Abstract

Abstract. This study concerning the effect of the use of the model-assisted learning Team Assisted Individualization media concept map. This study aims (1) to determine differences in cognitive achievement between students who use learning model Team Assisted Individualization media aided concept maps with students using the learning model without assisted Team Assisted Individualization media concept map on the material hydrolysis of salt (2) determine students' response to learning model using Team Assisted Individualization media aided concept maps. This research method is a quasi-experiment. Samples were students of class XI-Sains 1 and XI-Sains 2 in MAN 1 Banjarmasin numbered 74 people. The research design used was the nonequivalent control group design. Collecting data using achievement test and questionnaire responses. The data were analyzed using t-test with a significance level of 5%. Techniques used for the analysis of the percentage of responses. Calculation of the t-test showed that tcount> ttable therefore concluded that there are significant differences in learning outcomes between experimental and control classes. As for the response of the students as much as 75.08% gave a positive response in the experimental.keywords: model team assisted individualization of learning, concept maps, learning outcomes, hydrolysis of salt.

Abstract

Abstract. The oil palm is type of plantation sector with the largest commodity being developed by state-owned, private-companies, and also smallholders in South Kalimantan. The total area and production of oil palm in 2017 in South Kalimantan are 455.674 ha and 1.3 million ton, respectively. Oil palm wastes such as empty fruit bunch and oil palm frond are residue from palm oil industry can be utilized as cellulose and hemicellulose feedstock which can be converted into second-generation bioethanol as fuel substitute and xylitol as low caloric sweetener for sugarcane substitute. This article to discuss the potential, process, and opportunity for utilization of lignocellulosic waste of oil palm in South Kalimantan as raw material for bioethanol and xylitol.Keywords: lignocellulose, oil palm, bioethanol, xylitol

Abstract

Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian, untuk mengetahui keefektifan strategi pembelajaran metode ceramah ber-background musik instrumental klasik pada materi hukum-hukum dasar kimia ditinjau dari aspek kognitif dan afektif siswa.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas (action research), Siklus I dilaksanakan dalam tiga kali pertemuan, siklus II dilaksanakan satu kali pertemuan, sehingga untuk dua siklus terdapat empat kali pertemuan.Tahapan-tahapan dalam pelaksanaan setiap siklus yang akandilakukan:Perencanaan,Pelaksanaan Tindakan, Observasi dan Evaluasi, Analisis dan Refleksi.Subjek pada penelitian ini diambil secara acak dari dua kelas yang ada pada kelas X SMA Sabilal Muhtadin Banjarmasin. Subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas X-B yang berjumlah 20 orang (7 orang siswa dan 13 orang siswi). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Strategi pembelajaran metode ceramah ber-background musik instrumental klasik efektif diterapkan pada materi ini ditinjau dari aspek kognitif & afektif siswa, dapat dilihat dari indikator keberhasilan belajar siswa yang sangat tinggi mencapai 84% dan pernyataan sikap yang baik terhadap strategi pembelajaran yang digunakan.Kata Kunci: musik instrumental klasik, aspek kognitif, afektif siswa

Abstract

Abstract. This research was implementation of Predict, Observe, Explain (POE) model to electrolyte and nonelectrolyte material on the tenth of science students in SMA Negeri 4 Banjarmasin. It aimed for knowingthe differences (1) science process skill, (2) scientific attitude and (3) students’ cognitive ability who learns with the POE modelclass and with conventional class either (expository). This research used quasy experiment method with nonequivalent control group design. The sample of the research was X IPA 2 as the experimental class and X IPA 1 as the controllig class. Data collecting technique used tests and observations.Data analysis technique used descriptive and inferential analysis (normality test, homogeneous test and t-test). Abstract

The research on human motion system class using cooperative learning model types of “TGT” method was conducted. This study aims to find out students 'improvement, student’s activities and responses on “TGT” method. This research used class-action-research design with 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. Research subjects is 8th grade student of SMPN 1 Banua Lawas, totaling 27 people. The data was collected by observation, giving the test, deployment questionnaire. The data obtained were analyzed by qualitative descriptive. The results showed that (1) the ability of teachers in the first cycle in implementing design of learning (RPP) was 97.82% in the category of pretty good and the second cycle teachers can implement the learning design was 100% good category, (2) student learning activities in the first cycle, active students on average of 96.29% and the students who are active in the second cycle an average of 97.23%, (3) student learning outcomes in the first cycle average of 71.48 and 85.18% classical mastery learning and the second cycle has increased to 77.59 with a classical mastery learning 96.30%; (4) student responses to learning activities is positive.  Key word: TGT, reflection, human motion system, science in junior high school, respond

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang penerapan pendekatan Guided Inquiry pada materi pokok cahaya. Penerapan pendekatan Guided Inquiry  diharapkan dapat berdampak positif pada konstruksi pengetahuan siswa dan aktvitas siswa dalam proses pembelajaran IPA khususnya pada materi pokok cahaya sehingga mampu meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa (2) meningkatkan aktivitas siswa, dan (3) mengetahui respon siswa terhadapa implementasi pendekatan Guided Inquiry. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas 2 siklus. Masing-masing siklus terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIIB SMPN 3 Paringin yang berjumlah 18 orang. Instrument penelitian tes berupa instrument tes tertulis dan instrument non tes berupa angket dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa: (1) aktivitas siswa meningkat dar kategori cukup menjadi baik dan sangat baik (2) hasil belajar siswa meningkat dari 38,89% menjadi 66,67% dan meningkat lagi menjadi 88,89% (3) siswa menunjukan respon positif terhadap pembelajaran dengan pendekatan Guided Inquiry pada materi pokok cahaya dengan persentase 100%.Kata kunci: Guided Inquiry, cahaya, aktivitas siswa, hasil belajar

Abstract

Panduan praktikum fisika SMA materi sumber listrik arus searah berbasis inkuiri terbimbing sangat dibutuhkan di SMA Negeri 3 Metro, sehingga dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui kevalidan, kemudahan, dan kemenarikan produk panduan praktikum fisika SMA materi sumber listrik arus searah berbasis inkuiri terbimbing. Desain pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model ADDIE yang terdiri atas lima tahapan yaitu analisis, perencanaan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi, tetapi tahapan implementasi yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini hanya sampai pada uji kemenarikan dan kemudahan yang dilakukan oleh siswa kelas XI IPA di SMA Negeri 3 Metro. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu berupa angket kevalidan, kemenarikan, dan kemudahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rerata skor yang diperoleh dari uji validasi isi sebesar 3,35 dengan kriteria sangat baik, hasil uji validasi konstruk sebesar 3,53 dengan kriteria sangat baik, serta hasil uji keterbacaan oleh siswa sebesar 3,38 dan 4,00 dengan kriteria sangat menarik dan sangat mudah. Kesimpulan hasil penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah telah dihasilkan produk panduan praktikum fisika materi sumber listrik arus searah berbasis inkuiri terbimbing yang sangat valid, menarik, dan mudah untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran fisika di sekolah.

Abstract

Abstract. Methods One Day Adventure is a learning method developed from cooperative approach to the investigation group (Group Investigation). This study on the application of methods One Day Adventure at SDN Jurubanu on the subjects of Science. The research objective is to improve the scientific skills of students, increase the activity of teachers and students in the green plant material. Scientific skills are the main objectives of this research are mangamati skills, ask questions, make hypotheses, conduct observations, interpret and communicate. Subjects in this study were students of class V SDN Jurubanu totaling 14 people. The study design consisted of two cycles and each cycle consisting of 2 meetings. The results showed that: (1) an increase in scientific skills of students in each meeting, and the most developed skill is the skill of observation. (2) the quality of the teacher's activities increased from 41.5 category is very less in cycle 1 meeting 1 to 65 category is quite active in cycle 2 meeting 2, and (3) an increase in the activity of students in each cycle, cycle 1 meeting 1 scored the mean 54.1 average less active category while in the second cycle 2 meeting increased to 73.0 categories. Thus, it can be said that the method of One Day Adventure can improve scientific skills, activities of teachers and students of SDN Jurubanu activity.Keywords: teacher activities, student activities, scientific skills, methods One Day Adventure

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat instrumen penilaian IPA Terpadu dan perangkat pembelajaran yang layak dengan model pembelajaran PjBL untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif siswa SMP pada materi Sistem Ekskresi Manusia. Adapun pengembangan perangkat merupakan modifikasi dari model Dick dan Carey yang diujicobakan pada siswa kelas VIII SMP semester genap tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 dan dilakukan pengulangan sebanyak 2 kali. Rancangan penelitian One-Group Pretest-Post-test Design. Data penelitian yang diukur adalah validitas, kepraktisan, dan efektivitas instrumen penilaian dan perangkat pembelajaran dan dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (a) perangkat pembelajaran dan instrumen penilaian IPA Terpadu yang dikembangkan berkategori sangat valid dengan nilai modus 5, (b) kegiatan pembelajaran terlaksana sangat baik dengan nilai modus 5, (c) aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran terlaksana sangat baik dengan nilai modus 5, (d) respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran proyek cukup baik dengan kisaran angka antara 50%-60%, dan (e) hasil tes berpikir kritis dan kreatif siswa ada peningkatan yang baik pula, kemampuan berpikir kritis meningkat dari 25,85 (Kurang Kritis) menjadi 87,76 (Sangat Kritis) dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif meningkat dari 20,44 (Kurang Kreatif) menjadi 84,85 (Sangat Kreatif). Simpulan pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran dan instrumen penilaian IPA Terpadu dalam pembelajaran Project Based Learning yang dikembangkan layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif siswa.
