Abstract

Abstrak. This study aims to improve the competence of the madrasah head in carrying out academic supervision through continuous guidance. The study was designed using school action research with 2 cycles. The research subject was the Head of Madrasa Patronage in Banjarmasin City. Techniques for collecting data through documentation, interviews and observation. The research data were analyzed using descriptive and quantitative descriptive statistics. The results of the study indicate that continuous guidance can improve the competency of the headmaster in carrying out academic supervision from sufficient qualifications in Cycle I to be well qualified in Cycle II. Kata Kunci: Bimbingan Berkelanjutan, Kompetensi, Supervisi Akademik. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi kepala madrasah dalam melaksanakan supervisi akademik melalui bimbingan berkelanjutan. Penelitian dirancang menggunakan penelitian tindakan sekolah dengan 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah Kepala Madrasah Binaan di Kota Banjarmasin. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui dokumentasi, wawancara dan observasi. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan statistika deskriptif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkah bahwa bimbingan berkelanjutan dapat meningkatkan kompetensi kepala madrasah dalam melaksanakan supervisi akademi dari kualifikasi cukup di Siklus I meningkat menjadi kualifikasi baik di Siklus II. Kata Kunci: Bimbingan Berkelanjutan, Kompetensi, Supervisi Akademik.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in chemistry learning by using Beku traditional dance as the learning medium. This descriptive quantitative study uses one group pretest-posttest design. The sample of this study was 30 semester I students of the Mathematics Education Study Program at the University of Flores. The results of the study showed that (1) the completeness of student chemistry learning outcomes reached 93%, (2) the student response to category learning was very good. This shows that frozen traditional dance can be an effective learning medium in learning the chemistry of acid-base material. Keywords: base acid, learning media, beku traditional dance Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran kimia dengan menggunakan tari tradisional beku sebagai media pembelajaran. Penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif ini menggunakan one group pretest-posttest design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester I Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Flores sebanyak 30 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) ketuntasan hasil belajar kimia mahasiswa mencapai 93%, (2) respon mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran berkategori sangat baik. Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to minimize the difficulty of learning mathematics students by applying learning with a constructivist approach. This classroom action research was conducted on class VIII students of SMP PGRI 3 Banjarmasin, which amounted to 30 people, for 3 cycles. Data collection was done by test and non-test techniques, using learning outcomes tests, observation sheets, and student response questionnaires. Data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed that (1) student activity in learning increased to 93%; (2) student responses to learning is fun; and (3) student learning completeness increases to 97%. Thus, it can be concluded that mathematics learning with a constructivist approach is able to minimize the difficulty of learning mathematics students on the topic straight line equations. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meminimalkan kesulitan belajar matematika siswa dengan menerapkan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan konstruktivis. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas VIII SMP PGRI 3 Banjarmasin yang berjumlah 30 orang, selama 3 siklus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik tes dan non tes, menggunakan tes hasil belajar, lembar pengamatan, dan angket respon siswa. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuntitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran meningkat menjadi 93%; (2) respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran adalah menyenangkan; dan (3) ketuntasan belajar siswa meningkat menjadi 97%. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran matematika dengan pendekatan konstruktivis mampu meminimalkan kesulitan belajar matematika siswa pada topik persamaan garis lurus. Kata kunci: pendekatan konstruktivis, kesulitan belajar, aktivitas siswa, persamaan garis lurus.

Abstract

Abstract. It has been conducted the research on the implementation of Guided Discovery Learning (GDL) models on salt hydrolysis material. The factors studied were teacher activities, student activities, critical thinking skills, and cognitive, affective, and psychomotor learning outcomes. This study uses a classroom action research design with 2 cycles. The source of the data is 37 students of class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Banjarmasin. The research instruments were tests and nontes. The results showed that there was an increase in teacher activity by 35.20%, from 51.13 (quite good) in cycle 1 to 69.13% (good) in cycle II; there was an increase in student activity by 41.19%, from 47.13% (quite active) in the first cycle to 88.88% (active) in cycle II; students' critical thinking skills increase by 27.30%; learning outcomes of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor respectively increased by 23.39%, 40.43%, and 37.62%. Keywords: GDL, critical thinking, learning outcomes   Abstrak. Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang penerapan model Guided Discovery Learning (GDL) pada materi hidrolisis garam. Faktor yang diteliti yaitu aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa, keterampilan berpikir kritis, hasil belajar kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan 2 siklus. Sumber data penelitian adalah 37 orang siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Banjarmasin. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes dan nontes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan aktivitas guru sebesar 35,20%, dari 51,13(cukup baik) pada siklus 1 menjadi 69,13% (baik) pada siklus II; terjadi peningkatan aktivitas siswa sebesar 41,19%, dari 47,13% (cukup aktif)  pada siklus I menjadi 88,88% (aktif) pada siklus II; keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa meningkat sebesar 27,30%; hasil belajar kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor masing-masing meningkat sebesar 23,39%, 40,43%, dan 37,62%. Kata kunci: GDL, berpikir kritis, hasil belajar

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to improve teacher motivation performance in Banjarmasin PGRI 9 Junior High School through reward and punishment methods. There are 5 parameters used to measure teacher performance improvement. This study is a School Action Research (SAR) that uses 2 cycles of activity. The study subjects were 15 subject teachers of SMP PGRI 9 Banjarmasin. The research instrument used observation sheets, questionnaires, and documentation. The data were analyzed using percentage techniques. The results of the study showed that by using the reward and punishment actions given by the school principal, there had been an increase in teacher performance in terms of (1) The duration of completion of teaching and learning in class from 70% in the first cycle to 85% in the second cycle; (2) Achieving student achievement targets, from 60% to 80%; (3) Teacher attendance on time from 60% to 86%; (4) Teacher administration completeness from 60% to 85%; and (5) The duration of teaching activities from 70% to 85%.  .Keywords: motivation, teacher performance, reward and punishment Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan motivasi kinerja guru di SMP PGRI 9 melalui metode pemberian reward dan punishment. Ada 5 (lima) parameter yang digunakan untuk mengukur peningkatan kinerja guru. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah (PTS) yang menggunakan 2 siklus kegiatan. Subyek penelitian adalah 15 orang guru mata pelajaran di SMP PGRI 9 Banjarmasin. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis mengunakan teknik persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan tindakan reward dan punishment yang diberikan kepala sekolah telah terjadi peningkatan kinerja guru dalam hal (1) Durasi penyelesaian mengajar KBM dikelas dari 70% pada siklus pertama menjadi 85% pada siklus kedua; (2) Pencapaian target prestasi siswa, dari 60% menjadi 80%; (3) Kehadiran guru tepat waktu dari 60% menjadi 86%; (4) Kelengkapan administrasi guru dari 60% menjadi 85%; dan (5) Durasi kegiatan mengajar dari 70% menjadi 85%.  Kata kunci: motivasi, kinerja guru, reward dan punishment

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of the jigsaw type of cooperative learning model to train the character of responsibility and improving student mathematics learning outcomes. This research type is quasi experiment with One-Group Times Series Design. The research subjects were 30 eighth grade Junior High School (SMP) students. Research data collection was carried out through tests and observations. The results of the study showed: (1) the character of student responsibility which “became a habit” of 16.67%; “had developed” by 20.00%; and “began to grow” by 63.33%, (2) the average score of student learning outcomes in the final test was 80.00 with good qualifications. Keywords: Responsibility character, jigsaw  Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw dalam membina karakter tanggung jawab dan meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperiment dengan One-Group Times Series Desain. Subjek penelitian merupakan siswa kelas VIII SMP yang berjumlah 30 orang. Pengumpulan data penelitian dilaksanakan melalui tes dan observasi. Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study is to describe the ability of students to develop various learning media. This study uses a descriptive approach. The subject of this study were students of Social Studies Education Study Program of Lambung Mangkurat University. The research instrument used observation sheets in the form of a checklist and documentation. The results showed that the ability of students to develop various social studies learning media is good. The learning media developed were dominated by power point media (25%), videos (24%), and images (23%). Keywords: learning media Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menggunakan berbagai media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial Universitas Lambung Mangkurat. Intrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar pengamatan dalam bentuk check list dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan mahasiswa mengembangkan berbagai media pembelajaran IPS sudah baik. Abstract

Abstract. The control of the learning material needs to be supported by the availability of learning resources, media, learning tools, and selection of strategy accuracy. Direct interaction in the field can provide real experiences, motivate and enhance students' knowledge. Learning the concept of aves in the Vertebrate Zoology course still contains a small local material of wetland. The aim is to describe the validity of the field guide and activities of students for using the field guide. The field guide was developed based on the results of the study and validated by experts. The level of readability is tested, while practicality is seen from their activity. The validity of the field guide is very valid, while the readability test is very good. Products of field guides have been made interestingly, easily, and be able to be used by students. Keywords: validity, practicality, field guide, bird, vertebrate zoology Abstrak. Penguasaan materi perlu didukung ketersediaan sumber belajar, media, perangkat pembelajaran, dan pemilihan ketepatan strategi. Interaksi langsung di lapangan dapat memberikan pengalaman baru dan nyata, memotivasi dan meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta didik. Pembelajaran konsep aves pada matakuliah Zoologi Vertebrata yang dilakukan selama ini masih sedikit memuat materi lokal berbasis lahan basah. Tujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan validitas panduan lapangan hasil pengembangan dan aktivitas peserta didik dalam menggunakannya. Panduan lapangan dikembangkan berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan divalidasi ahli. Tingkat keterbacaan diuji oleh peserta didik, sedangkan kepraktisan dilihat dari aktivitas dalam penggunaan. Validitas panduan lapangan termasuk sangat valid, sedangkan uji keterbacaan sangat baik. Produk pengembangan telah dibuat menarik, mudah dipahami dan digunakan peserta didik. Kata kunci: validitas, kepraktisan, panduan lapangan, burung, zoologi vertebrata

Abstract

Abstract. This research is to see the implementation of Hangaroo Game and Word Jumble to build the students’ vocabulary mastery. The method used is quasi-experimental research. There were students of SMP Negeri 9 Banjarmasin as the sample. As the result, the students from both classes had limited comprehension on vocabulary proven by the students’ score of pre-test. The class of experimental yielded the mean score of 20,19. The mean score was 17,29. The final result of the research was determined after the researcher had acquired the t-test result. It is found that there was no difference of students’ vocabulary mastery taught using Hangaroo Game and students taught using Word Jumble. For further research, it is hoped to be more curious and innovative to choose other media that can be used to aid the students’ vocabulary mastery. Keywords: score, Hangaroo Game, Word Jumble, vocabulary, vocabulary mastery, Lexicogrammatical

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study is to produce a set of direct instruction models with ARCS motivation strategies and problem solving methods that are valid, practical, and effective so that it is feasible to increase students' motivation and learning outcomes. This research is a research and development using ADDIE model. The test subjects were students of class X-PMIA 2 at SMAN 3 Banjarmasin. Data collection using the instrument validation sheet learning tools, observation sheet implementation of lesson plans, learning achievement tests, and student questionnaire responses. Data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the learning tools developed were: (1) valid based on practitioner assessment and academics (2) practical based on the effectiveness of lesson plans that are categorized as good, and (3) effective N-gain of learning outcomes by 0.46 with moderate category and learning motivation of participants students are categorized as good. Keywords: Direct instruction, ARCS motivation, problem solving, learning outcomes. Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan perangkat model pengajaran langsung dengan strategi motivasi ARCS dan metode pemecahan masalah yang valid, praktis, dan efektif sehingga layak untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan menggunakan model ADDIE. Subjek uji coba adalah peserta didik kelas X-PMIA 2 di SMAN 3 Banjarmasin. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen lembar validasi perangkat pembelajaran, lembar pengamatan keterlaksanaan RPP, tes hasil belajar, dan angket respon peserta didik. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan: (1) valid berdasarkan penilaian praktisi dan akedemisi (2) praktis berdasarkan keterlaksnaan RPP yang berkategori baik, dan (3) efektif N-gain hasil belajar sebesar 0,46 dengan kategori sedang dan motivasi belajar peserta didik yang berkategori baik. Kata Kunci: Pengajaran langsung, motivasi ARCS, pemecahan masalah, hasil belajar
