Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui pre-konsepsi peserta didik kelas X SMA terhadap konsep interaksi antarmolekul, printer inkjet dan hubungan keduanya. Penelitian ini mengacu pada Model of Educational Reconstruction (MER) yang dibatasi pada tahap investigasi pre-konsepsi peserta didik. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu pedoman wawancara, lembar analisis teks, dan lembar validasi rancangan bahan ajar. Data penelitian yang diperoleh berupa transkripsi wawancara peserta didik kelas X, hasil analisis teks, dan hasil validasi rancangan bahan ajar. Hasil penelitian adalah (a) pre-konsepsi peserta didik terhadap konsep interaksi antarmolekul, (b) pre-konsepsi peserta didik terhadap konteks printer inkjet, dan (c) pre-konsepsi peserta didik terhadap hubungan antara konsep interaksi antarmolekul dengan konteks printer inkjet.

Abstract

Kurangnya media pembelajaran merupakan salah satu masalah yang terdapat di SMAN 1 Singkep Barat. Pembelajaran yang monoton membuat siswa kurang tertarik dan merasa bosan pada saat proses pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk 1) mengembangkan media pembelajaran ULTAKIM berbasis kemaritiman; 2) mengetahui validitas media pembelajaran ULTAKIM; 3) tanggapan siswa terhadap media pembelajaran ULTAKIM berbasis kemaritiman yang dikembangkan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (R&D) yang dikembangkan melalui tahapan (1) define, (2) design, dan (3) development. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi, lembar validasi, dan lembar respon siswa. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu rata-rata persentase validasi oleh ahli media sebesar 97,5% dengan kriteria sangat layak, ahli materi diperoleh persentase sebesar 93,7% dengan kriteria sangat. Berdasarkan penilaian tersebut, maka media pembelajaran ULTAKIM berbasis kemaritiman pada materi hakikat ilmu kimia yang telat dikembangkan layak digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran kimia.

Abstract

A scientific paper containing innovative work in the learning process is needed by teachers as requirement in upgrading their rank in their professional development, including senior high school/equivalent teachers in Bintan Regency. However, generally they get difficulties in making scientific work was caused difficulty in finding relevant reference sources relate to research topic, limited knowledge in information technology and avoid plagiarism check. The purpose of this activity is to guide high school/equivalent teachers in Bintan regency in order to capable to make correct scientific papers good free from plagiarism with the help of Mendeley reference management. Implementation of activities in the form of workshop or training with lecture methods, discussions, question and answer, and projects. The activity was carried out for two days in the form of workshop and two days in the form of independent assignments. This community service activity was considered successful since 80% participants increasing their knowledge of Mendeley's reference management and being able to apply the knowledge in writing free plagiarizm scientific paper.

Abstract

Sangat penting untuk mengetahui pandangan calon guru kimia tentang Nature of Science karena akan mempengaruhi kinerja disaat menjadi guru yang sesungguhnya. Guru yang memiliki pandangan mengenai nature of science (VNOS) yang benar, akan mentransfer kemampuan tersebut kepada para siswanya, begitu juga sebaliknya pemahaman yang salah juga akan tertularkan kepada para siswa. Aspek VNOS yang akan dibahas meliputi (1) Tentativeness, (2) Empirical basis, (3)Subjectivity, (4) Creativity, (5) Social/cultural embeddedness, dan (6) Theories and laws. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuisioner VNOS form B yang telah diadopsi dari Lederman dan pedoman wawancara. Pandangan calon guru kimia dijelaskan dan dikategorikan sebagai naïve, eclectic, dan informed untuk setiap aspek NOS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa calon guru kimia memiliki pandangan yang cukup memadai tentang Nature of Science.

Abstract

Sebuah karya tulis ilmiah yang berisi karya inovatif dalam proses pembelajaran sangat diperlukan oleh guru-guru sebagai syarat kenaikan pangkat dalam pengembangan profesi mereka, termasuk guru-guru SMA/sederajat di Kabupaten Bintan. Namun, pada umumnya mereka mengalami kendala dalam membuat karya tulis ilmiah disebabkan kesulitan dalam mencari sumber referensi yang relevan dengan topik penelitian, keterbatasan pengetahuan dalam TIK, dan kesulitan dalam mengolah kalimat agar tidak terdeteksi sebagai kegiatan plagiasi. Tujuan kegiatan ini agar para guru SMA/sederajat di Kabupaten Bintan dapat membuat karya tulis ilmiah yang sesuai kaedah penulisan yang baik dan bebas plagiasi dengan bantuan manajemen referensi Mendeley. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dalam bentuk workshop/pelatihan dengan metode ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab, dan projek. Kegiatan dilakukan selama dua hari dalam bentuk workshop dan dua hari dalam bentuk tugas mandiri. Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the practicality and effectiveness of educational game media using the Lectora Inspire application on chemical equilibrium. This study used research and development (R&D) methods, with the ADDIE research model, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. In this study only the Implementation and Evaluation stage was carried out. The test subjects in this study were 2 teachers and 20 students of class XI IPA 2 Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Tanjungpinang. The results of practicality tests using teacher questionnaire responses was 88% with the category of very practical and in terms of student responses, it was obtained a percentage of 84% with very practical criteria. In the aspect of effectiveness obtained learning outcomes with pretest and posttest scores N-Gain 0.5 results in the medium category. Based on the results of evaluations conducted by educative game media using the Lectora Inspire application on chemical equilibrium, it is declared practical, and effective for use.

Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan untuk menganalisis prekonsepsi siswa kelas X SMA dalam menghubungkan konteks fenomena air laut dengan konten hakikat ilmu kimia. Penelitian ini mengacu pada Model of Educational Reconstruction (MER) yang dibatasi pada tahap investigasi pre-konsepsi siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu pedoman wawancara, dan lembar angket. Data penelitian yang diperoleh berupa transkripsi wawancara siswa kelas X, dan hasil angket. Hasil penelitian adalah (a) prekonsepsi siswa terhadap konsep hakikat ilmu kimia ; 100% siswa telah mempelajari hakikat ilmu di tingkat SMP, namun belum mampu untuk menjelaskan kembali, (b) prekonsepsi siswa terhadap konteks fenomena air laut ; 100% siswa mengetahui fenomena air laut sebatas mengandung garam dan rasanya asin, dan (c) prekonsepsi siswa terhadap hubungan antara konteks fenomena air laut dengan konten hakikat ilmu kimia ; 70% siswa mampu menghubungkan fenomena air laut dengan konten hakikat ilmu kimia.

Abstract

Abstract: The science teaching materials needed today are teaching materials that can make students literate in science. One way is to develop teaching materials based on scientific literacy. To produce good teaching materials, certain designs are needed to achieve learning goals and can improve students' scientific literacy. Students who have studied chemistry should be able to analyze natural phenomena in scientific chemistry, one of which is marine pollution. This research was conducted to design high school chemistry teaching materials in connecting the context of sea pollution with chemical solution material. The method of this research is descriptive qualitative which refers to the Model of Educational Reconstruction (MER). The instruments used were standard competencevalidation sheets, text analysis sheets, and teaching material validation sheets. The results showed: a) The results of the indicator standard competencevalidation and learning objectives cognitive and attitude aspects, the results of text analysis and the results of the validation of teaching materials, all obtained valid categories, with the average value of each CVI was 0.91; 0.93; 0.94; and 0.95, b) The design of teaching materials include the contact stage, the curriculum stage, the elaboration stage, the decision-making stage, and the Nexus stage. Keywords:Design of teaching materials; scientific literacy; sea pollution; chemical solution
