Abstract

Demam tifoid merupakan penyakit endemik dengan angka kejadian yang masih tinggi di Indonesia. Penyakit ini umumnya diobati menggunakan antibiotik, namun tingginya angka resistensi antibiotik menjadi tantangan besar dalam terapi. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pengobatan demam tifoid dengan berbagai jenis terapi antibiotik, baik tunggal maupun kombinasi, sehingga dapat ditentukan pilihan terapi yang lebih efektif dari segi biaya dan hasil klinis. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis Cost-Effectiveness Analysis (CEA) dengan rancangan retrospektif melalui pengambilan data rekam medik pasien demam tifoid di RS Kabupaten Cibinong pada periode Januari–Desember 2024. Jumlah sampel yang dianalisis sebanyak 28 pasien.  Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada kelompok terapi tunggal, cefixime memiliki efektivitas 66,66% dan ceftriaxon juga sebesar 66,66%. Sementara itu, pada kelompok kombinasi ceftriaxon dan cefixime, efektivitas mencapai 100%. Dari segi biaya, nilai Average Cost-Effectiveness Ratio (ACER) menunjukkan bahwa terapi tunggal dengan ceftriaxon memiliki biaya Rp70.827, sedangkan cefixime Rp79.563. Kombinasi ceftriaxon dan cefixime justru lebih efisien dengan nilai Rp45.998. Analisis Incremental Cost-Effectiveness Ratio (ICER) menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan cefixime sebagai pengganti ceftriaxon membutuhkan biaya tambahan Rp582.307 untuk menurunkan suhu tubuh dan leukosit. Kesimpulannya, kombinasi ceftriaxon dan cefixime memberikan efektivitas terbaik dengan biaya yang lebih efisien dibanding terapi tunggal, sehingga dapat dipertimbangkan sebagai pilihan utama dalam pengobatan demam tifoid.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) remains a major public health problem in Indonesia, including Bekasi Regency, which has a high disease burden. A decline in quality of life is commonly experienced by TB patients due to clinical symptoms, social stigma, and adverse drug effects. Although patient knowledge and treatment adherence are widely believed to influence therapeutic outcomes, evidence regarding their impact on quality of life remains inconsistent and limited, particularly in the Cikarang region. This study aimed to examine the relationship between knowledge level and treatment adherence with the quality of life of pulmonary tuberculosis patients at Puskesmas Cikarang Utara. A cross-sectional design was employed involving 93 outpatient pulmonary TB patients who met the inclusion criteria, including age 17–65 years, undergoing category I/II therapy, able to communicate, and willing to participate, as well as exclusion criteria of having significant comorbid conditions. Participants were selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected using a structured knowledge questionnaire, the Morisky Medication Adherence Scale (MMAS-8), and the Short Form-36 (SF-36). Statistical analysis was performed using the Chi-Square test. The majority of respondents demonstrated good knowledge (86%), moderate to high treatment adherence (86%), and a high quality of life (55.9%). Chi-Square analysis indicated no significant association between knowledge level and quality of life (p = 0.468), nor between treatment adherence and quality of life (p = 0.962). These findings suggest that knowledge and adherence alone are insufficient determinants of quality of life among pulmonary TB patients. Therefore, improving patients’ quality of life requires comprehensive interventions. Beyond treatment adherence.

Abstract

Music lyrics frequently convey social meaning and emotional depth. The emotional sentiments in Coldplay's song "Fix You" are powerful and offer hope, empathy, and encouragement. This study uses Halliday's Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL) framework to investigate the interpersonal meaning in the lyrics of "Fix You," paying special attention to the mood and residue structures. The study interprets how linguistic choices convey relationships between the songwriter and listeners using a qualitative descriptive method in conjunction with content analysis. The results reveal that the majority of the phrases in "Fix You" employ declarative moods, suggesting that the singer wants to reassure and enlighten rather than tell or challenge. This is in keeping with the song's prevailing tone of empathy and support. To sum up, the interpersonal significance in “Fix You” represents emotional connection and reassurance, showing how linguistic choices contribute to the song’s comforting and motivational message. Abstract

The aim of this study is to find out how the assessment of financial performance of Unggul Indah Cahaya, Tbk when using the economic value added method. The research method used is descriptive research by analyzing financial statements in the form of balance sheets and incone statements of PT Unggul Indah Cahaya, Tbk, which are listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion conducted, the result of the value of EVA is fluctuating, whereas 2013, 2014, and 2015 EVA are positive, otherwise at 2016 and 2017 EVA is negative. Theoretically, this research is useful as a contribution of thought for economics, especially financial accounting in the trade industry and chemicals. And is expected to be used as input material, infomation and consideration for the chemical and trade industry in decision making, besides, the results of this study are to expected abauot economic value added to investors and potential investors who will in the PT Unggul Indah Cahaya, Tbk.
