Abstract

Siswa SMP Negeri 24 Banjarmasin bermasalah pada proses pembelajaran yang tidak dapat mengaplikasikan konsep ekosistem pada kehidupan nyata dan masalah kehidupan sehari-hari. Selain itu nilai siswa pada materi ini belum maksimal karena lebih banyak hanya menghafal. Dari permasalahan tersebut perlu penelitian tindakan kelas yang dapat  meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam mengaplikasikan konsep ekosistem pada kehidupan nyata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk peningkatan hasil belajar siswa; aktifitas siswa;  aktifitas guru; dan respon siswa dalam pembelajaran konsep ekosistem menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dan pendekatan lingkungan pada siswa SMP Negeri 24 Banjarmasin. Penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan secara bersiklus. Adapun penelitian menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dan pendekatan lingkungan. Hasil penelitian dengan tindakan kelas terlaksana secara 3 siklus di mana, tiap siklus terdiri atas 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan tindakan; pelaksanaan tindakan; observasi dan analisis; serta refleksi.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar dengan ketuntasan klasikal 72,22% menjadi 91,67%.. Aktivitas siswa menunjukkan perkembangan yang baik berupa terjadi peningkatan aktivitas yang positif dan penurunan aktivitas yang tidak begitu menunjang pembelajaran sedangkan aktivitas guru menunjukan peningkatan dari aktivitas cukup baik menjadi baik.

Abstract

Has done research on the learning outcomes of Natural Sciences on the material and its use by using direct instruction teaching model. The purpose of this research is to improve student learning outcomes on the material source of energy and usefulness. Study consisted of two cycles, it is expected through increasing of learning activities. Finally, student’s learning outcomes will increase. Subject of this research is students of SMALB Tanjung Pelita Hati 10th grade amounted 5 people. research results can be obtained from the test giving and deployment of questionnaire. The results showed that: (1). The ability of teachers to implement design of learning (RPP) in teaching at the first cycle was 96.87% and the second cycle teachers can implement learning activities in accordance with the design of learning full, (2). Student learning activities in the first cycle, the percentage of students who are active around 80.00 to 100% and the second cycle of active students ranged from 90.00% to 100%. (3). The results of student learning in the first cycle an average of 62.00% and 60.00% exhaustiveness classical, and the second cycle has increased to 72.00% and 80.00% exhaustiveness classical, (4). The student’s responses of the learning activities is positive.Key words: direct instruction teaching model, Natural Sciences, material source of energy and usefulness

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang pengetahuan masyarakat Desa Macajah Madura tentang pembuatan terasi udang rebon dan dibandingkan dengan konsep ilmiah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat Macajah memiliki penegtahuan bahwa terasi berbahan rebon menghasilkan bau yang khas dan dengan kualitas terbaik. Berdasarkan hasil kajian ilmiah diperoleh bahwa proses kegiatan pembuatan terasi yang dilakukan masyarakat dapat digunakan sebagai sumber belajar siswa untuk menumbuhkan nilai kearifan lokal dan karakter pada siswa

Abstract

Abstract: Problem based learning (PBL) is a pedagogical approach which involve and use the scenarios or complex situations to assist students in problem solving, commensurate or consistent with the character of collaborative learning. During the collaboratve study project, students work in a small group to write a scientific work, constructing a model, or generate awide range of products- all of them rrequire a problem solving skills. Teachers with all the facilities and means role as learning facilitator. PBL as a pedagogical approach is essentially characterized by (1) learning is based on the need to solve problems (2) the study take place independently and collaborativly with facilitators,(3) solutions of the problems based on the inquiry or investigation activity, (4) learn to develop creativity and self-assessment and (5) there is a direct product or the students real work shortly after the pedagogy. The learning outcome of PBL approach includes cognitive, affective, and psychomotor, but more emphasis on self-development in the learning process.Key words: problem based learning, collaborative learning, assessment and self evaluation

Abstract

Abstract. Has done research on the use of generative learning model in the material buffer solution which aims to determine (1) the activities of teachers, (2) the activity of students, (3) an increase in the ability to think creatively (4) improvement of learning outcomes, and (5) student response. The study design was a classroom action research (PTK) with two cycles consist of planning, action, observation and evaluation, as well as analysis and reflection. The subjects were students of class XI MS-7 SMA Negeri 2 Banjarmasin by the number of students 33 people. Data collection techniques using observation, testing creative thinking ability and achievement test. Data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis techniques passage and qualitative analysis. The results showed that (1) the activities of teachers has increased by 14.58%, (2) the activity of students has increased by 16.11%, (3) the ability of creative thinking of students for each indicator: (a) fluency increased by 8 33%, (b) flexibility increased by 16.67%, (c) elaboration increased by 8.33%, (d) Originality increased by 1.15%, (4) the results of studying the realm of knowledge of students increased by 15.39%, the result of studying the realm of attitudes increased by 7.40%, the result of studying the realm of skills increased by 8.64%, (5) students gave positive responses.Keyword: creative thinking ability, learning outcomes, buffers, generative learning model

Abstract

Abstract. Research has been done about usage of student worksheets based 3-phase learning cycle. This research aims to (1) determine differences in cognitive achievement between students who use student worksheets based 3-phase learning cycle with students who use 3-phase learning cycle model without student worksheets of redoks reactions (2) determine student response to usage of student worksheets based 3-phase learning cycle. This research method is a quasi-experiment. Samples were students of class X-1 and X-2 SMA Negeri 10 Banjarmasin amount to 66 people. The research design was used the nonequivalent control group design. Collecting data using achievement test and question form responses. Data were analyzed using t-test with a significance level of 5%. Percentages techniques used for the analysis of the response. Calculation of the t-test showed that ttest > ttable so that concluded that there is a significant difference in learning result between the experimental class and control class. As for the response of the students as much as 88.43% gave a positive response in the experimental class and 86.18% of students gave a positive response in the control class.Keywords: worksheets based 3-phase learning cycle, learning result, student response, redoks reactions

Abstract

Abstract. This research aimed to improve activity and students’ academic achievement in Basic Chemistry Course, The material of atoimc structure and their properties. This research used a PTK (Classroom Action Research) where it conducted in cyclical. Each cycle is divided to planning, actualling, observing, and reflecting. The student of The 2016 Mathematics Education taking the basic chemistry about 48 of students are the research sample.Data collecting technique used test and nontest. Data analysis used statistic descriptive. Finding showed that (1) Cooperative Model Group Investigation Type can improve student activity from aspecvisual activities, oral activities, listening activities and mental activities thru two cycles. It can be seen by the first cyclewas 77,08% and 83,33% in the second cycle. (2) Cooperative Model Group Investigation type can be improved the students’ academic achievement from cognitive, effective,and psychomotor aspecs. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kelayakan penuntun praktikum kimia dasar inovatif dalam perkuliahan kimia dasar dan mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar mahasiswa yang menggunakan penuntun praktikum kimia dasar inovatif terintegrasi pendekatan guided inquiry pada materi laju reaksi. Lokasi penelitian di Universitas HKBP Nommensen Pematangsiantar. Sampel penelitian diambil sebanyak 30 mahasiswa. Data pada penelitian ini diperoleh dari lembar observasi aktivitas siswa dan tes hasil belajar siswa. Teknik pengumpul data menggunakan lembar aktivitas dan tes objektif dalam bentuk pilihan ganda yang terdiri dari 20 soal. Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif berdasarkan penjelasan deskriptif hasil wawancara dan beberapa komentar dari validator. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian lembar observasi aktivitas siswa diperoleh nilai masing-masing observer I 89,3; observer II 77,3 dan observer III 78,2. Hasil tes objektif menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar rata-rata gain sebesar 0,52 berada pada kategori sedang yang merupakan peniaian dari ranah kognitif. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penuntun praktikum kimia dasar inovatif terintegrasi pendekatan guided inquiry untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses mahasiswa dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada materi laju reaksi.

Abstract

Learning process using project based learning model on statistical material in the 11 th grade of accelleration science class of SMAN 1 Tanjung is expected to increase student understanding. The purpose of this research is to improve the activity and student achievement. This study uses classroom action research design with 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of phases of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects were students of the 11th  grade of accelleration science class in SMAN 1 Tanjung consisting of 21 students. Research instrument is observation sheet and students achievement test. From the results can be concluded that: (1) student activities increased, that is activity of: (a) asking from 31.79% in cycle 1 to 60% in cycle 2, (b) answering questions from 41.54% in cycle 1 to 80% in cycle 2, (c) finding answers by his/her own knowledge from 58.57% in cycle 1 to 70% in cycle 2, (d) collecting the assignment from 45% in cycle 1 to 50 % in cycle 2, (e) finding answers collaboratively from 14.76% in cycle 1 to 60% in cycle 2, (f) finishing group assignment collaboratively from 78.09% in cycle 1 to 80% in cycle 2 . Some activities such as (a) student focus to listen teacher explain, (b) taking note, (c) the use of ruler, bow and draw diagram, (d) using book to find the answers, (e) doing teacher assigment, and (f) presenting the group work collaboratively, has reached 100% in cycle 1 to cycle 2, (2) student achievement increased from 70 on average in cycle 1, to 80 in cycle 2.Key words : Project Based Learning, statistic

Abstract

Abstract: the research has been carried out with the purpose to know the integrated science process skills of students of class IX SMPN 6 Banjarmasin 2011/2012. The research was carried out from November 2011 until January 2012. The Data collected from the test results the integrated science process skills, further analysis is done by qualitative descriptive. The results showed that the average integrated science process skills are measured from the fifth grade students on the skills aspect of the IX regular higher (0,672) compared to class IX RSBI (0,608) and class IX Acceleration (0,624). The average integrated science process skills are measured from the fifth aspect of learning objectives based on the grade IX SMPN 6 Banjarmasin had enough good, i.e. of 0,632. The highest average score on Science process skills acquired by the students integrated kls IX regular, i.e. of 68,50%, then followed by kls IX acceleration of 62.70%, and class IX for RSBI 61,70%. The overall average score of 64,30%. This score is still relatively low, considering the KKM for the value of the Science in SMPN 6 Banjarmasin is 80 (80%).Keywords: profile, the integrated science process skills
