Abstract

Abstract: This research was aimed to compare senior high school misconception with different class level on heat and temperature. This study used a survey method with subjects of class XI and XII as many as 68 high school students in Kediri. The instrument used is in the form of two-tier items as many as 11 questions. Student responses to items are categorized into three scientific knowledge, errors, and misconceptions. The results of the study showed that grade XI students experienced a misconception of 54% and class XII students of 63%. Most students experience misconceptions in the concept of thermal equilibrium. This research needs to be followed up with various efforts to overcome misconceptions in physics learning.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengomparasikan miskonsepsi siswa SMA dengan jenjang kelas berbeda pada suhu dan kalor. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan subjek siswa kelas XI dan kelas XII sebanyak 68 siswa SMA di wilayah Kediri. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa butir soal two-tier tentang suhu dan kalor sebanyak 11 soal. Respon siswa terhadap butir soal dikategorikan menjadi tiga, yaitu pengetahuan ilmiah, kesalahan, dan miskonsepsi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas XI mengalami miskonsepsi sebesar 54% dan siswa kelas XII sebesar 63%. Sebagian besar siswa mengalami miskonsepsi pada konsep kesetimbangan termal. Penelitian ini perlu ditindaklanjuti dengan berbagai upaya untuk mengatasi miskonsepsi dalam pembelajaran fisika.

Abstract

Abstract: Low skills of Vocational Secondary School graduate influence the productivity of skilled workers in the industrial sector. Their competency tests have not been able to describe abilities. Their competence is not enough to win the competition. The abilities listed in the certificate has not shown actual competence. The number of requires workforce continues to grow, but their competencies are not balanced. This paper aims to analyze the implementation and effect of industry demand aspects toward UKK in SMK. The result is industry demand aspects are not correlated with competency tests. Industry demand aspects did not affect competency tests.Abstrak: Rendahnya keterampilan lulusan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan memengaruhi produktivitas pekerja terampil di sektor industri. Uji Kompetensi Keahlian belum mampu menggambarkan kemampuan lulusan SMK. Kompetensi lulusan SMK tidak cukup untuk memenangkan persaingan di pasar tenaga kerja. Kemampuan yang tercantum dalam sertifikat Uji Kompetensi Keahlian tidak sesuai dengan kompetensi lulusan SMK. Jumlah tenaga kerja yang dibutuhkan terus bertambah, tetapi kompetensi lulusan tidak seimbang. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi dan pengaruh aspek-aspek tuntutan industri terhadap Uji Kompetensi Keahlian di SMK. Hasilnya, aspek-aspek tuntutan industri secara signifikan tidak memengaruhi Uji Kompetensi Keahlian.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was aimed to describing the mistakes made by the eighth grade students of SMPN 2 Tiris in Probolinggo district in solving the story problems related to the Pythagorean Theorem. Three subjects were selected to solve the story problem of the Pythagorean Theorem then interviewed. The analysis used was based on conceptual error, procedural and calculation. The results showed that in the conceptual stage the subject made a mistake in drawing a right triangle and determining the sloping side. Procedural errors are made, namely the subject makes a withdrawal of the root in the right segment even though in the left side is still a square. While at the calculation stage the subject made a mistake in determining the results of the square root and the difference so that it was wrong in the final result.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Tiris Kabupaten Probolinggo dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita terkait Teorema Pythagoras. Tiga subjek dipilih untuk menyelesaikan soal cerita Teorema Pythagoras kemudian diwawancara. Analisis yang digunakan berdasarkan kesalahan konseptual, prosedural, dan komputasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada tahap konseptual subjek melakukan kesalahan dalam menggambar segitiga siku-siku dan menentukan sisi miringnya. Kesalahan prosedural yang dilakukan yaitu subjek melakukan penarikan akar pada ruas kanan padahal di ruas kiri masih bentuk kuadrat. Pada tahap penghitungan subjek melakukan kesalahan dalam menentukan hasil akar kuadrat dan selisih sehingga salah dalam hasil akhir.

Abstract

Abstract: Aims to produce valid teaching materials in terms of the validation of media experts, material experts, field practitioners, and practically in terms of student responses. The development model refers to the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). Data retrieval using the teaching material validation sheet and student response questionnaire. The results of the validation of teaching materials by the media expert validator was 88.42%, the material experts amounted to 92.35% of field practitioners as much as 89.13%, and the student response was 86.92%. From the results, teaching materials are very valid or very well used for learning Natural Resource Management subjects.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan bahan ajar yang valid ditinjau dari hasil validasi ahli bahan ajar, ahli materi, praktisi lapangan, dan bahan ajar yang praktis ditinjau dari respons mahasiswa.  Pengembangan bahan ajar mengikuti tahapan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar validasi bahan ajar dan kuesioner respons mahasiswa. Hasil validasi yang diperoleh dari validator ahli bahan ajar sebesar 88,42%, ahli materi sebesar 92,35% praktisi lapangan sebesar 89,13%, dan respons mahasiswa sebesar 86,92%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis maka bahan ajar sangat valid atau sangat baik digunakan untuk pembelajaran matakuliah Pengelolaan Sumberdaya Alam.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the differences in the ability to think critic of elementary school students by applying the model of Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Conventional. This type of research that is a quasi-experimental design Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Number of respondents 72 students, 36 students in grade control (conventional) and the experimental class of 36 students (PBL). Instruments used the descriptions written tests. Based on research results using the Independent Sample T-Test results obtained 0.000 <0.05. This means that there are difference significant between critical thinking skills in the classroom with the conventional model and PBL. These results are supported by the acquisition of the average yield of critical thinking skills acquisition experimental class with a mean = 14.2, while the control class to get mean = 12.4. So it could be concluded that there were significant differences of critical thinking skills class with PBL and conventional models.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan guna mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan berpikir ktitis siswa SD dengan menerapakan model Problem Baased Learning (PBL) dan Konvensional. Jenis penelitian ini yakni kuasi eksperimen berdesain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Jumlah responden 72 siswa, 36 siswa kelas kontrol (dengan konvensional) dan 36 siswa kelas eksperimen (dengan PBL). Instrumen yang dipakai yakni tes tulis uraian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menggunakan Independent Sample T-Test diperoleh hasil 0,000 < 0,05. Hal tersebut berarti ada perbedaan yang significan antara kemampuan berpikir kritis pada kelas dengan model konvensional dan PBL. Hasil tersebut didukung dengan perolehan hasil rata-rata keterampilan berpikir kritis kelas eksperimen dengan perolehan rerata = 14,2 sedangkan kelas kontrol mendapatkan rerata = 12,4. Sehingga bisa disimpulkan ada perbedaan signifikan keterampilan berpikir kritis kelas dengan model PBL dan konvensional.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to examine the feasibility learning module of analyzes the morphological, anatomical and agronomical characteristics of soybeans based on PjBL for students of Vocational High School/SMK PP Negeri Kupang related to analysis of potential ratios and heterosis of F1 soybeans as a result of crossing Burangrang varieties. The development model uses ADDIE which consists of five stages, that is analyze, design, develop, implement, evaluate by Branch. Modules developed were assessed for their feasibility by validators of material experts, resource experts and practitioners in school. The results of the study indicate that the modules developed are categorized as very valid and feasible for use in the learning process.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menguji kelayakan modul pembelajaran analisis karakter morfologi, anatomi, dan morfologi kedelai berbasis PjBL untuk siswa SMK PP Negeri Kupang berdasarkan penelitian analisis nisbah potensi dan heterosis F1 kedelai hasil persilangan varietas Burangrang. Model pengembangan menggunakan ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahapan yaitu analyze, design, develop, implement, evaluate oleh Branch. Modul yang dikembangkan dinilai kelayakannya oleh validator ahli materi, ahli media dan praktisi lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul yang dikembangkan berkategori sangat valid dan layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe students' reasoning in solving non-routine problems. This study uses descriptive exploratory research with a qualitative approach. This research was conducted on 33 MIPA SMA Laboratory UM students. A subject is taken based on student answers that are complete, correct, from the teacher's recommendations and the results of the analysis that meet five reasoning indicators, namely analysis, synthesis, generalization, justification and resolution of non-routine problems. The results of this study state that the more dominant subject performs the analysis by explaining information, doing the right calculation; then do the synthesis by combining information; generalize by identifying forms; justify by giving reasons as well; solve non-routine problems. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penalaran siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal non-routine. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif eksploratif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada 33 siswa MIPA SMA Laboratorium UM. Seorang subjek diambil berdasarkan jawaban siswa yang tuntas, benar, dari rekomendasi guru serta hasil analisis yang memenuhi lima indikator penalaran, yaitu analisis, sintesis, generalisasi, justifikasi, dan penyelesaian masalah non-routine. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa subjek lebih dominan melakukan analisis dengan menjelaskan informasi, melakukan perhitungan yang benar; kemudian melakukan sintesis dengan menggabungkan informasi; melakukan generalisasi dengan mengidentifikasi bentuk; melakukan justifikasi dengan memberikan alasan; menyelesaikan soal non-routine.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was aimed to improve the soft physical motoric skill of kids in coordinating eyes and hands movements through the implementation of playing strategy by using busy book media. The subjects of this research were 16 kids at group A Nafilah Kindegarten Malang City. The results of the observation concludes that the soft physical motoric skill of kids experiences improvement from classical average in the amount of 50% at the first cycle then it improves to be 100% at the second cycle. This improvement can be achieved through the implementation of playing strategy by using busy book media conducted by the teachers until it gives progress on the aspect of kids soft physical motoric skill in coordinating eyes and hands movements.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan fisik motorik halus anak dalam mengoordinasikan gerak mata dan tangan melalui penerapan strategi bermain dengan menggunakan media busy book. Subjek dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 16 anak di kelompok A TK Nafilah Kota Malang. Hasil observasi menyimpulkan bahwa kemampuan fisik motorik halus anak mengalami peningkatan dari rata-rata klasikal sebesar 50% pada siklus I kemudian meningkat pada siklus II mencapai 100%. Peningkatan tersebut dapat dicapai melalui penerapan strategi bermain dengan menggunakan media busy book yang telah dilaksanakan guru sehingga memberikan kemajuan pada aspek fisik motorik halus anak dalam mengoordinasikan gerak mata dan tangan.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to give information related to the implementation of scientific approach in thematic instruction integrated to Curriculum 2013 at Elementary School stage. Several aspects in the implementation of scientific approach are as follows: (1) planning the scientific lesson, (2) teaching and learning process, (3) evaluating, and (4) valuing the lesson using scientific approach in thematic instruction. This is a qualitative method research using case study approach. The data analysis used several instruments such as data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The result of this study showed that the implementation of scientific approach met several obstacles.Abstrak: Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi tentang penerapan pendekatan scientific dalam pembelajaran tematik terpadu pada kurikulum 2013 di Sekolah Dasar. Pelaksanaan pendekatan scientific, yakni pada aspek-aspek (1) perencanaan pembelajaran scientific, (2) proses pembelajaran, (3) evaluasi, dan (4) kebermaknaan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan scientific dalam pembelajaran tematik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Data hasil penelitian ini diolah dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran scientific terdapat beberapa kendala.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to describe the mistakes made by students in solving logarithmic inequality problems. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were high school students who had obtained logarithmic inequality material. Student errors are classified into conceptual errors, procedural errors, and computational errors. Based on data analysis conceptual errors that occur are errors using the logarithmic inequality properties, errors in the concept of defining logarithms, and errors in the use of logarithmic properties. Whereas procedural errors, namely errors in completing algebraic inequalities, errors in determining completion of definitions of logarithms, and errors determine the completion of the algebraic inequality system. The computational errors that occur are errors in performing operations counting numbers including errors in negative signs.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal pertidaksamaan logaritma. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa SMA yang telah memperoleh materi pertidaksamaan logaritma. Kesalahan siswa diklasifikasikan menjadi kesalahan konseptual, kesalahan prosedural, dan kesalahan komputasi. Berdasarkan analisis data kesalahan konseptual yang terjadi adalah kesalahan menggunakan sifat pertidaksamaan logaritma, kesalahan konsep keterdefinisian logaritma, dan kesalahan penggunaan sifat logaritma. Kesalahan prosedural yaitu kesalahan menyelesaikan pertidaksamaan aljabar, kesalahan menentukan selesaian syarat keterdefinisian logaritma, dan kesalahan menentukan selesaian sistem pertidaksamaan aljabar. Adapun kesalahan komputasi yang terjadi yaitu kesalahan dalam melakukan operasi hitung bilangan termasuk kesalahan dalam tanda negatif.
