Abstract

The taklim assembly is a place of religious learning that has a great influence on the religious development of the community, the taklim assembly is present in the midst of society with the hope of being able to make a positive contribution to its congregation. This study aims to determine the increase in understanding of the figh of worship through the study of the Safinatunnajah book at the Arofah Ta'lim Assembly in Karang Hamlet, Prajegan Village. The research method used is qualitative with an ABCD approach with existing asset developers. Data collection techniques are done through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the study of Safinatunnajah book in Majelis Ta'lim Arofah Karang Hamlet, Prajegan Village has increased the understanding of the congregation about the figh of worship. The increase in understanding can be seen from several indicators, namely: Increased knowledge of jama'ah about the pillars, conditions, and sunnah of worship. The increasing ability of the congregation in performing worship correctly and according to Islamic law. Increased awareness of the importance of performing worship solemnly and sincerely. Increased motivation of the congregation to learn more about the figh of worship. This increased understanding of figh of worship is influenced by several factors, namely: teaching methods used by the ustadz, study materials that are easy to understand, and a conducive learning atmosphere. This research recommends that Majelis Ta'lim Arofah Karang Hamlet, Prajegan Village, continue to improve the quality of its teaching.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of tutoring in minimizing gadget use among elementary school-aged children in Prajegan Village through the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) method. With the increasing use of digital technology, children often fall into excessive gadget use, which can interfere with their academic and social development. This study employs a qualitative approach using PRA techniques, including participatory interviews, direct observations, and focus group discussions with parents, tutors, and children. The findings indicate that effective tutoring not only improves children's academic skills but also reduces their dependence on gadgets. Tutoring programs designed using the PRA method enable active participation from all parties to create interactive and educational activities, which can divert children's attention away from gadgets and provide them with more beneficial alternatives. Therefore, tutoring through the PRA method plays a crucial role in supporting children's development by reducing screen time and enhancing their engagement in more productive activities. The results of this study provide important insights for educators and parents in designing strategies to manage screen use and promote more balanced learning in the digital age.

Abstract

Food security in Prajegan Village, Sukorejo Ponorogo, is still considered vulnerable. One of the efforts to overcome this is by applying hydroponic technology for lettuce cultivation. Lettuce cultivation with soil media in this village has several disadvantages, such as slow growth, low yields, suboptimal quality, susceptibility to pests and diseases, and large land requirements. Hydroponics, a soil-less method of plant cultivation, offers a solution through faster growth, higher yields, optimised quality, resistance to pests and diseases, and land saving. This study aims to analyse the effect of hydroponics on the productivity and quality of lettuce plants in Prajegan Village, Sukorejo Ponorogo. This type of research method used is a type of field research, namely research carried out by going directly to the place of the object of research, in order to obtain the data needed, especially data specific to the research The results showed that hydroponics significantly increased the productivity and quality of lettuce plants. Hydroponic lettuce grows faster, produces higher yields, and has more optimal quality compared to lettuce grown with soil media. This shows that hydroponics can be an effective solution to improve food security in Prajegan Village, Sukorejo Ponorogo.

Abstract

The snack bouquet making training is a strategic initiative designed to enhance the creativity and skills of PKK (Family Welfare Empowerment) members, especially mothers. The program aims to introduce creative techniques in making a snack bouquet, which not only serves as a food presentation, but also as an aesthetic and value-added element in social events and celebrations. Through this training, participants will gain a practical understanding of how to select ingredients, preparation techniques, and decoration of an attractive and innovative snack bouquet. The training includes both theoretical and practical sessions, designed to provide basic knowledge as well as technical skills in snack bouquet making. Participants will learn about the different types of snacks that can be used, efficient arrangement techniques, and how to decorate the bouquet to make it look attractive and match the theme of the event. With this training, PKK women are expected to apply their new skills in various occasions, both for personal use and in social activities in their communities. The expected outcomes of the training include increased creativity in food preparation, development of decoration skills, as well as added aesthetic value in food presentation. In addition, the training aims to strengthen the spirit of gotong royong and togetherness among PKK members, as well as provide them with tools that can increase danceability.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kurangnya keterampilan membaca anak usia dini dan kurangnya waktu pembelajaran membaca karena lebih terfokus pada pembelajaran tahfidz. Tujuan penelitian ini merupakan meningkatkan kemampuan membaca anak dengan metode suku kata yang lebih tepat digunagan untuk anau usia dini. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi RA Al-Ghazali Desa Sukorejo. Metode yang digunakan adalah Asset Based Community Development (ABCD). Untuk mengumpulkan data tentang kemampuan membaca anak usia dini digunakan pedoman observasi yang dilakukan selama masa pengabdian. Dengan diadakannya pendampingan membaca anak dengan metode suku kata ini memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan akademik dan kognitif anak serta menunjukkan hasil yang positif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca anak-anak. This research was motivated by the lack of reading skills in early childhood and the lack of time for learning to read because it was more focused on learning tahfidz. The aim of this research is to improve children's reading ability with a syllabic method that is more appropriate for young children. The population in this study were students from RA Al-Ghazali, Sukorejo Village. The method used is Asset Based Community Development (ABCD). To collect data about early childhood reading abilities, observation guidelines were used during the service period. By providing assistance to children's reading using the syllabic method, this has a significant influence on children's academic and cognitive abilities and shows positive results in improving children's reading abilities.

Abstract

Motor development is very important for early childhood growth and development. Motor development is divided into 2, namely fine motor and gross motor. Fine motor usually uses small muscles and gross motor uses large muscles. Activities that can hone fine motor skills such as writing, scissors, coloring and sticking. Painting is an activity that uses canvas but instead uses thin sponges, liquid dyes, brushes and palettes. At the end of the school introduction period, PKK Prajegan Kindergarten held a painting activity to hone the ability to combine hand and eye movements. In this study, observation and documentation are used. This activity was carried out by approximately 30 children from group A and group B. children were very enthusiastic in this activity. The purpose of this painting activity is to train concentration in hand and eye movements, practice patience, social-emotional and get to know the surrounding environment. It can also be a memory for children when they are adults.

Abstract

Psychological well-being is a general term used to describe an individual's mental health concerning the fulfillment of positive indicators of psychological functioning. Psychological well-being can be characterized as an indicator of good mental functioning and the drive to explore the potential of the individual as a whole to achieve success. This writing aims to explain the practice of counseling psychological well-being for adolescents using the benefits of environmental ecology introduced by Uri Bronfenbrenner, a psychologist from Cornell University, United States. Ecological theory views that the environmental context influences human development. The research method uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The researcher explains the activities, starting from preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The research results show that adolescent mental health assistance through an ecological approach goes very well. Great environmental ecology influences adolescents' psychological well-being.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic significantly altered educational practices, leading to the widespread adoption of blended learning, which integrates face-to-face and online instruction. As schools transition into the post-pandemic era, blended learning has evolved from a crisis-response tool into a lasting pedagogical approach. This study aimed to investigate the challenges and innovations in implementing blended learning within post-pandemic classrooms in Indonesia. Using a qualitative research method, the study was conducted from January to March 2025 in three secondary schools and two higher education institutions representing diverse socio-economic and technological backgrounds. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, focus group discussions, and classroom observations involving 25 participants, including teachers, students, and administrators. The findings revealed significant challenges, such as unequal access to technology, difficulties in maintaining student engagement, and the need for pedagogical adaptation and professional development. However, the study also highlighted innovative practices, including the use of collaborative platforms, multimedia resources, and student-centered learning models that enhanced engagement and independent learning. Teachers reported a transformation in their roles, shifting from content deliverers to learning facilitators. Despite progress, both students and educators expressed the need for stronger support systems to navigate hybrid learning effectively. The study concludes that while blended learning offers flexibility and digital engagement opportunities, its sustainability depends on addressing technological, pedagogical, and human-centered challenges.

Abstract

In the era of rapid technological advancement, digital literacy has become a fundamental competency required for success in the modern workforce. However, there remains a gap between the digital skills taught in educational settings and the competencies needed by employers. This study explores how digital literacy can be integrated as a core competency in educational systems, aiming to better prepare students for the digital-first workforce. Using a qualitative case study approach, the research involved in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and document analysis across several educational institutions. The study found that while there is growing recognition of the importance of digital literacy, its integration remains inconsistent, with many institutions focusing primarily on technical skills rather than the broader cognitive and ethical aspects of digital literacy. Additionally, gaps in teacher training and the lack of standardized frameworks for teaching digital literacy were identified as key challenges. The study concludes that a more comprehensive and standardized approach is needed to incorporate critical thinking, ethical engagement, and adaptability to ensure students are fully prepared for the digital workforce.
