Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using pop up book media on the ability to recognize numbers 1-10 in mild mentally retarded children at SDLB YPBB Karimun. This type of research is a quantitative research with a single subject approach (single subject research) which focuses on individual data as research samples. The results of the study concluded that the use of pop up book media can improve the ability to recognize numbers 1-10 students with mild mental retardation class II SDLB YPBB Karimun. In the baseline condition (AI) the ability of mentally retarded students is still low with a mean level of 53.25%, then after being given treatment or in the Intervention condition (B) there is an increase in the ability to recognize numbers 1-10 with a mean level of 69% and can be maintained at the Baseline condition ( A2) with the mean level increasing to 85%. Thus the pop up book media can improve the ability to recognize the number of children with mild mental retardation II SDLB YPBB Karimun.

Abstract

Dalam belajar membaca sangat berkaitan dengan kemampuan mengenal huruf, karena siswa yang kesulitan dalam mengenal huruf tentunya akan kesulitan dalam belajar membaca. Materi mengenal huruf perlu diberikan kepada siswa tunagrahita agar dapat membaca dan mampu mengikuti semua kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah. Selama ini proses pembelajaran yang berlangsung pada materi mengenal huruf pada siswa tunagrahita sedang masih bersifat konvensional. kemampuan siswa tunagrahita katagori sedang yang mudah lupa dalam mengingat materi pembelajaran termasuk dalam hal mengingat huruf, maka dari itu peneliti membuat media yang layak untuk siswa tunagrahita sedang dalam mengenal huruf yaitu media surprise box. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan atau Researd and Developmen (R&D) dengan desain four-D Thiagarajan, untuk menghasilkan produk, menguji kevalidan dari segi ahli materi ahli media, respon pengguna guru kelas, uji coba skala besar dan skala kecil. Hasil dari kedua validator ahli materi mendapatkan skor 85,7% dengan kategori sangat valid. Hasil dari kedua validator ahli media mendapatkan skor rata-rata 84% dengan kategori sangat valid. Berdasarkan kedua hali materi dan ahli media dapat disimpulkan bahwa media surprise box sangat sayak digunakan untuk media pembelajaran mengenal huruf pada anak tungrahita sedang di SLB Negeri Karimun. Hasil dari respon pengguna media surprise box dari respon siswa dengan uji coba skala kecil dan besar memperoleh nilai 91,6% dengan katagori sangat valid. Hasil dari respon guru terhadapa media surprise box untuk mengenal huruf pada siswa tunagrahita memperoleh nilai 97% dengan katagori sangat valid, respon guru terhadap media ini mendorong kemauan siswa dalam belajar mengenal huruf.

Abstract

The problem in this study is that there is no varied learning model in sports learning, especially to improve the motor skills of deaf students. This study aims to create a basic movement learning model for sports motor skills in deaf students. This study uses the ADDIE method, in ADDIE research 5 stages namely analysis, design, model development, implementation, and evaluation. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The results of the study are: a) The development of a basic motion learning model for sports motor skills in deaf students is feasible and can be used. b) The product of basic motion learning models for sports motor skills for deaf students has been tested and proven to improve the motor skills of deaf children. The development of basic movement learning models for sports skills for deaf students has a 100% ease of implementation, 86.3% clarity of implementation, 100% interest, 81.8% safety in implementation and 86.3% of equipment used.

Abstract

Siswa down syndrome memiliki kemampuan yang rendah untuk mengenal angka dengan baik. Hal ini dikarenakan adanya hambatan kognitif yang dimiliki siswa. Selain itu, kurangnya media pembelajaran yang digunakan juga menjadi salah satu faktor penyebabnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi rendahnya kemampuan mengenal angka pada siswa down syndrome di SLB Negeri Karimun dengan mengembangkan sebuah produk yakni media permainan Biliar Mini. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa/I down syndrome yang berada di SLB Negeri Karimun pada seluruh jenjang tingkatan sekolah. Pemilihan subjek penelitian didasarkan pada hasil kemampuan mengenal angka yang lebih rendah dibandingkan siswa yang lain serta memiliki kemampuan berinteraksi yang lebih baik. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development/ R&D (Penelitian dan Pengembangan). Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian Four-D Thiagarajan yang didukung pendekatan kuantitatif. Berdasarkan uji kevalidan dari beberapa ahli diperoleh hasil; (1). Ahli media dengan nilai rata-rata 3,28 dengan kriteria “Sangat Layak”. (2). Ahli down syndrome dengan nilai rata-rata 3,80 dengan kriteria “sangat layak”. Hasil uji dari respon pengguna yaitu guru 3,22 dengan kategori “Layak”, dan respon pengguna siswa memperoleh hasil 3,65 yang mendapat kriteria “Sangat Layak”. Penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa menggunakan media permainan biliar mini telah dinyatakan layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran untuk pengenalan angka 0 sampai 9 pada siswa down syndrome di SLB Negeri Karimun

Abstract

The purpose of this service activity is to provide awareness of environmental cleanliness and invite the community and tourists to maintain the cleanliness of the crab beach in Pongkar Village. The method used in this service is the observation and participation method with three stages of activities for the participants, namely before the activity, the implementation of the activity and after the activity. This service activity was carried out at Ketam Beach, Pongkar Tanjung Balai Karimun Village, which was attended by 62 people consisting of lecturers, students, the surrounding community and tourists. This beach clean-up activity can be carried out smoothly in accordance with the planned activities. This activity can develop the mindset of the community and increase their awareness in preventing environmental pollution which can later make the beach clean, beautiful and comfortable and can increase the visiting power of tourists to the beach.

Abstract

Deaf students are one of the students with special needs who have hearing impairments and require special services in communicating. The existence of obstacles or distractions that are owned by deaf students does not mean that deaf students do not have potential or abilities that can be developed. One of the potentials that can be developed by deaf students is through learning batik skills. This study aims to obtain an overview of the learning of batik skills to deaf children in class IX at SLB Karimun Negeri using a qualitative descriptive approach, namely describing lesson planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning batik skills. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. Data validation technique through triangulation technique. Data analysis by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that in carrying out batik skills, the following steps were carried out: 1) lesson planning by designing lesson plans according to core competencies and basic competencies and adapted to the needs and conditions of deaf students; 2) implementation of learning, including preliminary activities, core activities, and closing; 3) then the learning evaluation stage is through the work of deaf students applied to tablecloths. Assessment by paying attention to cognitive aspects, affective aspects, and psychomotor aspects.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the ability to Recognize basic nouns in the moderate intellectual disability before using the media ritatoon, describes the ability to Recognize basic nouns in moderate intellectual disability after using ritatoon media. The design used in this research is Pre Experimental Design with One Group Pre-test Post-test Design. The research instruments are written tests and performance tests for the pretest and posttest. The analysis technique used is the prerequisite Test using the normality test and homogeneity test that was completed with the help of a computer program SPSS 23.0 for Windows and Anova test

This study aims to determine the effect of using Project Based Learning (PjBL) and Inquiry Learning models on learning outcomes. The research used is quantitative research with experimental methods. The design in this study uses a Quasi Experimental design with the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The location of this research is at SD Negeri 007 Tebing. The sampling technique in this study is total sampling where all members of the population are used as research samples, so the sample in this study amounted to 33 fourth grade students of SD Negeri 007 Tebing. The data source used is primary data, namely the researcher went directly to collect data. Data collection techniques in this study are: observation, interviews, documentation, and tests. The research instrument used is a test instrument with a data analysis technique in the form of a t-test. Based on data analysis, the results of the study showed that: 1) There is an effect of using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model on the learning outcomes of science in the material of changes in the state of matter in fourth grade students of SD Negeri 007 Tebing, with t count 6.97 t table 2.080. 2) There is an influence of the use of the Inquiry Learning model on the learning outcomes of science in the material of changes in the state of matter in grade IV students of SD Negeri 007 Tebing, with t count 4.00 t table 2.228. 3) There is a significant difference in the influence of the use of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) and Inquiry Learning models on the learning outcomes of science in the material of changes in the state of matter in grade IV students of SD Negeri 007 Tebing, with t count 2.564 t table 2.040.

Abstract

After COVID-19 pandemic era, the online teaching process has been adapted and used for various learning purposes. Some of the shortcomings of the online system are the limited interaction in practical learning, such as application-based practice. In addition, the process of practicum is not optimal because some students cannot carry out the instructions given due to the limited equipment of the students such as personal computers or laptops. Therefore, this research was conducted to make modifications to the application-based practicum system (AutoCAD practicum) with a remote system using the Team Viewer application. This study uses mixed method qualitative and quantitative where the questionnaire was given to participants after the training. The population that will be used in this study are all students who take the Introduction to Design engineering course with AutoCAD Practicum material. The results of this study show that the accessibility, interface and operation of the AutoCAD application can be done properly using the Team Viewer application with the students' smartphone media so that the practicum can be done properly. This strategy can overcome the problems of limited equipment and passive interaction during the practicum process. In addition, the strategies and methods can be widely applied to learning in general and other application-based practicums.
