Abstract

Hybrid maize cultivated in an effort to meet domestic corn production, which has been importing large quantities, the objectives of this study are: (1) To compare the productivity of hybrid corn farming based on business scale. (2) To compare the advantages between hybrid corn farming scale. (3) To compare the efficiency of cost utilization in hybrid corn farming based on business scale.Data used in this research is primary data and secondary data. Data collection using interview method and questionnaire. The data collected in the analysis used the F-test and LSD test.Based on the results of the research can be concluded: (1) On land productivity between small and medium-sized narrow scale business scale shows significant difference at the 90% level of confidence, but on the scale of large area of land with narrow land indicates insignificant differences. (2)The narrow gains of moderate land indicate a significant difference in profits, whereas on a broad scale the narrow and wide scaled businesses show no significant difference in the 90% confidence level. (3) There is a difference in the level of cost efficiency between the narrow and the moderate scale indicating a significant difference at the 10% test level, but on the medium scale with broad and narrow area indicating an insignificant difference in the 90% confidence level.

Abstract

Pasar produk pangan organik mulai tumbuh selama pandemi covid-19. Jumlah produsen juga ikut tumbuh karena dianggap menguntungkan dan menjadi peluang bagi produsen baru untuk ikut mencoba menyediakan produk pangan organik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menyintesis temuan-temuan tentang faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi niat pembelian produk pangan organik. Data diperoleh dari studi literatur jurnal nasional dan internasional sejumlah dua puluh delapan jurnal yang relevan dengan judul. Faktor-faktor yang umumnya memengaruhi niat pembelian produk pangan organik terdiri atas harga, motivasi sehat, karakteristik produk, sikap, distribusi, kepedulian pada lingkungan dan norma subjektif.

Abstract

ABSTRAK  Kelurahan Kebonagung merupakan salah satu kawasan di tengah kota Jember dengan kondisi pemukiman padat penduduk dan tingkat pendidikan warga yang masih rendah, sehingga memengaruhi taraf perekonomian warga Kelurahan Kebonagung yang masih rendah dengan rata-rata pendapatan warga sebesar Rp. 1.000.000,-. Berdasarkan fakta tersebut, dilakukan pendampingan terkait pemanfaatan lahan yang sempit agar menjadi lahan budidaya tanaman hortikultura yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan rumah tangga dan dapat dikembangkan menjadi produk komersil berupa produk sayuran hidroponik. Program pengembangan lanjutan diperlukan dengan tujuan memberikan ilai tambah produk serta peningkatan pendapatan dari mitra (ibu-ibu PKK RW 06 Kelurahan Kebonagung) melalui beberapa pelatihan, yaitu pelatihan pengolahan dan digital marketing produk hidroponik yang dihasilkan. Kegiatan ini diawali dengan pelatihan pengolahan produk hidroponik bertujuan untuk meningkatkan nilai dari produk hidroponik yang telah dihasilkan, sosialisasi penetapan brand produk bertujuan supaya produk yang dihasilkan mudah dikenal masyarakat lebih luas, dapat menjadi produk khas atau ikon Kelurahan Kebonagung, serta sosialisasi pembuatan digital marketing dibutuhkan untuk memanfaatkan percepatan penggunaan teknologi oleh calon konsumen. Hasil dari kegiatan ini berupa produk vertikultur hidroponik dengan merk “Amerta Hydrofarm” yang dikemas menarik dan akun media sosial untuk penjualan secara online. Kata kunci: brand, digital marketing, hidroponik, pengolahanABSTRACT Abstract. Kebonagung Village is one of the areas in the middle of the city of Jember with residential conditions and the level of education of residents is still low so the economic level of the residents of Kebonagung Village is still low with an average income of Rp. 1,000,000,-. Based on these facts, assistance was carried out regarding the use of narrow land so that it became a horticultural plant cultivation area that could meet household needs and could be developed into commercial products in the form of hydroponic vegetable products. Further development programs are needed so that the goal of increasing product added value and increasing income from partners (PKK RW.06 Kelurahan Kebonagung) can be achieved, namely digital processing and marketing of hydroponic products produced. This activity began with training on hydroponic product processing aimed at increasing the value of the hydroponic products that have been produced, socialization of branding aims to make the product easily known to the wider community and can be recognized by the typical products or icons of Kebonagung Village, and socialization of making digital marketing needed to take advantage of the use of technology by potential consumers. The results of this activity are hydroponic verticulture products "Amerta Hydrofarm" which are ready to be sold with attractive packaging and social media for online sales. Keywords: brand, digital marketing, hydroponic, processed

Abstract

Chicken meat is one of the most popular staple foods, but the halal aspect is the main requirement. In traditional markets, chicken is sold without a halal label. This research aimed to analyze the consumer behavior factors on willingness to buy halal chicken meat at traditional markets in Jember Region. This study hypothesizes that consumer behavior factors affect the behavior of willingness to buy chicken meat with a halal label in traditional markets. This study uses survey data from distributing questionnaires to 110 respondents. Multivariate statistical methods do the hypothesis testing technique with SEM Model. The data processing results show that behavioral control and religious commitment variables significantly influence behavior toward buying chicken meat with the halal label. Suggestions based on research results: first, raising awareness about consuming halal-labeled chicken meat is necessary to increase a person's knowledge. Second, it is required to increase the role of the community and the government, both internally and externally, in educating a person's behavior toward consuming chicken meat labeled halal.

Abstract

Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) diharapkan dapat berperan aktif dalam menghasilkan lulusan yang dapat menciptakan lapangan kerja (Wirausaha).Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan seharusnya mampu mencetak wirausaha-wirausaha yang dapat menciptakan usaha secara mandiri untuk kehidupannya. Tetapi pada kenyataannya, ada sebagian alumni SMK yang belum mendapat pekerjaan setelah lulus sekolah. Di lain sisi potensi ikan tongkol di Jember sangat memadai sebagai bahan baku produk yang akan dipasarkan secara luas, selain itu ikan tongkol memiliki manfaat yang baik bagi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan balita. Sehingga ikan tongkol dapat dibuat olahan produk berupa crackers yang bisa menjadi camilan atau pendamping makanan utama balita. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan peran aktif kalangan masyarakat untuk memulai mengatasi wasting pada balita dengan memproduksi crakers berbahan baku ikan tongkol yang dapat dimulai di SMK sebagai pencetak wirausaha muda. Salah satu alternatif kegiatan tersebut adalah Pelatihan Kewirausahaan dengan membuat crakers ikan tongkol.  Di SMK Muhammadiyah 5 Jember pelatihan ini belum pernah dilaksanakan, sehingga pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat memotivasi minat wirausaha siswa dengan berpikir kreatif dan inovatif membuat industri kreatif berbasis peningkatan gizi balita. Metode yang digunakan diawali dengan membentuk tim pengabdian, identifikasi masalah dan kebutuhan bersama mitra, pelaksanaan pelatihan dengan ceramah dan praktik pembuatan crackers ikan tongkol, serta evaluasi. Hasilnya para siswa SMK sangat antusias dan telah memahami cara pembuatan crackers ikan tongkol. Harapan dari kegiatan ini pihak SMK atayusiswa dapat memproduksi crackers berbahan ikan tongkol untuk dijual kepada masyarakat sehingga dapat digunakan alternatif produk usaha.

Abstract

Indonesia has the potential for a strong national economic base because the number of MSMEs, especially micro businesses, is very large and the labor absorption capacity is very large. One way to increase the capacity of micro and small businesses so they can upgrade to medium-sized businesses is to support and assist with online sales. This research aims to determine the factors that influence e-commerce consumer satisfaction and loyalty to food and beverage products. The research location is in Jember with the consideration that the district government program is in line with this research, namely strengthening the economy. Sampling technique with purposive sampling method. Respondent criteria are e-commerce users who have purchased food and beverage products in e-commerce. Data analysis used Spearman Rank Correlation. The research results show that the factors of intention to use, price, packaging safety, promotion and actual use are positively and significantly related to consumer satisfaction and loyalty to food and beverage products in e-commerce. The factor with the strongest relationship is actual use. The actual usage factor is reflected by the intensity with which consumers browse food and beverage products available on e-commerce applications very often. The suggestion from the results of this research is that marketing food and beverage products through e-commerce applications needs to display attractive visual or audio-visual content designs.

Abstract

Stunting is a condition where a person experiences chronic nutritional problems that arise as a result of a condition of malnutrition that lasts for quite a long time. One of the problems with knowledge about stunting prevention is through the role of parents. One way to increase knowledge is through health promotion, namely by providing education about stunting. The aim of this counseling is to increase parents' knowledge regarding stunting so that parents know how to prevent and overcome the problem of stunting. The method used is the outreach activity for parents of toddlers and pregnant mothers who carry out at Posyandu Mangga 110 Bangsalsari sub-district regarding the importance of monitoring children's growth and development by regularly checking them at the posyandu to see whether there is a risk of stunting in toddlers. Posyandu activities were carried out on March 10 2024 at Posyandu Mangga 110 Bangsalsari District. The results of this activity are increased knowledge and insight of parents about the importance of the role of parents in providing good nutrition as well as visits to posyandu to measure the height and weight of toddlers so they can monitor their children's growth and find out what signs and symptoms of stunting occur in toddlers and how to prevent it.

Abstract

The tobacco agroindustry in Indonesia has the potential to be developed. Tobacco products and their derivatives are products of high value so that in the economic aspect they have a big involvement in the national economy as a provenience of government revenue (taxes), a foreign exchange, income for farmers, and a provider of employment in the on-farm sector. Despite of its provenience, the presence of tobacco products and their derivatives has been widely opposed by the community in line with increasing public awareness of health. Based on this, it is necessary to diversify processed tobacco products into new products other than cigarettes that have high economic value. However, efforts to develop the non-smoking tobacco agroindustry have problems including the high costs of process technology, farmers' technical knowledge, capital, competition with other regions, and the lack of government’s coordinated strategy to develop the non-smoking tobacco agroindustry. In addition, the competitiveness of the non-smoking tobacco agroindustry is still low, so this study aims to formulate a non-smoking tobacco agroindustry development strategy in Jember Regency. Analysis of research data was carried out using the Exponential Comparison Method, Interpretative Structural Modeling and Analytical Hierarchy Process. The main priority result of the selection of superior non-smoking tobacco agroindustry products is tobacco perfume. The key sub-elements to the element are facilities and infrastructure for the non-smoking tobacco agroindustry such as investment and access to capital for farmers and entrepreneurs; The key sub-elements to the constraints element are the limited capital and technology of the non-smoking tobacco agroindustry; the key sub-elements to the institutional element are local governments; and the key sub-elements in the activity elements carried out are increasing market access and partnerships for non-smoking tobacco products. Alternative strategies to increase market access and partnerships have the highest priority in selecting a development strategy for the tobacco perfume agroindustry.

Abstract

Diversifikasi pangan diharapkan dapat menjadi pilihan pangan non beras yang beragam, bergizi seimbang, dan aman (B2SA) serta terjangkau sehingga dapat mengurangi ketergantungan terhadap impor beras. Selain itu, diversifikasi pangan diharapkan dapat memanfaatkan dan mengoptimalkan potensi lokal berupa potensi tanaman lokal dan sumber daya manusia, serta dapat menjadi alternatif produk pangan yang relatif terjangkau. Tujuan dari diversifikasi pangan adalah untuk memberikan gizi yang cukup bagi pola konsumsi rumah tangga sehingga dapat memenuhi pola konsumsi yang sehat dan bergizi di masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui perkembangan program diversifikasi makanan pokok lokal program di Kabupaten Jember dan menetapkan strategi untuk membuat program diversifikasi pangan ini dapat diterapkan. Hasil analisis formulasi strategi menggunakan matriks QSPM menunjukkan bahwa keputusan strategi prioritas yang perlu segera dilaksanakan adalah meningkatkan variasi produk lokal yang dapat bekerjasama dengan Universitas atau peneliti di Kabupaten Jember
