Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk: (1) mengembangkan modul pembelajaran IPA berbasis kontekstual pada materi suhu dan kalor untuk kelas 5 SD; (2) menghasilkan modul pembelajaran IPA berbasis kontekstual pada materi suhu dan kalor kelas 5 SD yang layak untuk dipergunakan. Jenis penellitian ini yaitu penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) yang menggunakan prosedur pengembangan model ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation). Uji keterbacaan penelitian ini sejumlah 6 siswa SD Negeri Sindurjan Purworejo. Penelitian ini menghasilkan kevalidan dan kepraktisan produk. Nilai sebesar 3,32 diperoleh dari validasi ahli media dan 3,15 dari ahli materi, sehingga diperoleh nilai mean  sebesar 3,23 dan tergolong kategori valid. Berdasarkan  kuesioner  respon siswa didapatkan  nilai sebesar 3,53 sehingga termasuk kategori sangat praktis. Disimpulkan bahwa modul pembelajaran IPA berbasis kontekstual pada materi suhu dan kalor untuk sekolah dasar dinyatakan layak karena telah memenuhi kriteria kelayakan yaitu valid dan sangat praktis, sehingga layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar untuk siswa kelas V sekolah dasar.

Abstract

 Pada   dasarnya   peran strategi,   model,   media   dan teknologi pembelajaran di sekolah dasar dalam pembelajaran khususnya di Sekolah Dasar sangatlah berperan penting, kerena dengan adanya strategi, model, media dan teknologi pembelajaran di sekolah dasar maka akan dapat merangsang minat, perasaan dan kinerja siswa untuk dapat melakukan kegiatan baik di dalam kelas maupun di luar kelas yang dikemas secara menarik dan mudah dipahami  oleh  siswa.  Dalam  makalah  ini  dijelaskan  tentang strategi, model, media dan teknologi pembelajaran di sekolah dasar.Kata Kunci: strategi, model, media dan teknologi pembelajaran

Abstract

Understanding key scientific concepts is vital for elementary students, yet misconceptions are common. This study identifies misconceptions about magnetism among sixth-grade students at SDN Muhammadiyah Purworejo using the Certainty of Response Index (CRI) method. Involving 33 fourth-grade students, the research employed a qualitative case study approach with CRI-based diagnostic tests. Responses were categorized into four groups: “guessing,” “understanding the concept,” “not understanding the concept,” and “misconceptions.” Results showed the highest misconceptions in how to make a magnet, followed by the magnetic field, understanding magnets, magnetic poles, and distinguishing magnetic from non-magnetic objects, with the lowest misconceptions in the application of magnets in daily life. The study highlights the need for effective teaching strategies to address these misconceptions and improve students' understanding of magnets.

Abstract

Learning media innovation relates to the process of creating learning media with novelty to provide a new revolution in teaching and learning activities. This process depends on the perception of teachers at the primary school level, which can be defined as a person’s understanding or thought of an object that will be interpreted through the five senses. The purpose of this research is to find out how elementary school teachers perceive learning media innovations with digital games in implementing of independent curriculum. This research is qualitative in nature and uses descriptive methods with the research subject being teachers in one of the private elementary schools located in Bayan District, Purworejo. The interview technique was used to collect data from teachers to find out their perceptions specifically. The data obtained will be analyzed using the Miles and Huberman technique. The results showed that teachers agreed with the existence of digital games as one possible way to explore learning media innovations to support the implementation of the independent curriculum. Teachers responses to digital games are thought to be able to follow the needs of children who like to play and can minimize the use of digital games that do not contain learning elements so that they are very practical to be integrated in teaching and learning activities. It can be concluded that the perception of teachers who accept the existence of digital games as a learning media innovation is the first step to be implemented in the teaching and learning process both online, hybrida, and face-to-face so that it can keep up the times.

Abstract

Mitra dihadapkan dengan masalah: 1) akses terbatas ke tujuan wisata di Indonesia menghambat banyak siswa dari mengunjungi tempat -tempat wisata populer karena jarak, waktu, dan biaya. 2) Pembelajaran didominasi oleh pembelajaran yang bersifat konseptual, soal dan jawapan, tugasan (misalnya Matematika/Bahasa Inggris), gambar, dan video, yang tidak mempunyai teknologi yang diperlukan untuk memotivasi pelajar untuk mengikuti pelajaran. 3) Tidak adanya literasi budaya di sekolah-sekolah Indonesia menghasilkan siswa yang kurang akrab dengan budaya dan peluang pariwisata negara. 4) Mayoritas pendekatan pembelajaran yang digunakan masih konvensional. Pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Penggunaan Virtual Tour Indonesia dengan pendekatan Joyful Learning bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa SD Negeri Roworejo. Kegiatan ini melibatkan 15 siswa kelas 3, 4, dan 5 yang diberikan pengalaman belajar menggunakan Virtual Tour. pemanfaatan Virtual Tour Indonesia diperoleh berdasarkan hasil kuisioner motivasi belajar Hasil menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas siswa memberikan respon 'Sangat Setuju' (skor 4) pada sebagian besar pernyataan dalam kuesioner motivasi belajar, dengan rata-rata skor berada pada kategori tinggi (3-4). Metode ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan menguji kelayakan LKPD berbasis pendekatan saintifik untuk observasi kelas oleh mahasiswa PGSD Universitas eMuhammadiyah Purworejo. Metode penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan ADDIE yang meliputi 5 tahapan. Hasil Ahli media dengan kriteria “Baik” berdasarkan uji ahli dan uji coba lapangan. Dengan demikian mahasiswa sangat dimudahkan dalam melakukan kegiatan observasi karena dengan LKPD maka membantu mahasiswa melakukan pengamatan secara sistematis sesuai dengan pendekatan saintifik.

Abstract

The numeracy ability of fifth grade students of SDN Kedungpucang through the traditional Sundanese Manda game was examined in this study. The results of the AKM pre-test showed that the average student numeracy score was 50.33, below the school's KKM of 70. This study aims to analyze ability numeracy in games Sundanese manda in mathematics learning. This type of research is included in the qualitative descriptive category. with stages like data collection, data reduction, extraction conclusions, and verification. Tools for collecting data include observation , interviews , documentation , and sheets. Work student. Data analysis methods applied use approach analysis descriptive qualitative. Student performance was measured through active discussion, accuracy in solving problems, and application of mathematical concepts in real situations. The results of the study after the intervention increased significantly, with the average post-test being 67.33 or an increase of 17 points. Students involved in the game showed understanding operation count on concept numeracy in a way deep and contextual. Thus, integration game traditional sunda manda proven effective in develop skills numeracy.

Abstract

Variasi media pembelajaran merupakan keterampilan mengajar yang penting untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran pembelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar. Penggunaan beragam media pembelajaran dapat membantu murid memahami konsep secara konkret dan menarik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi keterampilan mengajar guru dalam mengadakan variasi media pembelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar serta menganalisis kendala yang dialami guru dalam menngadakan variasi media pembelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar. Peneitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa guru mengadakan variasi media pembelajaran dalam kategori cukup baik, namun hanya sebagaian guru yang menerapkannya. Guru masih cenderung menggunakan satu jenis media, meskipun variasi yang ditetapkan telah meningkatkan keterlibatan murid. Namun, masih terdapat kendala dalam penggunaan media berbasis teknologi. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan kompetensi guru dan penyediaan fasilitas pendukung menjadi faktor penting dalam optimalisasi variasi media pembelajaran di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effect of the School Literacy Movement (SLM) on the literacy skills of fifth-grade students, involving a sample of 15 participants. Literacy skills were assessed using the Minimum Competency Assessment (MCA) literacy scores. A quantitative experimental design was employed, utilizing a one-group pretest-posttest approach. Data were collected through interviews with homeroom teachers, followed by pretesting, the implementation of the literacy intervention, and posttesting. Data analysis using SPSS version 22 revealed that the normality test for both pretest and posttest scores yielded p-values of 0.230 and 0.570, respectively, indicating a normal distribution. The Levene’s test for homogeneity of variance produced a p-value of 0.178, confirming homogeneity across the group. The findings showed a 2% increase in students’ average MCA literacy scores after the implementation of the SLM, suggesting a measurable improvement in literacy skills. These results underscore the role of school-based literacy programs in enhancing students' literacy competencies and support the continued development and integration of literacy initiatives in primary education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extracurricular scouting program that can foster discipline and analyze how it is applied to the discipline of students at MI Imam Puro Cangkrep Kidul Purworejo. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study were students who took part in the scouting extracurricular, namely grade III and IV students at MI Imam Puro Cangkrep Kidul with a total of 15 students taken using the cluster sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. This study obtained results that there are several extracurricular scouting programs that can foster students' discipline, namely routine training, scout opening and closing ceremonies, Friday and Saturday camps (Perjusa), and PBB. The supporting factors for students' discipline are the role of parents, the role of teachers at school, and self-awareness. As well as the inhibiting factors for students' discipline are self-awareness and peer factors. This study also obtained results that the character of student discipline through the MI Imam Puro Cangkrep Kidul scout extracurricular is in a good classification as seen from three indicators, namely: 1) discipline towards time, 2) discipline towards rules, and 3) discipline in dressing. This study is expected to increase knowledge and insight for the development of science, especially in the application of scouting education to student character.
