Abstract

The proposed hypothesis is: How is the activeness and ability to read in Indonesian subjects for Class I students in SD Negeri 060886 Medan 2017/2018 academic year. This classroom action research was conducted in two cycles by using Kurt Lewin's model that consists of four components, namely: planning, action/action, observation and reflection. The results of the study concluded that student learning outcomes in reading in Indonesian subjects were: The average value of student interest when working on LKS in the Pre-Cycle was 47.83; then in the 1st cycle increased into 67.83 and then increased again to 97.39 in the 2nd cycle. The average value of student interest at the time of LKS Discussion in the Pre-Cycle is 42.61; then in the 1st cycle increased into 72.17 and then increased again into 93.91 in the 2nd cycle. The average value of students' interest during the discussion in the Pre-Cycle is 44.35; then in the 1st cycle increased into 74.78 and then increased again into 92.17 in the 2nd cycle. The average value of student interest at the time of evaluation in the pre-cycle is 45.22; then in the 1st cycle increased into 73.04 and then increased into 96.52 in the 2nd cycle. The average value of the learning evaluation results in the pre-cycle is 62.61; then in the 1st cycle increased into 72.68 and then increased into 92.03 in the 2nd cycle. According the results, it can be concluded that growing interest in reading can improve the Indonesian language skills toward the class I SD Negeri 060886 Medan.

Abstract

The teaching and learning process of teachers plays an important role in the world of education and creates a smart generation in the next generation. Currently, many teachers are not innovating in the world of education and only teach with conventional methods which make students not enjoy the learning that is implemented. Many teachers only do learning in class. The teaching process in formal schools is experiencing saturation. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative research with a case study design. The data of this research is primary data which is the main data needed in this research, namely data obtained directly in the field, including data and information obtained from interviews conducted with principals, classroom teachers, and students, written data or documentation in the form of pictures/photos, learning outcomes, other literature related to the problem to be studied. The outing class that has been implemented for 3 years since the history teacher became a history teacher at Madrasah Tahfizhil Qur'an because he himself had applied it to the previous school. Outing class activities are still carried out despite changes to the curriculum in recent years. Madrasah Aliyah Tahfizhil Qur'an has changed its curriculum from the Education Unit Level Curriculum (KTSP) to the 2013 Curriculum. History learning is a process to help develop the potential and personality of students through messages. historical message to become wise and dignified citizens of the nation. History in this case is the totality of human activities in the past and is dynamic. The form of outing class learning is in the form of delivering material at the Avros plantation museum. The application of the outing class method itself has been scheduled in the Madrasah Aliyah Tahfizhil Qur'an education calendar, the process stages of which are planning, implementation, and evaluation. The benefit of outing class is that students will learn in real time, be able to interact with other people, and become students' learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in science learning outcomes by using a jigsaw cooperative type in science practicum courses in class II F. This research was conducted in an elementary school with a total of 21 students. This research is very necessary in applying the jigsaw type cooperative approach to science practicum courses. The data obtained include, tests and observation sheets. This classroom action research consists of two cycles. Each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting, based on the results of research students are given a test of 10 questions. From the results of the initial test, it can be seen that the ability of students to master hibernation material on earthworms in the Science Practicum course is still low, with an average score of 43.3. Of the 21 students there were (28.6%) or 6 students who got complete learning outcomes and (66.7%) or 14 students were in the incomplete or unsuccessful category. From the results of the first cycle of research, it can be seen that the ability of students to master hibernation material on earthworms is still low, with an average value of 62.9. Of the 21 students, there were (57.1%%) or 12 students who got complete learning outcomes and (42.7%) or 9 students were in the incomplete or unsuccessful category. From the results of the second cycle of research, it can be seen that the ability of students to master hibernation material on earthworms has improved better, with an average value of 71.9. Of the 21 students, there were (71.4%) or 15 students who got complete learning outcomes and (28.6%) or 6 students were in the incomplete or unsuccessful category on the subject of science. There was an increase in the assessment in cycle II above the KKM value of 70.

Abstract

With the help of the problem-based learning methodology applied to block content in class VIII SMP N 1 Bandar, the goal of this study is to ascertain if students' mathematical communication abilities have improved. Students in class VIII at SMP N 1 Bandar served as the research participants, and the problem-based learning paradigm was the study's focus. With a sample of 27 students in class VIII-4 SMP, classroom action research (CAR) was the methodology used. The block's surface area and volume were assessed during two cycles of this study's execution. In cycle I, there were 8 students who finished their education with a completion rate of 29.62%, while there were 19 students who did not, with a completion rate of 70.37%.  Students who passed cycle II had 21 students with a percentage of 77.78%, whereas those who had not finished had 6 students with a percentage of 22.22%. These students had improved their mathematical learning outcomes on the surface area and volume of blocks. Thus, it may be argued that the entire class can be considered finished.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui skor hasil belajar fisika siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe teams games tournament (TGT) berbantuan media powerpoint dan skor hasil belajar fisika siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung serta mengetahui adanya pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar fisika dengan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe teams games tournment (TGT) terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi usaha dan energi di kelas X SMAS Al-Manar Medan tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu peneltian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X IPA SMAS Al-Manar Medan yang terdiri dari 4 kelas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara random sampling (acak) dengan jumlah sampel penelitian 2 kelas yaitu X-IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen berjumlah 33 orang dan X-IPA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol berjumlah 33 orang. Tes hsil belajar 30 item berbentuk pilihan berganda dengan 4 alternatif jawaban dan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji t. Dari analisis data diperoleh skor rata-rata kelas eksperimen sebesar 22,03 dengan standar devisiasi 6,14 dan skor rata-rata kelas kontrol sebesar 18,30 dengan standar devisiasi 7,95. Pada uji normalitas untuk kelas eksperimen diperoleh  Lhitung Ltabel = 0,109 0,154 dan pada kelas kontrol Lhitung Ltabel = 0,152 0,154 maka kedua kelas tersebut memiliki data berdistribusi normal. Pada uji homogenitas data kedua sampel diperoleh 𝐹ℎ𝑖𝑡𝑢𝑛𝑔≤ 𝐹𝑡𝑎𝑏𝑒𝑙= 1,131 5,05 maka kedua sampel berasal dari sampel yang homogen. Hasil uji t diperoleh thitung ttabel =  2,133 1,997 sehingga Ha diterima. Dengan demikian penelitian ini menunjukkan ada pengaruh yang sigtnifikan pada model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe teams games tournament (TGT) dengan media powerpoint terhadap hasil belajar fisika siswa di SMAS Al-Manar Medan.

Abstract

In class XI at SMA Al-Ulum Medan, the goal of this study is to ascertain whether students' understanding of mathematical topics has improved as a result of employing a problem-based learning approach. Students of SMA Al-Ulum Medan's class XI served as the research's subjects, and the problem-based learning paradigm was the study's focus. PTK was the methodology utilized with a sample of 35 class XI students from Al-Ulum Medan Private High School. The Two-Variable Linear Inequality and the Two-Variable Linear Inequality System were examined during the two cycles of this study.  In the first cycle of learning, there were 15 students who finished with a percentage of 44.12%, and there were 20 students who did not finish with a percentage of 58.82% and an average value of 66.29. (low category). Learning in cycle II saw 14 students drop out with a percentage of 41.18% and an average score of 75.26, while 21 students completed their studies with a percentage of 61.76%. (enough category). As a result, the problem-based learning approach can help pupils better understand mathematical ideas.

Abstract

Bullying is a violent behavior both verbally and non-verbally that hurts someone or a group of people that is carried out by people who have more power and strength over other people. Of course this behavior is not good and has a bad impact on victims, but in fact this often happens in the world of education, including Islamic boarding schools. In fact, this has become a culture that is considered part of Islamic boarding school education where senior students who bully junior students even to the point of physical violence are referred to as seniority. This bullying behavior is inversely proportional to the Islamic religious sciences which form the basis of education in Islamic boarding schools where Islamic religious values that contain peace and mutual respect should be attached to the students so that it will prevent bullying. Seniority, victim grudges and the desire to be respected and want to be popular are the main factors in the emergence of bullying behavior.

Abstract

This study aimed to find out how to improve learning outcomes of Mathematics toward the Addition to Whole Numbers through the Buzz Group method by using Stick media in the first grade students of SD Negeri 060886 Medan; and how  the creativity and ability of teachers in carrying out learning in the classroom. The proposed hypothesis is: How can the learning outcomes of mathematics in the Addition of whole numbers material can be improved through the Buzz Group method with Lidi media. This classroom action research was conducted in two cycles by using the application of the Buzz Group method proposed by Dimyati and Mudjiono.The results of the study concluded that student learning outcomes in learning through the application of the Buzz Group method were students' abilities with a completeness percentage as 17.39% in the cycle I with an average score as 5.69 and 86.95% with an average score as 8,52 in cycle II, and students are very motivated and enthusiastic and cheerful, then the Teaching and Learning Activities (KBM) has been applied in good results.

Abstract

Education cannot be separated from human life, and the era of development can never be separated from human life, so that these two things become inseparable, humans will continue to move forward and develop, accompanied by education, and will also continue to move forward with the times. One of the very rapid developments of the times is in the field of technology, where with its existence it brings convenience in the world of education, which used to be done only in class and at certain hours, now by utilizing technology in the field of education to facilitate the learning process teaching, education can be done anytime and anywhere, as long as the place is accessed by an internet network. This is of course very beneficial for the world of education and brings positive paths, but behind all the goodness, the use of technology in the teaching and learning process also brings negative paths, where technology will shift the role of the main teacher in education, and also cause the focus of student learning to be shifted to things - other interesting things that exist on the internet.

Abstract

In class X students at SMA Negeri 3 Pematang Siantar, this study attempts to ascertain if the Cooperative Script learning methodology can achieve student learning outcomes in history topics. The Nonequivalent Control Group Design is the type of research design utilized in this study, which employs a quasi-experimental methodology. Tests, observation, and documentation were employed in data gathering procedures, while dependent and independent sample t-tests were utilized in data analysis approaches. 22 students from Class X Science served as the experimental class in this study, and 22 students from Class X Social Studies served as the control class. Based on the study's findings, it was discovered that the learning outcomes of the experimental class's students, who used the Cooperative Script learning model, were better than those of the control class's students, who used the traditional learning model. Thus, it can be said that class X students at SMA Negeri 3 Pematang Siantar may learn history substantially better using the Cooperative Script learning paradigm. This can be taken into account so that the school can use this learning model to enhance student learning outcomes. The approach the school can adopt is to organize routine teacher training sessions on innovative learning.
