Abstract

This research discusses the performance analysis of supervisory consultants in road construction projects in West Sumatra Province. The objectives to be achieved with this research are to identify factors that influence the performance of supervisory consultants on road construction projects in West Sumatra province, to analyze the dominant factors that influence the performance of supervisory consultants on road construction projects in West Sumatra province, and to obtain solutions. to improve the performance of supervisory consultants on road construction projects in West Sumatra province. In this research the author used a combined research method, namely by distributing questionnaires to respondents and conducting interviews with experts. The selected respondents were owners, namely the Department of Highways, Human Settlements and Spatial Planning of West Sumatra Province, consultants and contractors involved in Periodic Road Maintenance work activities in West Sumatra Province in the 2018 to 2023 Fiscal Year. The research results showed that there were 10 factors that influenced performance supervising consultants for a road construction project in West Sumatra Province and the dominant factors influencing it.

Abstract

Pandemi covid 19 yang teridentifkasi pertama kali di China pada bulan Desember 2019 telah mempengaruhi seluruh aspek kehidupan di dunia, termasuk di Indonesia. Pemerintah telah mengeluarkan berbagai kebijakan dalam mengahadapi pandemi ini agar dapat terkendali. Salah satu kebijakan yang telah diambil adalah recofusing anggaran untuk penanganan pandemi covid 19. Pada sektor industri konstruksi kebikjakan ini sangat memberikan dampak yang sangat sisgnifikan terhadap sektor konstruksi di Indonesia terutama terhadap perusahaan konstruksi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melihat dampak pandemi covid 19 terhadap perusahaan konstruksi di Kabupaten Bungo. Metode kualitatif deskriptif digunakan untuk mencari dampak pandemi dengan metode wawancara kepada 5 (lima) perusahaan konstruksi dengan skala besar, mentode kuantitatif untuk mendapatkan dampak yang paling dominan dengan mencari nilai RII, dan metode SWOT untuk mencari strategi dalam menghadapi pandemi covid 19. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan ada 15 (limabelas) dampak pandemi covis 19 terhadap perusahaan konstruksi, yaitu : mengambil pekerja setempat, kekhawatiran tertular covid dari pekerja, adanya phk tenaga kerja, terganggu pengiriman material, tunda bayar dari owner, gaji karyawan tertunda, adanya pengurangan tenaga kerja (dirumahkan), penerapan protokol kesehatan, tertular penyakit covid 19, pengurangan gaji karyawan, perubahan harga material, tertundanya jadwal lelang, wfh, berkurangnya paket kegiatan. Dampak yang paling dominan adalah berkurangnya paket kegiatan dengan nilai RII 0,81, pengurangan tenaga kerja (dirumahkan) dengan nilai RII 0,78, Penerapan protokol kesehatan dengan nilai RII 0,75. Ada beberapa strategi yang dapat diterapkan pada penyelengaraan Proyek Konstruksi selama pandemic dan pasca pandemic, antara lain perusahaan jangan bergantung kepada proyek dari pemerintah, penguatan SMK3, serta pemanfaatan teknologi informasi.

Abstract

Proyek Pembangunan Jalan Tol Ruas Pekanbaru-Padang Seksi Sicincin-Lubuk Alung-Padang menghadapi berbagai kendala yang menghambat kelancaran pembangunan, sebagaimana teridentifikasi melalui tinjauan lapangan, wawancara dengan pelaksana proyek, dan informasi dari masyarakat sekitar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis risiko pada proyek pembangunan Jalan Tol Ruas Pekanbaru–Padang, Seksi Sicincin-Lubuk Alung-Padang menggunakan metode survei kuesioner kepada 95 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tujuh kelompok risiko utama dengan 12 indikator risiko tertinggi dengan nilai rata-rata paling tinggi 20 (F9) yaitu sulitnya pembebasan lahan untuk pembangunan jalan tol. Temuan ini memberikan rekomendasi mitigasi risiko, seperti keterlibatan aktif pemangku adat, pemerintah, masyarakat, dan panitia pengadaan tanah melalui proses yang transparan, konsisten, serta pemberian ganti rugi yang adil. Kontraktor perlu menyusun rencana aksi yang adaptif terhadap kondisi lapangan, sementara manajemen harus memperkuat komitmen pada pelatihan kerja dan penyediaan fasilitas K3. Sinergi antar pihak dengan pendekatan hirarki pengendalian risiko diharapkan dapat mengatasi hambatan pembebasan lahan secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

In the implementation of construction projects, the application of material management shows an influence on the smoothness of project work time, therefore it is necessary to examine and describe what parts of material management have an influence and how much influence they have. Based on literature studies and interviews and the author's experience as a project actor, a study was conducted to obtain the most influential factors in accelerating the implementation time of construction projects in Padang Pariaman Regency. The study was conducted using a Likert scale questionnaire method which was distributed to project actors as respondents and after that validity, reliability and factor analysis were tested on respondents' answers using SPSS. The results of the study obtained 2 new factors related to project material management, namely the first factor of inventory and warehousing control and the second factor was the factor of selecting specifications and material scheduling. The results obtained were quite unexpected because the specification selection factor is rarely discussed and used as a consideration when discussing the project implementation time, however, with the emergence of this factor, we as project actors are aware that this specification selection factor is very important in accelerating construction work in the Padang Pariaman Regency area.

Abstract

The quality of good construction work is influenced by several factors, one of which is the workforce factor. Workers who have expertise and skills that meet standards greatly influence the quality of work. In order for workers to gain recognition for their abilities and competencies, competency certification is needed. However, in road construction work, there are still very few skilled workers who have competency certificates, especially those working on road construction work in Sungai Penuh City. This study aims to determine what obstacles and significant obstacles are faced by skilled workers in obtaining expertise certification. This study uses a qualitative method with descriptive statistical analysis. This study was conducted on road construction work in Sungai Penuh City with 30 respondents of skilled workers. The research design used was a survey and data collection through interviews, questionnaires, observations and literature studies. Obstacles in achieving skilled worker expertise certification in road construction work in Sungai Penuh City based on the results of interviews with workers are the lack of information regarding the importance of expertise certificates, limited certification institutions, quite high certification costs, difficult certification procedures, company concern for competence, no effect on wages. Significant obstacles in achieving certification of skilled labor expertise in road construction work in Sungai Penuh City based on ranking, namely the lack of information regarding the importance of expertise certificates 17.26%.

Abstract

Delays in road construction projects are one of the problems that often occur in the implementation of infrastructure development, especially in Kerinci Regency. This study aims to identify and analyze the factors causing delays in road construction projects in the region. The research method used is quantitative descriptive with a survey approach. The study population consisted of contractors, project supervisors, and related parties involved in the implementation of road projects, with samples taken purposively. The data collection instrument is in the form of a questionnaire that is compiled based on indicators of project delay factors, such as project management, human resources, equipment, weather conditions, and funding. The data obtained was analyzed using descriptive statistics to determine the frequency, percentage, and ranking of factors that contributed to project delays. The results show that project management and planning factors are the main causes of delays, followed by limited human resources and equipment, as well as unfavorable weather conditions. These findings provide a comprehensive overview of the obstacles faced in road construction projects in Kerinci Regency and can be used as a reference for related parties to design mitigation strategies to increase the effectiveness and timeliness of project implementation.

Abstract

Karet alam merupakan salah satu polimer yang ketersediaanya cukup melimpah di Indonesia dapat dimanfaatkan untuk campuran aspal sehingga tidak mudah retak dan lebih kedap air. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh karet alam sesuai substitusi aspal untuk campuran laston AC-WC terhadap karakteristik Marshall. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah pengujian Marshall, tahapan awal pengujian membuat benda uji dan didapat nilai KAO 6,25%. Tahapan selanjutnya membuat benda uji pemakaian karet alam dengan mensubtitusikan aspal pada variasi 0%, 7%, 7.5%, 8%, 8.5%, 9%. Nilai yang memenuhi karakteristik Marshall terdapat pada variasi 0%, 7%, 7.5% karet alam.

Abstract

This research was conducted on construction workers / contractors in the field of roads and bridges in the province of West Sumatra. This study aims to provide consideration for construction companies in choosing the right supplier by considering various criteria, determine the priority scale of supplier selection activities for construction actors/contractors, provide suggestions or solutions for selecting flexible pavement suppliers for construction actors in the province of West Sumatra by using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The results showed that the criteria and sub-criteria can be used as suggestions or solutions, namely supplier profiles consisting of certificates and business licenses, not blacklisted, clear company name and address, capital, company age, performance over the last 5 years and this year, total and quality of employees, and the number of clients in a year safety records consist of taking materials with eco-friendly designations, availability of training for new employees, the importance of applying OSH in the work environment, and the number of accidents in the last 5 years and delivery consisting of timely delivery, delivery distance, delivery of materials according to the order, and the type and amount of shipping transportation. With the supplier profile factor weighing 49.70% safety record factor 21.90% delivery factor 11.70% quality factor 6.80% cost factor 5.80% service factor 4.10%.
