Abstract

This scientific work aims to find out the picture of parenting that is applied by parents to children, to know the description of children's learning achievement, as well as knowing differences in learning achievements based on parenting parents. By understanding the existing development, it is expected that parents as the first and foremost teacher for children can improve parenting according to development and see the child's ability to learn. The research method in this scientific work uses the post facto research method. With an understanding that this research is done by examining an event that has occurred and then reviewing the factors that cause these events. Based on research through library studies, shows that children's learning achievement by using democratic parenting is the most appropriate and very dominant so that an increase in learning according to his ability, it can be concluded that the right parenting according to developments in this era of disruption is not something that hinders the improvement of children's learning However, it should be an opportunity to continue to guide and motivate children to learn to take advantage of the situation, and to process it according to the knowledge and knowledge they learn, because of differences in children's learning achievement based on parental care that looks like (authoritarian parenting, democratic parenting and patterns permissive foster), is very influential and achievements are expected to be answered according to learning objectives. Abstract

This research intends to see of to what extend is the responsibility of religious education teacher in implementation of Christ’ personal into students themselves at grade XII of PMIA SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar at academic year 2019/2020. The number of subjects is sixty students. This research applies descriptive method, while data analysis which is done in this hypothesis is product moment correlation of Pearson. The instrument which is used to collect the data is questionnaires for variable X (Responsibility of religious education teacher) and Variable Y (Christ’s personality belonged to the students). To know the extent of religious education teacher in implementation of Christ’s personality into students themselves, statistic test of correlation product moment Pearson is used. The test result show correlation ®0,5068 with determination test is 25,68% and to know whether significant or not correlation at the real level = 0,05 so “t”test is done with the criteria of testing if tcount which is gained greater than (>) from ttabel at the significant level of 1 – 0,05 with dk = n – 2 so hypothesisis accepted and in other side is rejected. From the result of testing is gained tcount > ttable ( 4,59 > 1,67 ), so hypothesis is accepted. This condition can be concluded that religious education teacher has responsibility in implementation of Christ’s personality into studntes themselves at Grade XII PMIA of SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar at academic 2019/2020. Abstract

Undergraduate thesis guidance is one of the most difficult times that all students who wish to complete their studies at college have to go through. The difficulties faced by students include students not writing clearly suggestions from the supervisor, irregular meeting times, and lack of motivation in completing theses. Qualitative descriptive research aims to describe the benefits of using the development book of undergraduate thesis consultant in solving the guidance problems that occur in students. This research was conducted for 6 weeks during basic training activities in the Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD) study program. This research was conducted on 144 students who were conducting undergraduate thesis guidance activities by taking 3 students as research subjects. The data collection technique was done by interviewing. The results of this study indicate that the use of the development book of undergraduate thesis consultant can help students in writing clearly suggestions for improvement, the scheduling of the counseling meeting, and increasing student motivation in completing the undergraduate thesis.

Abstract

This study aims to make observations about the pseudo thinking process in mathematics education students before taking the Basic Statistics course. The method used in this study uses qualitative research methods in the form of case studies in five second semester students. In this study it was found that the five students experienced pseudo thinking. Three of them experienced true pseudo thinking and two of them experienced true pseudo thinking at the beginning but through instructions could find the correct concept. Students who experience true pseudo thinking process are still able to work on the given problem but are unable to understand the concept so that they are unable to implement the use of the material learned in different case examples including in everyday life. This is caused by many factors including, the understanding of concepts that are true and intact, teaching methods and making questions that support the occurrence of pseudo thinking processes. Abstract

Adolescence is a period of transition from children to adulthood. Youth life is a life that is very decisive for their future life. Adolescence is also known as the search for self-identity. Along with its development, there is a desire to socialize and getting to know other people more intensively. Desiring to get along with other people is manifested in the form of peers. Peer groups are the first social environment when adolescents learn to live together with other people who are not family members. Peer characteristics have the same age level, the same actions or behavior, and tend to have the same habits. Peer interaction can help and influence each other. In a phase like this, Christian religious education is very strategic to be instilled in adolescents through the role of peers. Basically, the principles and functions of peers have a strong carrying capacity in applying Christian values ​​to shape the religious character of adolescents. Christian religious education also emphasizes that the barometer of peers is a human consciousness to choose and to have good friends who can strengthen faith. Abstract

Self-esteem is the whole method used to evaluate ourselves, where there is a comparison between ideal-self and real-self. Researchers have carried out strategies for developing self-esteem, but research on increasing self-esteem through creative counseling has not been found. The purpose of this study was to find (1) the profile level of students' self-esteem; (2) Description of the effectiveness of Creative Counseling (Proops) through the SFBC (Solution-Focused Brief Counseling) Approach to Increase Students' Self-Esteem. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to get a picture of the increase in creative thinking skill of students who get science learning with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics). This research was conducted at Junior High School YWPM Jakarta semester 2020/2021. This type of research is a quasi experiment with the research design used one group pretest posttest group design. The sample in this study amounted to 30 students classs VIII. The instrument used was a test of creative thinking skill for subject matter simple machine an essay test of 10 questions. The aspects of creative thinking skill studied consisted of aspects of fluency, flexibility, originality and elaboration. The results showed the students' creative thinking skill increased by 0.57 in the medium category. For the 4 aspects of reasoning ability studied, there was an increase in the fluency aspect by 46%, the flexibility aspect by 64%, the originality aspect by 87% and the elaboration aspect by 78%. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze whether there are factors that are interrelated with the employment rate of high school graduates during the Covid-19 pandemic. These factors include ability factors, academic factors, and needs factors. This study uses a quantitative exploratory research method. The population in this study were students of class XII SMKN Putra Nasional Cibodas Lembang with a sample of 20 students. Data analysis was performed by statistical analysis test t-paired test. From the results of data analysis, it was found that: 1) academic factors were not related to ability factors, 2) academic factors were not related to needs, and 3) ability factors were not related to needs factors. The conclusion of this study is that because tcount <ttable, there is no significant difference between these unrelated factors and the job absorption rate. Abstract

In the era of the COVID-19 pandemic, all teaching and learning activities were carried out online. Various difficulties faced by the teacher in delivering material in learning, especially in biology which there are science process skills. Therefore, this research was conducted to make a product and test the feasibility of a biology learning module based on science process skills on the circulatory system by collecting data in the form of a questionnaire. In this development research using ADDIE model. The result of the questionnaire on the analysis of media needs, material experts, and users, namely teachers and students, were analyzed quantitatively. Based on the result of the assessment by material expert and media expert that the biology learning module based on science process skills on the circulatory system material is valid. Then based on the assessment by practitional expert, the module is quite valid. Then based on the student response, it was found that the biology learning module based on science process skills on the circulatory system material is valid, feasible, and very interesting. Abstract

This paper is the result of research on the Samin Community Education Model in Ngawen Hamlet, Sukolilo, Pati. They do not send their children to formal schools. Their decision not to send their children to formal schools was motivated by the history of the Samin Suronsentiko movement against Dutch colonialism. In their collective memory, there is a memory that the Dutch are smart but their intelligence is used to fool others. Another reason why they do not send their children to formal schools is that there is an obligation for their children to attend lessons in other religions that are not their beliefs. How does the education of the Samin community compare to Romo Mangun's vision of true learning that is liberating and contextual, not limited by time and space and is carried out throughout life. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The main data collection techniques are carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, secondary data collection is done through literature study. From the results of research and comparative studies, it is found that the education model of the life of the Samin community that is independent of time and space, although very simple, is in some way consistent with Romo Mangun Wijaya's educational vision.
