Abstract

Implementation of Team Games Tournament (TGT) on Dynamic Electric System learning was investigated. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes and students' motivation towards implementation of TGT learning model. This study used  action research design with two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, acting, observing and reflecting phase. Research subjects were 15 students of X3 grade SMA Negeri 1 Haruai on academic year of 2011/2012. Data were collected through test, questionnaire, and observation and analyzed qualitatively. The results showed that implementation of TGT in Dynamic Electric System learning increased the student’s learning outcomes, meanwhile, students' motivation was good category.Key words: Team Games Tournament, dynamic electricity, motivation.

Abstract

Penerapkan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E (engagement, exploration, explanation, elaboration, evaluation) berbantuan LKPD berbasis level representasi pada pembelajaran materi larutan penyangga ini bertujuan (1) meningkatkan kualitas aktivitas guru (2) meningkatkan kualitas aktivitas peserta didik (3) meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik, dan (4) meningkatkan pemahaman konsep peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik  kelas XI PMIA 1 SMA Negeri 3 Banjarmasin dengan jumlah 37 orang. Instrumen tes untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir kritis berupa soal uraian, instrumen tes pemahaman konsep berupa pilihan ganda beralasan dan instrumen pengamatan aktivitas guru dan siswa berupa lembar observasi dengan skala Likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) kualitas aktivitas guru meningkat dari kategori cukup baik menjadi baik (2) kualitas aktivitas peserta didik meningkat dari kategori kurang aktif  menjadi aktif, (3) kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik meningkat dari 61,15% menjadi 76,01% dan (4) pemahaman konsep peserta didik meningkat dari 72,89% (kategori sedang) menjadi 82,31% (kategori tinggi). Hasil ini menggambarkan bahwa model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E dapat diterapkan untuk mengaktifkan peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran dan menfasilitasi penguasaan konsep kimia yang mendalam dengan menghubungkan level representasi sehingga berdampak pada kemampuan berpikir kritis.

Abstract

The applications of peat as a farm there are many limiting factors, among others, the reaction is very acidic soil and low nutrient content available. To overcome these problems usually done liming the soil. The addition of lime causes an increase in pH and nutrient  availability. This study used the eggshell and husk ash as a source of calcium to overcome the lack of calcium in the soil and to determine the effect of manure on the growth of kale. This study used 1.5 kg of peat per polybag and one plant per polybag. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) factorial. The first factor eggshell  with four levels namely: 0,0-1,5-3,0 and 4.5 g per polybag then the second factor with four level husk ash  are: 0,0-5,0-10,0 - 15.0 g per polybag. The third factor of manures are: 0.0 and 50.0 g per polybag. Do six replicates of each treatment combination. Growth parameters were observed plant height, number of leaves, fresh weight of shoot and root, root shoot ratio, pH of peat soil, content of Ca and Fe in shoots. Data were analyzed by Anova and a further test using Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at the test level α = 5%. The addition of manure increased plant growth of kale. The addition of egg shells raise the pH of peat soil. The addition of rice husk ash and manure on peat soil decreases the concentration of Ca and Fe on shoot of kale. Keywords: peat, kale, egg shells, rice husk ash, manure

Abstract

Instrumen soal yang baik dan kreatif sangat menentukan hasil penelitian dan evaluasi pembelajaran, khususnya dalam pembelajaran kimia. Training pra-instrument memberikan bekal keterampilan kepada calon guru kimia untuk membuat soal instrumen yang baik dan kreatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh peer assessment terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa tingkat akhir pendidikan kimia ditinjau berdasarkan kemampuan awal dalam training pra-instrument. Populasi dan sampel penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa semester tujuh Program Studi Pendidikan Kimia Universitas Islam Kalimantan (UNISKA) Muhammad Arsyad Al-Banjary tahun akademik 2017/2018. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen semu (quasy eksperimental research). Desain yang dipergunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah One Group Pretest-Postest Design. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrumen berupa soal tes kemampuan awal dan angket penilaian kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon berbantuan SPSS setelah dilakukan uji homogenitas dan normalitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh peer assessment terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa tingkat akhir pendidikan kimia yang ditinjau berdasarkan kemampuan awal dalam training pra-instrument.

Abstract

Abstract. Effectiveness between PDEODE based multimedia, PDEODE based laboratory and expository instructional strategy to improve learning outcome has been investigated. This study was used quasiexperiment with pretest-posttest nonequivalent group design. Next to that, the study involved students of class XI SMAN 2 Banjarmasin as research subject. The instrument that was used to compare student’s learning outcome of three classes is cognitive test with multiple choice form. Data was analyzed by one way Anova and Duncan. Based on analyze, this study showed that (1) there is a significant difference of learning outcome between PDEODE based multimedia, PDEODE based laboratory and expository instructional strategy (2) the use of PDEODE based multimedia is more effective than the use of expository or PDEODE based laboratory.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan membandingkan pemahaman konsep siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan media simulasi PhET dan tanpa menggunakan media simulasi PhET. Penelitian ini menggunakan nonequivalent control group design dengan 70 orang siswa sebagai sampel. Data penelitian diperoleh dari tes uraian. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney U. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan pemahaman siswa pada indikator menginferensi dan memberikan contoh, sedangkan pemahaman siswa pada indikator membandingkan dan  menjelaskan  adalah sama, baik dibelajarkan menggunakan PhET ataupun tanpa menggunakan PhET

Abstract

Model cooperative learning tipe think-pair-share dapat menilai hasil belajar siswa yang melibatkan peserta didik secara optimal dalam proses pembelajaran dimulai dari merencanakan topik-topik yang akan dipelajari,  mendiskusikan topik suatu materi, hingga melakukan presentasi kelompok dan evaluasi. Jenis model pembelajaran dapat dilakukan secara eksperimen semu (Quasi-Eksperimental) dengan posttest-only control group design. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen berupa lembar observasi dan tes hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Abstract. The aim of this study is to design a computation program of thermal distribution by using the LineSuccessive Overrelaxation (LSOR) method through the finite difference approach in the language of MATLAB (MatrixLaboratory). The methodology used in this study is a literature study. The result of this study is a computation programthat can perform appropriately to show the thermal distribution of a two – dimension system in a steady state. Abstract

Abstract. A research on the use of PBL learning model aided module on material buffer solution which aims to determine (1) the improvement of learning outcomes, (2) adherence to learning activities that teachers do, (3) the student activity and (4) the students' responses to learning. The study design was a classroom action research (PTK) with two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation and evaluation, as well as analysis and reflection. The subjects were students of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Banjarmasin MIA with 36 students. Data were collected through observation, achievement test and questionnaire. Data were analyzed by using descriptive analysis of quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results showed that the learning module aided PBL learning model can improve: (1) cognitive learning outcomes of students in the first cycle in the predicate 70.24% 83.50% in quite a good predicate on the second cycle, students in the affective implementation of the actions of 69,03% in the category quite well in the first cycle and 83.21% in both categories at the second cycle and psychomotor students in the implementation of the actions of 67.89% in the category of skilled enough became 79.98% in skilled categories in the second cycle (2) the activities learning by teachers from 76.96% in both categories in the first cycle to 91.85% in the excellent category on the second cycle; (3) the activity of students in the implementation of measures to increase from 71.5% in the active category in the first cycle to 87% in the category of very active in the second cycle; (4) The class XI student of SMAN 1 Banjarmasin MIA responded positively to learning by using a model-assisted PBL modules. Based on research conducted using the model-assisted PBL modules in the buffer solution can increase the activity of the students, the activities of teachers, students affective, psychomotor students and student learning outcomes with the acquisition of a positive response.Keywords: problem based learning, modules, student learning outcomes, buffers

Abstract

Abstract. The researcher has done a research about teaching learning using guided inquiry model with real expriment and animation expriment in system coloid material at SMA Negeri 1 Martapura batch 2015/2016. The purpose of this research was knowing the difference between scienific literacy and the teaching learning result also students’ feedback among class which used guided inquiry with real experiment and class which used guided inquiry model with animation experiment. This research was included in Quasi Experimental with plan pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. The samples of this research were 105 students, which consist of XI MIPA 1, XI MIPA 2, and XI MIPA 3. The samples were choosen using sampling porposive. The researcher was using test technique and non test technique. Analysis data technique used normality test, homogenity test, and anava one way test.The result shows that (1) there was no difference of learning result which significant among learners who used guided inquiry model with real experiment and animation experiment on coloid system material.(2) there was a difference scientific literacy significantly among learners who used guided inquiry model with real experiment and animation experiment on coloid system material and (3) learners gave positive feedback toward teaching learning process which used guided inquiry model with real experiment and animation experiment on coloid system material.Key words: guided inquiry teaching learning model, real experiment method, animation experiment method, learning result, scientific literacy and coloid system.
