Abstract

SMPN 3 Grogol, known as Simpatig Budaya, is a school rich in cultural diversity and committed to preserving local cultural heritage, including wayang art. This research focuses on the suluk "Sigra Bala Kang Tumingal," one of Sinom's macapat songs used in wayang performances to add depth to the story and depict the spirit and courage of the troops. This suluk functions as entertainment and a medium for conveying moral values and philosophy of life. By integrating these suluk values into the character of education at SMPN 3 Grogol, it is hoped that it can form students who have integrity, responsibility and an attitude of respect for differences, as well as empowering them as active cultural actors in preserving the nation's cultural heritage.

Abstract

Penilaian sikap dalam Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk karakter dan menekan kenakalan remaja, terutama dalam kompleksitas masyarakat digital saat ini. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana penilaian sikap tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai persyaratan rapor, tetapi juga sebagai kompas diagnostik untuk mengidentifikasi tanda-tanda awal penyimpangan perilaku di kalangan siswa. Menggunakan pendekatan tinjauan literatur kualitatif, penelitian ini menganalisis hubungan antara praktik penilaian guru terhadap nilai-nilai afektif seperti tanggung jawab, disiplin, dan toleransi, serta dampaknya terhadap intervensi karakter di pendidikan menengah. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa penilaian sikap sering dilakukan secara kaku dan kurang sensitif terhadap konteks, sehingga tidak efektif dalam menangani dinamika psikososial siswa. Kekurangan pelatihan praktis dan alat penilaian yang valid menghambat pendidik dalam mendeteksi pergeseran nilai secara akurat. Dalam konteks pelanggaran remaja, however, penilaian semacam ini dapat berfungsi sebagai radar perilaku. Studi ini merekomendasikan penerapan penilaian yang lebih reflektif, terstruktur, dan responsif secara sosial. Evaluasi sikap harus berkembang menjadi strategi budaya yang terintegrasi dalam pendidikan karakter transformatif. Penelitian ini mendefinisikan pembentukan karakter bukan sebagai tujuan teoretis, melainkan sebagai praktik pedagogis harian di mana guru secara terus-menerus berinteraksi, menilai, dan membimbing pertumbuhan moral siswa.

Abstract

Pembelajaran mendalam dalam konteks pendidikan tidak hanya berkaitan dengan teknologi tetapi juga mengacu pada pendekatan pedagogis yang menekankan pada pemahaman konseptual yang komprehensif, interkoneksi antar mata pelajaran, dan penerapan pengetahuan dalam situasi kehidupan nyata. Kajian literatur ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran pendekatan pembelajaran deep learning dalam meningkatkan hasil penilaian belajar siswa. Melalui analisis terhadap berbagai penelitian dan teori pendidikan, ditemukan bahwa deep learning mendorong siswa untuk berpikir kritis, reflektif, dan aktif mengkonstruksi pengetahuan yang pada akhirnya berdampak positif terhadap hasil belajar. Dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran permukaan yang hanya berfokus pada hafalan dan hasil akhir, pembelajaran mendalam memungkinkan siswa untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang lebih bermakna dan bertahan lama. Artikel ini juga membahas strategi untuk menerapkan pembelajaran mendalam di kelas, seperti penggunaan pertanyaan terbuka, pembelajaran berbasis masalah, dan penilaian formatif yang berkelanjutan. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan ini secara konsisten dapat meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran dan prestasi siswa.

Abstract

Assessment of attitudes is a crucial component in Civic Education (PPKn) learning to develop students’ civic character. However, it is still dominated by conventional methods that are less practical and prone to subjectivity. Meanwhile, technological advancements have introduced digital quiz applications such as Quizizz and Kahoot! which have proven effective in enhancing student engagement and motivation, although their use has predominantly focused on assessing cognitive aspects. This research aims to design an attitude assessment instrument based on digital quiz applications in Civic Education learning at junior high schools, producing a measurement tool that is valid, reliable, practical, and engaging for students. The study employs the Research and Development (R&D) method by Borg and Gall, encompassing stages of needs analysis, instrument development, expert validation, limited trials, revision, and broader field testing. The results of this study are expected to bridge the existing gap in literature regarding the use of digital technology for attitude assessment in Civic Education and provide practical contributions for teachers to implement more objective, efficient, and modern assessments.

Abstract

Independence in early childhood serves as a fundamental pillar in character formation, yet this attribute is increasingly undermined by the rise of individualistic tendencies in the era of globalization. This study investigates the role of the habituation method in fostering independent behavior among young children at Kusuma Mulia Nambaan school. Employing a descriptive qualitative research design, data were gathered through direct observation, in-depth interviews with educators and caregivers, and the analysis of institutional documentation. Findings reveal that consistent implementation of habituation through routine activities, such as arranging footwear, returning toys, and completing assigned tasks without external assistance, significantly enhances children's self-reliance. These practices cultivated decision-making confidence and task completion autonomy in participants. The research underscores the critical role of structured habituation in promoting not only independence but also the broader development of social-emotional competencies. The study offers empirical support for integrating habituation-based strategies in early childhood education settings as a means of strengthening foundational character traits in an increasingly complex social landscape.
