This study aims to explore and determine how BAZNAS’s startegy in empowering the economy of the poor through productive zakat in Malili Subsdistrict, East Luwu Regency. This study has two research questions, namely: 1) The implementation of of productive zakat programs through the economic empowerment of the poor ini Malili Subsdistrict, East Luwu Regency. 2). The impact of productive zakat programs run by BAZNAS’s in improving the economics independence of the poor in Malili Subsdistrict, East Luwu Regency. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with an empowerment and scienftific approach. Primary data was obtained through observation, interviews with the head of BAZNAS, two BAZNAS employees, two community leaders and six undreprivuleged people who were the beneficiaries of productiv zakat, as well asdirect documentation in the field. Secondary data was obtained through literature in the form of books, journals, internet and other reading sources related to the study. The results of this study indicate that the empowerment of the poor through productive zakat is running well in accordance with its mechanism, namely the collection of zakat from muzakki. Then, the distribution and utilization of zakat to the poor as a form of productive zakat utilization program. To be targeted for BAZNAS productive zakat, mustahik can submit a proposal or BAZNAS itself can go be seen from the increase in business capital income to the increase in the economic independence of the poor. The implications of this research are: 1) the importance of increasing assistance and training for the poor, not only by providing help but also by continuing to provide skills training so that the products sold are more dominant in the line with trends and keep up with the times. 2) The importance of BAZNAS in facilitating business development networks with broader partners. 3) Expanding the target receipients of assistance, not only to poor entrepreneurs, but also to poor widows and orphans whoo may have the potential to run a business but don’t have the capital.

The main issue of this study is how the implementation of PT CLM's community development and empowerment program (PPM) based on local wisdom can improve community independence in East Luwu Regency. This study has two research questions: 1) How does local wisdom support the success of the PPM program implemented by PT CLM in East Luwu Regency? 2) What are PT CLM's strategies for implementing local wisdom to increase economic independence through the PPM program in East Luwu Regency? This study uses descriptive qualitative research with a community empowerment approach, which emphasizes active community participation and the utilization of local potential as the foundation for economic development. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation techniques, with data sources including PT CLM PPM managers, Rumah Coklat managers, and Laskap Village officials. The results of this study indicate that the Community Development and Empowerment (PPM) program, particularly Rumah Coklat, is able to utilize local wisdom in the form of cocoa farming traditions, mutual cooperation values, and the community's generational knowledge of cocoa management. The integration of these local potentials encourages an increase in product added value, opens up business opportunities, and strengthens the community's capacity to manage businesses independently. The strategies implemented by PT CLM include training, technical assistance, provision of processing facilities, and continuous collaboration with the local community. The conclusion of this study confirms that the implementation of PPM based on local wisdom by PT CLM has contributed positively to improving the economic independence of the Laskap Village community through strengthening production capacity, increasing knowledge, and developing cocoa-based businesses. The implications of this research indicate that the development of community empowerment programs based on local wisdom can be a model for sustainable empowerment, strengthening community economic resilience, and emphasizing the importance of collaboration between companies, communities, and governments in development practices based on local potential.

The main issue in this research is to examine the form of women's empowerment for silk sarong weavers in Tammejarra Village and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in the empowerment process. The research questions raised in this study are: (1) What is the form of empowerment for women silk sarong weavers? and (2) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors of the empowerment process?. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method, located in Tammejarra Village, Balanipa Subdistrict, Polewali Mandar Regency, and employs a sociological approach. The data sources consist of both primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation with silk sarong weavers, community leaders, and relevant institutions. Data analysis was carried out through three stages: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study are: (1) Skills enhancement, through weaving training and the introduction of traditional Mandar motifs; (2) Economic empowerment, through the provision of tools and materials, the formation of joint business groups, and access to marketing; and (3) Social empowerment, which includes strengthening solidarity, participation in village deliberations, and the preservation of Mandar cultural identity. The supporting factors include: a) The inheritance of weaving skills passed down through generations; b) Support from the village government and relevant agencies; and c) The high cultural value attached to Mandar silk sarongs. The challenges faced include: a) Limited availability of raw materials; b) Lack of advanced training; c) Limited access to modern markets; and d) Low interest among the younger generation in continuing the weaving tradition. Therefore, continuous collaboration between the government, community, and private sector is needed to promote inclusive, sustainable, and community-based empowerment.

This study aims to examine the forms, processes, and impacts of community empowerment through the processing of sugarcane into granulated sugar in Palleko Village, North Polongbangkeng District, Gowa Regency. In this context, community empowerment is a crucial approach to promoting economic independence based on local potential, particularly in the agro-industrial sector. This research begins with the phenomenon of local communities utilizing sugarcane, which they independently process into a higher-value product, namely granulated sugar. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Informants in the study included community leaders, sugarcane managers, village officials, and empowerment facilitators. The data obtained were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques to fully understand the social and economic dynamics generated by the empowerment activities. The results indicate that the community empowerment program through sugarcane management has a significant impact on increasing household income, strengthening production capacity, and fostering collective awareness for independent entrepreneurship. The empowerment process involved technical training, access to simple capital, and the formation of working groups facilitated by the village and local community leaders. However, this empowerment process still faces several challenges, including limited modern production equipment, unstable market access, and weak business management within community groups. Nevertheless, the spirit of mutual cooperation and active community participation are key strengths supporting the sustainability of this program. Therefore, this study recommends the need for continued support from local governments, increased local institutional capacity, and cross-sector collaboration to strengthen the local sugar product value chain. This kind of local resource-based community empowerment can be an effective model for sustainably strengthening the micro-economy and social resilience of rural communities.

This study aims to determine how the village government's efforts in community empowerment through cow's milk processing in Pinang village, Cendana sub-district, Enrekang district. The main focus of the research is the efforts made by the Pinang Village Government and the impact (results) of the community empowerment program through cow's milk processing. This research will explore how the strategy and implementation of the village program contribute to improving the knowledge, skills, and economic and social welfare of the community. This research uses a qualitative approach with observation, interview, and documentation. The Pinang Village Government empowers the community through cow's milk processing with seminars, training, and ongoing mentoring, supported by infrastructure and equipment assistance. This effort aims to increase the community's knowledge and skills in producing cow's milk to the maximum and marketing it. As a result, the program succeeded in improving the community's economy, creating new sources of income, and encouraging business sustainability and food security.

The main research question in this study is how single parents maintain family economic resilience through their home businesses and how they empower the community. The sub-questions in this study are: 1) What steps do single parents take to meet their families' economic needs in Polewali Village, Gantarang District, Bulukumba Regency? 2) What is the impact of a home business (Citra Bakery) run by a single parent on family empowerment in Polewali Village, Gantarang District, Bulukumba Regency? The purpose of this study is to determine the role of single parents in maintaining economic resilience through a home business (Citra Bakery) in Polewali Village, Gantarang District, Bulukumba Regency, and to determine the impact of a home business (Citra Bakery) run by a single parent on family economic empowerment in Polewali Village, Gantarang District, Bulukumba Regency. This study uses a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach. The data sources in this study are the home business owner and employees of the home business (Citra Bakery). Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data management techniques involve processing and analyzing collected data, editing the data, and clarifying its accuracy. The results of this study indicate that the steps taken by single parents are: 1) improving skills or self-potential, 2) building emotional resilience, 3) encouraging economic independence through home-based businesses, and 4) building relationships to gain economic support. The impacts of these businesses are: 1) economic empowerment, 2) skills empowerment, 3) independence empowerment, and 4) social empowerment. The implications of this research are: 1) business owners and employees are expected to continue developing skills, expanding relationships, and managing income independently to improve family stability. 2) business owners and employees are expected to maintain emotional resilience in facing the challenges of business and daily life

Problems in this research are: 1) How are the Islamic values integrated by An-Nadzir Muslim women in modern life? 2) What is the role of An-Nadzir Muslim women in modern society? 3) What are the challenges faced by An-Nadzir Muslim women in the era of modernity? The purpose of this research is to find out the Islamic values integrated by An-Nadzir Muslim women in modern life, to find out the role of An- Nadzir Muslim women in modern society and to find out what challenges faced by An- Nadzir Muslim women in the era of modernity. This study employed a qualitative approach, employing an ethnographic approach. The data source was the An-Nadzir Muslim women. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data collection techniques included data reduction, data presentation, verification, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the values integrated by An-Nadzir Muslim women in modern life are 1) Simplicity 2) Maintaining Awrah 3) Avoiding Riya, the role of An-Nadzir Muslim women in modern society is 1) Cultural role 2) Economic role 3) Spiritual role, and the challenges faced by An-Nadzir Muslim women in the era of modernity are 1) Negative stereotypes from outside society 2) Slow shift in values. The implications of the research are: 1) It is hoped that the An-Nadzir community will maintain their identity amidst the global current. 2) It is hoped that the local government will support education and basic services for the An-Nadzir community, especially for women. 3) It is hoped that further researchers will expand the scope by examining it more deeply from other dimensions. 4) It is hoped that the general public will be more open and fair in viewing the An-Nadzir Islamic Group.

This study raises the main problem of the Role of Government in Supporting the Welfare of Farming Communities in Lamoncong Village, Bontocani District, Bone Regency with the aim of knowing how the description of the welfare of farming communities in Lamoncong Village, Bontocani District, Bone Regency Based on the Perspective of Law Number 11 of 2009 concerning welfare and how government policies in improving the welfare of farmers in Lamoncong Village, Bontocani District, Bone Regency. This study uses a qualitative research type with data collection methods in the form of direct observation, interviews, documentation, then data processing techniques and data analysis are carried out by collecting data, word reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that how the description of the welfare of farming communities based on the perspective of Law Number 11 of 2009 concerning welfare is carried out with indicators of economic welfare, social welfare indicators, indicators of welfare and education, as well as the level of social participation and how government policies in improving the welfare of farmers are carried out with access to religious education in improving welfare, access to health in improving welfare, infrastructure in improving welfare, as well as synergy of access to religious education, health and infrastructure. The implications of this study show that the active role of the government in supporting the welfare of the farming community in Lamoncong Village has a significant impact on improving the standard of living of farmers.
