Abstract

The quality of education determines the success and competitiveness of an educational institution. The quality of this education will not succeed without the right strategy in determining the overall quality of all components in education. The problems that occur in the world of education which include less effective learning, quality teachers, inadequate infrastructure, graduate competency standards, and programs that do not support the achievement of quality and competitiveness. One of the efforts to improve quality and competitiveness is through the application of strategic management, so as to be able to determine appropriate strategic steps to improve the quality of education and competitiveness. This study aims to reveal the conditions and analysis, implementation and evaluation of strategic management, and the results achieved from the implementation of strategic management in improving the quality of education and competitiveness in SD Islam Terpadu Aikmel. The research method used is descriptive-qualitative. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results of this study are the relevance or linkage between strategic management and the quality of education and competitiveness, because the quality of education is related to everything that becomes the standard for achieving quality education both in terms of student achievement, quality of teachers, and school programs in general. This is because the quality of education is one of the benchmarks for the ability of schools to compete.

Abstract

Abstract: Since the entry of Covid-19 into Indonesia, the government has encouraged the public to carry out all activities from home, including teaching and learning activities or study from home (SFH). This situation requires a teacher to be able to design a learning strategy using various online learning media that can support the student learning process, because the right learning media and in accordance with the student's learning style will make it easier for students to achieve their learning targets. This study aims to determine the learning styles and student learning outcomes as well as the influence of learning styles on student learning outcomes in Islamic Education subject class 4-F at Al-Hikmah Elementary School Surabaya. After doing the analysis using Linear Regression Test, this study shows that learning style has a significant influence on student learning outcomes. The results of this study showed that 77% or 23 students had a visual learning style and 23% or 7 students had an auditory learing style and there were no students with a kinestethic learning style. Thus the Islamic Religious Education teachers can teach according to students learning styles, because the learnig process that pays attentions to students learning styles will have a greater influence in improving student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education subject.

Abstract

Currently, Islamic Cosmopolitanism is quite diverse. Cosmopolitanism encompasses a wide range of topics, ideas, and practices that represent various interpretations and expressions of Islam. Among the varieties of Cosmopolitanism, there are those that are divisive and controversial. Here the author will analyze the potential consequences of Islamic immigration. In a global society, Cosmopolitanism is important for Islamic education. Islamic teachings are claimed to be quite interpretable to support various Islamic Cosmopolitanisms. Islamic education is always colored by change. The exchange of information and ideas democratizes and complicates Islamic hermeneutics and practice. In such an atmosphere, the author argues that the Cosmopolitan discourse of Islam has become a necessity, and that the results of this discourse will have a significant impact on Islamic education in the future. Given the historical antecedents, the author believes that if this discourse contributes to or increases polarization, the orthodoxy of Islamic education will triumph.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh manajemen kurikulum dan manajemen sarana prasarana terhadap kemampuan Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) guru abad 21 di MA NW Kembang Kerang. Ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survei dengan kuesioner sebagai instrumennya. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru MA NW Kembang Kerang yang berjumlah 45 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan random sampling dengan perhitungan tabel Krejcie, yang didasarkan pada kesalahan 5%, dan sampel yang diperoleh mempunyai kepercayaan 95% terhadap populasi,  yakni 40 orang sebagai sampel. Data kuantitatif yang telah dihimpun selanjutnya dianalisis dengan regresi linier berganda. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi variabel manajemen kurikulum, manajemen sarana prasarana, dan kemampuan Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) guru di MA NW Kembang Kerang sudah dalam kondisi baik; secara parsial, manajemen kurikulum berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) guru, sedangkan manajemen sarana prasarana tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kemampuan Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) guru di MA NW Kembang Kerang; dan secara simultan, manajemen kurikulum dan manajemen sarana prasarana berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kemampuan Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) guru abad 21 di MA NW Kembang Kerang. Variabel yang paling besar mempengaruhi kemampuan Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) guru abad 21 adalah manajemen kurikulum. This study aims to determine the effect of curriculum management and infrastructure management on the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) competencies of 21st century teachers at MA NW Kembang Kerang. This is quantitative research using a survey method with a questionnaire as the instrument. The population in this study were 45 teachers of MA NW Kembang Kerang. This study used random sampling with the Krejcie table calculation, which is based on an error of 5%, and the sample obtained has 95% confidence in the population, namely 40 people as a sample. The collected quantitative data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The research findings show that the condition of the variables of curriculum management, infrastructure management, and Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) of teachers at MA NW Kembang Kerang is in good condition; partially, curriculum management has a significant effect on teachers' Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) competencies, while infrastructure management has no significant effect on teachers’ Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) competencies at MA NW Kembang Kerang; and simultaneously, curriculum management and infrastructure management have a significant effect on the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) competencies of 21st century teachers at MA NW Kembang Kerang. The variable that most influences the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) ability of 21st century teachers is curriculum management.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the strategies implemented by Early Childhood Education (PAUD) institutions, especially the Integrated Islamic Kindergarten (TKIT) Plus Al-Hidayah Tenggarong in implementing student management. This study also aims to determine the obstacles experienced in the implementation of student management. This is a field research conducted using a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. This study will describe the strategies used by TKIT Plus Al-Hidayah Tenggarong in the implementation of student management, and also describe the obstacles experienced in the implementation of student management. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that student management can be a forum to improve the quality of child development. TKIT Plus Al-Hidayah Tenggarong carries out a coaching strategy to improve the ability of students through small preachers (d?‘?) and ?u?? prayers in congregation before carrying out learning and memorizing daily prayers and short suras that are easy to memorize. The obstacle experienced is that student management programs, especially the little dai program, are difficult to implement because the development of each child is different, and the frequent change of teachers also makes it difficult to manage students.

Abstract

This research is motivated by environmental problems which are mostly caused by human activities. Human awareness needs to be built through the formation of environmental care characters in schools that are integrated into subjects, including Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects, in order to maintain and utilize natural resources wisely and responsibly. This study aims to determine how the formation of environmental care character through PAI in SD Muhammadiyah 4 Batu. This research uses a qualitative approach and is also a case study research. Data collection techniques were carried out by interview, observation and documentation. Data analysis is done by collecting data, presenting data, condensing data, and drawing conclusions/verification. To obtain the validity of the data, this study used the source triangulation method. The results of this study indicate that the formation of a caring character for the environment through PAI in SD Muhammadiyah 4 Batu is carried out through three components, namely school policy programs and an environmentally friendly curriculum, which are described in the vision and mission of a school with an environmental culture and curriculum development with a monolithic or integrated model; perpetrators of character building caring for the environment which in this case are PAI teachers and parents; updating the facilities and infrastructure used to support learning.

Abstract

Student management as a process that regulates all forms of student activity becomes a measure of success in an effort to achieve educational goals effectively and efficiently. The purpose of student management is to regulate all forms of activities that support the learning process so that students become orderly so that they have an impact on overall educational goals. The success of education as a form of discipline among students in conditions that match their attitudes and behavior with the values ??and rules of the madrasa. Madrasas need to do their best to enforce the rules so that they can be a comfortable place for students to learn. To take disciplinary action, the teacher must consider the psychological aspects of each student. With the library research method, this study shows that student management produces activities that can support the development of student potential in the form of providing services to students in an educational institution, both inside and outside of classroom learning hours; student development can be carried out on new student orientation, discipline development by producing student attitudes, appearance, and behavior in accordance with the order of values, norms, and applicable provisions; The realization of student management has three main tasks that must be considered, namely acceptance of new students, learning progress activities, and guidance and discipline development.

Abstract

Untuk mewujudkan keberhasilan, setiap lembaga pendidikan memerlukan pengelolaan yang baik. Salah satunya adalah dengan membuat pengelolaan acuan pembelajaran (manajemen kurikulum), sehingga proses belajar dan mengajar di dalam lembaga pendidikan dapat berlangsung efektif dan efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan proses perencanaan, pelaksanaan, serta evaluasi dalam pelaksanaan manajemen kurikulum di PAUD Al-Qur’an Ar-Raudhah. Tulisan ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang melakukan pengamatan mendalam di PAUD Al-Qur’an Ar-Raudhah Kota Balikpapan. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pembelajaran PAUD diawali dengan perencanaan kurikulum dimulai dari pertemuan yang dihadiri oleh seluruh tenaga pendidik, pembuatan rencana kurikulum program tahunan dan semester serta rancangan kegiatan mingguan dan rancangan kegiatan sehari-hari; pelaksanaan kurikulum telah digunakan dalam kegiatan in-door dan out-door; evaluasi kurikulum dilakukan secara berkala dan telah ditetapkan waktunya, setiap sebulan sekali orang tua peserta didik diajak berdiskusi dan musyawarah mengenai pembelajaran yang telah dilakukan selama satu bulan sebelumnya. Tulisan ini memberikan wawasan baru untuk implementasi manajemen kurikulum pendidikan anak usia dini yang harus mengacu pada kurikulum nasional dengan tambahan materi keagamaan Islam dimana kita dapat turut serta dalam pembentukan karakter bagi peserta didik. To achieve success, every educational institution requires good management. One way is to make management of learning references (curriculum management), so that the learning and teaching process in educational institutions can take place effectively and efficiently. This study aims to describe the process of planning, implementing, and evaluating the implementation of curriculum management in PAUD (Early Childhood Education) Al-Qur’an Ar-Raudhah. This paper is qualitative research that conducts in-depth observations at PAUD Al-Qur'an Ar-Raudhah, Balikpapan City. The results obtained show that PAUD learning activities begin with curriculum planning starting from meetings attended by all teaching staff, making annual and semester program curriculum plans as well as designing weekly activities and designing daily activities; implementation of the curriculum has been used in in-door and out-door activities; curriculum evaluation is carried out periodically and has a set time, once a month the parents of students are invited to discuss and deliberation regarding the learning that has been carried out during the previous month.

Abstract

This study aims to describe learning activities in Islamic-based Early Childhood Education (PAUD) institutions and the obstacles that occur in the process of implementing them. This research was conducted at the PAUD Rasyiqah Samarinda Seberang East Kalimantan. This research uses qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research conducted at PAUD Rasyiqah Samarinda Seberang East Kalimantan showed that the vision of an Islamic-based institution was in sync with the learning activities carried out in the classroom. This is shown by activities that shape the character of salih and saliha children’s manners, saving and infaq every day, cleanliness and tidiness, iqrar or praying before and after studying, reciting al-asma’ al-husna, Duha prayer activities, recitation of the Qur’an using the Qiroati method which is the flagship program, reading daily prayers and the Qur’an, as well as reading selected hadiths. These activities are carried out every day summarized in the 9 (nine) pillars of salih/saliha children as an effort to realize the vision of the institution. Meanwhile, the obstacle faced by the institution is the teacher’s recruitment, if there is one teacher who is licensed, then learning is not optimal, coupled with the presence of children with special needs, so they need a shadow teacher for the child with special needs.

Abstract

Setiap lembaga memiliki cara tersendiri dalam mengelola program-program yang telah dibentuk, seperti program bahasa Arab 1 bulan yang ada di lembaga Al-Azhar Pare Kediri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan deskripsi mengenai manajemen pengorganisasian dalam program bahasa Arab 1 bulan di lembaga kursus Al-Azhar Pare, serta kelebihan dan kekurangan manajemen pengorganisasiannya. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data-data yang relevan dengan tujuan penelitian dikumpulkan dengan teknik wawancara dan observasi. Setelah terkumpul, data dianalisis dengan teknik model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan oleh peneliti menunjukkan bahwa manajemen pengorganisasian pada program 1 bulan di lembaga Al-Azhar memuat beberapa langkah atau proses, mulai dari tujuan lembaga Al-Azhar, penentuan dan pengklasifikasian kegiatan, pendelegasian wewenang, penetapan jumlah ustaz, struktur organisasi, serta monitoring dan reorganisasi. Selain itu, hasil penelitian juga memaparkan mengenai kelebihan dan kekurangan manajemen pengorganisasian dalam program bahasa Arab 1 bulan di lembaga kursus Al-Azhar Pare. Each institution has its way of managing the programs that have been formed, such as the 1-month Arabic program at the Al-Azhar course institution, Pare Kediri. This study aims to describe organizational management, the advantages and disadvantages of organizing management in the 1-month Arabic program at the Al-Azhar course institution. The researcher uses a qualitative approach with descriptive method. The relevant data to the formulation of the problem was collected using interview and observation techniques. After collecting the data, they were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model of analysis technique. The results of the study conducted by the researcher show that the organizational management of the 1-month Arabic program at the Al-Azhar course institution contains several steps or processes starting from the goals of the Al-Azhar institution, determining and classifying activities, a delegation of authority, determining the number of teachers, organizational structure, as well as monitoring and reorganization. In addition, the results of the study also describe the advantages and disadvantages of organizational management in the 1-month Arabic language program at the Al-Azhar course institution.
