Abstract

This article aims to describe developing professionalism of teachers through educational supervision. As related to the discussion isteacher professionalism includes understanding of the profession, understanding of professionalism, measurement of teacher professionalism, and the influence of teacher professionalism on learning outcomes. Andeducational supervision includes understanding of educational supervision, the objectives and functions of educational supervision, types of educational supervision, as well as the principles and approaches in educational supervision. The results of the discussion can show (a) develop teacher professionalism possessed ability which is the result of cognitive work to carry out tasks so that students obtain optimal learning outcomes, so that the creation of quality or quality education, and (b) through the supervision of education  coaching activities or activities carried out by a professional to assist teachers and other education personnel in improving teaching materials, methods and evaluations by continuously stimulating, coordinating and mentoring so that teachers become more professional in increasing the achievement of school goals

Abstract

Abstract: The effectiveness of administering vocational education and training programs depends on the cooperation with DU / DI. The cooperative relationship between schools and industry is generally held to support the process of forming the learners’ competencies to produce the quality of graduates that are in accordance with industry needs. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of industrial work practices through the collaboration between schools and industry in achieving the goals of vocational education. This study used a qualitative approach with the type of multi-case research which took the research sample of two vocational schools in Jember Regency, Ambulu District, which had different backgrounds. The results of the study explained that the implementation of internships through collaboration between schools and industry consisted: (1) internship planning; (2) Guidance of apprenticeship; and (3) apprenticeship assessment.Abstrak: Efektivitas penyelenggaraan program pendidikan dan pelatihan kejuruan bergantung pada kerja sama dengan DU/DI. Hubungan kerjasama antara sekolah dengan industri umumnya di selenggarakan sebagai penunjang proses pembentukan kompetensi siswa sehingga menghasilkan kualitas lulusan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan industri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi praktik kerja indusri melalui jalinan kerjasama antara sekolah dengan industri dalam pencapaian tujuan pendidikan kejuruan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian multi kasus yang mengambil sampel penelitian dua SMK di Kabupaten Jember Kecamatan Ambulu yang memiliki perbedaan latar. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa Implementasi prakerin melalui jalinan kerjasama antara sekolah dengan industri terdiri dari (1) perencanaan prakerin; (2) pembimbingan prakerin;  (3) penilaian prakerin.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose: Find out actions, causes, and efforts to resolve bullying in SDN A and SDN B. Techniques for collecting data were observation, interviews, and document studies. The results: (1) the form of bullying is categorized into 3 types are physical, verbal and relational bullying, (2) causes of bullying: negative effects of the home environment, students feel powerful and feared in class, jealous of other students, and lack of empathy for students with special needs, (3) efforts: teachers approach the students involved in bullying, put up placards about prohibiting acts of bullying, and collaborate with Babinkamtibmas and the Social Service.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui tindak, penyebab, dan upaya mengatasi perundungan di SDN A dan SDN B. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian (1) bentuk perundungan dikategorikan menjadi tiga jenis perundungan, yaitu perundungan fisik, verbal, dan relasional, (2) penyebab perundungan pengaruh negatif dari lingkungan rumah, siswa merasa berkuasa dan ditakuti di kelas, siswa merasa iri dengan siswa lain, dan kurangnya empati terhadap siswa berkebutuhan khusus, (3) upaya: guru melakukan pendekatan kepada siswa yang terlibat perundungan, memasang plakat tentang larangan melakukan tindak perundungan, dan melakukan kerjasama dengan Babinkamtibmas dan Dinas Sosial untuk mengatasi tindak perundungan yang terjadi.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was aimed to knowing the implementation of character education through school culture. with a focus on religious character, discipline character and independent character. This study used a qualitative approach with the design of the study of multi case (multycase studies). The data collection technique of this research were the observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study showed that the implementation of character education through school culture focused on religious character, discipline, and independence. Each character is obtained through routine activities, spontaneous activities, and exemplary.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi pendidikan karakter melalui budaya sekolah dengan fokus karakter religius, karakter disiplin, dan karakter mandiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan rancangan studi multi kasus (multycase studies). Teknik observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi digunakan dalam pengambilan data pada penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter melalui budaya sekolah difokuskan pada karakter agama, disiplin, dan kemandirian. Setiap karakter diperoleh melalui kegiatan rutin, kegiatan spontan, dan keteladanan.

Abstract

Abstract: The study aims to determine the effect of the application of The 5E Learning Cycle model rather than conventional model on mastery of concepts and problem solving fractions of fifth grade elementary school students. The research is using experimental method. The research population is all group learning in class V SDN Tunjungsekar. The sample of study consisted of 2 classes, Va and Vb classes. This study uses essay tests to collect data. The data uses Basic Competencies 3.1 and 4.1 about addition operations of fractions with different denominators. All data were processed and analyzed using statistical techniques. The results showed that there was a significant influence on the application of The 5E Learning Cycle learning model rather than conventional learning on the mastery of concepts and problem solving in the fifth grade students of SDN Tunjungsekar 01 Malang.Abstrak: Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh penerapan model The 5E Learning Cycle daripada model konvensional terhadap penguasaan konsep dan penyelesaian masalah pecahan siswa kelas V SD. Metode eksperimen dipergunakan dalam penelitian ini. Populasi penelitian yaitu seluruh rombongan belajar kelas V SDN Tunjungsekar 01. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu siswa kelas Va dan Vb. Penelitian menggunakan tes essay untuk mengumpulkan data. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa skor hasil tes pecahan Kompetensi Dasar 3.1 dan 4.1 tentang operasi penjumlahan pecahan dengan penyebut berbeda. Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya dianalisis dengan mempergunakan teknik statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan pada penerapan model The 5E Learning Cycle daripada model konvensional terhadap penguasaan konsep dan penyelesaian masalah pecahan siswa kelas V SDN Tunjungsekar 01 Malang.

Abstract

Abstract: This study discusses how to implement financial literacy education in elementary school students. Financial literacy education is a person's activity in applying, understanding and managing information to make financial decisions. Financial literacy education can be taught early to provide knowledge and skills in improving financial well-being. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach to describe the activities of teachers and students in the implementation of financial literacy education in elementary schools. This study shows that the implementation of financial literacy education can provide positive attitudes for students to participate in production activities and motivate students to save. Teachers can teach financial literacy education in accordance with the basic competencies that already exist in subjects such as mathematics and social studies. Teachers can teach the material the role of the economy in an effort to improve the lives of the people by introducing the type of business and doing activities to make a work and sell it.Abstrak: Penelitian ini membahas tentang bagaimana melaksanakan pendidikan literasi finansial pada siswa sekolah dasar. Pendidikan literasi finansial merupakan aktivitas seseorang dalam mengaplikasikan, memahami, dan mengelola informasi untuk membuat suatu keputusan finansialnya. Pendidikan literasi finansial dapat diajarkan sejak dini untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan finansialnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis deskriptif, untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas guru dan siswa dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan literasi finansial di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pendidikan literasi finansial dapat memberikan sikap positif siswa untuk berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan produksi dan memotivasi siswa untuk menabung. Guru dapat mengajarkan pendidikan literasi finansial sesuai dengan kompetensi dasar yang sudah ada pada mata pelajaran, seperti Matematika dan IPS. Guru dapat mengajarkan materi peran ekonomi dalam upaya menyejahterakan kehidupan masyarakat dengan mengenalkan jenis usaha serta melakukan kegiatan membuat sebuah karya dan menjualnya.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out (1) extracurricular activities, (2) participation of school committees based on the role of school committees which include: (a) advisory agency, (b) supporting agency, (c) controlling agency, and (d) mediator agency. The research method used in this research is qualitative research method research type studi kasus. This research was conducted at SDN Kauman I and SDN Rampal Celaket II Malang. Research subjects in this study are principals, school committee leaders, school committee members, extracurricular coordinators and extracurricular coaches. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews and document studies. The results showed that school committee participation based on the role of school committee can be categorized well, seen from school committee involvement in extracurricular activity planning, school committee support on infrastructure and services at extracurricular activities, school committee participation on the implementation of extracurricular activities both race, stage art as well as outdoor activities such as camping persami.Tujuan penelitian ini, yaitu untuk mengetahui (1) kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, (2) partisipasi komite sekolah berdasarkan peran komite sekolah yang meliputi (a) pemberi petimbangan (advisory agency), (b) pendukung (supporting agency), (c) pengontrol (controlling agency), dan (d) penghubung (mediator agency). Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif jenis penelitian studikasus. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN Kauman I dan SDN Rampal Celaket II Malang. Subjek penelitian dalam dalam penelitian ini yaitu kepala sekolah, ketua komite sekolah, anggota komite sekolah, koordinator ekstrakurikuler dan pembina ekstrakurikuler. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi komite sekolah berdasarkan peran komite sekolah dapat dikategorikan baik, terlihat dari keterlibatan komite sekolah pada perencanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, dukungan komite sekolah pada sarana prasarana dan layanan pada kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, keikutsertaan komite sekolah terhadap berlangsungnya pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler baik bersifat lomba, pentas seni serta kegiatan di luar sekolah, seperti kemah persami.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim to describe how the guided inquiry learning in mathematics for elementary school students in Class V. The descriptive qualitative research is used as the design of this study. The data collection procedures such as observasion, interviews and documentation is used. Analysis of the data used in this study is an interactive analysis. In the learning  activities, there are using three components of the data analysis: data reduction, data presentation and verification. Based on the data analysis, it was concluded that the fifth grade teacher at SDN Balonggemek 1 Jombang has been applied the guided inquiry learning in Mathematics, even though the application of guided inquiry learning is not fulfill a proximately.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing pada mata pelajaran matematika untuk siswa Sekolah Dasar Kelas V. Rancangan penelitian pada penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Peneliti menggunakan prosedur pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu analisis interaktif. Pembelajaran ini terdapat tiga komponen analisis data, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Berdasarkan analisis data, didapatkan hasil bahwa guru kelas V di SDN Balonggemek 1 Jombang sudah menerapkan pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing pada mata pelajaran matematika dengan cukup baik, walaupun dalam penerapan pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing belum berjalan secara maksimal.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to know the relationship between the implementation of 5R work culture in the school, the perception of teacher’s personality competence, the understanding of Islamic religion, and the vocational characteristics of TKJ competence students in Islamic-based Vocational Schools. This study involved TKJ competence students in Islamic-based Vocational Schools using ex-post facto research design. Meanwhile, the analysis technique used was regression analysis. The research results showed that the implementation of 5R work culture, the perception of teacher’s personality competence, and the understanding of religion of TKJ competence students in the Islamic-based Vocational Schools with a predicate of fair or moderate.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara penerapan budaya kerja 5R di sekolah, persepsi tentang kompetensi kepribadian guru, pemahaman Agama Islam dengan karakter kejuruan siswa Kompetensi Keahlian TKJ di SMK berbasis Islam. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa Kompetensi Keahlian TKJ di SMK berbasis Islam menggunakan rancangan penelitian ex-post facto, sedangkan teknik analisisnya menggunakan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Budaya Kerja 5R, persepsi kompetensi kepribadian guru, dan pemahaman Agama siswa Kompetensi Keahlian TKJ di SMK berbasis Islam se-Kabupaten Malang secara simultan berkorelasi dengan variabel Karakter Kejuruan meskipun dengan predikat cukup atau sedang.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan mengakaji peluang dan tantangan pengembangan madrasah, khususnya yang berbasis pesantren. Artikel dibuat dengan meninjau dan mengumpulkan informasi dari berbagai referensi baik buku, artikel dan jurnal yang digunakan sebagai bahan dalam mempelajari dan menambah wawasan secara konseptual yang berhubungan dengan peluang dan tantangan pengembangan madrasah yang berbasis pesantren di era modern. Madrasah merupakan salah satu lembaga pendidikan alternatif dan mempunyai kesempatan yang sama untuk menjadi lembaga pendidikan yang diperhitungkan dalam dinamika perubahan sosial. Namun demikian sebagai sebuah konsekuensi logis, madrasah harus melakukan upaya-upaya agar mampu mengembangakan setiap sektor dalam rangka mewujudkan tujuan organisasinya. Upaya pengembangan madrasah di pesantren harus bisa mewujudkan kriteria pendidikan unggulan yang akan melahirkan sumber daya manusia yang memiliki kapabilitas dalam penguasaan pengetahuan dan teknologi yang dijiwai oleh nilai-nilai luhur keagamaan. Perwujudan madrasah sebagai institusi yang mampu memberikan pelayanan berupa pendidikan yang unggul, maka pesantren perlu diarahkan pemaduan antara keunggulan dalam bidang intelektual dan keterampilan dengan keunggulan dalam bidang pengetahuan keagamaan termasuk di dalamnya keunggulan dalam bidang kepribadian, keimanan dan ketaqwaan, dengan cara membuka diri dan akomodatif terhadap aspirasi dan tuntutan masyarakat serta mengaktualisasi komitmen dalam membangun pendidikan bermutu secara integral dalam seluruh proses pelaksanaan pendidikan melalui habituasi untuk mampu memahami realitas pendidikan sesuai dengan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. AbstractThis article aims to examine the opportunities and challenges of developing madrasah, especially those based on Islamic boarding schools (pesantren). Articles are made by reviewing and gathering information from various references both books, articles, and journals that are used as a material in learning and conceptually adding insight related to the opportunities and challenges of developing pesantren-based madrasah in the modern era. Madrasah is an alternative educational institution and has the same opportunity to become an educational institution that is taken into account in the dynamics of social change. However, as a logical consequence, madrasah must make efforts to be able to develop each sector in order to realize the goals of the organization. Madrasah's development efforts in Islamic boarding school must be able to realize the criteria of the superior education that will give birth to human resources who have the capability in mastering knowledge and technology that are imbued with religious noble values. The realization of madrasah as an institution that is able to provide services in the form of superior education, the Islamic boarding school needs to be directed towards the integration of intellectual and skill excellence in the field of religious knowledge including excellence in the fields of personality, faith, and devotion, by opening up and accommodating towards aspirations and demands of the community and actualizing commitments to build quality education in an integrated manner throughout the whole process of implementing education through habituation to be able to understand the reality of education in accordance with the development of science and technology.
