Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in science learning in elementary schools. The focus of the study includes how the principles of the Independent Curriculum are applied, the challenges faced by teachers, and the strategies used to deliver science material contextually and meaningfully. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The results indicate that the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in science learning provides space for students to explore science concepts actively, collaboratively, and project-based. However, challenges remain regarding teacher preparedness and limited infrastructure. This study recommends strengthening teacher competencies, providing contextual learning resources, and synergy between schools, parents, and the community to support science learning based on the Independent Curriculum.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena adanya indikasi permasalahan pada kemampuan motorik kasar anak kelainan majemuk (Tunarungu-Autis) di SLB Sehati. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui jenis gangguan apa saja dan adakah hambatan lain yang dialami anak. Metode penelitian pada penelitian ini pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Penelitian dilakukan di Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) Sehati Karimun, dengan subjek satu anak laki-laki berusia 15 tahun, kelas 8 SMPLB. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini ialah wawancara dan obervasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa siswa mengalami permasalahan pada kemampuan motorik yakni motorik kasar yang disebabkan oleh kelainan majemuk yang dialami anak dan disebabkan oleh karakteristik fisik anak. Subjek terdeteksi mengalami gangguan pendengaran sejak berusia balita dan baru terdeteksi mengalami autis saat mulai bersekolah di taman kanak-kanak di SLB.

Abstract

Moderately retarded children have a low ability to take care of themselves, namely toilet training, especially brushing their teeth properly. This is due to the cognitive barriers they have. In addition, the lack of learning media used is also one of the contributing factors. This study aims to overcome the low ability of self-brushing teeth in moderate mental retardation children in SLB YPBB Karimun by developing an educational book product for self-brushing teeth. The research subjects were TKLB moderate mental retardation students who were in SLB YPBB Karimun. The selection of research subjects is based on the results of the ability of self-help brushing teeth, which is still low but can still be directed. The type of research used is Research and Development / R&D (Research and Development). This research uses a Mental retardation research design supported by a quantitative approach. Based on the validity test of several experts, the results were obtained; media experts with an average value of 3.0 with the criteria "worthy". Material experts with an average score of 3.5 with the criteria "very feasible". Test results from user responses, namely teachers 3.6 with the category "Very Feasible". This study shows that the Educational Book of Self-Brushing Teeth has been declared feasible to use in the learning process to train the ability of self-brushing teeth in moderate TKLB students at SLB YPBB Karimun.

Abstract

Pemerintah melalui kementerian pendidikan dan kebudayaan saat ini menaruh perhatian khusus terhadap peningkatan kuwalitas layanan pendidikan pada siswa berkebutuhan khusus, salah satunya adalah siswa tunaghrahita. Siswa tungahrahita merupakan anak yang memililiki kelainan dan keterabatasan secara intelektual, di mana kecerdasan yang dimiliki tergolong sangat rendah dengan IQ rata-rata 68-52%. Dalam konteks ini, perkembangan kognitif anak tunagrahita yang terjadi pada setiap fase seringkali gagal dalam melakukan transfer persepsi verbal dan non-verbal. Akibatnya, anak tunagrahita lemah dalam mengingat, baik mengingat jangka panjang maupun jangka pendek. Gangguan tersebut dapat menghambat perkembangan pendidikannya, terutama pada materi gerakan sholat, di mana siswa tuangrahita masih belum mampu menghapal dan mempraktekkan gerakan-gerakan sholat secara benar. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan kemampuan daya ingat gerakan sholat pada anak tunagrahita ringan sebelum menggunakan media ritatoon, menggambarkan kemampuan daya ingat gerakan doa pada anak tunagrahita ringan setelah menggunakan media ritatoon. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah desain Pra Eksperimental dalam bentuk desain One pretest posttest. Instrumen penelitian adalah tes tertulis dan tes kinerja. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah Uji Prasyarat menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Hasil uji anova tes tulis memperoleh hasil sig. 0,000. Karena nilai excact sig. < taraf nyata (α = 0,05), dan hasil uji anova tes kinerja memperoleh hasil sig. 0,001. Karena nilai excact sig. < taraf nyata (α = 0,05), maka Ho ditolak. Yang artinya strategi media pembelajaran ritatoon dapat meningkatkan daya ingat gerakan sholat siswa tunagrahita ringan kelas V. Kata Kunci: Media ritatoon, daya ingat gerakan sholat, tunagrahita ringan.

Abstract

This article refers to developmental research related to the Borg & Gall research concept with seven modified development steps. The purpose of the study in this article was to produce a product namely mini billiards to increase the concentration of children with autism. To ensure whether the product was suitable for use or not, it also involved an expert assessment consisting of Learning Media Experts, Learning Experts of Special Needs Children, and Recreational Sports Small Game Experts. The product trial was divided into two stages, a smallscale trial involving 13 students with autism and a large-scale trial involving 20 students with autism. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used a qualitative descriptive technique. Based on the results of expert assessments and trials, the product was a good category. Clearly, the product was suitable for use to increase concentration in children with autism.

Abstract

This research was development research with seven steps of development from Borg & Gall aiming to produce a product, namely the Story Book to Covid Prevention. This study involves three validators, the media validator to assess the appearance of the product, the content validator to assess the material in the book, and the user validator. Small-scale trials involved 30 students, and large-scale trials involved 60 students. Data were collected by using an observation approach, questionnaire sheets, and competency tests with descriptive data analysis techniques. Based on the results of product trials and the assessment of the validator, the results of the assessment were good. Thus, this concluded that the Covid-19 Prevention and Transmission Picture Story Book is feasible and effective to use.
