Abstract

Abstract: Globalization has positive and negative impacts on human survival and culture. The positive impact discusses the role of advances in science and technology to make it easier for humans to solve problems, related to information literacy. The negative impact is related to the ease with which students are influenced by a culture that is not in accordance with the personality and character of the nation. Local wisdom-based education has an important role in internalizing the nation's values and culture. Social Studies as an integrated subject in elementary schools, accommodates material about the socio-cultural diversity of the local community. The Using community in Banyuwangi, East Java has a tourist village that supports cultural preservation, but the reality on the ground shows that teachers still do not have enough information about local wisdom. The purpose of the study was to describe the local wisdom of the Using Community as a source of social studies learning in elementary schools. The method in this research is literature study, by reviewing international and national journals about the local wisdom of the Using community in the last 10 years. The results show that the local wisdom of the Using community that can be used as a source of social studies learning and is relevant to the 2013 curriculum in elementary schools is the local wisdom of water conservation, agriculture, traditional houses, traditional ceremonies, and arts. The Using community upholds the customs that have been passed down from generation to generation. This local wisdom can be integrated into social studies learning in elementary schools at the high grade level.Abstrak: Globalisasi memberikan dampak positif dan negatif bagi kelangsungan hidup dan budaya manusia. Dampak postif membahas tentang peran kemajuan Ilmu Pengetahuan dan teknologi memudahkan manusia dalam meneyelesaikan masalah, berkaitan dengan literasi informasi. Dampak negatif berkaitan dengan mudahnya siswa terpengaruhi budaya yang kurang sesuai dengan kepribadian dan karakter bangsa. Pendidikan berbasis keraifan local memiliki peran penting dalam menginternalisasikan nilai dna budyaa bangsa. IPS sebagai matapelajaran yang terintegrasi di Sekolah dasar, mengakomodir materi tentang keragaman social budaya masyarakat setempat. Masyarakat Using di Banyuwangi Jawa Timur memiliki desa wisata yang mendukung pelestarian budaya, namun kenyataan di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa guru masih belum memiliki cukup informasi tentang kearifan lokal setempat. Tujuan penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan kearifan lokal Masyarakat Using sebagai sumber belajar IPS di Sekolah Dasar. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah studi literatur, dengan mengkaji jurnal Internasional dan nasional tetang kearifan lokal masyarakat Using dalam 10 tahun terakhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keraifan local masyarakat Using yang dapat dijadikan sumber belajar IPS dan relevan dengan kurikulum 2013 di Sekolah Dasar adalah kearifan lokal konservasi air, bidang pertanian, rumah adat, upaca adat, dan kesenian. Masyarakat Using menjunjung tinggi adat istiadat yang telah diwariskan secara turun temurun. Kearifan lokal tersebut dapat diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran IPS di Sekolah Dasar pada jenjang kelas tinggi.

Abstract

Abstract: This study discusses how the implementation of small group discussion (SGD) improved the student’s speaking fluency in intermediate class at Ma’had Al-Jami’ah UIN Maliki Malang. This was done based on the learning problems found in the preliminary study that the student’s speaking fluency was 3.5 in communication and 3.53 in explanation. They were not active in speaking fluency either communication or explanation. Furthermore, they did not totally involve in the learning process. This study used classroom action research of Kemmis and Mc Taggart Model with the procedures: planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting the action. The findings show that in cycle I, they got 3.70 in communication and 3.78 in explanation. Finally in cycle 2, their communication in fluency was 4.16 and 4.08 in explanation. This was done by revising the materials to support the discussion. This means that SGD can improve their speaking fluency.Abstrak: Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang bagaimana implementasi strategi diskusi kelompok kecil meningkatkan kemampuan kelancaran berbicara siswa kelas intermediate di Ma’had Al-Jami’ah UIN Maliki Malang. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena ditemukannya masalah pembelajaran pada pra penelitian, yakni kelancaran berbicara mereka masih 3.5 di dalam komunikasi dan 3.53 dalam menjelaskan. Mereka belum aktif dalam komunikasi dan menjelaskan sesuatu. Selain itu, mereka belum semuanya berpartisipasi selama proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitan tindakan kelas menggunakan model teori Kemmis dan Mc Taggart dengan tahapan : perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa di siklus 1, kelancara berbicara mereka menjadi 3.70 di dalam komunikasi dan 3.78 dalam presentasi. Di siklus 2, kelancaran mereka meningkat menjadi 4.16 dalam komunikasi dan 4.08 dalam mejelaskan sesuatu. Hal demikian dilakukakan dengan memperbaiki materi untuk mendukung jalannya diskusi. Ini menunjukkan bahwa diskusi kelompok kecil bisa meningkatkan kelancaran berbicara mereka.

Abstract

Abstract: This research design used reseach and development design, in the form of geography textbook based on critical thinking in subject of Indonesia's Strategic Position as the World Maritime Axis for SMA/MA. The aim of this research is to observe the feasibility/validity and effectiveness of the developed textbook product. The development used the ADDIE development model. ADDIE development has 5 stages, they are: Analyze, Design, Development, Implement, Evaluation, but this research is only in Implement stage, while  product testing stage. Data collection methods and data analysis techniques used validation instruments and closed questionnaire sheets with descriptive presentational data analysis techniques. The results of the research and development are obtained total score of the material validator 93% media 95% language 90%, while the average pre-test score of students in the medium category is 44.4%, the low category is 55.5% and the average post-test score of students in the high category is 42% and medium category 30%, and the score regarding the teacher's response to use geography textbooks based on critical thinking is 93%, and the student’s response score is 92%.Abstrak: Penelitian ini ialah penelitian pengembangan berupa buku teks geografi berbasis critical thinking pada materi Posisi Strategis Indonesia Sebagai Poros Maritim Dunia untuk SMA/MA. Tujuannya untuk melihat kelayakan/kevalidan serta keefektifan produk buku teks yang dikembangkan. Pengembangan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE, yang mana pengembangan ADDIE terdapat lima tahapan, yaitu Analyze, Design, Development, Implement, Evaluation, tetapi penelitian ini hanya di tahap Implement, pada tahap uji coba produk. Metode pengumpulan data serta teknik analisis datanya adalah menggunakan instrument validasi dan lembar angket tertutup dengan teknik analisis data deskriptif presentatif. Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan diperoleh hasil skor total oleh validator materi 93 % media 95% bahasa 90%, adapun skor pre test rata-rata siswa berada kategori sedang 44,4%, kategori rendah 55,5% dan skor postest rerata peserta didik kategori tinggi 42%, dan kategori sedang 30%, serta skor mengenai respons guru terhadap penggunaan produk buku teks geografi berbasis critical thinking adalah 93%, dan skor respon siswa adalah 92%.

Abstract

Abstract: English teachers must have adequtae knowledge of pronunciation like phonetics and phonology. They also must be able to perform a good speaking performance as they must be linguistic models for their students in the class. This study investiagted several phonological aspects of connected speech such as linking, elision, and assimilation by EFL English teachers. The result revealed that assimilation was the most difficult phonological aspects of connected speech rather than linking or elision. The major difference between English and native language of the teachers could be the main reason of their contrains related to connected speech aspects.Abstrak: Guru bahasa Inggris harus memiliki pengetahuan yang memadai tentang pengucapan seperti fonetik dan fonologi. Mereka juga harus mampu berbicara dengan baik karena mereka harus menjadi panutan bagi siswa mereka di kelas. Penelitian ini menyelidiki beberapa aspek fonologis dari connected speech, seperti linking, elision, dan assimilation oleh guru bahasa Inggris. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa asimilasi merupakan aspek fonologis yang paling sulit daripada linking atau elision. Perbedaan utama antara bahasa Inggris dan bahasa pertama guru bisa menjadi alasan utama kendala yang dialami mereka terkait dengan aspek tersebut.

Abstract

Abstract: Research aims (1) to develop online teaching materials (2) to design online teaching materials (3) to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of online teaching materials for science subjects in grade V SD Negeri 32 Bungloe, Bantaeng Regency during Covid-19 era. This used Research and development methods (R & D) which is focused on developing online teaching materials using flipbooks. The ADDIE model consists of 5 stages, namely: analysis, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results showed that the online teaching materials using the developed flipbook were declared valid, where the validation of the material and the media obtained very valid category results. The results of the assessment of respondents in small group trials and teacher responses to teaching material products were very practical, it can be seen from the responses of students and teachers who obtained the very practical category. The development of online teaching materials that are effectively developed, It can be seen from the average learning outcome recapitulation that there is an increase of student learning outcomes between before and after the use of online teaching materials.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian (1) mengembangkan bahan ajar online, (2) mendesain bahan ajar online, dan (3) mengetahui kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan bahan ajar online mata pelajaran IPA di kelas V SD Negeri 32 Bungloe Kabupaten Bantaeng di Era Covid 19. Metode penelitian pengembangan (Researh and Development/R&D) yang difokuskan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar online dengan menggunakan flipbook. Model ADDIE yang terdiri atas lima tahap, yaitu analisis (analysis), desain (design) pengembangan (development), implementasi (implementation), dan evalusai (evaluation). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar online menggunakan flipbook yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid, dimana validasi materi ddan media memperoleh hasil kategori sangat valid. Hasil penilaian responden uji coba kelompok kecil dan tanggapan guru terhadap produk bahan ajar dinyatakan sangat praktis dilihat dari respon siswa dan guru yang memperoleh kategori sangat praktis. Pengembangan bahan ajar online yang dikembangkan efektif dilihat dari rata-rata rekapitulasi hasil belajar menunjukakan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa antara sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan bahan ajar online.

Abstract

Abstract: Reaction rate is concept that involves abstract concepts, chemical phenomena, mathematical operations, and practical activities. The characteristics of it require students to have the ability to think scientifically, understand chemical representations, and have good mathematical and practical skills. Based on several research studies, most of the students missed these four abilities, so the concept of reaction rate is considered difficult and affects students' mental models. It is necessary to analyse students' mental models to see the description of students' mental models in understanding chemical concepts. The purpose of this research was to specify the kind and relationships of student’s mental models in understanding the concept of reaction rate.Abstract: Teori laju reaksi melibatkan konsep abstrak, fenomena kimia, operasi matematik, dan praktikum. Karakteristik konsep mengharuskan peserta didik untuk memiliki penguasaan bernalar ilmiah, memahami representasi kimia, keterampilan aritmetika dan praktikum secara benar. Beberapa studi penelitian mencatat, keempat kemampuan ini belum dikuasai oleh peserta didik, sehingga konsep laju reaksi dianggap sukar dan mempengaruhi model mental peserta didik. Perlu dilakukan analisis model mental peserta didik untuk melihat gambaran model mental peserta didik dalam menguasai konsep kimia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ragam dan hubungan model mental peserta didik dalam memahami konsep laju reaksi.

Abstract

Abstract: Textbooks are one of the most important media used in the teaching and learning process. However, in the Digital Arabic Language Textbook Class X MA Published by the Ministry of Religion in 2020 contains errors from morphological and syntactic aspects. To analyze the error, the researcher used descriptive analysis method. The purpose of this study is to identify errors and make justification efforts so that there is no misunderstanding among students. The percentage of errors found at the morphological level is 66% while at the syntactic level it is 34%. The number of morphological errors is greater, namely 46 errors, while the syntax is 35 errors.Abstrak: Buku Ajar merupakan salah satu media yang sangat penting digunakan dalam proses belajar mengajar. Akan tetapi, dalam Buku Ajar Digital Bahasa Arab Kelas X MA Terbitan Kementerian Agama Tahun 2020 memuat kesalahan dari aspek morfologi dan sintaksis. Untuk menganalisis kesalahan tersebut, peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi kesalahan dan melakukan upaya pembenaran agar tidak terjadi kesalahpahaman pada peserta didik. Presentase kesalahan yang ditemukan pada tataran morfologi sebesar 66% sedangkan pada tataran sintaksis sebesar 34%. Dengan jumlah kesalahan morfologi lebih besar yaitu 46 kesalahan sedangkan pada sintaksisnya sejumlah 35 kesalahan.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to analyze the need for reading comprehension materials for Thai students with an intermediate Indonesian language competency level. Thai students are distinguished in character from students from other countries. Based on the issue, research on the need for reading comprehension materials for intermediate Thai students is imperative. Reading comprehension materials are composed of three crucial aspects, i.e., tangibility, content, and material structure. Results demonstrate that intermediate Thai students called for reading comprehension and grammar materials. There were eight chapters addressing reading comprehension materials, each of which contained the learning objectives, advocating information, exercises, and translation in Thai.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kebutuhan materi dalam bahan ajar membaca pemahaman bagi mahasiswa Thailand dengan kemampuan berbahasa Indonesia tingkat menengah. Mahasiswa asal Thailand memiliki karakteristik khusus yang berbeda dengan mahasiswa asal negara lain. Berdasarkan kekhususan tersebut, diperlukan penelitian tentang kebutuhan mahasiswa Thailand tingkat menengah yang berkaitan dengan materi pembelajaran dalam bahan ajar. Bahan ajar membaca pemahaman memiliki tiga aspek penting, yaitu wujud, isi, dan struktur materi. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kebutuhan bahan ajar bagi mahasiswa Thailand tingkat menengah terdiri atas materi ajar membaca pemahaman dan tata bahasa. Terdapat delapan bab yang berkaitan dengan bahan ajar membaca pemahaman. Setiap bab memuat tujuan pembelajaran, informasi pendukung, latihan, dan terjemahan bahasa Thai.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to reanalyze the existence of a blended learning model to improve social studies learning outcomes. The method used in this research is meta-analysis. This research activity includes problem formulation, tracing, and analyzing relevant research results. Data collection was carried out by searching electronic journals through Google Scholar with the keywords "learning outcomes", "blended learning", "SD social studies learning". Based on the search results, 65 articles were obtained, but based on these articles, only 10 relevant articles were obtained. Data analysis was carried out using a qualitative descriptive method. The results of data analysis showed that the blended learning model was able to improve student learning outcomes starting at the lowest result of 1.65% to the highest result of 64.32% with an average result of 23.32%.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kembali adanya model blended learning terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar IPS. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah meta analisis. Kegiatan penelitian ini, meliputi perumusan masalah, menelusuri, dan menganalisis hasil penelitian yang relevan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menelusuri jurnal elektronik melalui Google Scholar dengan kata kunci “hasil belajar”, “blended learning”, “pembelajaran IPS SD”. Berdasarkan hasil penelusuran tersebut diperoleh 65 artikel, namun berdasarkan artikel tersebut hanya diperoleh 10 artikel yang relevan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa model blended learning mampu meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran siswa dimulai pada hasil terendah 1,65% sampai pada hasil yang tertinggi 64,32% dengan hasil rata-rata 23,32%.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the implementation of teaching material supplements based on local wisdom in the sub-theme of types of work. This research method is development research with a 4-D development model (define, design, develop and disseminate). The research data obtained by the validation of 90% teacher book experts, 90% student books with very valid criteria, 95.83% teacher book attractiveness test results, while 95.23% student books both reached very attractive criteria, practicality test results on teacher observations 93, 27%, and student activity reached 93.32%, both of which showed very good criteria. The data from the teacher response questionnaire reached 95.31%, the student response questionnaire reached 91.80% which shows very practical criteria. The results of the product effectiveness test showed that student learning outcomes had increased from the average score of 56.09 pretest results to 83.77 at the end of the post-test.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis implementasi suplemen bahan ajar berbasis kearifan lokal pada subtema Jenis-jenis pekerjaan. Metode penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model pengembangan 4-D (define, design, develop dan disseminate). Data hasil penelitian diperoleh validasi ahli  buku guru 90%, buku siswa 90% dengan kriteria sangat valid, hasil uji kemenarikan buku guru  95,83%, sedangkan buku siswa 95,23% keduanya mencapai kriteria sangat menarik, hasil uji kepraktisan pada observasi guru 93,27%, dan aktivitas siswa mencapai 93,32% keduanya menunjukkan kriteria sangat baik. Data hasil angket respon guru mencapai  95,31%, angket respon siswa mencapai  91,80% yang menunjukkan kriteria sangat praktis. Hasil uji keefektifan produk menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dari nilai rata-rata hasil pretest 56,09 meningkat menjadi 83,77 pada akhir posttest.
