Abstract

Tomat ceri merupakan salah satu hasil pertanian yang prospektif di Indonesia dan memiliki nilai ekonomis yang lebih tinggi. Pemenuhan kebutuhan pasar tomat ceri di Indonesia biasanya dari impor sehingga harga jualnya tinggi berkisar antara Rp.20.000/kg hingga Rp.30.000/kg bila dibandingkan dengan jenis tomat mutiara memiliki harga awal Rp. 8.000/kg-Rp. 12.000/kg. Harus dilakukan perbaikan budidaya tomat ceri agar hasilnya dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pasar dan meminimalisir impor. Upaya untuk memperbaiki pertumbuhan tanaman dalam fase perkecambahan salah satunya dengan menggunakan jenis media tanam yang sesuai dengan pengaturan komposisi media tanam yang tepat. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan JuliAgustus 2024 di Desa Peganden, Kecamatan Manyar, Kabupaten Gresik. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) non faktorial berupa M1= Tanah top soil, M2 =Arang sekam, M3= Kompos, M4= Tanah top soil+ arang sekam, M5= Tanah top soil+ kompos, dan M6 =Tanah top soil+ arang sekam + kompos. Keenam (6) perlakuan tersebut di ulang sebanyak 4 kali ulangan sehingga diperoleh 18 percobaan. Variabel yang diamati berupa pH tanah, kelembaban tanah, jumlah daun, tinggi tanaman, panjang akar, dan bobot segar tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan M1= Tanah top soil dan M6 =Tanah top soil+ arang sekam + kompos menunjukkan pertumbuhan tanaman yang baik disemua variabel dan umur pengamatan.

Abstract

Produksi padi pada setiap musim panen tidak memberikan peningkatan hasil gabah, Hal tersebut dikarenakan penerapan teknik penanaman banyak bibit dalam satu rumpun dan pindah tanam diumur dewasa yang mendominasi dikalangan pertanian Kecamatan Balongpanggang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan jumlah bibit dan umur pindah tanam yang efektif dalam meningkatkan potensi hasil panen padi. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Dusun Kedung Jati, Desa Babatan, Kecamatan Balongpanggang, Gresik pada bulan April - Juli 2024. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 2 faktor yang diteliti. Faktor pertama, yaitu jumlah bibit disetiap lubang : J1 (2 bibit), J2 (3 bibit), J3 (5 bibit), serta faktor kedua, yaitu umur pindah tanam : U1 (15 HSS), U2 (20 HSS), dan U3 (25 HSS). Analisis data menggunakan analisis sidik ragam 5%, jika terdapat perbedaan nyata dilanjutkan dengan uji BNT 5% dan uji korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya interkasi nyata terhadap semua variabel pengamatan kecuali pada variabel umur berbunga dan berat gabah hampa. Kombinasi perlakuan terbaik ditunjukkan oleh perlakuan J2U2 (jumlah 3 bibit disetiap lubang dan umur pindah tanam 20 HSS) yang memperoleh hasil panen padi GKG 3,13 Kg/ petak setara dengan 12,5 Ton/ Ha. Penanaman tanaman padi dianjurkan menggunkaan 3 bibit dalam satu lubang dan pindah tanam diumur 20 HSS untuk mendapatkan hasil panen yang tinggi.

Abstract

Rendahnya produksi gula dapat terjadi karena penurunan kualitas bahan tanam dan penyelenggaraan budidaya rawat ratoon yang kurang optimum. Pemuliaan tanaman dilakukan guna menghasilkan varietas unggul baru (VUB) yang memiliki potensi produktifitas tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengevaluasi dan mengintreprestasikan klon mana yang memiliki keragaan morfologi dan agronomi terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman tebu (Saccharum officinarum L.) ratoon dua. Penelitian merupakan percobaan lapang yang dilaksanakan pada Juni-Juli 2024 di Kebun Penelitian—dan— Pengembangan—Tanaman--Tebu (P3T) PG Gempolkrep PT PerkebunanaaNusantaraaaX (PTPN X) di Lahan Jatisari. Variabel yang diamati terdiri dari variabel kualitatif (batang, daun dan mata tunas) dan variabel kuantitatif (tinggi batang, diameter batang, jumlah batang, jumlah daun, brix, bobot batang, dan rendemen). Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif analitis, ANOVA, uji DMRT 5%, uji korelasi, keragaman genetik, dan heritabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan karakter morfologi antar klon JW01 UMG NX, SB03 UMGNX, SB04 UMG NX, SB11 UMGNX, SB12 UMGNX, SB19 UMG NX dan SB20 UMG NX. Terdapat perbedaan nyata pada diameter batang, rata-rata tertinggi pada K5 (SB20 UMG NX) sebesar 33,87 mm dan terendah pada K7 (SB03 UMG NX) sebesar 28,18 mm. Terdapat perbedaan nyata pada jumlah batang, rata-rata tertinggi pada K7 (SB03 UMG NX) sebesar 68,23 buah dan terendah pada K6 (JW01 UMG NX) sebesar 61,92 buah. Terdapat perbedaan nyata pada rendemen, rata-rata tertinggi pada K6 (JW01 UMG NX) sebesar 11,97% dan terendah pada K9 (Bululawang) sebesar 7,86%.

Abstract

Community knowledge, especially from the extended family of Muhammadiyah Vocational High School 2 Gresik regarding hydroponic cultivation as capital to overcome the problem of food independence. Cultivating plants using a hydroponic system is considered a very profitable alternative in the agricultural sector, considering the increasingly narrow agricultural land in Indonesia, especially at Muhammadiyah Vocational High School 2 Gresik. Based on an analysis of the hydroponic cultivation situation which is engaged in productive economic activities, which includes the type of horticultural plant cultivation (vegetables and fruit), teacher and student activities are carried out to support food independence and community welfare. This activity was very effectively implemented to restore the economic smoothness of the community, especially Teachers and Students of Muhammadiyah Vocational High School 2 Gresik. Therefore, this activity aims to increase the understanding of school principals, teachers, and students to develop hydroponic plant cultivation. The method used in implementing this Community Service activity is using discussion lectures and practices in cultivating fruit and vegetable horticulture plants which are carried out directly at Muhammadiyah Vocational High School 2 Gresik. This community service activity was carried out at Muhammadiyah Vocational High School 2 Gresik. This activity was carried out to mobilize the benefits of planting and consuming hydroponic fruit and vegetables. This community service activity will start in March-August 2024. The output targets that have been realized are fruit and vegetable plant nurseries, transplanting to NFT (Nutrient Film Technique) hydroponic installations, and plant care during plant development. Harvest activities will be carried out in mid-July 2023. This community service activity is fully supported by research from the PP Muhammadiyah Higher Education Council and funding from the Mu Research Grant Batch VII for 2023/2024.

Abstract

Bullying has long been an obstacle in how schools operate. Bullying as a phrase describes a variety of ways in which someone uses strength or power to hurt somebody else, leaving the victim feeling hopeless, traumatized, and unhappy. The goal of the study was to determine the effectiveness of cognitive behavior therapy counseling to increase self-control in students who have a tendency of bullying behavior. This study used a pretest and multiple posttest design. Seven children were used as the study's subjects. Purposive sampling was utilized for the sample elimination. Questionnaires on self-control and bullying were used to collect data. Statistical analysis of data using the repeated measures anova test. The findings demonstrated that cognitive behavior therapy counseling was contributing to improve self-control within individuals who had shown a tendency towards bullying behavior.

Abstract

Permintaan gula yang terus meningkat tidak diimbangi dengan peningkatan produktivitas gula karena faktor iklim, terbatasnya ketersediaan varietas unggul baru dan serangan hama pada tebu. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan produktivitas tebu dan tahan terhadap serangan hama adalah dengan menyediakan bahan tanam (bibit) yang berkualitas melalui pemuliaan buatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keragaman pertumbuhan dan ketahanan terhadap serangan hama penyakit kebakaran pada beberapa klon tebu unggul di media polybag. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik di Desa Klangonan, Kecamatan Kebomas, Kabupaten Gresik. Penelitian dimulai pada bulan Maret 2023 dan berlangsung hingga 16 Agustus 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) faktor tunggal dengan 11 klon tebu. Setiap perlakuan diulang tiga kali. Tiga sampel dibuat untuk setiap perlakuan. Variabel yang diamati adalah kualitatif (karakteristik morfologi batang, daun dan mata tunas) dan kuantitatif (tinggi batang, jumlah daun, jumlah anakan, intensitas serangan penyakit dan gejala serangan). Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif, Anova, uji BNT pada taraf 5%, uji korelasi, uji heritabilitas dan nilai keragaman genetik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang nyata pada variabel tinggi batang, jumlah daun dan jumlah anakan. Tingkat serangan penyakit luka api belum muncul pada 11 klon, namun sudah menunjukkan gejala serangan. Nilai heritabilitas dan keragaman genetik dalam kategori tinggi tercatat untuk sifat tinggi batang (10,4%), jumlah anakan (78, 53%) dan dalam kategori agak rendah untuk sifat jumlah daun (3,37%).

Abstract

The phenomenon of the crisis of knowledge authority in the interpretation of the Qur'an in the digital era, especially due to misinformation spread through social media, presents significant epistemological challenges. This study aims to analyze the impact of this phenomenon on the legitimacy and verification of religious knowledge, by integrating the perspective of the philosophy of science that emphasizes scientific authority in the formation of valid knowledge. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical design through the integration of epistemological theory with the dynamics of the spread of interpretations on social media. This study identifies three main aspects: first, the disintermediation of information that reduces the role of scholars and academics in guarding the authority of interpretation knowledge; second, the role of social media algorithms that accelerate the spread of invalid interpretations, including extremist and discriminatory interpretations; and third, efforts to reconstruct epistemology through strengthening scientific verification and digital literacy. This article suggests the importance of reconstructing a more transparent and inclusive interpretation verification system and increasing digital literacy to overcome misinformation, thereby rebuilding the authority of valid religious knowledge. Thus, the philosophy of science provides an important theoretical framework for understanding the crisis of the authority of religious knowledge in the digital world, as well as providing direction for rebuilding public trust in authentic and moderate interpretations.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine the effect of computer knowledge on the effectiveness of teachers' work, (2) innovative attitudes affect the effectiveness of teachers' work, (3) computer knowledge and innovative attitudes jointly affect the effectiveness of teachers' work. Research respondents were teachers of SMPN Langgam Subdistrict, Pelalawan Regency, totaling 100 people with a sample of 89. The data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The instrument reliability coefficient was calculated using the Cronbach alpha formula. The results showed that there was a positive and significant effect of computer knowledge on teacher work effectiveness of 0.558, and there was a positive and significant influence of innovative attitudes on teacher work effectiveness of 0.525. Meanwhile, together there is the effect of computer knowledge and work motivation on the effectiveness of the teacher's work of 0.677.

Abstract

The city of Mataram, the capital of West Nusa Tenggara province, consists of 6 sub-districts and 50 sub-districts and has 28 public and private high schools. Lecturers and students of the Department of Chemistry, who are members of the community service team, on August 5th, 2023 carried out a workshop for chemistry and biology teachers in the City of Mataram. The title of the activity was "Application of Phytochemical Screening as a medium to increase the insight of Biology and Chemistry High School Teachers in Mataran City, NTB as an alternative implementation of Merdeka Belajar". The workshop was held at SMAN 5 Mataram City involving 51 chemistry and biology teachers as participants. The material provided includes Phytochemicals and the Chemdraw application. Both of these topics are given by lecturing and discussion and also complemented by practical activities. The successful of the activity is reflected in the increase in posttest scores compared to the pretest score. Evaluation of activities in the form of filling out the questionnaires by participants also reflected the participant satisfaction, in which the majority of participants gave positive answers to each question. Similar activities remain relevant and still need to be carried out, especially in areas outside Java to broaden teachers' insight

Abstract

National soybean production is not enough to meet the national demand for soybeans so there is a need to increase the production of this commodity because it is needed as a raw material for various processed products. The utilisation of dry land as soybean cultivation land is still lacking. This is due to several factors, namely cultivation techniques, and limited fertilisation. So the use of cultivation techniques by applying biocompost fertiliser is one approach to improve soil nutrients and also the use of Trichoderma spp. bacteria helps soybean plants to avoid wilt disease.  This study aims to determine the growth response of several varieties of soybean on dry land by applying biocompost fermented by Trichoderma spp. The method used in this research is an experimental method carried out by manipulating the object of research and the existence of controls. The research was conducted on dry land in Giri Tembesi Village, Gerung Sub-district, West Lombok Regency, the soil type of the experimental site was regusol soil with a pH of 5.7 and organic matter moisture content of 0.77%. The results showed that the application of biocompost to several varieties of soybean has not been able to spur plant growth but in general can adapt to dry land. Differences in soybean varieties resulted in significantly different growth responses in plant height, number of leaves, number of branches, flowering age and weight of 100 soybean seeds. However, there is no significant difference in the application of biocompost on the vegetative and generative growth of soybean in dryland which is thought to be caused by the dose of biocompost given is not optimal. Therefore, further research is needed to obtain the optimal dose of biocompost.
