Abstract

Hedging is an alternative of risk management that aims to protect the assets of company from losses caused by the risk. This study’s purpose is to analyze the influence of independent variables which include Liquidity, Leverage, Firm Size, and Managerial Ownership on hedging decision using derivative instruments at coal companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2021. Sample selection method used in this research is purposive sampling method with the provision of the company that publishes full financial statements in which 16 companies were included in the coal companies as sample. This research used logistic regressions analysis technique, to find sets of variables that affect the probability the use of derivative instruments as hedging activities. The results of this study found that: (1) Leverage and Firm Size variables have a positive and significant effect on hedging decisions using derivatives instruments and (2) Liquidity and Managerial Ownership have a negative and insignificant effect on hedging decisions using derivatives instruments.   Keywords: Liquidity, Leverage, Firm Size, Managerial Ownership, and Hedging

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini ialah melakukan tinjauan kebutuhan pencatatan transaksi secara digital pada Bank Sampah Solusi Hijau. Uang hasil transaksi penukaran sampah dapat langsung diambil nasabah atau dicatat dalam buku rekening yang dipersiapkan, sehingga masyarakat mendapat keuntungan ekonomi dari menabung sampah. Oleh karena itu diperlukan pencatatan transaksi menabung sampah berbasis digital untuk mencegah kekeliruan dan transparansi pencatatan transaksi menabung sampah. Metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus dilakukan dengan melakukan wawancara dan penyebaran kuesioner untuk menganalisa masalah yang terjadi dalam pencatatan transaksi menabung sampah pada Bank Sampah Solusi Hijau. Pencatatan transaksi secara digital diperlukan dengan fitur utama diantaranya: Pengecekan jumlah saldo tabungan, Fitur jemput sampah, Pendaftaran/Pembukaan Rekening anggota baru, Informasi kurs konversi sampah, Rekapitulasi pencatatan sampah dan Fitur Transfer Saldo. Penelitian ini menjadi langkah awal bagi penulis untuk mengawal pengembangan Bank Sampah menjadi sebuah Organisasi Sosial dalam hal Pengelolaan Sampah berbasis masyarakat dengan meningkatkan minat menabung sampah karena adanya pencatatan transaksi secara digital. Sehingga bank sampah dapat memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam pertumbuhan ekonomi masyarakat. Kata kunci: bank sampah, tabungan sampah, transaksi digital

Abstract

Young business groups in Indonesia face challenges in developing their enterprises, focusing on business growth and stability. One of the main obstacles they encounter is limited understanding of financial concepts and access to formal financial services. This research aims to enhance financial literacy and financial inclusion among young business groups through community service programs. The methods employed in this program include conducting financial planning literacy training focused on cash management, emergency fund management, and debt management. The program is conducted at the Youth Forum, Yayasan Panti Nugraha, South Jakarta, which partners in this initiative. The results of this community service initiative demonstrate a significant improvement in participants' understanding and readiness in managing their business finances. Participants show increased understanding in financial planning, risk management, and identifying key challenges faced by young business groups. Recommendations for further development include deepening participants' understanding in financial risk management, expanding collaboration networks with local and national financial institutions to enhance access to financial products, and conducting regular monitoring and evaluation of program implementation. These steps are expected to strengthen the financial capacity of young business groups and support sustainable business growth

Abstract

The rapid growth of MSMEs in Indonesia provides great opportunities for the national economy. However, to increase the competitiveness and sustainability of MSMEs, a deeper understanding of the factors that influence their performance is needed. This research specifically focuses on the role of financial literacy, financial inclusion and financial technology in driving MSME profit growth in Depok City. Apart from that, this research also considers gender roles as a differentiating factor. This research uses a quantitative approach by collecting data through questionnaires distributed to 100 MSMEs in Depok City who have utilized financial technology. The data obtained was then analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method. The results of the analysis show that financial literacy, financial inclusion and financial technology have a positive and significant influence on MSME profit growth. These findings indicate that increasing financial literacy, expanding access to financial services, and utilizing financial technology are strategic steps to improve the performance of MSMEs. Although gender is not proven to moderate the relationship between independent variables and profit growth, this research provides an important contribution in developing policies to support the growth of MSMEs in Indonesia. The results of this research can be a basis for governments, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to design more effective programs in increasing financial literacy, expanding financial inclusion, and encouraging the adoption of financial technology among MSMEs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Job Insecurity and Job Stress on Turnover Intention among bankemployees in the Greater Jakarta area. In the context of the Job Demand-Resources theory, job uncertainty (JobInsecurity) and job stress (Job Stress) are considered factors that can affect employees' intentions to leave thecompany. The research method used was quantitative with a survey design, where data was obtained from 56employees working at several banks in Greater Jakarta. Data processing was carried out using SmartPLS 3.0, withthe T test to test the hypothesis and bootstrapping analysis to test the significance of the relationship between thevariables. The results of the study show that both Job Insecurity and Job Stress have a significant positive influenceon Turnover Intention. This research provides important insights for companies to manage job uncertainty andemployee stress to reduce turnover intention. In the practical aspect, companies are advised to introduce policies thatcan reduce uncertainty in work and provide better psychological support for employees, to prevent an increase inturnover intention that adversely affects the organization. The impact of this study on company managers is significant,as the management of job uncertainty and stress can affect employee retention and create a more productive workenvironment. HR managers need to be more aware of the factors that can increase turnover intention and designpolicies that emphasize job stability and employee well-being. The novelty of this study lies in the application of theJob Demand-Resources model in the context of banks in the Greater Jakarta area, as well as the use of SmartPLS 3.0to test the relationship between variables that contribute to the development of human resource theory and practice inthe banking industry

Abstract

This research will be conducted at the Solusi Hijau Main Garbage Bank in the Gunung Sindur District, Bogor Regency. The Solusi Hijau Waste Bank still uses a manual recording system that is easily lost, inefficient, and not dynamic. Therefore it is necessary to make a Web-based Waste Savings Application that can become the main activity facility for the Green Solutions Main Garbage Bank. This application will be used as an interactive interface for Customers and Unit Waste Banks as well as the general public as Prospective Customers or Prospective Management Unit Waste Banks so that they can maximize the performance of the Waste Bank in its development. The Web-based Waste Savings application is a continuation of basic research that has been done before, namely to create digital applications that are utilized by waste banks and the community so that waste banks can become a forum for public education in terms of waste handling and environmental management as well as generating community economic resources. Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is implemented as an Application development method. SDLC is a system development cycle in making waste bank applications by applying the waterfall method. The results of this research in the future are directed to be developed into a standard for Waste Saving System Applications in the community.

Abstract

Bank sampah sebagai salah satu solusi inovatif yang ditawarkan pemerintah untuk meminimalisir permasalahan sampah dengan mengubah sampah menjadi sesuatu yang bernilai ekonomi. Menanggapi hal tersebut Pemerintah Kota Depok memiliki program yang peduli akan Kesehatan, pemenuhan gizi serta keseimbangan lingkungan guna kesejahteraan masyarakat dengan yang disebut program CARAKA dan Bank Sampah dalam bentuk aplikasi Eduzicaraka.com dengan ciri khas tabungan sampah nasabah dapat ditukarkan dalam bentuk tunai maupun produk sembako. Namun, seiring dengan berjalannya waktu, perlu dilakukan evaluasi pengelolaan data yang semakin kompleks serta mendukung efisiensi dan akurasi kerja. Metode pelaksanaan yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan ini adalah dengan melakukan pengumpulan data manual dan digital yang kemudian dilakukan verifikasi terkait kesesuaiannya dengan transaksi yang terjadi di bank sampah serta monitoring kegiatan operasional bank sampah. Dari metode yang diterapkan ditemukan beberapa permasalahan yakni penginputan transaksi pada melalui Eduzicaraka.com tidak real time karena transaksi terlebih dahulu dicatat secara manual, kesalahan pencatatan manual yang mana tidak memuat detail harga setiap sampah yang terjual serta terdapat kesalahan perkalian harga pada catatan manual yang menyebabkan kerugian operasional bank sampah. Sehingga perlu dilakukan efisiensi pencatatan transaksi bank sampah baik dari Sumber Daya Manusia atau pengelola bank sampah maupun sistem pada aplikasi Eduzicaraka.com
