Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the need for the development of microcontroller-based physics bullet motion tools to stimulate students' concept understanding on the subject of parabolic motion. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) using the 4D research method (define, design, develop, disseminate) focused on the define stage. At the define stage, a needs analysis (need assessment) was conducted. This research is a quantitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques in this study were observation and questionnaire to analyze the needs of physics teachers and students of class XI MIA MAN 2 Deli Serdang. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that 1) Teachers need learning media in the form of teaching aids that can help stimulate understanding of concepts on the subject of parabolic motion 77.5% with the category agree. 2) Students have an interest in the implementation of learning by conducting experiments and using learning media in the form of teaching aids by 100% with a strongly agreed category. 3) There is no use of learning media in the form of microcontroller-based props that can help stimulate understanding of physics concepts on the subject of parabolic motion by 100% with a strongly agreed category

Abstract

This research aims to describe the effect of guided inquiry-based teaching materials assisted by V-Labs to improve students' science literacy after using the V-Lab (Virtual Laboratory). The method in this study is a quasi-experimental design using a non-equivalent control group design where the sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The selected research sample is X-MIA 1 as the control class and X-MIA 5 as the experimental class. This research was conducted at MAN 2 Deli Serdang in June 2022. The data collection technique used a scientific literacy test. The results showed that there was an effect of guided inquiry-based teaching materials assisted by v-labs in improving students' scientific literacy with the t-test at = 0.05 obtained sig. (2-tailed) of 0.00 (p<0.05). The average posttest value is 13.39 and the N-Gain value is 0.69 in the medium category. In addition, it can also be seen an increase in aspects of scientific literacy, namely 82% competence, 63% context and 72% knowledge.

Abstract

Curpose of the study: The purpose of the research that has been carried out is to analyze the effectiveness of cooperative problem solving learning with the science process skills approach in improving students' understanding of the subject of simple harmonic motion. Methodology: The method used is a quasi-experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design. The subject of the study was students of class X science from two high schools who were selected purposively. The data was analyzed with a Statistical Descriptive Test to describe the learning outcome data from two sample classes. Main Findings: The results of the analysis showed that the average posttest score of the experimental class was higher than that of the control class. The average score of the experimental class showed a high improvement category, while the control class only achieved a moderate category. CPS learning with the SPS approach has proven to be effective because it combines group cooperation and scientific exploration. Students can associate theory with practice, so that the understanding of concepts becomes more deep. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study introduces a novel integration of Cooperative Problem Solving (CPS) with Science Process Skills (SPS) in teaching Simple Harmonic Motion. Unlike traditional methods, this approach fosters both collaborative problem-solving and scientific thinking, enhancing students' conceptual understanding and practical application. It advances existing knowledge by demonstrating how CPS-SPS synergy can bridge theoretical physics and real-world problem-solving skills effectively.

Abstract

 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan nilai-nilai karakter siswa dengan hasil belajar menggunakan model Cooperative Problem Based Learning (CPBL) terintegrasi bahan ajar kimia SMA/MA. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA/MA Kota Pekanbaru dan Kabupaten Kampar, Provinsi Riau. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA/MA di Kota Pekanbaru dan Kabupaten Kampar. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian ada 2 kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen 1 dengan menggunakan model Cooperative Problem Based Learning (CPBL) terintegrasi bahan ajar kimia SMA/MA yang telah dikembangkan dan  kelas eksperimen 2 dengan  menggunakan model Cooperative Problem Based Learning(CPBL) terintegrasi bahan ajar kimia SMA/MA di sekolah. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam bentuk tes objektif hasil belajar dan lembar observasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan uji Correlation  pada program SPSS 16 for windows, Sig. (-tailed) < α = 0.05, maka hipotesis alternatif  (Ha) diterima dan Ho ditolak. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara karakter dengan hasil belajar dapat digunakan uji Regression Linear pada program SPSS 16 for windows.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Ha1 diterima dengan  perolehan harga sig. 0,000< 0,05, dengan kesimpulan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa dengan nilai-nilai karakter siswa yaitu komunikatif, kreatifitas, rasa ingin tahu, tanggung jawab dan toleransi. Kata Kunci : Cooperative   Problem   Based  Learning  (CPBL), Bahan  Ajar  Kimia, Hasil Belajar,                         Karakter.

Abstract

Pencapaian Kompetensi Hasil Belajar Fisika Siswa diantaranya karena kurang efektifnya suatu strategi dalam proses pembelajaran. Strategi pembelajaran yang diterapkan hendaknya banyak mendorong keaktifan siswa sehingga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Fisika siswa. Hasil belajar yang meningkat tidak hanya fokus kepada hasil belajar pada ranah kognitif saja melainkan hasil belajar pada ranah afektif dan psikomotor siswa. Untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa perlu dilakukan analisis data pada ketiga ranah tersebut. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan analisis hasil belajar fisika siswa pada ranah afektif pokok bahasan Getaran dan Gelombang.Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian Randomized Control Group Only Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas VIII SMPN 24 Padang. Sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakuan menggunakan lembar observasi ranah Afektif. Teknis Analisis data pada ranah Afektif menggunakan Uji-t pada taraf nyata 0,05.Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian Analisis Hasil belajar siswa pada ranah Afektif di kelas Esperimen lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol. Nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen pada ranah afektif diperoleh nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen adalah 77,93 dan kelas kontrol adalah 70,45. Hipotesis diuji dengan menggunakan uji t, pada ranah afektif diperoleh thitung= 7,69 dan ttabel= 1,67 pada taraf nyata 0,05. Hasil ini berarti bahwa thitung > ttabelsehingga Ho ditolak.. Dengan demikian disimpulkan terdapat perbedaan yang berarti analisis hasil belajar fisika siswa pada ranah Afektif menggunakan startegi penemuan terbimbing di kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol pokok bahasan getaran dan gelombang

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of Merdeka Curriculum through the Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) approach to improve senior high school students' conceptual understanding of momentum and impulse. Merdeka Curriculum emphasizes innovative and flexible learning, but its practical application in improving students' conceptual knowledge, especially in physics, remains unexplored. thus highlighting the need for teaching strategies that integrate technology, pedagogy, and content effectively. This research was conducted at SMA Nurul Iman Tanjung Morawa with class XI MIA 1 as the experimental group and XI MIA 2 as the control group. A quasi-experimental design with non-equivalent control groups was used, where the experimental group received instruction using the TPACK approach, while the control group followed conventional teaching methods. Data analysis using SPSS version 25 showed that the experimental group achieved a mean score of 71.42 (71%), compared to 62.29 (62%) for the control group. These results indicate that the implementation of TPACK-based curriculum is effective in improving students' conceptual understanding. Statistical analysis yielded a significance value of 0.037 (<0.05), which confirmed the success of the approach. Thus, this study concludes that the implementation of the TPACK-based Merdeka Curriculum effectively improves senior high school students' conceptual understanding of momentum and impulse.

Abstract

This research investigates the Qur'anic perspective on physics, specifically focusing on measurement. Employing a qualitative library research methodology, this study integrates an analysis of Qur'anic exegesis. Qur'anic interpretations are utilized to understand the meaning of relevant verses, particularly Surah Al-Qamar (54:49) and Al-Furqan (25:2), and their connection to the concept of measurement in physics. As a library-based study, the primary data sources consist of written materials such as books, journals, tafsir (exegesis) texts, and other documented sources. Secondary data includes Hadith, further interpretive works, physics textbooks, and other pertinent literature. Measurement is defined as the process of comparing a measured quantity with another quantity of a predetermined scale and unit. Measurement has varying applications across different educational levels. In elementary and middle schools, measurement is taught as a topic within science and physics. At the university level, measurement serves as a fundamental course used to prove or test concepts, principles, and facts. The actualization of physics in measurement, based on the Qur'an and Sunnah, can foster attitudes of honesty and carefulness in comparing values in every activity. If measurement is conducted without the guidance of the Qur'an and Sunnah, inconsistencies between theory and fact may arise. Individuals who habitually measure according to Qur'anic and Sunnah concepts will find that their activities and their products align with reality, as dishonesty and negligence are strictly avoided.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how Islamic values are integrated into chemistry learning through a contextual approach at the Chemistry Education Study Program of Universitas Islam Sumatera Utara. Using a qualitative case study method, data were collected through interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis involving lecturers, students, and program administrators. The analysis focuses on how religious values are embedded within the learning process. Integration occurs through various strategies, including the use of instructional materials that reference Quranic verses and hadiths, contextual case studies with real-life relevance, group-based reflections, and character-oriented assessments. A contextual learning approach—particularly problem-based learning and the use of Islamic-themed teaching media—is employed to bridge scientific concepts with students’ religious and everyday experiences. Findings indicate that this model encourages student engagement and supports the internalization of values such as honesty, social responsibility, and care for the environment. The integration of Islamic values is not merely additive but becomes an integral part of students’ cognitive and affective learning experiences. This study contributes to the discourse on faith-based education by offering a model for combining religious and scientific knowledge in higher education. It underscores the potential of contextual learning to foster both academic understanding and character development, in line with Indonesia’s educational vision that promotes intellectual achievement alongside moral and spiritual formation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen pengukuran kepuasan pelayanan manajemen berbasis model SERVQUAL (Service Quality) yang dikembangkan untuk mengevaluasi kualitas layanan manajerial di perguruan tinggi. Instrumen ini terdiri dari lima dimensi utama, yaitu tangibles (bukti fisik), reliability (keandalan), responsiveness (daya tanggap), assurance (jaminan), dan empathy (empati). Penelitian melibatkan 50 responden yang merupakan mahasiswa di lingkungan Universitas Islam Sumatera Utara, dengan tujuan memperoleh gambaran sejauh mana persepsi mahasiswa terhadap pelayanan manajemen sesuai dengan dimensi kualitas layanan yang diukur. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan program SPSS. Uji validitas dilakukan dengan membandingkan nilai r-hitung (Corrected Item-Total Correlation) dengan r-tabel pada taraf signifikansi 5% dengan df = 48. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa seluruh indikator pada lima dimensi memiliki nilai r-hitung r-tabel (0,279), sehingga setiap butir pernyataan dinyatakan valid. Sementara itu, uji reliabilitas menghasilkan nilai Cronbachs Alpha sebesar 0,953, yang menunjukkan bahwa instrumen memiliki konsistensi internal yang sangat tinggi dan dinyatakan reliabel. Dengan demikian, instrumen ini layak digunakan sebagai alat ukur standar dalam penelitian-penelitian selanjutnya untuk menilai tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap pelayanan manajemen di institusi pendidikan tinggi
