Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of describing the dilemmas and problems in the implementation of online learning. In this increasingly technological and sophisticated era, technology is very useful in its use in all aspects of life. The use of this technology also has an important role in the educational aspect. The existence of the Covid-19 pandemic period made the learning implementation system changed into virtual face-to-face learning or online learning which was originally carried out face-to-face between students and teachers at school. Like it or not, students must understand and have the ability to use technology to optimally follow this online learning system. In the implementation of this online learning there are various problems that occur and are faced by educators, students, and parents in various matters such as readiness in implementation, facilities, and various other things. This research uses literature study method. This method is done by finding and collecting various data and information about the research discussed by searching from various sources such as books, journals, and other media that can be accessed and relevant to the research discussion. In this research, it can show how the implementation of online learning, the problems that occur in the implementation of online learning, and the problems faced by students, teachers, and parents in the process of implementing online learning.

Abstract

Increasing interest in teaching will have an impact on increasing students' interest in learning. Educators' interest as subjects and objects in the learning process is the key to success in achieving educational goals. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between classroom management and educators' emotional intelligence on increasing interest in teaching. There were 75 samples randomly selected from 79 educators at Saint Peter using the Hair et al. Method, from the number of indicators x 5. The method used was descriptive. quantitative. Data obtained from filling out a questionnaire of 20 statements from each variable, namely the class management variable (X1) there are 5 indicators, the teacher's emotional intelligence variable (X2) has 5 indicators, the teaching interest variable (Y) has 5 indicators. Data analysis techniques using simple correlation and multiple correlation. In the first hypothesis the results indicate a positive and significant relationship between class management and interest in teaching with a correlation coefficient of ry1 = 0.824 with a regression model Ŷ = 8,202 + 0.824 X1, tcount 15,354 is greater than t table = 1.992 and the coefficient of determination (R2) = 0.764 . The second hypothesis shows that there is a positive and significant relationship between the emotional intelligence of educators and the interest in teaching with the correlation coefficient ry2 = 0.443 with a regression model Ŷ = 31.691 + 0.443 X2, tcount 6.434 is greater than t table = 1.992 and the coefficient of determination (R2) = 0.362. The third hypothesis shows that there is a positive and significant relationship between classroom management and educators' emotional intelligence on teaching interest with a correlation coefficient of ry 1.2 = 0.823 with a regression model Ŷ = 6.817 + 0.758X1 + 0.086 X2, Fcount 122.082 is greater than Ftable = 3.124. Thus the classroom management and emotional intelligence variables of educators have a strong influence on increasing interest in teaching by 76.6% while the remaining 23.4% is influenced by other variables outside the research. Abstract

Motivasi berprestasi dan skala penilaian mempengaruhi prestasi akademik mahasiswa. Semakin tinggi motivasi berprestasi seseorang, maka semakin tinggi prestasi akademiknya, dan semakin tepat skala penilaian ditetapkan dan digunakan untuk mengukur prestasi akademik mahasiswa, semakin tinggi motivasi berprestasi mahasiswa. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis motivasi berprestasi mahasiswa dan skala penilaian yang digunakan oleh program studi MPAK UKI angkatan 2018 dan 2019. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode campuran (mixed method) atau kombinasi penelitian kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Dalam mengumpulkan data, penulis menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan kualitatif deskriptif. Hasilnya adalah motivasi berprestasi mahasiswa di Program Studi MPAK UKI angkatan 2018 dan 2019 adalah sangat tinggi, yang dipengaruhi oleh cita-cita, iman pada Tuhan, kesadaran diri, dukungan lingkungan, fasilitas belajar, dan profesionalisme dosen. Dengan mengetahui hal ini, Prodi dapat terus meningkatkan layanan akademis dengan berfokus pada pencapaian pembelajaran sesuai dengan profil yang ditetapkan. Tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap skala penilaian yang digunakan Prodi MPAK UKI adalah sangat tinggi. Hal ini sangat penting diketahui agar motivasi berprestasi dan prestasi akademik mahasiswa dapat ditingkatkan. Kata Kunci: analisis; motivasi berprestasi; skala penilaian

Abstract

Evaluation is needed for physical education lectures at IAIN Salatiga. The purpose of this study is the performance education of physical education lecturers at IAIN Salatiga on pedagogical, professional, personality, and social competencies. This research method is descriptive quantitative research with a survey approach using an online questionnaire. The population of this study was IAIN Salatiga students who attended physical education lectures in the odd semester of 2020/2021. The sample of this study was 114 students who were selected using the simple random sampling technique. The results showed that the level of pedagogical competence of physical education lecturers at IAIN Salatiga in the excellent category was 34.2%, 61.4% good, and 4.4% sufficient. For professional competence in the excellent category, the number was 39.5%, 53.5% good, and 7.0% sufficient. Furthermore, personality competence in the excellent category was 25.4%, 65.8% good, and 8.8% sufficient. As for the social competence in the excellent category was 18.4%, 72.8% good, and 8.8% sufficient. This research concludes that physical education lecturers at IAIN Salatiga are in good categories for pedagogical, professional, personality, and social competencies with a mean value of 63.38%. The suggestion of this research is that physical education lecturers at IAIN Salatiga always improve their performance in teaching.

Abstract

Abstract: Quality education can provide many benefits if implemented properly. To ensure the implementation of quality national education, in 2016 Indonesia began implementing a teacher and community empowerment program through KIAT Guru. The implementation of the KIAT program was not comprehensive in Indonesia, West Kalimantan and East Nusa Tenggara Provinces were chosen as the KIAT Guru working areas for the 2016-2019 period and have been extended to over the next several years. Using survey and literature methods, this paper aims to see the implementation of KIAT Guru in Golo Terong Catholic elementary schools. In general, the implementation has followed the design that has been developed although there are weaknesses that need to be fixed so that it can be implemented properly in the future. Now there are four fundamental changes to the implementation of KIAT Guru after the Covid-19 Pandemic but they can be overcome with a good work system arrangement. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis alasan mengapa mahasiswa PGSD FKIP Universitas Muria Kudus tetap saja merokok, padahal mereka sudah melihat bahaya merokok yang terdapat pada setiap kemasan rokok dan mendeskripsikan persepsi mahasiswa perokok PGSD FKIP Universitas Muria Kudus mengenai gambar peringatan bahaya merokok yang terdapat pada setiap kemasan rokok. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deksriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di gedung L PGSD Universitas Muria Kudus, dengan mengambil informan penelitian mahasiswa PGSD yang merokok dari semester 3, semester 5, dan semester 7. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi terus terang atau tersamar, wawancara terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Peneliti menggunakan analisis data tahapan persepsi Alo Liliweri yaitu stimulation, organization, interpretation dan evaluation, memory, dan recall. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa informan mengetahui dengan jelas peringatan yang terdapat pada kemasan rokok, serta memahami makna yang terkandung dalam peringatan bahaya rokok, akan tetapi para mahasiswa perokok mengiraukan peringatan bahaya tersebut. Karena mereka belum benar-benar melihat secara nyata orang yang terkena penyakit akibat merokok, apabila yang ditampilkan hanya gambar saja maka para mahasiswa menyepelekan gambar tersebut dan beranggapan bahwa gambar tersebut terlalu mengada-ngada dan hanya menakut-nakuti para perokok. Alasan mereka tetap saja merokok karena merokok sudah menjadi kebiasaan dan kebutuhan bagi mereka.

Abstract

This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method. Sampling was carried out by total sampling technique, where 23 students class IX-A as the experimental class and class IX-B as many as 20 as the control class. The instrument used was a learning outcome test. The design of this study used a nonequivalent control group design. The research data were analyzed using the variant test to test homogeneity, and the t test to test the hypothesis. The t test results obtained tcount = 2.2933 while the price ttable = 2.01954. Because -2.01954 <tcount <2.01954, which means reject Ho and accept Ha. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive effect of using the Student Facilitator and Explaining learning model on the learning outcomes of class IX students of SMP Negeri 2 Amandraya..

Abstract

This research aims to see whether web-based learning using Google Classroom is effective on the learning outcomes of class X SMA. This type of research conducted in this research is descriptive research. The population in the study are 90 person. From this population, the sample were 30 person which has the same cognitive abilities. Data collection techniques used were tests and observation sheets. Based on the results of research and data processing, the conclusion is that web-based learning using Google Classroom is effective on the learning outcomes of class X SMA

Abstract

The principal has an important role in improving the performance of his teachers. The results of preliminary observations found that principals are authoritarian by making decisions without involving teachers. Gives a bad impression to subordinates who later builds a culture that affects the teacher's performance. This type of research is quantitative using a survey method with a correlation approach, related to the purpose for"examining the influence of the principal's leadership style and organizational culture on teacher performance in junior high schools in Nias"West. Teachers of State Junior High Schools in West Nias which constitute the study population by taking a sample of certified teachers spread across 38 schools. The influence of the principal's leadership style on teacher performance based on the results of the study was 17.5%, the influence of organizational culture on teacher performance was 16% and the influence of the principal's leadership style and organizational culture on teacher performance was 20.6%. for other reasons.

Abstract

Salah satu sensor utama yang terdapat dalam sebuah telepon adalah microphon, pada smartphone android dengan menggunakan aplikasi tertentu dengan memanfaatkan microphone maka dapat digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat kebisingan. Pada penelitian ini sebuah smartphone android digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat kebisingan di Lingkungan Kantin Universitas Kristen Indonesia dengan lima macam aplikasi pengukur tingkat kebisingan. Praktikum pengukuran tingkat kebisingan ini merupakan bagian dari matakuliah Fisika Gelombang khususnya pada materi gelombang bunyi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa tingkat kebisingan pada kantin UKI pada saat dilakukan penelitian berkisar antara 50 dB hingga 55 dB.
