Abstract

Pemanfaatan situs sejarah sebagai sumber belajar dimaksudkan agar pembelajaran juga memanfaatkan aspek dari lingkungan sebagai pendukung dari keberhasilan pendidikan di sekolah. Hal ini juga sangat membantu siswa dalam mengembangkan dirinya dalam suatu pembelajaran sejarah.Sebab dalam hal ini siswa akan mengalami proses pembelajaran yang lebih berorientasi pada diri mereka dan dituntut untuk memvisualisasikan imajinasi mereka yang berkaitan dengan situs sejarah sebagai sumber belajar mereka. Hal tersebut tentunya akan meningkatkan peran dan keaktifan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga diharapkan siswa akan lebih tertarik belajar sejarah dengan sumber belajar yang nyata dan lebih dekat dengan kebenaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimanapemanfaatan situs kota cina sebagai sumber pembelajaran sejarah lokal di SMA Negeri 11 Medan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data melalui studi kepustakaan serta lapangan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the results of observations regarding the implementation of club management at SMAN 1 Rupat KSN in 2021 during the Covid-19 pandemic. KSN is an abbreviation of the National Science Competition which is carried out by the National Achievement Center of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia. The selection mechanism for the implementation of KSN is carried out starting at the school, district/city, provincial, national, and international levels. In the achievement of KSN, schools located in the capital city of Riau province, Pekanbaru, and with good facilities, and inputs dominate. SMAN 1 Rupat is located on Rupat Island, precisely in Batu Panjang Village, Rupat District, Bengkalis Regency, Riau Province. This island is included in the 3T category area (Lagged, Foremost, and Outermost) which is directly opposite the Malaysian state and is a challenge in itself in the achievement of KSN. The research used is descriptive qualitative research. Data was collected by interview, literature study, document analysis and observation. The results of the study indicate that the management of the principal and students is the main key to achieving the best results in the midst of limited school facilities and infrastructure and Rupat as a 3T area.

Abstract

The teaching and learning process of teachers plays an important role in the world of education and creates a smart generation in the next generation. Currently, many teachers are not innovating in the world of education and only teach with conventional methods which make students not enjoy the learning that is implemented. Many teachers only do learning in class. The teaching process in formal schools is experiencing saturation. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative research with a case study design. The data of this research is primary data which is the main data needed in this research, namely data obtained directly in the field, including data and information obtained from interviews conducted with principals, classroom teachers, and students, written data or documentation in the form of pictures/photos, learning outcomes, other literature related to the problem to be studied. The outing class that has been implemented for 3 years since the history teacher became a history teacher at Madrasah Tahfizhil Qur'an because he himself had applied it to the previous school. Outing class activities are still carried out despite changes to the curriculum in recent years. Madrasah Aliyah Tahfizhil Qur'an has changed its curriculum from the Education Unit Level Curriculum (KTSP) to the 2013 Curriculum. History learning is a process to help develop the potential and personality of students through messages. historical message to become wise and dignified citizens of the nation. History in this case is the totality of human activities in the past and is dynamic. The form of outing class learning is in the form of delivering material at the Avros plantation museum. The application of the outing class method itself has been scheduled in the Madrasah Aliyah Tahfizhil Qur'an education calendar, the process stages of which are planning, implementation, and evaluation. The benefit of outing class is that students will learn in real time, be able to interact with other people, and become students' learning motivation.

Abstract

The post-conflict recovery effort in Ambon, Maluku, which was the largest civil conflict after the collapse of the New Order, was not only needed by the survivors of the conflict. But also by the generation that did not experience the bloody conflict. Like students in SMPN 9 Ambon City and SMPN 4 Salahutu Liang Central Maluku who are the next generation of Maluku and of course who will maintain Ambon peace in the future. The purpose of this study is to describe how social science education integrated the value of peace education based on local wisdom pela gandong. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative case study approach. Data collection was carried out by means of literature study, interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The results showed, the existence of social conflict material in social science education which was then integrated with Ambon conflict material and peace education based on pela gandong. Thus, students have improved both in terms of knowledge, skills and attitudes in understanding conflict and peace education through social science education. At the same time cut off the trauma, mutual suspicion and hatred experienced by students so far.

Abstract

Mata Pelajaran IPS dapat dijadikan sebagai mata pelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan kepekaan sosial siswa. Sehingga bukan saja kecerdasan kognitif saja yang meningkat tetapi sikap dan keterampilan pun turut meningkat. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan isu sosial dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) yang masih relevan dan kontekstual dibahas hingga saat ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan studi pustaka dan analisis dokumen. Analisis data mengadopsi dari model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Materi pembelajaran IPS telah seharusnya mengkaji isu-isu social yang berkembang saat ini dalam konteks ini yakni, isu perdamaian dan pembangunan. Harapannya melalui pendekatan interdisipliner mampu membentuk siswa menjadi warga negara dan global yang baik dan bertanggung jawab. Membentuk agen perdamaian tidak harus hanya menyasar orang dewasa, melainkan sejak siswa dapat didik menjadi agen perdamaian dunia.

Abstract

The formation of student character requires relevant teaching materials. One of the efforts to provide appropriate teaching materials is to explore the content of ancient manuscripts. Through the Research and Development (R & D) method from old manuscripts to help make the high school curriculum. It is hoped that the application of learning models that are sourced from old texts will be designed to be more attractive and of high quality so that students are more interested in taking language education lessons. The final goal that is expected is that the results of language education learning can shape the character of the nation and fortify our young generation from disgraceful acts so that during their leadership, disgraceful acts are increasingly unheard. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to revitalize ancient manuscripts as language-learning materials in Sumatra. To shape human character, teaching materials from classical Malay ancient manuscripts are needed. The results showed that using the old text as a language learning material can shape the character of students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the history and influence of the South China Sea conflict on the political stability of Southeast Asia. The South China Sea has tremendous potential, both in the sea and above the sea. Thus, countries in Southeast Asia and the two major world powers, namely the United States and the People's Republic of China, are trying to claim or at least maintain their influence in the region. This research method uses literature research, and data analysis techniques used use content analysis methods. The findings of this study are that mutual claims between countries in Southeast Asia will become a major conflict in the future if it is not resolved. The negotiations were about the process of resolving conflicts that occurred in the South China Sea in reviewing the problems, and prospects in the South China Sea area for the benefit of all countries.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has made big changes to the human life sector. In order to break the chain of this virus, the government has issued a policy to maintain social distance and all activities must be carried out at home. The purpose of this research is to find out what roles students can play in society as agents of change during the COVID-19 pandemic. In particular, the issues raised in this research are; what is the role of students as agents of change in supporting learning activities during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research resulted in a conclusion that the role of Indonesian students as Agents of Change in the field of education during the COVID-19 pandemic includes; become a facilitator in learning activities, create fun learning, provide education about healthy lifestyles, and impart skills to children.

Abstract

Learning resources are part of learning that is very important for the success or failure of learning. So far, experience has shown that many lecturers who teach on campus still rely on books as the main reference in their teaching process. Of course, this cannot be called wrong, but making textbooks the only reference work has led to a decrease in the creativity of lecturers and students. This also happened to history subjects at UISU. In sixth semester history classes, where the subject is based mostly on facts and past events and one's memory is limited, books are very reliable in recalling the lecturer's memory of the material he taught the students. Likewise, students who are often given assignments by subject lecturers often make history textbooks and/or textbooks for other subjects, most of them make textbooks as learning resources and sources or materials to complete their subject assignments. The purpose of this work is to describe and analyze the use of history textbooks as a source of student learning in the history curriculum of the Islamic University of North Sumatra. The research method used in the preparation of this article is the literature review method, namely by means of sources obtained from books and scientific journals. The results of this study indicate that history textbooks play a very important role in ongoing history learning, so that it can be said that textbooks must have several content qualifications, which include the completeness of the material, the breadth and depth of the material. about the material and the accuracy of the material. Textbooks also have advantages and disadvantages, such as textbooks which must contain core and basic skills to support successful learning.

Abstract

History books play an important role in history learning because they provide information and explanations about important historical events. However, choosing the right textbook is an important factor in ensuring the effective use of textbooks as learning tools. The research method used is literature research by collecting and analyzing history textbooks available and used at Pancur Batu People's Private High School. The results of the analysis show that in choosing a good history textbook should pay attention to the accuracy of the information presented. Textbooks must contain accurate historical facts and be supported by valid evidence. In addition, textbooks must be in accordance with the applicable curriculum of Pancur Batu People's Private High School so that they contain relevant material and support the achievement of narrative learning objectives. Ease of reading is also an important factor when history textbooks have to be written in a language that students can easily understand. /Student. The use of images, charts, and graphs can also help students better understand historical content. In addition, a good history textbook should provide multiple perspectives to help students understand multiple perspectives on historical events. Finally, the importance of history books to students' lives is very important. History textbooks that connect the material to students' current reality or experience can increase their interest and participation in history learning. By considering these factors, the selection of the right history textbook at Pancur Batu People's Private High School can provide effective and quality learning resources for students. The importance of this research lies in the importance of selecting quality history textbooks to enhance students' understanding of history and develop critical thinking.
