Abstract

Abstract: This research has been conducted to develop a Bioecology e-book based on research of the dragonfly community structure around the springs in Malang Raya. The type of research is research and development.The research used ADDIE development model includes stagesof analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate. Research data collection used the validation sheet of material expert, the validation sheet of learning expert and the practicality sheet. Product trials were conducted in the Deaprtment of Biology, State University of Malang with 28 students. The results of evaluation by material expert validator showed that the e-book was quite valid (76%), results by learning expert validator was very valid (98,5%) and field trials by students that e-book was very practical and could be used with e few revisions (88%).Abstrak: Penelitian ini telah dilakukan untuk  mengembangkan e-book Bioekologi capung berbasis penelitian struktur komunitas capung di area sumber mata air Malang Raya. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE dengan tahap menganalisis, merancang, mengembangkan, mengimplementasi dan mengevaluasi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar validasi ahli materi, lembar validasi ahli pembelajaran, dan lembar kepraktisan. Uji coba produk dilakukan di jurusan Biologi FMIPA Universitas Negeri Malang dengan 28 mahasiswa. Hasil penilaian oleh validator ahli pembelajaran menunjukkan e-book dinyatakan valid (98,5%), penilaian oleh ahli materi cukup valid (76%) dan uji coba di lapangan oleh mahasiswa menyatakan e-book sangat praktisdan dapat digunakan dengan sedikit revisi (88%).

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to improve students' speaking ability and self-confidence by implementing the Jigsaw cooperative learning model. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of three meetings. Participants in this study were students of class X.TP 1 at SMK Negeri 4 Pati in the odd semester of the 2019/2020 school year. In this study, there was an increase in the average score of students' speaking ability from 80.15, in the first cycle to 82.59 in the second cycle, accompanied by a boost in self-confidence.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara bahasa Inggris dan percaya diri siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif Jigsaw. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari tiga pertemuan. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X.TP 1 SMK Negeri 4 Pati semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Dalam penelitian ini terjadi peningkatan skor rata-rata kemampuan berbicara siswa dari 80.15, pada siklus I menjadi 82.59 pada siklus II, disertai dengan peningkatan percaya diri.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe students' mental models in phenomenon-based Argument Driven Inquiry (ADI) learning with formative assessment. This research uses quantitative and qualitative approaches with mixed methods of embedded experimental model design. The subject was taken from X IPA-1 with 26 students at Pademawu 1 Public High School. The instrument was developed in the form of 6 essay questions. Research data were analyzed using t-paired test, N-gain, and effect size. The results are categorized as surface, matching, and deep type of mental models. It is found that the phenomenon-based ADI accompanied formative assessment affect significantly on the mental models of students with an effect size of 1.86. It is also reveald that the improvement of students' mental models is low category with an N-gain of 0.2.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian adalah mendiskripsikan model mental siswa dalam pembelajaran Argument Driven Inquiry (ADI) berbasis fenomena disertai penilaian formatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan mixed method desain embedded experimental model. Subjek penelitian X IPA-1 dengan 26 siswa di SMAN 1 Pademawu. Instrumen penelitian berupa enam soal uraian. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan t-paired test, N-gain, dan effect size. Hasil penelitian dikategorikan dalam tiga tipe model mental surface, matching, dan deep. Hasil penilitian didapatkan bahwa ADI berbasis fenomena disertai penilaian formatif berpengaruh kuat terhadap model mental siswa dengan nilai effect size 1.86. Selain itu diperoleh informasi bahwa peningkatan model mental siswa dalam kategori rendah dengan nilai N-gain 0.2.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research development is to produce non-textbooks with the character value of the Kediri SLG relief. The product consists of student books and teacher books developed with the 4D model, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. Product feasibility test is obtained through expert validation, and development test. The product validation test, respectively, obtained an average of 97%, 98%, and 97% that declared valid and can be used. Development testing is divided into small group trials and field trials. In a small group trial an assessment of student responses and student activity was carried out on the product. Student responses scored 98% and student activities 93%, which means that the product is very effective in learning. Then the field test consists of effectiveness tests in learning 1 to 5 obtaining an average percentage of 93% and hypothesis testing using Paired Sample T-Test with the acquisition of sig values. 0,000 <0.050, meaning the use of the product has an effect on the learning outcomes of fourth grade students. Based on a series of tests carried out, the product was declared to have met the criteria and requirements for use in the field as a supporting book.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian pengembangan ini adalah menghasilkan buku non teks bertema nilai karakter dari relief SLG Kediri. Produk terdiri dari buku buku siswa dan buku guru yang dikembangkan dengan model 4D, yaitu define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Uji kelayakan produk diperoleh melalui uji validasi ahli dan uji pengembangan. Uji validasi produk secara berurutan memperoleh rerata sebesar 97%, 98%, dan 97% yang artinya  valid dan dapat digunakan. Uji pengembangan dibedakan atas uji coba kelompok kecil dan uji coba lapangan. Pada uji coba kelompok kecil dilakukan penilaian respon siswa dan aktivitas siswa terhadap produk. Respons siswa mendapat skor 98% dan aktivitas siswa sebesar 93% yang artinya produk sangat efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Kemudian uji lapangan terdiri atas uji efektivitas pada pembelajaran 1—5 memperoleh rerata persentase sebesar 93% serta uji hipotesis menggunakan uji Paired Sample t-test dengan perolehan nilai sig. 0,000<0,050, berarti penggunaan produk berpengaruh pada hasil belajar siswa kelas IV. Berdasarkan serangkaian pengujian yang dilaksanakan, produk dinyatakan sudah mencukupi kriteria dan persyaratan guna digunakan di lapangan sebagai buku penunjang.

Abstract

Abstract: The ability to think critically is an urgent need in the 21st century Vocational School education system. Critical thinking is the individual's ability to seek, receive and manage information from various sources. Media used to make decisions and solve problems based on rationality and accountable reality. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The purpose of this study was to provide a description of the critical thinking skills of SMK students. The research subjects were 254 students of SMK Cendika Bangsa Malang Regency. The inventory of critical thinking skills was adopted from the Watson Glacier Critical Thinking Test (WGCT) critical thinking ability inventory. Analysis of student responses is categorized based on five components of critical thinking, namely assumptions, arguments, deductions, interpretations and conclusions. The results showed that the condition of critical thinking skills of vocational students was low. This condition supports the fact that the critical thinking skills of SMK students are an urgent need that is important to be met by increasing the critical thinking skills of SMK students.Abstrak: Kemampuan berpikir kritis menjadi urgensi kebutuhan dalam sistem pendidikan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan abad 21. Berpikir kritis adalah kemampuan individu dalam mencari, menerima, dan mengelola informasi dari berbagai sumber. Media yang digunakan untuk mengambil keputusan dan penyelesaian masalah berdasarkan rasionalitas dan realitas yang bersifat akuntabel. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskrptif kualitatif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memberikan deskripsi kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMK. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa SMK Cendika Bangsa Kabupaten Malang yang berjumlah 254 siswa. Inventori kemampuan berpikir kritis diadopsi dari inventori kemampuan berpkir kritis Watson Gletser Critical Thinking Test (WGCT). Analisis respons siswa dikategorikan berdasarkan lima komponen berpikir kritis, yaitu asumsi, argumentasi, deduksi, interpretasi, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMK tergolong rendah. Kondisi tersebut mendukung fakta bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMK menjadi urgensi kebutuhan yang penting untuk dipenuhi dengan cara meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMK.

Abstract

Abstract: The aims of this research is to produce monograph as teaching material based on local potential from exploration of lifeform coral reef and their environmental characteristics in Bangsring Beach for Biology students. This research method is Research and Development use ADDIE model. The results validity material got 96.74% and the validity by the learning experts got 90.83% both of them has very valid category. Monograph readability results was 85.14% and the results of student responses to monographs was 89.76% with a very practical category. The conclusion of this research has produced monograph for learning resources on coral reef material with very good and feasible to use.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar berupa monograf berbasis potensi lokal hasil eksplorasi bentuk pertumbuhan terumbu karang dan karakteristik lingkungannya di Pantai Bangsring untuk mahasiswa Biologi. Metode penelitian ini yaitu Penelitian dan Pengembangan yang diadaptasi dari model ADDIE. Hasil kevalidan materi mendapatkan rerata 96,74% dan kevalidan oleh ahli pembelajaran mendapatkan rerata 90,83% keduannya dengan kategori sangat valid. Hasil keterbacaan monograf pada uji coba kelompok kecil yaitu 85,14% dan hasil respons mahasiswa terhadap monograf adalah 89,76% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu telah menghasilkan monograf untuk sumber belajar mahasiswa pada materi terumbu karang dengan hasil sangat baik dan layak digunakan.

Abstract

Abstract: Self-assessment has a strategic role to identify student achievement and learning development independently. This study aims to develop a self-assessment instrument based on self-regulated learning for the Basic Teaching Skills course through the Borg & Gall R&D model which has been adapted according to the needs of this study. The research data were collected using a questionnaire technique and field notes for expert validation and user testing which were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative descriptive techniques. This self-assessment instrument based on self-regulated learning was developed by considering the results of the needs analysis that had been done previously. The results of the development of the instrument show that the self-assessment instrument based on self-regulated learning has been tested by an assessment expert for the Basic Teaching Skills course. Based on the results of the test of validity, reliability, and expert test, it shows that the instrument has had very decent qualifications. In addition, the results of the user test show that the product is very feasible to be used as an assessment instrument for learning in the Basic Teaching Skills course. From the test results, it is found that according to the user (student) this self-assessment instrument based on self-regulated learning is very useful for knowing learning achievement, especially in teaching practice. In addition, this self-assessment instrument can also help students find out the problems of learning independently.Abstrak: Self-asessment memiliki peran strategis untuk mengidentifikasi prestasi dan perkembangan belajar mahasiswa secara mandiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen self-asessment berbasis self-regulated learning untuk matakuliah Keterampilan Dasar Mengajar melalui model R&D Borg & Gall yang telah diadaptasi sesuai kebutuhan pada penelitian ini. Data hasil penelitian dikumpulkan dengan teknik kuisioner dan catatan lapangan untuk validasi ahli dan uji pengguna yang dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif. Instrumen self-asessment berbasis self-regulated learning ini dikembangkan dengan mempertimbangkan hasil analisis kebutuhan yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya. Hasil pengembangan instrumen menunjukkan bahwa instrumen self-asessment berbasis self-regulated learning telah teruji dari ahli penilaian untuk matakuliah Keterampilan Dasar Mengajar. Berdasarkan hasil uji validitas, reliabilitas, dan uji ahli menunjukkan bahwa instrumen telah memiliki kualifikasi sangat layak. Selain itu, hasil uji penguna menunjukkan bahwa produk sangat layak untuk digunakan sebagai instrumen penilaian untuk pembelajaran pada matakuliah Keterampilan Dasar Mengajar. Dari hasil uji coba diperoleh hasil bahwa menurut pengguna instrumen self-asessment berbasis self-regulated learning ini sangat bermanfaat untuk mengetahui pencapaian belajar khususnya pada praktik mengajar. Selain itu, melalui instrumen self-asessment ini juga dapat membantu mahasiswa mengetahui permasalahan belajar secara mandiri.

Abstract

Abstract: This study used a qualitative-descriptive study with the aim of this study to describe the pointing profile and gesture representation of students in solving mathematical problems with the material of linear functions. The subjects in the study were 2 students of class X SMA Negeri 2 Dompu. The research subjects were selected by 1 student as the pointing gesture and 1 student as the representational gesture. Data was collected by providing assignments, gesture observation sheets, and interviews with selected subjects. The data were analyzed qualitatively through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. This study resulted that the pointing gesture helped P1 describe the answer completion plan, helped focus himself to perform calculations, generate ideas, and facilitate the description of information from questions and answers as well as check and understand questions and answers when solving questions. Representational gesture helps R1 to describe the steps to understand the graphic related to the problem, helps focus on understanding the problem and can be careful in solving the problem. Also plays a role in concretizing ideas/ideas that are being worked on or are being thought of by students.Abstrak: Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif-deskriptif dengan tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan profil pointing dan representasi gesture siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika materi fungsi linear. subjek dalam penelitian adalah 2 orang siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Dompu. Subjek penelitian dipilih 1 orang siswa sebagai pointing gesture dan 1 orang siswa sebagai representational gesture. Perolehan data dilakukan dengan memberikan lembar tugas, lembar Observasi gesture, dan wawancara yang terpilih menjadi subjek. Data di analisis secara kualitatif melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Penelitian ini menghasilkan bahwa Pointing gesture membantu P1 menggambarkan rencana penyelesaian jawaban, membantu memfokuskan dirinya untuk melakukan hitungan, memunculkan ide, dan mempermudah gambaran informasi dari soal dan jawaban serta mengecek dan memahami soal dan jawaban saat menyelesaikan soal. Representational gesture membantu R1 untuk menggambarkan langkah memahami grafik terkait hubungan dengan soal, membantu memusatkan perhatian memahami soal dan dapat teliti dalam menyelesaikan soal. Berperan juga untuk mengkongkretkan ide/gagasan yang sedang dikerjakan maupun sedang dipikirkan siswa.

Abstract

Abstract: Early childhood thinking that is still concrete causes all forms of learning activities using real objects. Developing smart egg learning media in introducing science to children aged 4—5 years at the Malang Brawijaya Smart School Children Center is the aim of this research and development. This research uses a model approach to the system designed and developed by Dick & Carey through 10 steps that have been adapted to the conditions in the field. In this development research, it obtained results in the form of smart egg learning media products and implementation guidelines which were utilized by institutions providing early childhood education in introducing science.Abstrak: Pemikiran anak usia dini yang masih konkret menyebabkan segala bentuk kegiatan pembelajaran menggunakan benda-benda nyata. Mengembangkan media pembelajaran smart egg dalam mengenalkan sains anak usia 4—5 tahun di Children Center Brawijaya Smart School Kota Malang merupakan tujuan dari penelitian dan pengembangan ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pendekatan dengan sistem yang dirangcang dan dikembangkan oleh Dick & Carey melalui 10 langkah yang telah disesuaikan dengan kondisi di lapangan. Dalam penelitian pengembangan ini memperoleh hasil berupa produk media pembelajaran smart egg dan panduan implementasi yang dimanfaatkan oleh lembaga penyelenggara pendidikan anak usia dini dalam mengenalkan sains.

Abstract

Abstract: Professional teachers are required to have four compulsory competencies, namely pedagogical, professional, personality, and social competencies. Personality competencies are competencies that can not be obtained immediately, but need a coaching process. One of the processes of fostering personality competencies is through teacher professional education programs held at LPTK. The objectives of this study are (1) to explain the dimensions and aspects of personality in professional education of elementary school teachers, (2) to explain strategies for fostering personality competencies in primary school teacher professional education; (3) explains the evaluation of personality competencies in primary school teacher professional education, and (4) explains the impact of personality after being fostered in primary school teacher professional education. The results of the study are: (1) aspects of the dominant personality that are fostered in the professional education of elementary school teachers, namely acting according to norms, confident as a teacher, and responsible; (2) coaching strategies that are used include learning workshop programs, Basic Advance Scouting courses, national defense, Field Experience Practices, and personality curricula, and resource use; (3) evaluations used to measure the personality of participants using evaluations with tests and non-test evaluations; and (4) the impact received after getting personality development is more trusted by the community, and develops oneself in a sustainable manner.Abstrak: Guru profesional diharuskan memiliki empat kompetensi wajib, yaitu kompetensi pedagogis, profesional, kepribadian, dan sosial. Kompetensi kepribadian merupakan kompetensi yang dapat tidak dapat semerta-merta diperoleh, namun perlu proses pembinaan. Salah satu proses pembinaan kompetensi kepribadian adalah melalui program pendidikan profesi guru yang diselenggarakan di LPTK. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) menjelaskan dimensi dan aspek kepribadian dalam pendidikan profesi guru sekolah dasar, (2) menjelaskan strategi pemibinaan kompetensi kepribadian dalam pendidikan profesi guru sekolah dasar; (3) menjelaskan evaluasi kompetensi kepribadian dalam pendidikan profesi guru sekolah dasar; (4) menjelaskan dampak kepribadian setelah dibina dalam pendidikan profesi guru sekolah dasar. Hasil penelitian yaitu: (1) aspek kepribadian yang dominan dibina dalam pendidikan profesi guru sekolah dasar, yaitu bertindak sesuai norma, percaya diri sebagai guru, dan bertanggung jawab; (2) strategi pembinaan yang digunakan antara lain dengan program lokakarya pembelajaran, Kursus Mahir Dasar pembina pramuka, bela negara, Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan, dan kurikulum kepribadian, dan pemanfaatan sumber daya; (3) evaluasi yang digunakan untuk mengukur kepribadian peserta menggunakan evaluasi dengan tes dan evaluasi non-tes; (4) dampak yang diterima setelah mendapatkan pembinaan kepribadian adalah lebih dipercaya masyarakat, dan mengembangkan diri secara berkelanjutan.
