Abstract

This study was aimed at discussing survival analysis in Pulmonary Tuberculosis patients in Aloei Saboe using Weibull regression to find out the factors that influence the patient’s recovery rate. To analyze the survival time, the Kaplan-Meier curve is used then the process continues into Log-Rank Test to see the differences between groups in a curve. Weibull Regression is used to determine the significant factors based on a log-rank test in the rate of recovery of Pulmonary Tuberculosis patients. The results of the study concluded age, shortness of breath, fever, cough, history of illness and smoking habits are factors that significantly influence the rate of recovery of Pulmonary Tuberculosis patients.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students' mathematics learning outcomes in matrix material through e-learning based learning. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 2 Limboto with a descriptive method involving 21 students as the research sample selected by purposive sampling technique. Data collection was obtained from the results of mathematics learning tests involving several indicators, namely: (1) understanding, (2) application, (3) analysis, (4) synthesis, and (5) evaluation. The results showed that students' mathematics learning results through e-learning-based learning were in the poor category, which was indicated by the percentage of scores achieved by students of 69%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Quantum Teaching learning model on student learning outcomes. This research was conducted at a junior high school in Bone Bolango. The research model is an experimental research that uses a posttest control group design consisting of 2 samples, namely, the experimental class and the control class. The sample was selected by a simple random sampling technique involving 24 students for the experimental class and 23 students for the control class. The results showed differences in student learning outcomes taught by the Quantum teaching-learning model and the direct learning model on set operations material. This is indicated by the average value of student learning outcomes in the set operation material of the experimental class is higher than the control class.

Abstract

This research is classroom action research. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in the material system of two-variable linear equations. This research was conducted in class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Satap Tabongo, with 17 students as research subjects. Data collection is done by using observation and tests. Data analysis was carried out by looking at the average results of students who passed and the results of observations that reached the minimum good criteria. This research lasted for two cycles with results in the form of observations of teacher activities that increased from 73% to 88.5% in the good and very good categories. Furthermore, the results of student activities increased from 61.25 to 92% in the good and very good categories. As well as learning outcomes also increased from 58.82% to 88.2%. By looking at these results, it can be concluded that the Problem-Based Learning model can improve student learning outcomes in the matter of a two-variable linear equation system in class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Satap Tabongo.
