Abstract

The bike lane in Semarang city has the potential to be developed even though the topography is contoured by hills that divide the city into lower Semarang and upper Semarang. This study aims to determine the potential location of the bike lane development so that the bike mode in lower Semarang can be integrated with the Trans Semarang BRT to upper Semarang, or vice versa, especially to the Semarang State University (UNNES) campus area in Gunungpati district. The BRT integrated bike mode is expected to be able to make the city of Semarang a "Bicycle Friendly City". This research method uses a quantitative descriptive method with a BLOS (Bicycle Level Of Service) method approach. Primary data were obtained by interview techniques, field observations, field trip, and documentation. Secondary data were obtained through literature studies related to bike lane policies and standards. The results of this study are that the BLOS score in the UNNES area is 2.4 ”“ 2.88 (ranks B and C) with a good environmental description and good enough for bicycles. The conclusion is the development of bike lanes and facilities can be applied in the campus area with limited integration of Trans Semarang BRT, related to type and amount of bike, integrated and transit halte locations that support Bike on Board facilities. The Most implication of this research results is that it can increase the participation of students as agents of the younger generation who have an influence in a change.

Abstract

The landslide of the upper slope in the excavation work of the spillway SadawarnaDam Package II Subang occurred after rain, precisely at the STA location from0+500 to 0+520. The purpose of the study was to compare soil reinforcement on theprevious spillway slope using geomat and shotcrete with soil reinforcement usingsoil nailing. Based on soil data the spillway slope consists of two types of slopes, theupper slope consists of CL (BS:03) while the lower consists of ML (BS:04). Theshear strength parameters C and Phi of both slope soils are quite high. Using PlaxisV.21, Slope/W and Seep/W, with C and Phi the slopes were found to be stable. However, in reality there was a landslide on the upper slope. Therefore, backanalysis was performed by lowering the strength parameters of the top soil adjacentto the slope until the landslide was realized. The reinforcement used on the twoslopes was different, the upper slope used geomat while the lower slope usedshotcrete, then the geomat was changed to soil nailing. Two seasonal models wereapplied to all reinforcements. The results showed that the factor of safety valuesfrom the back analysis modeling in the wet season using geomat and shotcrete wereless than 1 (Unstable). However, reinforcement using soil nailing has a SafetyFactor higher than 1.5. Based on these results, soil nailing can be a solution tominimize landslides on the spillway slope.

Abstract

The Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations (AECO) industry has shown high interest in the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) for Facility Maintenance Management (FMM). The opportunity to use BIM for the operational activities of building facilities is very large, but the use of BIM in FM is still far behind compared to the implementation of BIM at the design and construction stages. This research is intended to test the tile floor maintenance method and create visualizations in animative form and apply them in virtual learning with evaluation based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The results of the student t-test statistical test showed that there was a very significant effect of the Ceramic Floor Care Method Learning Media on increasing user knowledge in 5 aspects (learning objectives, knowledge, materials, service quality, and appearance). The test results by media experts on the aspects of language, display, and service quality obtained the "very feasible" category, while the test results by material experts on the aspects of learning objectives, material delivery, and material selection also obtained the "very feasible" category to be applied in learning/ training. It is hoped that the results of this research can trigger the formation of an open access BIM object library.

Abstract

Test selection is very influential in determining the design parameters. The aim of this research is to study the dimensions of the triaxial test soil sample on clay soils in the Semarang area to obtain soil shear parameters that can be used as design parameters. The tests include testing the physical and mechanical properties of the soil. Mechanical testing uses a triaxial test. The UU triaxial test sample is modeled with a diameter of 3.5 cm and 3.8 cm, while the CU sample is 3.5 cm. Based on the results of soil property index testing, sieve analysis, and consistency limits, it can be concluded that the soil samples are non-organic clay with high plasticity. Based on the triaxial test UU values of c and Ï… it can be seen that the largest shear parameter occurs in the specimen with a diameter of 3.8 cm. The largest UU triaxial test c value is 0.32 kg/cm2 , meanwhile, for Ï… it has a value of 11.65 º. The specimen with a larger diameter has a greater shear stress value. This can be influenced by larger c and Ï… values. The c and c' values of the triaxial CU test results were 0.32 kg/cm2 and 0.50 kg/cm2 respectively. While the values of Ï… and Ï…' are 9.89 º and 17.35 º respectively. The Ï„ and Ï„' values obtained were 1,394 kg/cm2 and 1,405 kg/cm2 , respectively. The modulus of elasticity of soil is 1500 kN/m2 and 3200 kN/m2 respectively which is included in the type of soft clay soil with a value range of 1800 ”“ 3500 kN/m2 and is included in the CH classification with a range of 0.35”“4 MPa. The value of the elastic modulus taking into account the value of cohesion, plasticity index, and OCR is closer to the prediction of soil elastic modulus values by Das

Abstract

The use of HSPD (Hydraulic Static Pile Driver) in deep foundation can reduce the level of noise and vibration as a result of pile driving. When a pile is hydraulically driven into the ground to the required axial compression capacity as recorded by a manometer installed on the HSPD equipment, a failure in this capacity is frequently observed after a dynamic verification test (PDA test). The purpose of this study is to determine the root cause of discrepancies in the axial compression capacity between results monitored by the HSPD equipment and dynamic test verification. This research examined SQ25 and SQ30 piles of 295 and 94 numbers respectively in the period of January 2020 to July 2022. Dynamic verification test indicated that 11% SQ25 and 7% SQ30 piles were problematic. Based on the linear regression analysis, the embedment of pile (Lp), final settlement (DFN), and frictional resistance (Rs) contribute an effect on the mentioned above discrepancy. For the problematic SQ25 and SQ30 piles, values of Ì…Ì…Ì… and Ì…Ì…Ì…Ì… Ì…Ì…Ì… are less than the ones for non-problematic piles. In contrary, the value of Ì…Ì…Ì…Ì…Ì…Ì… for problematic piles is larger than the one for non-problematic piles.

Abstract

This research is a type of quantitative research with a case study approach, namely calculating the analysis of the unit price of road works carried out using the SNI 2016 and Bina Marga 2020 analysis methods. The locations used in this research are Jalan Dewi Sartika and Jalan Mojoranu Mastrip, Bojonegoro Regency. Based on the research results, it is known that there is a difference in the unit price of the work between the 2016 SNI analysis and the 2020 Bina Marga. In the Asphalt Concrete-Binder Course (AC-BC) work using the Bina Marga 2020 method, the difference in work unit prices is greater than the 2016 SNI analysis of 1.09% for Jalan Dewi Sartika and 4.38% for Jalan Mojoranu Mastrip. Whereas the Asphalt Concrete-Wearing Course (AC-WC) work using the Bina Marga 2020 method also has a larger difference in the unit price of work compared to the 2016 SNI analysis of 47.54% for Jalan Dewi Sartika and 51.77% for Jalan Mojoranu Mastrip. The ratio of unit price comparisons between the 2016 SNI analysis and 2020 Bina Marga for the Asphalt Concrete-Binder Course (AC-BC) work using the Bina Marga 2020 method has a larger ratio difference compared to the 2016 SNI analysis of 1.01 for Jalan Dewi Sartika and 1.04 for Jalan Mojoranu Mastrip. Meanwhile, the Asphalt Concrete-Wearing Course (AC-WC) work using the Bina Marga 2020 method also has a larger ratio difference compared to the 2016 SNI analysis of 1.48 for Jalan Dewi Sartika and 1.52 for Jalan Mojoranu Mastrip. All supporting components in the Asphalt Concrete-Binder Course (AC-BC) and Asphalt Concrete-Wearing Course (AC-WC) have different differences in work unit prices and ratios. Based on these differences it is known that the most efficient components are workers and foremen.

Abstract

According to Indonesian Geological Agency Karanggede ”“ Juwangi Road, Boyolali Regency stands on expansive clay soil. This expansive clay causes road damage, like crocodile skin cracks, longitudinal cracks, and potholes. One of the alternative improvements used is to provide environmentally friendly reinforcement in the form of biopolymers. In addition to providing soil stability, the application of biopolymers can also increase soil strength. The biopolymers used in this study were XG (Xantahan Gum), GG (Guar Gum), and CHI (Chitosan). XG biopolymer is known to provide an increase in strength of up to 900%, but the content of TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) exceeds the safe limit of water quality standards for sanitation. Meanwhile, the GG and CHI biopolymers still provide a strength increase of 200% to 400% while maintaining the environmental carrying capacity (groundwater).
