Abstract

Abstrak. Pembelajaran Berbasis Etnosains Di Sekolah Dasar. Etnosains merupakan strategi penciptaan lingkungan belajar dan perancangan pengalaman belajar yang mengintegrasikan budaya sebagai bagian dari proses pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar. Pengintegrasian etnosains dalam pembelajaran dapat menggambarkan secara jelas kekhasan materi ajar, ruang kelas, lingkungan belajar, metode pembelajaran maupun pendekatan pembelajaran yang berbasis budaya. Proses pembelajaran akan efektif jika etnosains diintegrasikan kedalam tema-tema pembelajaran sebagai tema pokok pembelajaran. Misalnya tentang pengetahuan budaya yang berkaitan ritual adat, tanaman obat-obatan tradisional, rumah adat, dan pengetahuan budaya lainnya yang relevansi dengan tema pembelajaran.Etnosains dapat diimplementasikan melalui metode pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa melalui metode problem based learning (PBL), project based learning (PjBL), discovery, inkuiri, dan keterampilan proses. Dengan pengintegrasian etnosains maka pembelajaran yang berlangsung bukan saja menggali pengetahuan deklaratif siswa, tetapi juga pengetahuan prosedural yang mengacu pada konstruktivisme.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a jigsaw cooperative learning-oriented learning tool, then see its impact on the process and student learning outcomes of biology. The development adopts the Morrison, Ross, & Kemp (2010) model, which consists of nine stages and ends with field trials to produce teaching materials, teacher guides, lesson plans, LKPD, and test questions. Trial I was carried out on grade X MA Darun Najah Duman, to produce draft 1 learning tools and validate research instruments. Trial II on students of MA Putri NW Narmada. Measured aspects of the learning process include: observing the ability of teachers to apply learning tools, teacher and student activities, student cooperative skills, and capturing student responses with questionnaires. Learning outcomes are shown from the final test score. Testing using a one-group pretest-posttest design. Data from observations and questionnaires were analyzed using descriptive statistics and test score data were analyzed using the t one-sample test statistic using SPSS 16.0 for Windows. The results showed that the tools developed were able to be applied by teachers, increased teacher and student activities, encouraged students to do positive activities in learning, and accustomed students to cooperative skills. Students are happy with learning, so that learning that applies a jigsaw cooperative learning model-oriented device has a significant effect on the achievement of the minimum completeness criteria of students (μ = 78, μ0 = 67, t = 6,800, p = .000 <.005) The learning tools developed are suitable for use in biology learning at madrasah aliyah in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the availability and use of science learning media in class 6th of Catholic private elementary schools at Langke Rembong District. This research method is in the form of a survey that focuses on two things, namely the availability and use of science learning media. The study was conducted to all the science teachers in class 6th totaling 46 teachers as a population, then the data were only taken from 23 teachers as a sample selected purposively. Instruments used were questionnaires, checklists, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the availability of science learning media in those schools were sufficient. However, many media were in damaged conditions. Those happened because they were stored, not used. Most teachers were not trained to use that media and had no initiative to solve the problem. Therefore, in terms of utilization, only good media is utilized to its full potential.

Abstract

This PKM departs from the many problems of online learning during the current COVID-19 pandemic. This PKM is carried out to train and assist teachers in using technology-based learning applications, namely Google Classroom, Google Form, Google Meet, and Zoom. The choice of LMS types such as Google Classroom, Google Form, Google Meet, and Zoom are considered easy to use by teachers and by students. Google classroom by integrating various features used, namely google form (to provide questions/practices during the learning process), google meet (for face-to-face learning online), google drive, google doc., and so on. This PKM is carried out for teachers in the Reje catfish Nimbong KKG cluster in Cibal sub-district. KKG (Teacher Working Group) as a forum for teachers to develop their professionalism through training, seminars, sharing, about new learning information, the use of updated learning media and learning evaluation and assessment techniques. Based on this consideration, this digital from home training was conducted at the Reje Lele Nimbong KKG, Cibal District.

Abstract

Problem Based Learning (PBL) is a student-oriented approach. PBL is a student-centered approach that can answer 21t century educational challenges. This research approach applies the PBL approach assisted by Mobile Augmented Reality (MAR) as a technology-based media that combines the virtual world with the real world to science process skills and achievement. The purpose of the study was to investigate the effect of the PBL approach assisted with MAR on the learning process skills and outcomes of the students at the Primary Education Teacher Program of Universitas Katolik Indonesia (UNIKA) St. Paulus Ruteng. The research design used was a pretest/posttest control group design with a one-way MANOVA statistical test. Based on the results of hypothesis testing (F test) shows that 1) there is a significant difference in the science process skills of students who take learning with the MAR-assisted PBL model and students who take conventional learning; 2) there is a significant difference in the learning outcomes of students who take learning with the PBL model assisted by MAR and students who take conventional learning; 3) there is a significant difference in the skill process and science learning outcomes of students who take learning with the MAR-assisted PBL model and students who take conventional learning.

Abstract

Kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi di era globalisasi yang kini telah menuju era revolusi industri 4.0, membawa pengaruh perubahan yang luar biasa terhadap pola kehidupan umat manusia di seluruh dunia. Perkembangan teknologi yang terjadi sangat pesat dan terus menerus mampu mengurangi, mempengaruhi, bahkan menghilangkan peranan manusia. Perubahan-perubahan ini terjadi sangat cepat dan semakin hari semakin bertambah seiring dengan berjalannya waktu. Kondisi ini mengubah cara hidup manusia dan menuntut keterampilan-keterampilan baru yang sanggup menyelesaikan permasalahan sebagai akibat dari perubahan yang sangat cepat dan pesat. Bidang pendidikan menghadapi tantangan yang besar terhadap perubahan ini karena harus memformulasikan kembali tujuan-tujuan pembelajaran di sekolah. Oleh karena itu, pendidikan memegang peranan yang sangat penting dan strategis sebagai salah satu wahana menciptakan kualitas sumber daya manusia yang unggul pada era revolusi indsutri 4.0 sekarang.

Abstract

This study aims to develop the effectiveness of the STEM-based PjBL (Project-Based Learning) model which incorporates Manggarai indigenous knowledge content to increase scientific literacy in elementary school students. The target population of this study were elementary school students in Langke Rembong District, Manggarai Regency. The research follows the Borg & Gall model for research and development. Data collection included administering scientific literacy tests to assess students' knowledge, attitudes, and competencies related to original science content. To assess the effectiveness of the STEM-based PjBL model, an ANOVA test was used to compare the literacy level of science students who took innovative models with students who took conventional learning. The results of hypothesis testing show that the STEM-based PjBL model has proven effective in increasing scientific literacy in various dimensions, including students' content knowledge, contextual understanding, attitudes towards science, and competency in applying scientific concepts. Notably, after implementing the product trials, significant differences in scientific literacy were observed between students who were exposed to STEM-based PjBL-based models and those who followed conventional teaching methods. These findings underscore the potential of the STEM-based PjBL approach, combined with native Manggarai science content, as an effective means of increasing science literacy among elementary school students.

Abstract

Abstrak: Budidaya tanaman dengan teknologi hidroponik merupakan kegiatan yang penting dan relevan untuk siswa SMA. Hal ini tidak terbatas pada peningkatan pengetahuan praktis tentang pertanian modern tetapi juga mempromosikan prinsip-prinsip keberlanjutan, kreativitas, dan nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam pendidikan dalam konteks kurikulum merdeka. Aspek utama dari profil ini adalah pengembangan sikap berpikir kritis, kreatif, kerja sama dan lainnya. Akan tetapi dalam mewujudkan hal ini, perlu kegiatan atau proyek nyata di sekolah yang dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan motivasi serta kesadaran siswa. Oleh karena itu kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa tentang budidaya system hidroponik, memberikan pemahaman tentang penggunaan alat dan bahan serta pemberian nutrisi bagi tanaman dalam system ini. Metode kegiatan terbagi atas tiga tahapan yaitu sosialisasi, pelatihan dan praktik budidaya serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Monitoring dilakukan selama proses praktik sementara evaluasi terhadap pengetahuan siswa melalui kuesioner. Peserta kegiatan ini adalah siswa SMA St. Fransiskus Xaverius kelas XA yang berjumlah 37 orang beserta 1 orang guru kelas. Hasil kegiatan menunjukan bahwa pengetahuan siswa pasca akan penggunaan teknologi hidroponik dalam budidaya tanaman berada pada kategori sangat baik dengan persentase sebesar 96,6%. Keberhasilan siswa dalam menanam tanaman hingga usia panen (4 MST) juga menunjukan bahwa secara praktik siswa telah menguasai langkah-langkah penanaman dalam hidroponik.Abstract: Cultivating plants using hydroponic technology is an important and relevant activity for high school students. This is not limited to increasing practical knowledge about modern agriculture but also promoting the principles of sustainability, creativity and Pancasila values in education in the context of an independent curriculum. The main aspect of this profile is the development of critical, creative, cooperative and other thinking attitudes. However, to make this happen, real activities or projects are needed at school that can increase students' knowledge, motivation and awareness. Therefore, this activity aims to increase students' knowledge about hydroponic cultivation systems, provide an understanding of the use of tools and materials as well as providing nutrition for plants in this system. This activity is carried out in three forms, namely socialization, cultivation practices and monitoring and evaluation. Monitoring is carried out during the practice process while evaluating student knowledge through questionnaires. The participants in this activity were high school students of St. Francis Xaverius class XA totaling 37 people along with 1 class teacher. The results of the activity show that post-graduate students' knowledge of the use of hydroponic technology in plant cultivation is in the very good category with a percentage of 96.6%. The students' success in growing plants until harvest time (4 WAP) also shows that practically the students have mastered the steps for planting in hydroponics.

(pp. 817–822).  Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).The chayote plant (Sechium edule (Jacq.) Sw.) is a plant that is very easy to find in everyday life. Utilizing chayote essence as an alternative to tapioca flour can increase its useful value. The aimed of this research is to determine the nutritional content of chayote starch and to determine the organoleptic test for making snacks from chayote starch as an alternative to tapioca flour. This research was carried out in 2 stages, namely: 1) carrying out laboratory tests to analyze the nutritional content (carbohydrate, calorie, protein, fat and fiber content) of chayote starch flour, and 2) carrying out organoleptic tests of snacks made from chayote starch as raw material in an effort to looking for alternatives to tapioca flour. Organoleptic tests were given to 10 randomly selected panelists. The results of this research are: 1) the carbohydrate content of chayote starch is 6%, calories are 26 calories, protein is 0.6 grams, fat is 0.1%, and fiber is 2.2 grams. 2) organoleptic tests stated that on average the panelists liked snacks made from chayote starch in terms of color, aroma, taste, texture and appearance.
