Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve motivation and learning outcomes biology in grade X SMAN 1 TASBAR through inquiry learning model. This research is a classroom action research, data collection technique through observation and tests. Subjects were students of the second semester class XB SMAN 1 TASBAR year 2011/2012 amounted to 35 students. The results obtained in this study showed an increased motivation and learning outcomes of students, the percentage of first cycle activity by 75% and the second cycle by 85%. While the percentage of mastery learning outcomes in the first cycle of 62.32% and a second cycle of 84.28%.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar Biologi pada siswa kelas X SMAN 1 TASBAR melalui model pembelajaran inkuiri. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui metode observasi dan tes. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XB semester II SMAN 1 TASBAR tahun 2011/2012 yang berjumlah 35 siswa. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa, persentase aktivitas siklus pertama sebesar 75% dan siklus kedua sebesar 85%. Sementara itu, persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar pada siklus pertama sebesar 62,32% dan siklus kedua sebesar 84,28%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is analyzing the role of agricultural extension Hall (BPP), analyze the process stages of the occurrence of agricultural learning, and analyze agricultural learning model on a group of farmers. This qualitative research methods are case studies. Data collection techniques: interviews, observation and study of the document. The result is that (1) the existence of the role of agricultural extension officers as education, dissemination of information/innovation facilitators, consultants, supervision, monitors and evaluators, (2) the learning process starts from his protégé participant fedback or, the lesson process, then the output or outputs of learning outcomes to farmers, and (3) learning Models include (a) Airy School Integrated pest control (SLPHT); (b) Pilot planting padi cultivation; (c) guidance techniques; d) exercises and visits; (e) planting synchronously.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis peran Balai Penyuluhan Pertanian (BPP), menganalisis proses tahapan terjadinya pembelajaran pertanian, dan menganalisis model pembelajaran pertanian pada kelompok tani. Metode penelitian ini berupa kualitatif studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data, meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen. Hasilnya bahwa (1) adanya peran penyuluh pertanian sebagai edukasi, diseminasi informasi/inovasi fasilitator, konsultan, supervisi, pemantau dan evaluator, (2) proses Pembelajaran dimulai dari masukan atau peserta didiknya, proses pembelajarannya, kemudian keluaran dari hasil pembelajaran kepada petani, dan (3) model pembelajaran, meliputi (a) Sekolah Lapang Pengendalian Hama Terpadu (SLPHT); (b) percontohan budidaya tanam padi; (c) bimbingan teknik; (d) Latihan dan Kunjungan (LAKU); (e) tanam serempak.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve students’ achievement. This study is a classroom action research involving 33 students of Public Senior High School 3 Barabai at Barabai, South Kalimantan. The data were gained from the results of pre liminary, cycle I and cycle II. The result of the study strued that there was an improvement between pre liminary and cycle I. the mean score is 30,31%, but it was not enought to reach the classical criteria. meanwile, there was a better improvement from cycle i to cycle II the mean score was 12,12% it means that the application of problem based learning model combined whit team assisted individualization can improve students learning achivement.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang melibatkan 33 siswa di SMA Negeri 3 Barabai di Barabai, Kalimantan Selatan. Data diperoleh dari hasil pengambilan data awal, siklus I dan siklus II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan antara pra siklus dan siklus I. Skor rata-rata adalah 30,31%, namun tidak cukup untuk memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan klasikal. Rata-rata, ada peningkatan yang lebih baik dari siklus I ke siklus II dengan skor rata-rata 12,12% artinya penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dipadu dengan Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

The material is considered to be still difficult mostly related to the mechanism of action of the organ. SMP 18 Malang used as a place to study because there are elements of inquiry has actually been used by teachers, but still fragmentary, syntactic inquiry has not been implemented in full. Learning science most are still using the conventional method of the lectures. The medium used there only rely on manual print books, there module be accompanied inquiry interactive multimedia no one has made. Inquiry-based modules with interactive multimedia expected to be used to support student learning. This type of research is the development of research. The research model development using Thiagarajan. Stages Thiagarajan models include define, design, develop, and desseminate. However on hold at the stage of development research desseminate. Analysis of data using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed 82.14% of matter expert validation, validation media experts 83.33%, teachers validation 98.88%, validation students 94.19%. Based on the achievement of product development validation results are valid and fit for use. Suggestions that more needs to be done should be printed and manufactured product development.Materi yang dianggap masih sulit kebanyakan yang terkait dengan mekanisme kerja organ. SMP 18 Malang dijadikan untuk tempat penelitian karena disana unsur-unsur inkuiri sebenarnya sudah digunakan oleh guru, namun masih terpisah-pisah, sintak inkuiri belum dilaksanakan secara utuh. Pembelajaran IPA kebanyakan masih dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan metode konvensional yaitu dengan ceramah. Media yang digunakan di sana hanya mengandalkan buku cetak panduan, di sana modul berbasis inkuiri disertai multimedia interaktif belum ada yang membuat. Modul berbasis inkuiri disertai multimedia interaktif diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai penunjang belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian merupakan penelitian pengembangan. Model penelitian pengembangan menggunakan Thiagarajan. Tahapan model pengembangan Thiagarajan meliputi define, design, develop, dan desseminate. Namun pada tahan penelitian pengembangan hanya pada tahapan desseminate. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan validasi ahli materi 82,14%, validasi ahli media 83,33%, validasi guru 98,88%, validasi siswa 94,19%. Berdasarkan pencapaian hasil validasi produk pengembangan telah valid dan layak digunakan. Saran yang perlu dilakukan lebih lanjut sebaiknya produk pengembangan dicetak dan diproduksi.

Abstract

Mathematical connection is an interconnection among concepts in a similar topic and an interconnection among materials in a particular topic with other topic in mathematics. When students can connect mathematical ideas, their understanding is deeper and more lasting. This research studies about the structure of mathematical connection of the students with a high mathematical abilities in solving problem on Linear Equation System Two Variable (LESTV) by giving individual worksheet and interviewing one subject with a high mathematical abilities. The structure of mathematical connection is studied by linking the indicators of mathematical connection that are: (1) recognizing and utilizing the relationship between mathematical ideas, and (2) understanding how the mathematical ideas are connected and built each other resulting the ideas thoroughly and coherently.Koneksi matematis adalah hubungan antar konsep dalam satu topik yang sama, serta hubungan antar materi dalam matematika. Jika siswa dapat membuat banyak koneksi matematis, maka pembelajaran akan bermakna dan optimal. Penelitian ini mengkaji struktur koneksi matematis siswa berkemampuan matematis tinggi dalam menyelesaikan soal SPLDV dengan memberikan lembar tugas individu dan melakukan wawancara kepada satu subjek yang memiliki kemampuan matematis tinggi. Hasil tes dianalisis menggunakan indikator koneksi matematis (1) mengenal dan menggunakan hubungan diantara ide-ide matematis, (2) memahami bagaimana ide matematis saling berhubungan dan membangun satu sama lain untuk menghasilkan keseluruhan yang koheren.

Abstract

Inquiry learning is learning that engages students directly and in finding the optimal mathematical concepts. The purpose of this research is to describe the inquiry learning to improve students' learning outcomes in trigonometry material. Subjects were students of class X Preparation Graphic (PS-B) SMK Negeri 4 Malang year 2015/2016 which amounted to 32 students. This type of research is classroom action research. Inquiry learning is done consists of orientation, define problems, formulate hypotheses, collect data, test hypotheses and drawing conclusions. Based on the measures of inquiry that students formed into groups, students discuss up with students drawing conclusions from a comparison of trigonometry. The results showed that the application of this inquiry learning increase understanding of trigonometry concepts based on observations obtained with the activities of teachers and students in both categories, while the final test results obtained measures students' test results also in both categories.Pembelajaran inkuiri merupakan pembelajaran yang melibatkan siswa secara langsung dan optimal dalam menemukan konsep Matematika. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah mendeskripsikan pembelajaran inkuiri untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi trigonometri. Subjek penelitian ialah siswa kelas X Persiapan Grafika (PS-B) SMK Negeri 4 Malang tahun 2015/2016 yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian tindakan kelas. Pembelajaran inkuiri yang dilakukan terdiri atas orientasi, merumuskan masalah, merumuskan hipotesis, mengumpulkan data, menguji hipotesis, dan merumuskan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan langkah-langkah inkuiri tersebut siswa dibentuk menjadi beberapa kelompok, siswa berdiskusi sampai dengan siswa merumuskan kesimpulan dari perbandingan trigonometri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran inkuiri ini meningkatkan hasil belajar materi trigonometri dan berdasarkan pengamatan diperoleh aktivitas guru dan siswa dalam kategori baik, sedangkan hasil tes akhir tindakan diperoleh hasil tes siswa juga dalam kategori baik.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out (1) extracurricular activities, (2) participation of school committees based on the role of school committees which include: (a) advisory agency, (b) supporting agency, (c) controlling agency, and (d) mediator agency. The research method used in this research is qualitative research method research type studi kasus. This research was conducted at SDN Kauman I and SDN Rampal Celaket II Malang. Research subjects in this study are principals, school committee leaders, school committee members, extracurricular coordinators and extracurricular coaches. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews and document studies. The results showed that school committee participation based on the role of school committee can be categorized well, seen from school committee involvement in extracurricular activity planning, school committee support on infrastructure and services at extracurricular activities, school committee participation on the implementation of extracurricular activities both race, stage art as well as outdoor activities such as camping persami.Tujuan penelitian ini, yaitu untuk mengetahui (1) kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, (2) partisipasi komite sekolah berdasarkan peran komite sekolah yang meliputi (a) pemberi petimbangan (advisory agency), (b) pendukung (supporting agency), (c) pengontrol (controlling agency), dan (d) penghubung (mediator agency). Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif jenis penelitian studikasus. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN Kauman I dan SDN Rampal Celaket II Malang. Subjek penelitian dalam dalam penelitian ini yaitu kepala sekolah, ketua komite sekolah, anggota komite sekolah, koordinator ekstrakurikuler dan pembina ekstrakurikuler. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi komite sekolah berdasarkan peran komite sekolah dapat dikategorikan baik, terlihat dari keterlibatan komite sekolah pada perencanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, dukungan komite sekolah pada sarana prasarana dan layanan pada kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, keikutsertaan komite sekolah terhadap berlangsungnya pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler baik bersifat lomba, pentas seni serta kegiatan di luar sekolah, seperti kemah persami.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a Wireless Networks printed module based on 2013 Curriculum and test the feasibility of the printed module. The development of the module is done by using ADDIE model of research and development. ADDIE development stages include (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, and (5) Evaluation. The subject for this module trial consists of media expert, material expert, teachers, and students. The product result of this study is a printed module. This module consists of two versions, namely teachers module and students module. Based on the results of trial, it obtained the percentage of each subject tested as follows. First, the media expert obtained the percentage of 93.20%. Second, a material obtained the average of 94.90%. Third, small-scale trials, obtained the percentage of 86.11%. Fourth, large-scale trials, obtained an average percentage of 86.98%. In the field trial results obtained average value of pre-test of 57.69, and the average pos- test score of 82.76. Thus, it can be concluded that the development of Wireless Networking printed module for XII graders vocational skills on Computer Engineering and Networks program based on 2013 Curriculum is feasible to be used as teaching material in the learning process.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan modul cetak Jaringan Nirkabel berdasarkan Kurikulum 2013 dan menguji kelayakan modul cetak Jaringan Nirkabel berdasarkan Kurikulum 2013. Pengembangan modul dilakukan dengan menggunakan model penelitian dan pengembangan ADDIE. Tahap pengembangan ADDIE, meliputi (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, dan (5) Evaluation. Subjek uji coba modul ini terdiri atas ahli media, ahli materi, guru, dan siswa. Produk yang dihasilkan berupa modul cetak. Modul ini terdiri atas dua versi, yaitu modul pegangan guru dan modul pegangan siswa. Berdasarkan hasil iji coba, diperoleh persentase dari tiap-tiap subjek uji coba sebagai berikut. Pertama, ahli media diperoleh persentase sebesar 93,20%. Kedua, ahli materi diperoleh persentase rerata sebesar 94,90%. Ketiga, uji coba skala kecil, diperoleh persentase rerata sebesar 86,11%. Keempat, uji coba skala luas, diperoleh persentase rerata sebesar 86,98%. Pada uji coba lapangan diperoleh hasil rata-rata nilai pre test sebesar 57,69, dan rata-rata nilai post test sebesar 82,76. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan modul cetak Jaringan Nirkabel untuk SMK kelas XII program keahlian Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan berdasarkan Kurikulum 2013 ini layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Students’ achievement in mastering symmetry is estimated being influenced by their spatial ability. The objectives of study are to: (1) describe students’ spatial ability, (2) describe students’ mastering of symmetry, and (3) find out the correlation between students’ spatial ability and their mastering of symmetry. This research is a quantitative descriptive and correlational research. Research data were analyzed using Pearson product moment correlation. Findings revealed that: (1) 40% of students have spatial ability in low category, (2) students’ mastering of symmetry included in the good category, and (3) students’ spatial ability is influenced their mastering of symmetry.Kesuksesan mahasiswa dalam memahami materi Simetri diduga dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan spasial yang mereka miliki. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan kemampuan spasial mahasiswa jurusan kimia dan (2) mendeskripsikan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap materi Simetri, serta (3) menguji korelasi kemampuan spasial dan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap materi Simetri. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dan korelasional. Analisis korelasi kemampuan spasial dan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap materi Simetri dilakukan melalui analisis parametrik Pearson product moment correlation. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) sebanyak 40% mahasiswa masih memiliki kemampuan spasial rendah; (2) pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap materi Simetri termasuk dalam kategori baik; (3) kemampuan spasial memengaruhi kesuksesan mahasiswa dalam memahami materi Simetri.

Abstract

The aim of this research is developing student activity sheets (LKS) with model problem creating to improve students’ ability to think critically. This research is a developmental research with Plomp’s development model. This development model consists of three stages that are (1) preliminary research; (2) prototype phase; (3) assessment phase. The test subjects involved 27 students of class VIII of SMPN 1 Gambut. Based on the results of research from the design of LKS consists of cover, time allocation, learning objectives, content of LKS and assessment. Activities in the LKS consists of five stages of model problem creating that are learning objectives, problem context, create the problem, anticipate students’ solutions and reflect. The contents of the LKS consists questions that guide students to find mathematical concepts or principles, issues that need to be spent students and guide students to critical thinking that are basic clarification, basic for decision, inference and advanced clarification. The validations results from three validators showed that the LKS satisfied valid criteria. As a result on field testing in SMPN 1 Gambut students’ responses were positive. In addition, this learning instrument can increase students’ ability to think critically by 74%.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKS dengan model problem creating yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini termasuk pengembangan dengan model pengembangan Plomp, yaitu (1) preliminary research (penelitian awal); (2) prototyping phase (fase pengembangan); (3) assessment phase (fase penilaian). Subjek uji coba melibatkan 27 siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Gambut. Desain LKS terdiri atas cover, alokasi waktu, tujuan pembelajaran, isi LKS, dan penilaian. Kegiatan dalam LKS terdiri atas lima tahapan model problem creating, yaitu menyampaikan tujuan pembelajaran, konteks masalah, menciptakan masalah, antisipasi jawaban, dan refleksi. Isi LKS terdiri dari pertanyaan-pertanyaan yang menuntun siswa menemukan konsep atau prinsip matematika, masalah yang perlu diselesaikan siswa, dan memandu siswa untuk berpikir kritis antara lain memberikan penjelasan dasar, membangun keterampilan dasar, menyimpulkan dan memberikan penjelasan lanjut. Hasil validasi LKS dari tiga validator menunjukkan bahwa LKS memenuhi kriteria valid. Berdasarkan uji coba lapangan di SMPN 1 Gambut respon siswa terhadap LKS positif. Selain itu, peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sebesar 74%.
