Abstract

In the mosaic craftsmen it was found that the craftsmen did not use the correct PPE. The study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes in using PPE on the level of work safety in mosaic makers in the Tegallalang sub-district, Bali. This study intends to provide input and information to craftsmen about the Personal Protective Equipment needed when working so that craftsmen are protected. This research is a type of analytic survey research. Based on the tabulation results of 13 mosaic makers who had a low level of knowledge about PPE, 12 people or 66.7% of them did not use complete PPE, 1 person or 14.3% of them wore or used complete PPE. As many as 6 mosaic craftsmen who have sufficient level of knowledge, 5 people or 27.8% of them use incomplete PPE, 1 person or 14% use complete PPE. Meanwhile, 6 mosaic makers who had a good level of knowledge included 1 person or 5.6% using incomplete PPE, 5 using complete PPE. Based on the results of the tabulation, it was found that 15 craftsmen had a negative attitude towards using PPE, 12 people or 66.7% of them did not use complete PPE, 3 of them or 42.9% of them used complete PPE. There were 10 craftsmen who had a positive attitude towards using PPE, 6 people or 33.3% of them did not use complete PPE, 4 people 57.1% used complete PPE. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between knowledge and attitudes with the use of personal protective equipment for mosaic makers in the Tegalalang sub-district, the results obtained that there is a relationship between knowledge and attitudes in using PPE on the level of work safety in mosaic makers in the Tegallalang sub-district, Bali with p-value = 0.002 but there is no relationship on attitudes with p-value = 0.378 (ρ value <0.05).

Abstract

The tourism industry is one of the sectors most affected during the Covid-19 pandemic. Covid-19 certainly has an impact on all sectors in the tourism sector and of course has an impact on tourist villages as tourist destinations.Tourists experience concerns about security when visiting and staying in tourist villages and tourist village managers also experience concerns about the possibility of spreading the virus. The implementation of CHSE in tourist attractions is very important to create a safe, comfortable and memorable tourist experience for visitors, as well as contributing to environmental sustainability and growth of the tourism industry. Analysis of the implementation of CHSE at the CAU Cokelat tourist attraction is deemed necessary to ensure the health and safety of visitors and workers. This research is quantitative study with cross sectional design. Analysis of the fulfillment of the CHSE guidelines at the CAU chocolates tourism object was carried out, using the CHSE guidelines instrument released by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy. This activity has been carried out on August 9, 2024. The results showed that CAU chocolates tourism object was able to meet 91% of the CHSE guidelines. Descriptively, the conclusion from this research is that CAU Chocolates Tourism Object has been able to implement 91% of the CHSE guidelines, which is a good result for ensuring the health and safety of visitors.

Abstract

Community service is one of the important pillars in the Tri Dharma of Higher Education in Indonesia, which includes education, research and community service. Within the scope of electromedical engineering, community service has a very strategic role in supporting improving the quality of public health. The aim of community service activities at the Canggu sub-district health center is to provide guidance related to health equipment maintenance, which includes equipment inventory activities, equipment repair and socialization on the use of health equipment. By carrying out this service activity, it is hoped that a better and more sustainable health system will be created at the Canggu sub-health center. The method used in this activity is socialization and checking equipment directly in the field. As a result of service activities at the Canggu sub-health center, almost all equipment could be repaired, but there was one device, namely the vaccine refrigerator, which could not be repaired and recommendations were given for repairing spare parts. As well as increasing insight into the operation of medical equipment used so that it is always active, accurate, and of course can help medical activities.

Abstract

Indonesia adalah salah satu negara dengan jumlah gunung api aktif terbanyak di dunia.Salah satu gunung api aktif yang terletak di Provinsi Bali adalah Gunung Agung. Erupsi Gunung Agung Kembali terjadi pada tahun 2017. Sebagian besar masyakarat yang ada di lereng gunung agung diungsikan ke tempat yang lebih aman, salah satunya di Gor Swecapura – Kabupaten Klungkung. Program Studi Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja melakukan pelayanan kesehatan dan keselamatan untuk membantu mengurangi beban masyarakat yang mengungsi. Metode yang digunakan adalah berupa pemeriksaan kesehatan dan pengobatan, edukasi mengenai cara penggunaan masker yang tepat, edukasi cara mencuci tangan yang tepat dan penanggulangan psikologis pada anak-anak. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat menunjukkan sebagian besar pengungsi yang memeriksakan kesehatanya mengalami keluhan berupa gatal-gatal, demam dan diare. Dari sisi psikologis khususnya pengungsi anak-anak mengeluh masih merasa takut jika gunung agung mulai mengeluarkan asap, terjadi hujan abu, dan gempa bumi sekalipun dalam frekuensi kecil

Abstract

Kebersihan tangan merupakan hal yang sangat penting namun kadang dilupakan terlebih anak  - anak yang rentan dengan kuman karena sering bermain dengan bahan – bahan dan lingkungan yang belum tentu aman dan bersih. Kebersihan tangan anak – anak juga kurang diperhatikan dan masih dianggap sepele. Mengingat anak – anak yang aktif bermain sangat kurang efektif apabila sering mencuci tangan karena setelah dicuci, mereka terkadang bermain lagi dan tangannya kembali kotor. Hal tersebut membuat para orang tua malas mengingatkan untuk anak – anaknya mencuci tangan sampai betul – betul mereka selesai bermain. Ketika anak sudah selesai bermain dan merasa kelelahan, akhirnya yang ada anak – anak malas mencuci tangan. Program studi Kesehatan dan Keselamatan kerja (K3) berinisiatif membuat pengabdian masyarakat melalui penyuluhan hand hygiene dan safety playground sebagai bentuk kepedulian dan turut serta mengingatkan tak hanya pada anak – anak namun juga kepada orang tua dan masyarakat terkait pentingnya menjaga kebersihan tangan dengan mencuci tangan secara benar dan bersih. Mencuci tangan merupakan hal yang sangat penting dan perlu diingatkan secara terus menerus. Begitu juga keselamatan dan keamanan bermain, karena anak – anak rentan juga terhadap kecelakaan saat bermain mengingat beberapa alat permainan tidak sesuai dengan kaidah keselamatan anak. Oleh karena itu pentingnya K3 memberikan penyuluhan tentang  keamanan bermain di arena permainan anak di luar ruangan.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam konteks teknik elektromedik berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas layanan kesehatan di fasilitas kesehatan. Kegiatan ini dilakukan di Puskesmas Pembantu Tibubeneng dengan tujuan untuk memastikan pemeliharaan alat kesehatan yang tepat guna mendukung efisiensi dan efektivitas pelayanan medis. Program ini melibatkan penyuluhan dan pelatihan kepada tenaga medis tentang cara perawatan dan penggunaan alat medis dengan benar. Hasil dari pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemeliharaan alat-alat kesehatan yang rusak dan tidak terinventarisasi dapat meningkatkan fungsionalitas peralatan, yang secara langsung berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan kualitas layanan. Kegiatan ini memberikan wawasan tambahan bagi tenaga medis dan masyarakat terkait pentingnya pemeliharaan alat kesehatan yang teratur, serta dampak langsung terhadap keselamatan pasien. Temuan ini menjadi dasar untuk pengembangan program pemeliharaan peralatan medis yang lebih berkelanjutan.   Community service in the context of electromedical engineering plays an important role in improving the quality of health services in health facilities. This activity was conducted at Puskesmas Pembantu Tibubeneng with the aim of ensuring proper maintenance of medical devices to support the efficiency and effectiveness of medical services. The program involved counseling and training to medical personnel on how to properly maintain and use medical devices. The results of this service showed that the maintenance of damaged and uninventoried medical devices can improve the functionality of the equipment, which directly contributes to the improvement of service quality. This activity provided additional insights for medical personnel and the community regarding the importance of regular maintenance of medical devices, as well as the direct impact on patient safety. The findings form the basis for the development of a more sustainable medical equipment maintenance program.
