Abstract

The design carried out by teachers can be done creatively and innovatively, or ideas existing in the teachers' minds can be expressed through a lesson plan. However, it must be guided by other instructional elements, such as curriculum, syllabus, and textbooks. Lesson plans vary in different subjects. Specifically, this activity will involve a service project in the form of a training on lesson plans for the Indonesian language subject. Various issues faced by respondents include teachers' uncertainty regarding the components of a lesson plan and their uncertainty about the connection between content and the appropriate teaching media or methods to be applied to that content. The implementation of the service project is carried out by providing socialization to Indonesian language teachers in grades VII, VIII, and IX at Kubung State Junior High School, using methods such as lectures, Q&A sessions, and lesson plan writing exercises. The socialization involves explaining and providing information about the role of teachers in the learning process, the instructional materials prepared by teachers, explaining the components of a lesson plan, elaborating on the Core Competencies and Basic Competencies in the Indonesian language subject, and conducting training for teachers by selecting one of the Basic Competencies in the Indonesian language subject to be designed or developed into a lesson plan. In this context, there are seven lecturers who act as speakers to present the material clearly to Indonesian language teachers.

Abstract

Good public service is the main responsibility in managing government and meeting all the needs of the community so that the services provided by government officials can be more satisfying to the community, a mindset change is needed from all government officials implementing public services as a first step in providing excellent service. because service is an activity carried out with full awareness and noble intentions to help others and provide the best to others as part of an effort to make himself and the institutions he manages become good in the eyes of the people served so as to create satisfaction.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKesalahan dalam berbahasa Indonesia ini terjadi karena kurangnya pengetahuan seseorang terhadap kaidah-kaidah berbahasa Indonesia yang meliputi: penggunaan konjungsi, struktur kata, kata baku dan tidak baku, serta makna kata. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengemukakan berbagai bentuk kesalahan dalam surat kabar online okezonenews.com edisi Agustus-September 2022. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan berbagai bentuk kesalahan yang terdapat  dalam surat kabar online okezonenews.com edisi Agustus-September 2022, seperti: ambiguitas makna, redundansi, dan kerancuan makna. Kajian teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini di antaranya: (1) Analisis kesalahan berbahasa, (2) Penggunaan kata (diksi), (3) Semantik, dan (4) Surat kabar online. Jenis penelitian ini berupa kualitatif serta menggunakan metode deskriptif. Data yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah kesalahan berbahasa dalam pemakaian kata, keambiguitasan makna, redundansi, dan kerancuan makna. Sedangkan sumber datanya adalah surat kabar online okezonenews.com edisi Agustus-September 2022. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini antara lain: (a) mencari surat kabar online dengan situs okezonnews.com edisi Agustus-September 2022, (b) melakukan foto layar pada surat kabar online yang terdapat kesalahan bahasa dalam kajian semantik, dan (c) mencatat hasil foto layar secara keseluruhan. Dari hasil penelitian terdapat beberapa kesalahan yang akan disebutkan dalam penelitian ini yaitu: (1) Ambiguitas makna yang terdapat dalam surat kabar online okezonenews.com edisi Agustus-September 2022 sebanyak 15 data (data 1.a, 2.a, 3.a, 4.a, 5.a, 6.a, 7.a, 8.a, 9.a, 10.a, 11.a, 12.a, 13.a, 14.a, dan 15.a.  (2) Redundansi sebanyak 8 data (data 1.b, 2.b, 3.b., 4.b, 5.b, 6.b, 7.b, 8.b), dan  (3) Kerancuan Makna sebanyak 17 data (1.c, 2.c, 3.c., 4.c, 5.c, 6.c, 7.c, 8.c, 9.c, 10.c, 11.c, 12.c, 13.c, 14.c,  15.c, 16.c, dan 17.c). Jadi, Jumlah keseluruhan data yang didapatkan pada surat kabar online okezonenews.com edisi Agustus-September 2022 sebanyak 40 data.

Abstract

Pragmatics is the study of language usage in relation to its context. In buying and selling interactions, sellers and buyers use spoken language to facilitate the transaction process. Regarding this, the market is the location where sellers and buyers interact to carry out buying and selling transactions. In everyday life, implicatures are used not because one does not want to cooperate in a conversation, but there are more prioritized reasons that cannot comply with all the maxims studied in pragmatics. Sumani Market was chosen as the research site, which is located in the X Koto Singkarak District, Solok Regency. Sumani Market is one of the largest traditional markets in Koto Singkarak and serves as a major trading center. The type and research method used in this study are qualitative research with a descriptive method. Abstract

The Indonesian Language Spelling Guide (Pedoman Umum Ejaan Bahasa Indonesia, or PUEBI) is the official guideline for correct spelling in the Indonesian language. A banner is a medium used to convey specific information aimed at the general public. A billboard is a promotional medium used to announce events or activities related to the broader community. Printing plays a crucial role in ensuring that banners and billboards are free from spelling or grammatical errors. If spelling is incorrect, such errors can create a negative perception of both the client and the printing company, potentially damaging the professional image of both parties. This community engagement activity was carried out by providing training to employees of Roza 6 Suku printing company in Solok City. The training used lectures, Q&A, discussions, and practical exercises on punctuation in title writing on banners and billboards. Overall, participants were receptive to the material presented by the trainer, which offered an alternative solution to improve their knowledge and skills in spelling Indonesian correctly, with a focus on proper punctuation in banner and billboard writing. The application of PUEBI in printing also raises awareness of the importance of language quality in visual communication, demonstrating the social responsibility of the printing company to preserve language integrity.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the illocutionary speech acts in the learning process of teachers and students from Grade III Arafah at Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SDIT) Dambaan Ummat. The data sources are teachers and students’ conversations. The theory used is speech acts and illocutionary speech acts. Speech acts are part of the study of pragmatics. Pragmatics is a branch of linguistics that studies how context influences meaning in communication. Speech acts serve psychological and social functions beyond the discourse; they are actions conveyed through speech. Illocutionary acts include representative, directive, expressive, commissive, and declarative speech acts. Data collection method includes observation with video recording, interviews, documentation and transcription techniques. Technique of data analysis is noting and identifying the spontaneous utterances through video recording. The research results found 131 data: 24 instances of representative illocutionary acts, 66 instances of directive illocutionary acts, 20 instances of expressive illocutionary acts, 15 instances of commissive illocutionary acts, and six instances of declarative illocutionary acts.

Abstract

Kesalahan berbahasa Indonesia merupakan tindakan atau kegiatan berbahasa berupa pemakaian bahasa yang kurang benar dan menyimpang dari kaidah-kaidah yang terdapat dalam bahasa Indonesia. Hal ini disebabkan karena kurangnya wawasan masyarakat tentang kaidah penggunaan bahasa yang baik dan benar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan berbagai bentuk kesalahan yang terdapat  dalam caption dan komentar pada media sosial Instagram edisi Oktober-Desember 2023, seperti: redudansi, keambiguitasan makna, dan kerancuan makna. Kajian teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini di antaranya: (1) Analisis kesalahan berbahasa, (2) Semantik, (3) Media Sosial, dan (4) Instagram. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Data yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah kesalahan dalam pemakaian kata berupa redundansi, keambiguitasan makna, dan kerancuan makna. Sedangkan sumber datanya adalah media sosial Instagram. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yakni: (1) peneliti mengakses caption dan komentar dalam media sosial Instagram, (2) melakukan foto layar pada media sosial Instagram yang terdapat kesalahan bahasa dalam kajian semantik, dan (3) mencatat hasil foto layar secara keseluruhan. Ada beberapa data yang ditemukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu: (a) Redudansi terdapat 6 data (1.a, 2.a, 3.a, 4.a, 5.a, 6.a), (b) Keambiguitasan Makna terdapat 17 data (1.b, 2.b, 3.b, 4.b, 5.b, 6.b, 7.b, 8.b, 9.b, 10.b, 11.b, 12.b, 13.b, 14.b, 15.b, 16.b, 17.b), dan (c) Kerancuan Makna terdapat 13 data (1.c, 2.c, 3.c, 4.c, 5.c, 6.c, 7.c, 8.c, 9.c, 10.c, 11.c, 12.c, 13.c). Jumlah keseluruhan data dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 36 data.

Abstract

Psikolinguistik menguraikan proses-proses psikologis yang terjadi apabila seseorang menghasilkan kalimat dan memahami kalimat yang didengarnya waktu berkomunikasi dan bagaimana kemampuan berbahasa itu diperoleh oleh manusia. Pemerolehan bahasa kajian morfologi salah satu proses pembelajaran dan penggunaan morfem-morfem bahasa oleh anak-anak dalam perkembangan bahasa. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengemukakan pemerolehan bahasa anak usia 4 tahun kajian morfologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemerolehan bahasa anak usia 4 tahun dari proses afiksasi, reduplikasi, morfem, dan alomorf. Kajian teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini di antaranya: (1) psikolinguistik, (2) pemerolehan bahasa, dan (3) definisi kajian morfologi. Penelitian ini berupa data berbentuk kata dan kalimat. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi serta melakukan video rekaman. Subjek pada penelitian yakni anak usia 4 tahun bernama G.A yang bertempat tinggal di Kelurahan Kampung Jawa, Kecamatan Tanjung Harapan, Kota Solok. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif yaitu penelitian yang berwujud kata-kata atau kalimat yang mengandung afiksasi, reduplikasi, morfem, dan alomorf. Dari hasil penelitian terdapat beberapa temuan penelitian yaitu: (1) proses afiksasi yang terdiri dari prefiks (10 data), infiks (1 data), sufiks (6 data), dan konfiks (4 data). Keseluruhan proses afiks ditemukan sebanyak 21 data, (2) reduplikasi ditemukan sebanyak 6 data, serta (3) morfem dan alomorf ditemukan sebanyak 9 data. Jadi, jumlah keseluruhan terdiri dari 36 data.

Abstract

The Environmental Care Community (MPL) in Nagari Selayo, Kubung District, Solok Regency, is committed to realizing excellent service to the community through communication speech acts in serving the community. In this effort, the Environmental Care Community (MPL) educates the community about the importance of providing services to the community using good communication speech acts in dealing or carrying out activities. In communicating, the community needs to use three magic words, namely apologizing, asking for help, and saying thank you in carrying out activities at this institution. With a collaborative approach, the Environmental Care Community (MPL) also holds seminars and workshops that aim to increase public awareness when dealing or carrying out activities at this institution. Through this activity, it is hoped that the community and the Environmental Care Community (MPL) institution can understand the responsibility in maintaining good and correct speech or communication so that serving or dealing runs smoothly.

Abstract

The background of this research is motivated by the existence of moral values ??that are very useful for readers. Little Letter to God, famous for the real life story of a teenage girl who suffered from soft tissue cancer for the first time in Indonesia. This is the background to the research problem which contains moral values, namely the relationship between humans and themselves, the relationship between humans and other humans, the relationship between humans and nature and the relationship between humans and God. The aim of this research is to describe the analysis of moral values ??in the novel Little Letters to God by Agnes Davona. This type of research is qualitative with descriptive methods. Data collection can be done using the following steps: (1) Reading the novel repeatedly to understand the content of the novel to be studied. (2) Code and underline quotes contained in the novel Little Letters for God by Agnes Davonar that contain moral values. (3) Record the data that has been coded in the Novel Little Letters for God by Agnes Davonar. Data analysis is: (1) Read again all the data that has been collected. (2) Classify the data containing Moral Values ??in the novel Surat Kecil untuk God by Agnes Davonar based on the table format in the research instrument. (3) Draw conclusions from data analysis. (4) Write a complete report. The amount of data found was 146 data, so in the novel Small Letters for God by Agnes Davonar, many moral values ??were found, namely the relationship between humans and themselves.
