Abstract

Economic growth in Islamic economic teachings is strengthened in the Quran, as-sunnah, and the writings of previous scholars. The growth and development of Islamic economics are reflected in the development of human resources and nature to strengthen human dignity, not only including financial fulfillment, but also desires and preparation for life in the afterlife. This study aims to determine the effect of Domestic Investment, Foreign Investment, Government Spending and Labor on Economic Growth in the Province of Java Island in the Perspective of Islamic Economics. The study used panel data from 6 provinces in Java Island. The results of the study showed that the selected model was the fixed effect model test which stated the results of the t-test that the PMDN variable had a positive and significant effect on economic growth, the PMA variable had a positive but insignificant effect on economic growth, the government spending variable had a positive and significant effect on economic growth and the labor variable had a negative and insignificant effect on economic growth.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the performance of Islamic banks in Southeast Asia through a comprehensive framework that includes both financial and non-financial aspects, particularly those grounded in the Maqasid al-Shari’ah. The research is significant as the rapid growth of Islamic finance in the region has not been matched by systematic performance evaluations. Employing a quantitative approach with an explanatory design, data were collected from financial reports, structured surveys, and interviews, and analysed using panel data regression with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The findings reveal a significant post-pandemic recovery among Islamic banks, demonstrated by improvements in profitability, operational efficiency, and asset quality. The Maqasid Syariah Index (MSI) shows varied achievements, with Malaysia and Indonesia leading in the integration of Islamic ethical and social values. Internal factors such as bank size and age, along with external factors such as GDP growth, the Islamic Financial Development Index (IFDI), and Sharia Governance Score (SGS), significantly influence performance. These results underscore the importance of aligning macroeconomic factors, Islamic governance, and financial infrastructure to support the resilience and sustainability of Islamic banking. This study offers an original contribution by developing a performance evaluation model rooted in maqasid principles and provides policy recommendations to enhance the integration and efficiency of the regional Islamic financial system.

Abstract

UU No. 6 Tahun 2014 tentang Desa (UU Desa) telah diundangkan tanggal 15 Januari 2014 dan dinyatakan berlaku pada hari yang sama. Pemerintah Desa sebagai penyelenggara pemerintahan desa mengalami sejumlah kendala dan sejumlah kebutuhan untuk mengimplementasikannya. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk membahas dua hal. Pertama, kendala pemerintah desa dalam mengimplementasikan UU Desa. Kedua, kebutuhan pemerintah desa untuk mengimplementasikan UU Desa. Hasil kajian menunjukkan, bahwa dalam rangka mengimlementasikan UU Desa, pemerintah desa menghadapi sejumlah kendala yaitu. (1). Kendala legislasi dan regulasi tentang desa. Banyak substansi aturan yang membingungkan dan belum dibuat. Aturan yang menyangkut kelembagaan yang mengurus desa juga menimbulkan kebingungan. (2). Banyak aparatur pemerintah desa yang belum memiliki profesionalisme yang memadai untuk implementasi UU Desa. Hal ini disebabkan karena berbagai faktor,  seperti ketersediaan jumlah aparatur profesional yang bisa bertindak efektif dan efisien, terbuka, serta bertanggungjawab. (3). Budaya pemerintah desa dan masyarakat desa, khususnya dalam merancang kebutuhan masyarakat yang partisipatif dan transparan belum mapan. Kebutuhan pemerintah desa meliputi: (1). Sosialisasi berbagai aturan yang mengatur pemerintah desa. (2). Pelatihan terhadap aparatur desa. (3). Perlu membangun budaya pemerintah desa dan masyarakat desa yang partisipatif, transparan untuk mendukung implementasi UU Desa agar lebih optimal. (4). Memperkuat pendamping pembangunan desa dan kontrol masyarakat. Rekomendasi (1). Mempercepat pelengkapan regulasi yang mengatur UU Desa dan memperluas sosialisasinya. (2).  Memberi pelatihan kepada aparatur desa agar profesional dalam mengelola keuangan dan pembangunan desa yang partisipatif dan transparan. (3). Melatih masyarakat untuk berpartisipasi dalam pembangunan dan ikut mengontrol penggunaan dana desa.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan di sekolah PKBM Cendikia diikuti sebanyak 20   pengusaha kerupuk dan pemilik UKM kerupuk di desa Mojopahit. Kegiatan dapat dilaksanakan  dan berjalan dengan baik. Peserta cukup antusias dalam mengikuti pelatihan dapat dilihat dari jumlah kehadiran, dan mengikuti kegiatan dari awal hingga ahir.  Peserta cukup antusias terlihat dalam seluruh kegiatan dan proses pelatihan, seperti kerja kelompok bermaian peran, diskuri dan tanya jawab. Dari kegiatan pengabdian peserta memiliki tambahan pengetahuan terkaiat dengan menegement usaha dan pengembangan usaha, peluang pasar dan pesaiang usaha. Peserta mampu meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan usaha membuat dan melaksanakan management usaha yang baik melalui tatakelola usaha dengam pendekatan menegemnt modern.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi mahasiswa UIN Raden Intan Lampung terhadap efektivitas iklan YouTube Grammarly. Dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif tipe deskriptif, data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap informan yang dipilih secara purposif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi mahasiswa dapat dikategorikan menjadi dua kelompok utama: persepsi positif dan persepsi negatif. Persepsi positif mencakup daya tarik visual iklan, relevansi pesan dengan kebutuhan akademik, dan motivasi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis. Sebaliknya, persepsi negatif meliputi kelebihan informasi, durasi iklan yang dianggap mengganggu, dan kurangnya aksesibilitas terhadap Grammarly premium. Penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang bagaimana iklan digital dapat diterima oleh kalangan mahasiswa serta bagaimana meningkatkan efektivitasnya dalam konteks pendidikan.

Abstract

Purpose - This study aims to analyze the influence of marketing strategies and brand image on customer loyalty, with customer satisfaction as a mediating variable at BSI Bank Kedaton Branch. Method - The research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents selected using purposive sampling. The respondents are customers of conventional services and active users of the BSI Mobile application. Result - The results of the study showed that marketing strategies and brand image affect BSI bank customer loyalty. Marketing strategies and brand image are able to influence BSI bank customer satisfaction, and customer satisfaction as a mediating variable is able to mediate marketing strategies and brand image on BSI bank loyalty. Implication - This study provides practical insights for Islamic banking institutions to increase customer loyalty by improving their marketing strategies and strengthening brand image through customer satisfaction. Originality - The novelty of this research lies in its integrated analysis of customer satisfaction as a mediating variable between marketing strategies and brand image toward customer loyalty in the context of a newly merged Islamic bank, BSI. Abstract

Abstract. Poverty remains a major challenge in improving social welfare in Indonesia. The government launched the Family Hope Program (PKH) to support low-income families through financial assistance and financial management training to achieve economic independence. This community service activity aims to enhance financial literacy and budgeting skills among PKH beneficiaries in Waysidomukti Village, South Lampung. The implementation method employed Participatory Action Research (PAR) through counseling, simulations, mentoring, and group discussions. Participants were taught to create budgets, record expenses, and allocate funds. The results showed increased understanding of financial planning, as evidenced by habits of recording expenses and setting aside savings, supporting financial independence and reducing reliance on PKH assistance. Abstrak. Kemiskinan menjadi tantangan besar dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan sosial di Indonesia. Pemerintah meluncurkan Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) untuk mendukung keluarga berpenghasilan rendah melalui bantuan keuangan dan pelatihan pengelolaan keuangan guna mencapai kemandirian ekonomi. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan literasi keuangan dan keterampilan pengelolaan anggaran keluarga penerima PKH di Desa Waysidomukti, Kecamatan Ketapang, Lampung Selatan. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan Participatory Action Research (PAR) melalui konseling, simulasi, pendampingan, dan diskusi. Peserta belajar menyusun anggaran, mencatat pengeluaran, dan mengalokasikan dana. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta dalam perencanaan keuangan, terlihat dari kebiasaan mencatat pengeluaran dan menyisihkan tabungan, sehingga mendukung kemandirian keuangan serta pengurangan ketergantungan pada PKH.

Abstract

Tujuan dari program pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberdayakan pelaku UMKM perempuan di Kecamatan Kalianda dan Ketapang melalui peningkatan literasi digital dan keterampilan pemasaran berbasis teknologi guna memperluas akses pasar dan memperkuat kontribusi mereka dalam ekonomi lokal. Program ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR) yang melibatkan partisipasi aktif pelaku UMKM dalam setiap tahap kegiatan. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan digital, seperti desain grafis, pembuatan konten video, dan strategi pemasaran online, yang berdampak pada peningkatan omzet serta keberhasilan digitalisasi usaha, terutama di Kecamatan Kalianda.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of rupiah exchange rate, foreign exchange reserves, and The Fed Rate on interest rates in Indonesia from an Islamic economic perspective for the period 2003-2024 using the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) approach. This research uses a quantitative approach with time series data for 22 years (2003-2024) and analyzes data using Eviews 10. The results show that in the long term, the rupiah exchange rate has a significant effect on interest rates in Indonesia (t-statistic 2.93 > t-table 2.10), The Fed Rate has a significant effect on interest rates (t-statistic 2.67 > t-table 2.10), while foreign exchange reserves do not significantly affect interest rates (t-statistic 1.85 < t-table 2.10). From an Islamic economic perspective, interest rates are a manifestation of usury (riba) practices that are prohibited because they contain elements of exploitation and injustice. Islamic financial systems develop comprehensive alternatives through profit-sharing principles (mudharabah), buying and selling (murabahah), and leasing (ijarah) that reflect dimensions of justice and blessing. This research provides an important contribution to monetary policy making that considers national economic stability while still referring to Islamic economic principles.

Abstract

Introduction: This study aims to examine the influence of environmental performance on the Maqashid Shariah Index (MSI), with firm size serving as a moderating variable. The research is centered on food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Sharia Stock Index (ISSI) between 2019 and 2023. This sector was selected due to its notable environmental impact and its vital role in supporting ethical and halal consumption in accordance with Islamic principles.Methods: A quantitative method was employed, utilizing secondary data sourced from annual reports, sustainability reports, and environmental performance ratings published through the PROPER program. The analysis employed Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) to evaluate both the direct and interaction effects among the variables.Results: The findings reveal that environmental performance has a significant and positive impact on the Maqashid Shariah Index. Furthermore, firm size enhances this relationship, indicating that larger companies that implement strong environmental practices tend to achieve higher MSI scores. This suggests that greater resource availability and organizational visibility contribute to more sustainable outcomes and alignment with Sharia objectives. These results underscore the importance of incorporating environmental responsibility into sharia-compliant business models. This study contributes to the development of Islamic accounting by illustrating how environmental engagement and firm scale interact to support the realization of maqashid shariah goals, providing practical insights for governance and policy design in sharia-based corporate frameworks.
