Abstract

Background. The emergence of artificial intelligence as a creative agent has fundamentally disrupted the human-centered paradigm of authorship in literary production. Recent advances in generative models such as GPT and other neural language systems have blurred the boundaries between human intention, machine output, and narrative authenticity. Purpose. This study aims to deconstruct the notion of the “post-human author” by examining how AI-generated literary works redefine narrative identity, creativity, and the ontology of authorship. Employing a qualitative meta-analytical method combined with post-structuralist textual analysis, the research synthesizes existing literature and conducts interpretive readings of selected AI-generated texts. Through Derridean deconstruction and Foucault’s concept of the “author-function,” this study explores how algorithmic creativity challenges the metaphysics of originality and intentionality. Method. Results. The findings reveal that AI-generated literature destabilizes the humanist framework of creative agency , producing hybrid narratives where authorship becomes distributed, contingent, and collaborative between human and machine. However, this post-human creativity also exposes ethical and philosophical tensions related to authorship, ownership, and meaning-making. Conclusion. The study concludes that literary creation in the age of AI demands a reconfiguration of aesthetic and epistemic assumptions about what it means to “create,” inviting a new hermeneutics of reading that acknowledges the co-agency of the artificial and the human.

Abstract

Access to healthcare in rural Indonesia remains a significant challenge due to limited medical resources and healthcare personnel, leading to delayed diagnosis and suboptimal patient care. Remote patient monitoring offers a potential solution by enabling real-time health assessments and reducing the need for long-distance travel to healthcare facilities. This study aims to design and implement a systemic Artificial Intelligence and Cyber-Physical Systems framework for real-time remote patient monitoring in rural primary health clinics in Indonesia to enhance patient care, support early disease detection, and optimize healthcare resource allocation. The research employed a hybrid AI–CPS approach that integrated wearable health devices, Internet of Things sensors, and cloud computing infrastructure to continuously monitor patient vital signs. Artificial Intelligence algorithms were utilized to analyze health data and identify early signs of potential health anomalies. Data were collected from multiple rural Puskesmas where remote monitoring devices were installed, and system performance was evaluated using metrics including data accuracy, response time, and user satisfaction. The results indicated that the system achieved a high level of accuracy, with a 92 percent success rate in predicting potential health anomalies, while feedback from healthcare workers and patients demonstrated positive perceptions, particularly in terms of convenience, efficiency, and time savings. Overall, the findings confirm that the AI and Cyber-Physical Systems-based remote patient monitoring framework is effective in improving healthcare delivery in rural Indonesian clinics and holds strong potential as a scalable solution to enhance accessibility and quality of rural healthcare services.

Abstract

Increasing complexity in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations demands faster, more accurate, and scalable approaches for solving highly nonlinear equations. Conventional high-performance computing remains effective in aerospace engineering but faces limitations in large-scale turbulence modeling, compressible flows, multiphysics interactions, and optimization requiring intensive iterations. This study evaluated the effectiveness of hybrid quantum-classical computing for solving complex nonlinear CFD equations and improving aerospace simulation performance. A mixed-methods sequential explanatory design involved 540 computational benchmark simulations and 240 experimental scenarios covering conventional solvers, hybrid quantum-classical optimization, and quantum-enhanced nonlinear solvers. Quantitative analyses used descriptive statistics, structural equation modeling, hierarchical regression, mediation, and moderation analysis, while qualitative evidence from expert interviews, computational observations, software evaluations, and document reviews underwent thematic analysis. Results showed that hybrid quantum-classical computing significantly improved convergence efficiency, numerical accuracy, turbulence prediction, scalability, residual error reduction, and simulation reliability. Hybrid optimization partially mediated the effect of quantum algorithms on computational efficiency, while mesh optimization strengthened convergence and engineering accuracy. These findings support integrating quantum computing with established CFD methods to enable faster optimization, stronger prediction, and scalable next-generation aerospace simulations.

Abstract

Background. In coastal 3T regions, referring to remote, outermost, and disadvantaged areas, access to basic education is still not simple. The policy looks clear on paper, but village life is more complicated. Free tuition helps, yet distance, transport cost, family work, and local views about schooling still shape the decision of parents. Earlier studies have discussed these issues, but fewer have shown how distance and culture meet in everyday coastal families. Purpose. This research describes the social, cultural, economic, and geographical barriers that limit children's access to school and madrasah education in Kedabu Rapat Village, Kepulauan Meranti. Method. The research used a quantitative descriptive design. Data were collected from 48 farming and fishing households selected through simple random sampling from 96 households with school-aged children. The data were analyzed through frequencies and percentages. Results. Households with three to four school-aged children had the highest dropout proportion. In this group, 13 of 23 households, or 56.52%, reported children who no longer attended school. In the whole sample, 18 of 48 households, or 37.50%, reported dropout cases. Low parental motivation appeared in 33.34% of responses. The most common barrier was the combination of school distance and sociocultural belief, reported by 56.26% of respondents. Conclusion. Geographical isolation creates more than a travel problem. It also makes farming and fishing look more practical than schooling, especially when family income is uncertain and the road to school is not easy.

Abstract

Dissimilar steel joints are increasingly employed in demanding engineering structures, yet repeated thermal cycles during multi-pass welding can generate complex microstructural heterogeneity and localized mechanical-property gradients that affect structural integrity. This study investigates the relationship between cumulative welding thermal history, microstructural evolution, local property variation, and tensile fracture behavior in multi-pass dissimilar steel joints. An experimental laboratory design integrated controlled multi-pass welding, metallographic characterization, microhardness mapping, transverse tensile testing, fracture-location analysis, and fractographic examination to establish process–structure–property relationships. The results revealed pronounced microstructural and hardness variations across the weld metal, fusion boundaries, heat-affected zones, and base materials due to unequal thermal histories and repeated reheating. Tensile fracture occurred preferentially within or adjacent to mechanically heterogeneous transition regions rather than consistently within the weld centerline or maximum-hardness zone, demonstrating the critical influence of local strength–ductility mismatch and deformation compatibility. The study concludes that tensile performance cannot be adequately explained by average strength or peak hardness alone. An integrated pathway linking thermal history, microstructural evolution, property gradients, strain localization, and fracture behavior provides a stronger mechanistic framework for evaluating joint integrity and optimizing multi-pass welding procedures for reliable dissimilar steel structures under demanding industrial service conditions.
