Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to analyze the quality of the items on the human reproductive system taken from The Wordwall Game Quiz program in terms of validity, reliability, level of difficulty, discriminating power, and effectiveness of the distractor. This research uses quantitative approach and the type is descriptive research. The population is all answer sheets belonging to class XI IPA. The samples were 3 types of human reproductive system questions taken from The Wordwall Game Quiz program and 100 student answer sheets. The variable is an analysis of the quality of the items on the human reproductive system in The Wordwall Game Quiz program. Data collection techniques using tests, interviews, and documentation. Quantitative analysis using the Anates 4.0.9 application and Microsoft Excel 2019. The results showed that the three types of questions had high content and construct validity. In terms of statistical validity, it has sufficient validity. The reliability is in the high category. From the level of difficulty, dominated by questions in the easy category. From the aspect of discriminating power, the item has a fairly good discriminating power and from the aspect of the effectiveness of the distractor, it has the effectiveness of the detractor which is not good. Keywords: Test Quality, Human Reproductive, Wordwall ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kualitas butir soal sistem reproduksi manusia yang diambil dari program Wordwall Game Quiz ditinjau dari aspek validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, daya pembeda, dan efektivitas pengecoh. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif (descriptive research). Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh lembar jawaban soal milik kelas XI IPA. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 3 tipe soal sistem reproduksi manusia yang diambil dari program Wordwall Game Quiz dan lembar jawaban siswa sebanyak 100 lembar. Variabel dalam penelitian ini merupakan analisis kualitas butir soal sistem reproduksi manusia pada program Wordwall Game Quiz. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan test, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis secara kuantitatif ini dilakukan dengan bantuan aplikasi Anates 4.0.9 dan Microsoft Excel 2019. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketiga tipe soal memiliki validitas isi dan konstruk tinggi. Adapun dari segi validitas statistik, ketiga tipe soal memiliki validitas cukup. Reliabilitas ketiga tipe soal berkategori tinggi. Dari tingkat kesulitan, ketiga tipe soal didominasi oleh soal dengan kategori mudah. Sedangkan, dari aspek daya pembeda, soal sistem reproduksi manusia dari Wordwall Game Quiz memiliki daya pembeda yang cukup baik dan dari segi efektivitas pengecohnya, ketiga soal memiliki efektivitas pengecoh yang kurang baik. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pendekatan inkuiri dalam pembelajaran Biologi di era Revolusi Industri 4.0, dengan fokus pada peningkatan literasi sains, kemampuan berpikir kritis, dan keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode kajian literatur digunakan untuk mengumpulkan dan menganalisis data dari berbagai sumber sekunder, seperti jurnal ilmiah, artikel akademik, dan laporan penelitian. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan inkuiri, terutama ketika didukung oleh teknologi digital seperti simulasi dan platform interaktif, mampu meningkatkan pemahaman konsep hingga 40% serta memperkuat keterampilan berpikir kritis dan literasi sains. Teknologi digital berperan sebagai katalisator yang efektif dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri, memungkinkan siswa melakukan eksperimen virtual dan mengakses sumber belajar yang lebih beragam. Namun, penerapan pendekatan ini menghadapi tantangan, termasuk keterbatasan infrastruktur, kompetensi guru, dan kendala kurikulum. Untuk mengoptimalkan implementasinya, diperlukan dukungan institusional yang kuat, pelatihan guru berkelanjutan, dan integrasi teknologi dalam kurikulum. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting bagi pengembangan teori pembelajaran aktif berbasis inkuiri dan praktik pendidikan Biologi yang relevan dengan kebutuhan abad ke-21

Abstract

The implementation of diagnostic assessments in the Independent Curriculum is a crucial step in mapping students' initial abilities and designing appropriate learning strategies. This study aims to identify obstacles to the implementation of diagnostic assessments in deep learning-based biology learning in public senior high schools in Bandar Lampung City, encompassing the planning, implementation, and follow-up stages. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with a purposive sampling technique. The sample consisted of three public senior high schools, four biology teachers, and 69 tenth-grade students studying Biodiversity. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, questionnaires, and documentation. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the implementation of diagnostic assessments was not optimal. Only two schools had implemented cognitive and non-cognitive diagnostic assessments, while one school had not implemented them at all. The main obstacles lay in limited school facilities and the low level of socialization regarding the Independent Curriculum, particularly the implementation of diagnostic assessments in innovative, deep learning-oriented biology learning. However, limited understanding and institutional support remained a significant obstacle. This study recommends improving teacher training, providing supporting facilities, and implementing more systematic assessment follow-up policies

Abstract

Biology learning is often dominated by a theoretical approach because many theories cause students to feel bored and less interested. The research aims to determine the learning interest of MA Mazro’atul Huda Karanganyar Demak students towards learning biology using practical methods of cell membrane transport material. This type of research uses quantitative descriptive methods. The research subjects were 26 students of class XI MIPA. The data collection technique uses an instrument in the form of a questionnaire which aims to obtain information regarding students’ learning interests. The research data were analyzed by calculating student questionnaire scores, then converted into percentages and interpreted into categories of very good, good, poor, and not good. The research results showed that 74% of students had a fairly good interest in learning while following the biology learning process using the practicum method. The indicator of learning interest with the highest average value is student involvement in biology subjects, namely 81% with a very good category because students are directly involved in the practicum process to work together in organizing, communicating, and interpreting practicum results. The implication is that in biology learning, specifically cell membrane transport material, teachers should use practical methods because it can foster students’ interest in learning.

Abstract

The research aimed to analyse the effect of Problem Based Learning model with Socioscientific Issue on science literacy and scientific attitude of high school students. This research was conducted in public high school in Kalianda. The research design used was Quasi-Experiment with Pretest- Posttest Control Group method. Cluster Random Sampling technique was used to get the sample of Class XI. The sample consisted of Class XI.10 totalling 35 students as the control class while Class XI. 5 class totalling 36 students as the experimental class. The type of data is quantitative. Tests and questionnaires were used to collect data. Based on the Pretest-Posttest results, the experimental class met the ‘High’ category with an N-gain score of 0.804, while the control class met the ‘Medium’ category with an N-Gain score of 0.650. Independent sample t-test was used to test the hypothesis, with a Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.000 <0.05. The conclusion of this study is that science literacy and scientific attitudes of high school students are influenced by the Problem Based Learning model with Socioscientific Issue.
