Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah 1) memperkenalkan sistem Mendeley, 2) memberikan pelatihan penyusunan daftar pustaka dan penelusuran referensi, 3) memberikan pelatihan penyusunan daftar isi, 4) mengetahui respon peserta terhadap kegiatan pelatihan. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan (workshop) yakni, pemberiaan wawasan tata tulis daftar pustaka dan daftar isi, diskusi tentang sistem Mendelay, latihan penyusunan daftar pustaka dan penelusuran daftar pustaka, selanjutnya dilakukan pendampingan. Jumlah peserta sebanyak 26 orang dosen swasta se kabupaten Buleleng yang akan dilaksanakan di Kampus STIKES Buleleng. Pada pertemuan pertama peserta dianjurkan untuk membawa laptop dan diberikan program untuk menginstal aplikasi Mendeley kemudian diberikan pengarahan untuk membuat cara menulis daftar pustaka dan daftar isi secara cepat. Kegiatan ini dilakukan selama 3 bulan. Kegiatan P2M ini berjalan dengan lancar dan diikuti oleh khalayak sasaran dosen PTS di Kabupaten Buleleng. Respon peserta diukur dengan menggunakan kuisioner diakhir pelatihan. Peserta mengatakan bahwa materi yang dibahas dalam pelatihan mengataka 76,1 % sangat penting, dan 23,9% penting. Kondisi ini menunjukkan bahwa materi ini memang tepat sasaran dan berguna bagi khalayak sasaran. Para narasumber menyampaikan materi 42% menyatakan sangat baik dan 58 % baik. Selain itu, respon peserta terhadap waktu pelatihan, peserta 39,0% menyatakan sangat perlu, 54% perlu, dan 7% mengatakan cukup dengan waktu yang tersedi. The objectives of this activity are 1) introducing the Mendeley system, 2) providing training in the preparation of bibliography and reference searching; 3) providing training on the preparation of the table of contents; 4) knowing the participants' response to the training activities. The method used in this activity is the training (workshop), namely the granting of insight into the bibliography of bibliography and table of contents, discussions about Mendelay system, the exercise of the bibliography and the bibliography search, then done the assistance. The number of participants is planned as many as 30 private lecturers in Buleleng district which will be held in STIKES Buleleng Campus. At the first meeting participants are encouraged to bring a laptop and be given a program to install Mendeley app and then be briefed to make a quick way to write a bibliography and a table of contents. This activity is done for 3 months. This P2M activity runs smoothly and is followed by the target audience of university lecturers in Buleleng Regency. Participants' responses were measured using a questionnaire at the end of the training. Participants say that the material discussed in the training says 76.1% is very important, and 23.9% is important.This condition shows that this material is right on target and useful for the target audience, The speakers convey the material 42% mnyatakan very good and 58% good. In addition, participants' responses to training time, 39.0% of participants stated very necessary, 54% needed, and 7% said enough with the time available.

Abstract

Rumput laut alam banyak ditemukan di perairan sekitar pantai di Desa Ujung Baji Kabupaten Takalar. Pada saat air laut surut warga masyarakat, terutama para ibu dan anak-anaknya turun ke laut untuk memetik rumput laut yang tumbuh secara alamiah tersebut. Mereka bisa mendapatkan rumput laut sebanyak dua karung dengan bobot sekitar 50 kg, selanjutnya rumput laut tersebut dikeringkan dan dijual kepada tengkulak. Namun dengan dikembangkannya budidaya rumput laut di wilayah lain di Kabupaten Takalar, tidak ada lagi tengkulak yang membeli hasil rumput laut alam dari masyarakat Pesisir di Desa Ujung Baji. Para tengkulak lebih memilih membeli rumput laut kering hasil budidaya, antara lain karena kemudahan transportasi. Mayoritas warga di desa ujung baji berprofesi sebagai nelayan. Kaum perempuan bertugas mengasuh anak dan mengurus rumah tangga. Semula mereka bisa mencari tambahan penghasilan dari rumput laut alam, namun karena tidak ada lagi pembeli rumput laut kering sehingga mereka banyak menganggur. Berdasarkan masalah yang dihadapi oleh para ibu rumah tangga maka tim pengusul IbM akan bekerja sama dengan mitra untuk mengembangkan keterampilan membuat aneka olahan rumput laut yang diperoleh dari alam. Apabila mereka dilatih dan dibina untuk membuat berbagai olahan rumput laut alam yang diminati konsumen maka kegiatan tersebut dapat menambah penghasilan keluarga. Selain itu produk olahan rumput laut yang enak rasanya, dikemas secara menarik, dan dipromosikan secara teratur dapat dijadikan alternatif oleh-oleh khas KabupatenTakalar. Untuk merealisasikan kegiatan tersebut langkah yang ditawarkan adalah pembentukan dua kelompok warga binaan melalui kegiatan PKK Dusun Maccini Baji dan Makkio Baji, yang akan dilatih untuk membuat aneka olahan rumput laut, termasuk cara pengemasannya dan manajemen dan pemasaran melalui brosur dan media online.

Abstract

Gianyar sebagai salah satu kabupaten di Bali terkenal akan kelezatan dan keunikan kulinernya terutama kue – kue tradisional Bali seperti klepon, bendu, bugis, dadar, bolu, kue mangkok, sirat dan pasung. Kue tradisional tersebut sangat dibutuhkan dalam aktivitas kebudayaan bahkan keagamaan. Pembuatan kue tradisional tersebut dikerjakan di rumah – rumah penduduk sebagai home industri kecil atau dikenal dengan industri rumah tangga (IRT). Dua industri rumah tangga yang menjadi mitra yaitu industri rumah tangga dari Ida Bagus Nyoman Berata dan industri rumah tangga dari Gusti Ayu Diawati yang keduanya berlokasi di Gianyar. Kedua mitra tersebut merupakan industri jajanan tradisional Bali yang masih menggunakan alat tradisional dalam memproduksi jajanan serta tidak memiliki manajemen keuangan dan manajemen pemasaran. Strategi pemasaran yang digunakan hanya dengan memajang produk mereka di warung dan menunggu pembeli datang. Sehinga kendala yang dihadai oleh masing – masing mitra tersebut terletak pada proses produksi, Manajemen dan pemasaran. industri Ida Bagus Nyoman Berata memiliki kendala dalam pemasaran yang masih manual karena hanya berdasarkan pesanan di sekitar lokasi penjualan, kemasan yang belum sederhana tanpa ada branding, jumlah produksi yang terbatas karena keterbatasan alat. Industri Gusti Ayu Diawati memiliki kendala dalam proses produksi karena keterbatasan peralatan, serta pemasaran yang masih sederhana. Dalam hal peningkatan penjualan, kedua mitra terletak di pinggir jalan utama tetapi arus lalu lintas yang sepi, sehingga model-model promosi sangat diperlukan. Maka, Tujuan dari pengadian masyarakat ini yaitu ingin membantu menyelesaikan permasalahan kedua mitra tersebut agar dapat meningkatkan kuantitas dan kualitas dari hasil produksi mereka, membantu membuatkan manajemen produksi sampai manajemen keuangan dan membantu membuatkan desain kemasan produk serta membantu menyediakan sarana pemasaran yang berkelanjutan. Target luaran yang telah dicapai sampai saat ini melalui kegiatan ini adalah pembelian beberapa peralatan untuk menunjang usaha telah terlaksana 70% seperti mesin pemarut kelapa, kompor gas, mesin pembuat tepung beras dan lainnya, pelatihan untuk peningkatan manajemen dan pengelolaan usaha telah terlaksana 70%, Pembuatan website untuk meningkatkan pemasaran telah selesai 100%. Gianyar as one of the regencies in Bali is famous for its delicacy and culinary uniqueness especially traditional Balinese cakes such as klepon, bendu, bugis, dadar, sponge, cupcakes, sirat and pasung. Such traditional cakes are needed in cultural and even religious activities. Traditional cake making is done in people's homes as small home industry or known as home industry. Two household industries that are partners are home industry from Ida Bagus Nyoman Berata and home industry from Gusti Ayu Diawati which are both located in Gianyar. Both partners are traditional Balinese hawker industries that still use traditional tools in producing snacks and do not have financial management and marketing management. Marketing strategies are used only by displaying their products in stalls and waiting for buyers to arrive. So the constraints faced by each partner lies in the production process, Management and marketing. Ida Bagus Nyoman Berata industry has an obstacle in marketing that is still manual because it is only based on orders around the location of the sale, packaging that has not been simple without any branding, limited production because of the limitations of the tool. Industry Gusti Ayu Diawati has constraints in the production process due to limited equipment, and marketing is still simple. In terms of increased sales, the two partners are located on the main roadside but the traffic flow is quiet, so promotional models are necessary. Thus, the purpose of this community identification is to help solve the problems of both partners in order to increase the quantity and quality of their products, help to make production management to financial management and help make product packaging design and help provide a sustainable marketing tool. Output targets that have been achieved to date through this activity are the purchase of some equipment to support the business has been done 70% such as coconut engine, gas stove, rice flour machine and others, training for improvement of management and business management has been done 70%, Manufacture website to improve the marketing has been completed 100%.

Abstract

Para mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Manado memiliki potensi besar untuk menjadi wirausaha yang sukses jika diberikan pelatihan, pemantauan dan pendampingan kewirausahaan yang komprehensif. Masalahnya, sejauh ini hal-hal yang disebutkan di atas tidak diperoleh mahasiswa secara praktis. Melalui Program Ipteks bagi Kewirausahaan (IbK), siswa diberikan pelatihan, mentoring dan pengalaman nyata dalam kewirausahaan. Metode yang dilakukan dalam program ini disesuaikan dengan kondisi tenant. Hasil dari program Ibk ini jelas di mana saat ini ada 8 mahasiswa pemula yang telah berhasil membuka usaha mereka. The students of University of Manado have great potential to become successful entrepreneurs if provided with comprehensive entrepreneurship training, monitoring and mentoring. The problem, so far the things mentioned above are not obtained by students practically. Through Sciences Technology and Arts for Entrepreneurship Program (IbK), students are given training, mentoring and real experience in entrepreneurship.The methods undertaken in this program are adapted to the tenant conditions. The result of this Ibk program is clear where there are currently 8 start up students who have successfully opened their business.

Abstract

Religious activities in Bali are never separated from the supporting facilities and infrastructure needed to organize the ceremony. So many facilities are needed so that many small and medium businesses are emerging to meet the needs of the Upakara. Jaje uli is one of the traditional Balinese snacks that is always used in every religious ceremony. This makes the production of jaje uli more attractive due to promising results. In Luwus Village, there are Mekar groups and Kube Cempaka which produce jaje uli. But unfortunately, the production activities of these two groups experienced problems due to the lack of facilities and infrastructure to increase their production businesses. For this reason in this activity the PKM Unmas Denpasar team provided assistance for production facilities as well as financial management and product labeling. The results of this PKM activity are that partners are still able to produce jaje uli during the rainy season, and are able to start maintaining the hygiene and hiegiene of the product in the production process, as well as knowing the exact amount of profit in its production activities. This is certainly very helpful for partners to manage their business so they can remain productive. Management activities, especially bookkeeping are needed in this medium business, because financial statements can be used to describe the financial condition of a business. So it can be concluded that the activities of the community partnership program that have been implemented are able to help groups of entrepreneurs in the field of production and management. The target can be achieved and in accordance with the expected outcomes, namely that it has been able to equip the facilities and infrastructure in the field of production and is able to manage partners to create financial flows.

Abstract

Rempeyek is a confection made from flour with a mixture of nuts and cooked with fried. Rempeyek is usually easy to find in traditional markets and can be used as a side dish. Besides rempeyek can also be consumed directly as a snack. Rempeyek production is occupied by partners in this activity. The first partner is Ibu Ni Nengah Supartiniati who produces rempeyek of soybean. The second partner is Mr. I Ketut Darmawan who produces rempeyek of soybean and peanuts. Both partners are located at Br. Yeh Gangga, Sudimara Village, Tabanan Sub-district, Tabanan District, Bali Province. The current condition, there are some obstacles in the production of rempeyek, which is limited information about the market tastes to the varieties of rempeyek, the limitations of production aids, product packaging design, lack of management of SMEs and limitations in marketing. Based on the constraints faced, it will be a gradual activity ranging from surveys on market tastes to variants rempeyek, production, until product marketing. Until now the activities that have been done started with the socialization, the provision of equipment as production aids such as dough mixer machine, stove, wok and press packaging machine, packaging training and packaging design, website development and website usage training. Indicator of achievement is the increase of partner's income up to 100%, increase of production amount up to 100%, packaging of spray product become more interesting, partners have a marketing website and can use the website.. To increase the number of production and increase the revenue of the partner, the measurement evaluation is done 1 month setting the use of production equipment. This activity is planned to last for eight (8) months with budget of Rp. 40.000.000, -.

Abstract

Mengani Village, Kintamani Subdistrict, Bangli Regency, is a partner village of the Faculty of Agriculture, Mahasaraswati University, Denpasar. The distance to the subdistrict capital is 17 km, and to the capital of Bangli Regency is 37 km, while the distance to the provincial capital is around 50 km. The land area of ​​Mengani village is 437 hectares, of which 25 hectares are paddy fields, and the rest are plantations and yards. The Mengani village farmers have been planting well-adapted rice on the highlands, namely the Red Pilian variety which is rice with a red grain. But there is a belief that has been believed for generations that rice cultivation does not need to be fertilized either organic fertilizer or chemical fertilizers or pesticides. As a result, production per land area is very low at around 2-3 tons per hectare. Seeing such conditions, it is necessary to make efforts to increase the productivity of “Pilian Merah” rice organically through the making of organic rice demonstration plots by applying a good cultivation system that is good soil cultivation, planting young seedlings, planting only 2 seedlings, minimal water, fertilizing with organic fertilizer local, and the use of vegetable pesticides for the control of rice pests and diseases. The method of implementing science and technology is carried out through socialization, training, assistance, demonstration of organic rice plots. The results of the activity showed that there was an increase in farmers' knowledge about organic farming, from the initial 50% of farmers who did not understand to 100% understanding of organic farming, understanding of the dangers of synthetic chemical fertilizers to soil and environment from 70% of farmers who did not understand 100% understanding , understanding of the dangers of synthetic chemical pesticides to useful insects and the environment from the beginning 70% of farmers did not understand increased to100% understanding. Besides that, there was an increase in the skills of farmers in making organic fertilizers, which was originally 30% unskilled to 80% skilled, the skills of farmers in making organic pesticides originally 100% unskilled increased to 50% quite skilled. The conclusion that can be drawn from the implementation of science and technology is that the activities carried out related to the understanding and skills of farmers in supporting organic farming have succeeded in increasing farmers' understanding and skills so that sustainability in the field will run well.

Abstract

Two groups of local community who professionalize as wood carver for living in Batuan village, named I Kadek Pastika dan Komang Astika still has complicated problems so that very much influence prosperity of the family. Their problems are centralized on human resources, production, equipment, financial management and marketing due to lack of attention of local government. The purpose of the program is to empower the groups to develop human resources in business, upgrade the product quality, and donate some equipment so that that that can improve prosperity and inspire other community. The program made use of knowledge transfer, technology diffusion, and entrepreneurship capacity building through training workshop, and simulation of art performance. Training of designing carving on wood, ornaments production, carving skill and marketing have been done for 4 months. Design products included wall ornament, interior ornament, and souvenir. Financial management and marketing training has been conducted for two weeks and the output was the ability of daily simple accounting, name cards, and name boards and social media. Based on the evaluation, the program of community partnership has obtained the target therefore the groups can lead a better economy growth.

Abstract

One sub-district that has the potential for marine and fisheries as well as superior tourism in Pangkajene and Islands regencies is Liukang Tupabbiring Utara sub-district. Superior fisheries potential in Mattiro Baji Village and Mattiro Bombang Village in Liukang Tupabbiring Utarasub-district is an opportunity to invest. Small islands in these two villages generally face various obstacles and problems as a consequence of isolation and the difficulty of access to service centers, education, and the economy. Therefore, UNHAS in collaboration with the Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar and the Regional Government of Pangkep Regency agreed to try to overcome and reduce this problem through the Regional Partnership Program (PKW) in Liukang Tupabbiring Utara sub-district, Pangkep Districts. The Regional Partnership Program (PKW) has produced several activities, namely: Training in making environmentally friendly fishing equipment and sustainable fisheries, post-harvest handling & processing of seaweed and fish products, PIRT management, product packaging and exhibitions, business development of souvenirs and coverage in online media, simple bookkeeping training and marketing for handicraft businesses on Saugi Island, health data mapping, training in waste processing, advocacy for the formation of cooperatives. The implementation of this program can not only improve the economy and quality of public health, but also can encourage environmental quality improvement, so that natural resources can be managed sustainably by better human resources.

Abstract

The indicator of territory improvement was human resource development. It becamecentral issues in this study. Education and economic empowering were asmain factors in empowering the society. Society was in around Bantimurung Tourism Park need English competences and home industry skill. English was used to communicate the tourists well and home industry as alternative way in increasing their family’s capital.Partisipative method was one available approach in participating and in accommodating the society through the programs proposed by the team of KKN PPM 2016.The purposes of these programs were 1) English village forming, 2) The formation of a potent entrepreneurial-based creative entrepreneurial group. The resut of the promrams were; 1) there was literacy community for teenager and the youth, 2) there was children art group of farmer community, 3) The improvement of family group home industry and the economy.
