Abstract

Latar Belakang: Halusinasi merupakan salah satu gejala gangguan jiwa yang dialami pasien yang ditandai dengan perubahan persepsi yang disebabkan oleh stimulus yang sebenarnya tidak ada. Tanda dan gejala yang biasanya dialami pasien halusinasi antara lain bertindak seolah-olah mendengar suara-suara, tertawa sendiri, menyendiri, melamun, dan berbicara sendiri. Angka kejadian gangguan jiwa di dunia pada tahun 2019 sebanyak 970 juta jiwa sedangkan angka kejadian penderita gangguan jiwa di DIY pada tahun 2022 mencapai 10,93 per mil. Salah satu penanganan yang dapat dilakukan adalah terapi nonfarmakologis dengan terapi Murottal Al-Quran. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui perbandingan tingkat halusinasi dan perbedaan skor tanda dan gejala halusinasi sesudah terapi Murottal Al-Quran. Metode: Pada studi kasus ini digunakan metode studi kasus deskriptif, subjek studi kasus diambil 1 responden dengan kriteria inklusi, instrumen yang digunakan yaitu SOP terapi Murottal Al-Quran, lembar penilaian AHRS (Auditory Hallucination Rating Scale) dan lembar penilaian tanda dan gejala halusinasi. Hasil: Penerapan terapi Murottal Al-Quran dilakukan pada 1 responden, yaitu Tn. S. Sebelum terapi, skor AHRS pasien adalah 21 dan skor 7 pada observasi tanda dan gejala halusinasi. Setelah diberikan terapi selama 6 hari, diperoleh skor AHRS 11 dan skor 3 pada observasi tanda dan gejala halusinasi. Kesimpulan: Terapi Murottal Al-Quran efektif dalam menurunkan tingkat halusinasi dan menurunkan tanda gejala halusinasi pada pasien dengan halusinasi pendengaran.

Abstract

Halusinasi adalah gangguan persepsi sensori dimana seseorang tidak mampu menerima stimulus sensorik pada panca indera dengan baik. Tanda dan gejala halusinasi contohnya adalah mendengar suara yang tidak nyata, curiga, khawatir, berbicara sendiri, dan tertawa sendiri. Angka kejadian Halusinasi di RSJ Ghrasia pada tahun 2022 sebanyak 118 orang. Salah satu penatalaksanaan yang dapat dilakukan adalah terapi non farmakologi dengan terapi okupasi menggambar. Tujuan untuk mengetahui perubahan tingkat halusinasi dan tanda gejala halusinasi setelah dilakukan terapi okupasi menggambar pada pasien halusinasi pendengaran. Dalam studi kasus ini menggunakan studi kasus deskriptif, subyek studi kasus diambil 1 responden sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi. Instrument yang digunakan dalam studi kasus ini adalah SOP terapi okupasi menggambar, AHRS (Auditory Hallucination Rating Scale), lembar observasi tanda dan gejala halusinasi. Metode pengumpulan data dengan dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, penerapan terapi okupasi menggambar, evaluasi, dan dokumentasi. Penerapan terapi okupasi menggambar dilakukan pada 1 responden yaitu Ny. S. Sebelum dilakukan terapi pasien mendapat skor AHRS 24, dan skor 9 pada observasi tanda gejala halusinasi. Setelah dilakukan terapi didapatkan hasil pasien skor AHRS 17, dan skor 3 pada observasis tanda dan gejala halusinasi. Terapi okupasi menggambar dapat menurunkan tingkat halusinasi dan tanda gejala halusinasi pendengaran.

Abstract

Appropriate and safe medication use is essential for maintaining public health across all age groups. Improper home medication management, including incorrect storage, irregular dosing schedules, and limited awareness of side effects, may increase health risks. This community service program aimed to improve knowledge, skills, and awareness regarding home medication management and side effect awareness. The activity was conducted in Dusun Destan, Bambanglipuro, Bantul Regency, involving 66 participants from various age groups. An educational approach was applied through interactive counseling sessions supported by educational leaflets containing information on proper medication storage, dosing schedule management, and early recognition and management of medication side effects. Evaluation was carried out informally through observation and question-and-answer sessions. The results demonstrated a noticeable improvement in participants’ knowledge in all discussed aspects, including medication storage, dosing schedules, and awareness of side effects. Participants also showed increased concern for medication safety in daily use. This activity has the potential to reduce medication-related errors and contribute to improved quality of life through safer and more rational medication use at the household level.

Abstract

Anemia is a common health problem among adolescent girls and may affect physical health, academic performance, and quality of life. Limited knowledge and awareness regarding anemia and its prevention contribute to the high prevalence of anemia in this group. This community service activity aimed to improve the knowledge and awareness of adolescent girls regarding anemia prevention through health education activities. The program was conducted in Sawahan 5, Gunung Kidul Regency, involving 30 adolescent girls. The method applied was face-to-face health education through lectures, discussions, and question-and-answer sessions using presentation media and leaflets. Evaluation was carried out using pre-test and post-test to assess changes in participants’ knowledge levels. The results showed an increase in knowledge after the education program, indicated by an improvement in the good knowledge category from 20.0% to 66.7% and a decrease in the poor knowledge category. These findings indicate that health education and socialization activities are effective in increasing adolescent girls’ understanding of anemia and its prevention and may support the adoption of healthy behaviors from an early age.

Abstract

Adolescents face academic and social pressures that can trigger stress and anxiety, requiring educational interventions to improve coping skills. This community service activity aimed to provide mental health education to adolescents in Dusun Manukan, Kalurahan Sendangsari, Kapanewon Pajangan, Bantul Regency, and enhance their understanding of early detection strategies for stress and anxiety. Methods included interactive education, group discussions, and Q&A sessions, involving 34 active adolescents. Activity stages included material preparation and coordination, educational implementation, and evaluation through Q&A and participant observation. Results indicated increased understanding of stress, anxiety, and coping strategies, especially in recognizing early stress signs and managing emotional responses adaptively. This initiative highlights the importance of empowering adolescents as mental health agents in the community while strengthening preparedness and social skills. Continuous training is recommended to maintain acquired knowledge and skills.

Abstract

The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare has increased the use of digital platforms for self-health assessment, particularly among young people. However, inadequate understanding of AI may lead to inappropriate self-diagnosis and potential health risks. This community service activity aimed to enhance young people’s awareness of the risks associated with AI-based self-diagnosis through an educative–participatory approach. A pre-experimental design with a one-group pre-test and post-test was employed. The intervention consisted of interactive health education, group discussions, and case-based learning related to AI health applications. Evaluation focused on changes in participants’ knowledge, risk awareness, critical attitudes, and digital health behavior before and after the intervention. The results indicated a significant shift in participants’ perspectives, from uncritical reliance on AI toward more cautious and reflective use. Participants recognized the limitations of AI and the importance of consulting healthcare professionals for medical decisions. This activity supports the development of safer and more responsible health behaviors in the context of increasing AI integration in everyday life in 2026.
