This research aims to determine the effect of spiritual intelligence on the learning discipline of students at Madrasah Diniyyah. After testing, it can be concluded that spiritual intelligence partially has an influence on the learning discipline of students. Meanwhile, spiritual intelligence has a simultaneous influence on the students’ learning discipline. Based on the statistical test, the author got an R squared value of 0.942 or 94.2% which explains that 94.2% of the learning discipline variable transition can be explained by the spiritual intelligence variable, while the remaining 5.8% is explained by other variables outside the model. The score of 0.942 explains that there is a strong and unidirectional relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable simultaneously. Based on the t-test, it was found that spiritual intelligence had no influence on the student’s learning discipline. For the F test, it was found that simultaneously spiritual intelligence had an influence on the learning discipline of students at Madrasah Diniyyah Al Munawwir Krapyak, Yogyakarta.

Meunasah dan Dayah dalam masa perjalanannya tumbuh seiring perkembangan kerajaan-kerajaan Islam di Aceh yang memiliki peran strategis dalam pembentukan kebudayaan Islam di wilayah kekuasaan mereka masing-masing. Ini membuktikan bahwa kerajaan-kerajaan Melayu baik di Malaka (Malaysia) maupun di Aceh (Nangroe Aceh Darussalam) memiliki jaringan arkeologi sejarah kebudayaan dan peradaban yang terbentuk berdasarkan motivasi agama dan menjadikan tradisi Melayu sebagai identitas pemersatu mereka. Kehadiran lembaga-lembaga klasik Islam tersebut di atas terus mengalami perluasan secara fungsional, pergeseran sistem karena tuntutan perkembangan zaman, pun juga tuntutan sosial kehidupan masyarakat yang saat ini tidak lagi membutuhkan pemecahan problematika kehidupan melalui ilmu-ilmu agama semata, namun juga integrasi antara agama, ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Memodernisasikan Meunasah dan Dayah sebagai upaya menyelamatkan institusi Islam tua ini agar tidak menjadi “cagar budaya”, tentu bisa belajar dari pengalaman model-model modernisasi madrasah berdasarkan pengalaman Mesir (Masjid-Madrasah-Universitas al-Azhar), Turki (Maktab-Sekolah Remaja-Sekolah perempuan-Sekolah Imam-Khatib), dan Saudi Arabia (Madrasah-Sekolah Hasyimiyah).Meunasah and Dayah in their development along with Islamic kingdoms in Aceh have a strategic role in the formation of Islamic culture in their own territories. This proves that the Malay kingdoms either in Malacca (Malaysia) as well as in Aceh (NAD) had a network of archaeological history of culture and civilization formed based on religious motivation and made the Malay tradition as their unifying identity. The existence of the classical Islamic institutions mentioned above continue to functionally expand and the system shifted because of the demands of the current time. It was also because of the social demands of the society that is no longer in need of solving the problems of life through a mere religious science, but also the integration of religion, science and Technology. To modernize Meunasah and Dayah in an effort to save this old Islamic institutions from becoming "cultural heritage", could certainly be learned from the experience of modernization models of madrasa in Egypt (Mosque-Madrasa-al Azhar University), Turkey (Maktab- Teenagers Schools-Girls Schools-Imam Schools-Khatib), and Saudi Arabia (Madrasah-Hashimiyah schools).

Abstrak: Penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan tentang hubungan antara hasil penilaian kinerja guru dengan kompetensi guru PAI tingkat SLTP/MTs di Pondok Pesantren Darul Ulum Jombang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan atau tidak antara kedua variabel tersebut. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan uji analisis statistik korelasi product moment. Dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari dua variabel, yaitu hasil penilaian kinerja guru (variabel X) dan kompetensi guru PAI (variabel Y). Adapun data penelitian diperoleh dari dokumentasi data , interview dan penyebaran angket dengan bentuk tertutup. Dari hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa variabel X tergolong baik, dengan hasil perhitungan sebesar 79 %. Sedangkan untuk variabel Y juga tergolong baik, dengan perolehan prosentase sebesar 85%. Dari hasil analisis statistik korelasi product moment didapatkan hasil rxy=0,98 untuk taraf kesalahan ditetapkan 5% dan N=24, maka r tabel=0,40. Dari hasil tersebut didapatkan data bahwa r hitung lebih besar dari r tabel, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara hasil penilaian kinerja guru dengan kompetensi guru PAI tingkat SLTP/MTs di pondok Pesantren Darul Ulum Jombang.Abstract: It’s field research that discusses the connection between teacher performance appraisal results and the competence of PAI (Islamic lessons) teachers in MTs (junior high school) located in Pondok Pesantren Darul Ulum Jombang. The purpose of this study was to determine the existence of a connection between two variables. This quantitative research uses statistical analysis on product moment correlation test. This research consisted of two variables, namely the assessment of teacher performance (variable X) and the competence of PAI teachers (variable Y). The data obtained from documentation, interviews and questionnaires with a closed form. The results of this research is that the variable X is quite good: 79%. The Y is also quite good, with the acquisition of the percentage of 85%. The results of statistical analysis of the results obtained product moment correlation r xy = 0.98 for the error rate set at 5%, and N = 24, then the tables r = 0.40. The results obtained from the data that r count larger than r table, so Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. It can be concluded that there is a significant connection between teacher performance assessment results and the competence of PAI teachers of MTs at Pesantren Darul Ulum Jombang.

Historically, Ulema play an important role in religious-social movement and Islamic education. They have well established social and intellectual basis in maintaining their key position to spread Islam in Indonesia. During Islamic Monarchy throughout pre-colonialism in archipelago, their key positions have been described an elite religious leader and being a part of the ruler at that period. At the beginning, the Dutch as the colonialist, did not interfere on Islamic education system. However, step by step they interfered by giving pressure and confronting on the monarchy power, especially religious social institution. During colonialism period, the growth of religious social institution, therefore has led to the establishing of religious authority. Furthermore, this become institutional basis for the ulema to spread Islam. Moreover, they also have important contributions in religious practice, build up religious social movement, including Islamic education in their regions. During 17 till 19 century, as mecca became the religious spirit in east Hindia, their networking with ulema from Middle East intensively spread the intellectual kernel as well as building Islamic transmission. They use their intellectual to spread the Islam across archipelago.

This article discusses about SMK Pesantren with a focus on the search of it’s educational ideology. As the perspective, this article uses the theory of educational ideology from Giroux and Aronowitz (conservative, liberal and critical), as well as Freire’s consciousness theory (magical, naive, and critical). Based on the background that SMK and pesantren, epistemologically, depart from different, and even contradictive, ideological ideals. Being seen from the ideological theory initiated by Giorux and Aronowitz, pesantren education can be included into conservative and critical categories, while vocational education is more appropriate to be included in the liberal category. As seen from the Freire consciousness theory, pesantren education can uniquely combine magical and critical awareness, while vocational education departs from naive consciousness. Could educational institutions depart from the critical ideology as well as the liberals simultaneously? Could a naive consciousness be coupled with a critical awareness of the same entity? This article tries to answer these questions with the main purpose of SMK Pesantren is not mutually disagree between the two entities that build it, namely SMK and pesantren.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gaya kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah MTs Mohamad Hekal Desa Rantau Alai Kecamatan Batang Masumai; kendala yang dihadapi Kepala Sekolah MTs Mohamad Hekal Desa Rantau Alai Kecamatan Batang Masumai dalam peningkatan kinerja tenaga pendidik; upaya Kepala Sekolah MTs Mohamad Hekal Desa Rantau Alai Kecamatan Batang Masumai dalam peningkatan kinerja tenaga pendidik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui hasil observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah MTs Mohamad Hekal Desa Rantau Alai termasuk dalam tipe demokratis. Kepala Sekolah selalu meluangkan waktu untuk mengambil bagian dan berpartisipasi dalam setiap kegiatan, dan melakukan musyawarah dengan bawahan dalam mengambil keputusan. Selain itu, ia dengan senang hati menerima kritik, saran dan pendapat dari bawahannya. Kendala kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja staf pengajar adalah kurangnya insentif bagi staf pengajar, berkurangnya keengganan, dan kurangnya disiplin di kalangan pendidik. Upaya yang dilakukan kepala sekolah adalah memberikan motivasi dan penghargaan kerja, tenaga pengajar menyusun RPP dan menguasai materi, melakukan supervisi kelas, dan mengikutsertakan seluruh tenaga pengajar dalam kegiatan pendidikan.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi Kurikulum 2013 pada mata pelajaran jurusan Ilmu-ilmu Keagamaan PAI di MAN Rejoso; (2) untuk mendeskripsikan problematika implementasi Kurikulum 2013 pada mata pelajaran PAI jurusan Ilmu-ilmu Keagamaan di MAN Rejoso. Untuk mendeskripsikan sebab munculnya problematika dan solusi dari problematika implementasi Kurikulum 2013 pada mata pelajaran PAI jurusan Ilmu-ilmu Keagamaan di MAN Rejoso. Penelitian dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode diskriptif berupa kata-kata tertulis atau lisan dari orang-orang dan perilaku yang diamati, dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara, observasi dan analisis menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan verivikasi data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) implementasi Kurikulum 2013 pada mata pelajaran PAI di MAN Rejoso berjalan dengan baik walaupun masih banyak kendala, namun kendala tersebut sedikit demi sedikit bisa diatasi; (2) problematika implementasi Kurikulum 2013 memang tidak sedikit baik problem internal maupun eksternal, hal ini terjadi karena masih minimnya informasi yang diperoleh tentang implementasi Kurikulum 2013 secara utuh.This study aims to: (1) describe the implementation of the Curriculum 2013 for Religious subjects at the Islamic Education Department of MAN Rejoso; (2) describe the problematic implementation of the Curriculum 2013 for Religious subjects at the Islamic Education Department of MAN Rejoso. This research describes the problems and solutions for the problems in the implementation of Curriculum 2013 for Religious subjects at the Islamic Education Department of MAN Rejoso. The current research apllied qualitative approach with descriptive methods, that is observing subjects’ written or spoken words and behavior. The data collection was done by conducting interviews, observation, data reduction analysis, and data verification. Based on the results of research, it can be concluded that: (1) the implementation of the curriculum 2013 on the Islamic Education subjects in MAN Rejoso has been going well although there are still many obstacles. These obstacles, however, can be overcome little by little; (2) the problems, both internal and external problems, in implementing the Curriculum 2013 were not insignificant because of the lack of information on the implementation of the Curriculum 2013.

Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Misbah is a nonprofit educational institution that is under the auspices of the Al-Misbah Social Foundation. Since 2004 Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Misbah has no longer collected school fees from students because they have received school operational assistance funds from the government. Each student get IDR. 800,000.00 from the operational costs that are provided by the government. The purpose of this study is to conduct a further study of the financing of private madrasah education and examine how the headmaster made a strategy in meeting school needs that could not be met by school operational assistance funds. The problems that will be examined in this study are: how to manage education funding in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Misbah Cipadung, Bandung, which is related to financing planning, fund use, supervision and accountability for education funding. To answer that question, the research was conducted with qualitative research methods, a case study approach. The taken case was funding education at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Misbah in Cipadung, Bandung City. Management of financing for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Misbah education includes planning of budgeting; the use of budgeting; budgeting supervision; and finally the accountability reporting stage.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran IPA model inkuiri terbimbing untuk meningkatkan keterampilan literasi sains calon guru MI. Pengembangan perangkat diujicobakan di kelas PGMI semester 5 Unipdu Jombang tahun ajaran 2015/2016 bulan September-Desember 2015 dengan desain percobaan one-group-pretest-postest design. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, tes, dan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif-kuantitaif-kualitatif dan uji statistik parametrik. Temuan hasil penelitian adalah: (1) perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan berkategori valid; (2) kepraktisan perangkat pembelajaran ditinjau dari keterlaksanaan RPP berkategori baik dan aktivitas peserta didik sesuai dengan tahap-tahap pada model inkuiri terbimbing; dan (3) kefektifan perangkat pembelajaran ditinjau dari peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik terlihat dari n-gain dengan kategori tinggi dan peningkatan penguasaan keterampilan literasi sains peserta didik terlihat dari n-gain dengan kategori tinggi dan respons peserta didik terhadap perangkat dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran sangat positif. Disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran model inkuiri terbimbing yang dikembangkan valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan literasi sains calon guru MI.Abstract: The purpose of this ressearch is to evaluate the effectiveness science learning through guided inquiry model to improve science literacy skill of student of Islamic primary school teachers. The development of learning material was tested in class student of Islamic primary school teachers 5th semester Unipdu Jombang in academic year 2015/2016 since September-December 2015 with One group pretest-postest design. The data collection used observation method, test and quetionnaries. The data analysis techniqeus used descriptive analysis of quantitaive, qualitative and statistic parametric. The result of this research are: (1) learning material developed has a valid category; (2) the practicality of learning material in terms of a good category in feasibility of lesson plans and the students activities in accordance with steps of guided inquiry model; and (3) the learning material effectiveness in terms of improving student learning achievement seen from the n-gain score with high category and improving science literacy skill of student by getting the n gain score with high category and the student responds toward material and implementation of learning are very positive. It’s conclusion that the learning material through guided inquiry model are valid, practical, and effective to try science literacy skill of student of Islamic primary school teachers.

This study was aimed to investigate the influence of Creativity Authentic Literacy Learning Model with development to increase student activity in PGMI. Students of 5th semester majoring in PGMI, Unipdu, Jombang, were subjected with the tested learning method. The study was conducted in September-November 2018 with experimental method. Students’ performance was assesed through cognitive tests, observation, and interviews. Results of this study indicate that Science learning with Creativity Authentic Literacy Learning skill of learning to improve students achievement. Overall Creativity Authentic Literacy Learning syntax implemented 100%. Student activity during learning activities show that students learn actively.
