Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran, hambatan, dan dampak media media sosial TikTok terhadap perilaku serta. dampak negatif dan juga positif yang mana pada saat ini media sosial TikTok sangat disukai oleh para remaja terutama para remaja di SMP Amal Luhur Medan yang setiap harinya menggunakan media sosial TikTok. Untuk mendapatkan data penelitian yang lengkap, penulis melakukan dengan cara melakukan observasi langsung dan wawancara langsung dengan informasi penelitian. Dengan demikian, bentuk penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Amal Luhur Medan bulan Maret 2023. Penelitian ini memiliki 7 informan, terdiri dari siswa dan siswi dari kelas VII, serta 2 guru sebagai key informan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media sosial TikTok sangat memengaruhi perilaku remaja. Hal tersebut disebabkan oleh tontonan yang mereka lihat pada media sosial TikTok. Tontonan tersebut dapat memberikan respon atau rangsangan ke otak yang akan membuat penggunanya secara sadar ataupun tidak melakukan hal yang sama seperti pada media sosial TikTok tersebut. Itulah yang dapat mempengaruhi atau mengubah perilaku remaja. Selain itu, perunahan perilaku tersebut memiliki efek positif dan negatif yang mempengaruhi kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Students' interest in learning English is still low, which means students' English language skills are also low. This is because during the learning process in the classroom, teachers do not use learning media such as educational tools. Educational tools are very important if applied in learning. This is because educational tools can increase students' learning motivation so that learning is more meaningful, innovative and creative. Therefore, the service team carries out service activities regarding the use of educational tools in classroom learning. This service activity aims to increase students' interest in learning and also students' English language skills. This service activity was carried out at MIS Nurul Hidayah Medan. Participants in this activity were class V students consisting of 30 students. This activity will be carried out on September 6 2023. This activity will be carried out in 3 stages. The first stage is to give a pretest to students before carrying out implementation activities using picture card educational tools (flash cards). The second stage is implementing the use of flash cards in English lessons. The third stage is giving a posttest to students after carrying out implementation activities using picture card educational tools (flash cards). The results of this activity were that the student response was very good and students were more interested in learning using the flash card educational tool and there was an increase in student ability obtained from the N-Gain score which was in the medium category. So it can be concluded that the flash card educational tool can improve students' English language skills.

Abstract

Social media has now become a platform for individuals to communicate with each other around the world, exchange ideas and voice their opinions on various topics. Propaganda illustrates the consequences of social media after World War I. Propaganda combined with social media would have a tremendous effect. Social media has had a significant impact on the way the public and netizens view the weaknesses of current government initiatives. This research aims to gain a deeper understanding of social phenomena by using qualitative methodology to understand them holistically. The influence of social media on Indonesian politics is the main topic of this research.

Abstract

Library management training is very important, especially in villages that can be said to be partially undeveloped. This village library aims to make the community, especially children, young people and adults, aware of the importance of literacy, as well as to educate the community. Not only limited to information and sources of knowledge for the community, this village library will also become an Islamic-based information center, where the community will learn a lot about Islamic teachings in this library. The problem that often arises in this case is that there are still people who cannot read and write, so it becomes difficult for the village to run this program then access to the library in the village is small and cannot accommodate many people. The method in this activity is training by conducting surveys, education and approaches to the community, the results obtained by the community are very enthusiastic about the activities carried out

Abstract

Adapun yang menjadi tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan pimpinan organisasi Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa Universitas Dharmawangsa dalam mengkomunikasikan implementasi kebijakan pada institusi afiliasinya. Adapun Metode penelitian yang digunakan merupakan  kualitatif, Dengan kata lain merupakan suatu metode penelitian yang bertujuan untuk memahami dan menemukan fenomena-fenomena yang terjadi pada suatu objek guna memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih mendalam terhadap objek tersebut. Penelitian ini berfokus pada 6 (enam) narasumber dari beberapa fakultas Universitas Dharmawangsa yang meliput Stambuk 2019 - 2022.Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara dan teknik pencatatan. Teknik wawancara yang digunakan adalah wawancara bebas terpimpin, yaitu wawancara yang dilakukan dengan mengajukan pertanyaan secara bebas dengan tetap menghormati pedoman wawancara yang telah dibuat. Teknik observasi merupakan teknik pengumpulan data yang mempunyai keistimewaan dibandingkan dengan teknik lainnya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi yang baik dapat meningkatkan pemahaman sehingga tersampaikannya informasi mengenai kegiatan dan kebijakan dalam organisasi sehingga dapat dijalankani dengan baik. pada organisasi, pemimpin adalah penyampai pesan. Pemimpin yang memilki intelektualitas cenderung memiliki keterampilan komunikasi yang efektif, yang memungkinkan mereka memotivasi bawahan menuju tujuan yang diinginkan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the marketing strategy for people's interest in buying in the Medan Denai area for this Baba Parfum product. The data collection technique chosen to process the data is qualitative, which is given a form and made to be selected as a sample of 25 respondents. The data collection method is in the form of a questionnaire. Baba Parfum, a local perfume brand that adopts a management system that involves a team network in their product sales efforts. This network system has proven effective in increasing sales of Baba Parfum products. Marketing strategy by mastering social media to see the products marketed as many as 93.5% of consumers are satisfied with the digital marketing of Baba Parfum and its marketing strategy. Consumers also use payment technology such as e-money through Gopay Ovo, and funds can be seen that consumers know the product in the era of digital marketing and sales that are developing well. Therefore, the development of Baba Parfum products in the current era has a great influence on the company's profitability so that the selling price is quite good and is able to attract consumers.

Abstract

The Effect of Adding Natural Ingredients to Artificial Feed on the Color Brightness Level of Goldfish (Cyprinus carpio Linn). This research aims to determine the effect of adding natural ingredients to artificial feed on the level of color brightness of goldfish (Cyprinus carpio Linn), and the growth rate and survival rate of the test fish. The method used in this research is an experimental method using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 3 replications with a feeding frequency of three times per day with a percentage of 5% of the body weight of the test fish, a natural ingredient used in making artificial feed. These are pumpkin flour (Cucurbita moschata), mangosteen rind flour (Garcinia mangostana L), and carrot flour (Daucus carota L) with the same dose in each treatment, namely 25% of 1 kg of feed. Based on the results of variance analysis, the brightness level of goldfish color has a very real influence. The highest increase in the color of the test fish was obtained in treatment A, pumpkin flour, amounting to (1.37) on the Toca color finder scale (from pale orange to dark orange), followed by the second highest in treatment C, carrot flour, amounting to (1.2), treatment B flour. Mangosteen peel was in third position with an increase in color of (0.94) and the lowest increase in color change occurred in treatment D (control = without the addition of natural ingredients) of 0.7. However, absolute weight and length growth did not have a real influence. The overall graduation rate is 87.49%. The average water quality parameters are temperature 26-29oC, pH 7.5-7.9 and ammonia 0.25 ppm.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis model komunikasi pimpinan organisasi Himikom dalam merangkul pemikiran setiap anggotanya, kondisi objektif motivasi kepada anggota, serta apa saja faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat pada model komunikasi pimpinan dalam mewujudkan visi dan misi organisasi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah naturalistik dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Ketua Himikom dan Anggotanya di Kampus Universitas Dharmawangsa Fakultas Sospol Prodi Ilmu Komunikasi. Objek penelitian ini adalah Model komunikasi Ketua dan Anggota dalam mewujudkan visi dan misi Himpunan Mahasiswa Ilmu Komunikasi. Hasil analisis dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, model komunikasi Ketua Organisasi Himpunan Mahasiswa Ilmu Komunikasi dalam menjalankan roda organiasi yaitu: model komunikasi Linear yaitu model komunikasi searah yaitu komunikasi yang hanya dari satu pihak saja, sedangkan ke pihak yang lain hanya penerima. Model ini pada hakikatnya adalah model komunikasi searah, berdasarkan anggapan bahwa pimpnan organisasi memiliki pengaruh langsung, segera, dan sangat menetukan terhadap jalannya organisasi. Model komunikasi tersebut telah menemui beberapa hambatan seperti: kurangnya respon anggota akan kebijakan yang di buat pimpinan, kurangnya tanggungjawab setiap anggota dalam setiap kegiatan organisasi, kurangnya minat anggota untuk selalu aktif di organisasi, dan akan terhambatnya segala program kerja yang telah di rancang karena tertutup dengan saran dan kritik dari anggota.

Abstract

This community service activity was motivated by the increasing number of bullying cases in schools, which negatively impacts students' psychological development and academic achievement. Bullying not only causes physical injuries but also long-term mental trauma. Therefore, a comprehensive approach is needed, one of which is through anti-bullying education based on Islamic values. The goal of this activity is to educate students of MAPN 4 Medan about the dangers of bullying and to foster awareness and mutual respect through an Islamic approach that emphasizes compassion, brotherhood, and justice. Implementation methods include interactive lectures, group discussions, educational video screenings, and role-plays of bullying cases. The results of the activity indicate an increase in students' understanding of the forms of bullying and their impacts, as well as a commitment from students to create a safe, peaceful school environment based on Islamic values. This activity is expected to be the first step in building a school culture free from violence and strengthening students' character within the framework of Islamic teachings.

Abstract

Parents play a very important role in the process of child personality development. The role of parents is to be aware of the child's condition and focus on understanding good examples of his character. Especially with the current rise in bullying cases, the role of parents is very important in shaping children's character so that they do not become victims or perpetrators. The reason for carrying out this investigation is the prevalence of bullying among minors, which is a serious problem and requires follow-up action. The aim of this research is to clarify the role of parents in developing children's character in responding to bullying. The method used in this research is qualitative method. Research shows that parents have a very important role in the development of a child's personality. Because, the first people who model their behavior are their parents. Parents can instill character in their children by setting an example, doing good deeds, communicating, and involving children in activities at home. Therefore, the character that parents instill in their children from an early age will make them more confident, strong and able to appear assertive in their environment. To combat bullying, parents must educate and strengthen their children to be fearless and self-confident, empowering them to choose friends at social gatherings and even to protect themselves and even seek revenge.
