Abstract

Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Misbah is a nonprofit educational institution that is under the auspices of the Al-Misbah Social Foundation. Since 2004 Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Misbah has no longer collected school fees from students because they have received school operational assistance funds from the government. Each student get IDR. 800,000.00 from the operational costs that are provided by the government. The purpose of this study is to conduct a further study of the financing of private madrasah education and examine how the headmaster made a strategy in meeting school needs that could not be met by school operational assistance funds. The problems that will be examined in this study are: how to manage education funding in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Misbah Cipadung, Bandung, which is related to financing planning, fund use, supervision and accountability for education funding. To answer that question, the research was conducted with qualitative research methods, a case study approach. The taken case was funding education at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Misbah in Cipadung, Bandung City. Management of financing for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Misbah education includes planning of budgeting; the use of budgeting; budgeting supervision; and finally the accountability reporting stage.

Abstract

This curriculum management is beneficial not only for educators but also for students. Educators see the curriculum as an organization of learning experiences, with students as "consumers". In this way, it is hoped that students can gain a number of new experiences that can be added along with developments over time. Curriculum management is an important part of the overall educational process because without it nothing possible to realize educational goals optimally. Thus, without good management, an educational institution will not be able to achieve its educational goals well. The Independent Learning Curriculum is a policy established by the Minister of Education and Culture to provide students with the opportunity to choose the courses they want and encourage them to acquire the knowledge necessary for their future keywords: management, curriculum management, independent curriculum

Abstract

Manajemen Kurikulum merupakan proses pengelolaan kurikulum yang dilakukan sebagai salah satu penunjang untuk mencapai visi dan misi sekolah/madrasah, termasuk di MAN 1 Kabupaten Bandung. Manajemen kurikulum yang dilaksanakan di MAN 1 Kabupaten Bandung meliputi proses proses manajemen, dimulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Penelitian ini membahas implementasi manajemen kurikulum di MAN 1 Kabupaten Bandung yang bertujuan untuk membahas proses pelaksanaan kurikulum, kurikulum yang disesuaikan dengan satuan pendidikan (nasional) dan tantangan yang dialami dalam proses manajemen kurikulum Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen terkait kurikulum.

Abstract

Implementasi inovasi pendidikan merupakan suatu langkah krusial dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan memberikan dampak positif terhadap perkembangan dunia pendidikan. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis mengunakan MA Al-Ishlah Sagalaherang sebagai objek penelitian. Inovasi pendidikan mencakup berbagai strategi, metode, dan teknologi yang diterapkan untuk memperbaiki proses pembelajaran dan mencapai tujuan pendidikan yang lebih efektif. Metode penelitian melibatkan studi literatur, wawancara dengan para praktisi serta observasi terhadap praktik implementasi inovasi pendidikan di berbagai lembaga pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi inovasi pendidikan memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap pengalaman belajar siswa, meningkatkan keterlibatan guru, dan menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang lebih dinamis. Berbagai aspek inovasi, termasuk penggunaan teknologi digital, pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis proyek, dan strategi evaluasi yang kreatif, telah membuka peluang baru untuk mengoptimalkan pembelajaran. Dengan memahami dinamika implementasi inovasi pendidikan, kita dapat mengidentifikasi peluang untuk memperbaiki sistem pendidikan, meningkatkan relevansi kurikulum, dan mempersiapkan generasi mendatang untuk menghadapi tantangan global dengan lebih baik.

Abstract

Quality assurance at higher education becomes main priority, including at private Islamic higher education (PTKIS). This study analyzes the implementation of SPMI and SPME and identifies the obstacles and strategies taken to optimize the implementation of SPMI and SMPE at STAI Al Badar Cipulus Purwakarta. This study employs qualitative approach under a case study, at which the data were collecyed through interview, observation, and document analysis. The findings of the study show that the implementation of SPMI and SPME at STAI Al Badar Cipulus Purwakarta refers to planning, implementing, monitoring, evaluating, and improving the quality of education which is carried out by involving the entire academic community, including institustion leaders, lecturers, and quality management staff. In addition, the obstacles faced by STAI Al Badar in implementing SPMI and SPME consist of internal and external obstacles. Meanwhile, the strategies taken to optimize the implementation of SPMI and SMPE cover: (a) human resource training, (b) technology use training, and (c) strengthening strategic partnerships.

Abstract

Pendidikan demokrasi memainkan peran penting dalam menciptakan masyarakat yang inklusif, partisipatif, dan toleran, terutama di era globalisasi yang penuh tantangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi isu-isu krusial pendidikan demokrasi, termasuk ketidaksetaraan akses, dampak transformasi digital, polarisasi politik, serta integrasi nilai-nilai demokrasi dalam kurikulum. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif berbasis studi pustaka, penelitian ini menganalisis literatur terkait pendidikan demokrasi dalam konteks perubahan global. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa teknologi digital menawarkan peluang besar untuk memperluas akses pendidikan demokrasi, tetapi juga menghadirkan tantangan berupa disinformasi dan polarisasi opini. Selain itu, kesenjangan pendidikan akibat faktor sosial-ekonomi memperkuat urgensi pengembangan kurikulum yang inklusif. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan strategi peningkatan literasi digital, penguatan kolaborasi antara pendidikan formal dan non-formal, serta optimalisasi peran lembaga pendidikan dalam mempromosikan nilai-nilai demokrasi. Implikasi penelitian ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi pada penguatan pendidikan demokrasi guna mendukung terciptanya masyarakat global yang adil dan demokratis.

Abstract

Evaluation of education and learning is a crucial element in the educational process that aims to ensure the achievement of predetermined educational goals. Evaluation not only serves to measure learners' learning outcomes but also to identify strengths and weaknesses in the learning process and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement. In this theoretical review, the author will review various perspectives and theories related to the importance of evaluation in education and learning. The review covers the definition, purpose, and types of evaluation, as well as methods and techniques that can be used to conduct effective evaluation. It also highlights the challenges and solutions in the implementation of educational evaluation across different levels and contexts of education. Through a comprehensive understanding of the urgency of evaluation, it is hoped that educators and policymakers can design and implement more effective evaluation strategies to improve the overall quality of education.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the integration of Islamic ethics in value-based strategic management as a holistic approach in educational strategic planning. The main problem raised is the lack of application of Islamic values in education management, which has an impact on the less than optimal achievement of Islamic education goals. This research uses the literature study method by analysing relevant literature, theories and concepts. The results show that the integration of Islamic values, such as trustworthiness, justice, ihsan and deliberation, provides an effective framework to improve efficiency, accountability and sustainability in education management. This approach not only addresses the challenges of modernization, but also maintains the spiritual identity of Islamic educational institutions. The findings are expected to serve as a practical guide for educational institutions, researchers, and policy makers in managing value-based education.
