Abstract

The use of organic fertilizers in Indonesia is increasing, this is due to the scarcity of synthetic fertilizers. Organic fertilizers have their own challenges in terms of the concentration they contain. In addition, some organic materials that exist today are very abundant, so it needs to be used as organic fertilizer, one of which is betel leaf. However, betel leaf itself is an additional ingredient that can increase the existing nutrient content. In this study, analysis of the macro elements in organic fertilizers was carried out by adding variations in the amount of betel leaf raw material. The research was conducted using variations of betel leaf extract 2%, 4%, and 6%. The test analysis in this study was in the form of N, P, and K levels. The results showed that the highest N content was in the 4% betel leaf variation, which was 0.1%, the highest P content was in the 2% variation, which was 0.04%, and the highest K content was at 2% variation, namely 0.066%. From these results, it can be said that there was no significant effect of the addition of betel leaf extract on the macro-nutrient content of liquid organic fertilizer.

Abstract

This community service aims to improve early childhood literacy through Calistung (Reading, Writing, and Counting) mentoring using the card method in Kindergarten. The card method is used to help children recognize letters, numbers, and improve reading and writing skills interactively. Mentoring activities are carried out by introducing various letter, number, and picture cards that are in accordance with the material being taught. Mentoring is carried out in a fun way through games and movements that involve the active participation of children. The evaluation results show that children have improved in recognizing letters, numbers, and reading and writing skills. This program has also succeeded in increasing children's motivation to learn in a fun way. With a visual approach and games, children find it easier to understand basic literacy concepts. Mentoring using the card method has proven effective in improving basic literacy skills in early childhood, creating a positive learning atmosphere, and supporting children's cognitive development

Abstract

Orientasi kewirausahaan, yang meliputi inovasi, proaktivitas, dan keberanian mengambil risiko, diyakini dapat meningkatkan keunggulan kompetitif dan kinerja UMKM. Keunggulan kompetitif mencerminkan kemampuan UMKM menciptakan nilai tambah melalui diferensiasi produk, kualitas unggul, dan harga kompetitif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh orientasi kewirausahaan terhadap kinerja UMKM, dengan keunggulan kompetitif sebagai variabel mediasi. Penelitian berfokus pada wanita wirausaha di Kecamatan Sumbawa, Kabupaten Sumbawa, yang memainkan peran penting dalam perekonomian lokal. Alat analisis yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian yaitu metode Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Populasi terdiri dari UMKM yang dimiliki oleh wanita di Kecamatan Sumbawa, dengan menggunakan perhitungan jumlah jalur dikalikan sepuluh didapatkan sampel sebanyak 60 responden yang dipilih dengan cara purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa orientasi kewirausahaan memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja UMKM, baik secara langsung maupun melalui keunggulan kompetitif sebagai variabel mediasi. Wanita wirausaha yang berorientasi kewirausahaan terbukti mampu menciptakan keunggulan kompetitif yang mendukung pertumbuhan usaha.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the Gompertz model can represent the depreciation of assets for the Honda Brio car. The research uses data on the value of the Honda Brio car, without considering the model series, from official Honda Indonesia websites and the OLX Indonesia online marketplace. The data collected includes the value of the Honda Brio from 0 years of use up to 7 years of use. The analysis results show that the Gompertz model can represent the depreciation of the Honda Brio vehicle asset for a usage period of 2 years, experiencing a decline of 7% to 13% from its initial price; for 5 years of use, a decrease of 19% to 29% from its initial price; for 10 years of use, a depreciation of 34% to 49% from its initial price; and for usage beyond 10 years, a depreciation of over 50%. The R Squared value of the model was found to be 93.36%. These findings provide insights for both the public and the government to make informed decisions and policies that are beneficial in addressing the depreciation of the Honda Brio vehicle asset..

Abstract

MSME XYZ is one of the active UMKM and has considerable market potential in West Sumbawa Regency. The problem commonly faced by UMKM, especially MSME XYZ is how to properly combine production factors or resources owned to obtain maximum profit. This study aimed to determine the production process's optimization and the maximum profit obtained by MSME XYZ by using the branch and bound method. Based on the study's results, it was obtained that for effective optimization of the production process, MSME XYZ should produce 16 packages of seaweed sticks, 11 packages of seaweed dodol, 8 packages of seaweed brownies, and 4 packages of seaweed ice cream in one production. So that the total profit from each type of product in each package is Rp. 243.700 for one-time production. The maximum profit obtained by MSME XYZ in one production is Rp. 110.712 and an increase in profits of 5,7% from factual conditions

Abstract

The use of marine products in almost all coastal locations in Indonesia has stagnated in selling value. This is because people in Indonesia have not processed marine products properly. One location that has problems like this is in Labu Ijuk, in the District of Moyo Hilir, Sumbawa Regency. In this activity, Lecturers from the Agricultural Industrial Technology Study Program, Sumbawa University of Technology (TIP-UTS) conducted training for the local community, especially those who work as fishermen. The training carried out was in the form of training in making floss and crackers from the basic ingredients of fish caught by local fishermen. The type of fish used is flying fish with the Latin name Decapterus. This fish is very abundant. After that, the material was given directly by the TIP-UTS Lecturer. The results of this service produce fish floss and fish crackers which must be dried in the sun first. After production was carried out, the team agreed with the community to develop packaging types and marketing methods using several online platforms.

Abstract

Briket memiliki keunggulan pembakaran tanpa asap dan durasi pembakaran yang lama, namun masyarakat masih kurang mengenal potensinya meski bahan bakunya melimpah dan berkualitas, seperti tongkol jagung. Untuk itu, Program Pengabdian Masyarakat Pemula ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemanfaatan limbah tongkol jagung dan ekonomi warga melalui pelatihan inovasi pembuatan briket. Program ini didanai oleh Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi Republik Indonesia dan bermitra dengan Kelompok Tani Ternak Bulan Suar di Dusun Batu Bulan, Sumbawa. Kegiatan dimulai dengan sosialisasi dan pelatihan, diikuti penerapan teknologi pencetakan briket semi otomatis tanpa perekat. Tim dosen dan mahasiswa juga memberikan pelatihan packing yang baik serta membangun platform e-commerce seperti Shopee dan Tokopedia untuk pemasaran. Pendampingan berkelanjutan dilakukan untuk perbaikan produksi dan pemasaran. Evaluasi pelatihan menunjukkan hasil positif, dengan 89% peserta puas, 90% merasa keterampilannya meningkat, 85% menilai pelatihan bermanfaat, 78% merasa pelatihan cukup mengatasi masalah, dan 89% menganggapnya relevan bagi kebijakan desa. Program ini berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam pengolahan limbah menjadi produk bernilai ekonomis.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, wawasan, dan literasi keamanan berkendara di jalan bagi siswa-siswi SMA/SMK/MA dan sederajat. Metode yang digunakan mencakup sosialisasi, penyuluhan, ceramah, tanya jawab, kepada 100 peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan Kegiatan pengabdian Masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh Program Studi Aktuaria Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta mengenai asuransi kendaraan dan keselamatan berkendara. Peserta yang awalnya belum memahami detail ketentuan Undang-Undang Nomor 33 dan 34 tahun 1964 tentang Dana Pertanggungan Wajib Kecelakaan Penumpang Umum tentang Lalu Lintas dan Angkutan Jalan sehingga diperlukan pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif terkait lalu lintas jalan raya untuk mengurangi angka kecelakaan lalu lintas. Pasca sosialisasi, insights para peserta semakin meningkat. Pemahaman dalam keamanan berkendara motor menjadi luas dan juga tentang asuransi yang diberikan oleh PT. Jasa Raharja

Abstract

Coffee is an agro-industrial product commodity that has the potential to be developed, because it can be processed into ground coffee products with various flavors and can last a long time. This study aims to analyze the added value of Kades Coffee Agro-industry products in the MSME’s of Agal Deta which located in Marente Village, Alas District, Sumbawa Besar Regency using the Hayami method. The variables used in this method include input output and prices, revenues and profits, and margins. The results of the analysis of the added value of Kades coffee on the output, input and price variables obtained a conversion factor value of 5 kg/production cycle and a labor efficiency of 0.32 HOK/kg. The revenue and profit variables obtain of added value ratio of 76%, a profit level of 83% and an added value of 95,000 IDR. The margin variable gains a profit of 79% with a margin value of 100,000 IDR. The added value of Kades coffee is included in the profitable business category because it gets a added value ratio of above 40%.
