Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) di era digital menimbulkan perubahan besar dalam kehidupan manusia. Perubahan yang ditimbulkan juga mempengaruhi keadaan psikologis dan perilaku individu, sehingga dibutuhkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dalam menghadapi perubahan tersebut. Kenyataannya, keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan mahasiswa terhadap bahan ajar pada mata kuliah psikologi Digital Kependidikan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif eksploratif. Sampel penelitian merupakan 54 orang mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Biologi Universitas Jambi yang diambil secara acak. Data diperoleh melalui angket analisis proses pembelajaran Psikologi Digital dan angket analisis kebutuhan terhadap buku ajar. Berdasarkan angket analisis proses pembelajaran diketahui bahwa mahasiswa kesulitan dalam mencari sumber belajar Psikologi Digital Kependidikan. Selanjutnya, ketika menemukan sumber belajar mereka merasa kesulitan dalam memahami sumber tersebut karena mayoritas menggunakan bahasa asing. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa membutuhkan bahan ajar yang dapat digunakan untuk memahami materi dan meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis.

Abstract

Background: Blended learning is a learning approach that combines face-to-face (synchronous) and non-face-to-face (asynchronous) learning. This learning approach has been implemented in various schools in Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency. However, in its implementation there are obstacles, one of which is the teacher's lack of knowledge in developing appropriate media that can be used in implementing blended learning. The aim of this service activity is to train the creation of e-learning media to support blended learning for MGMP Biology teachers throughout Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency. Method: The workshop and mentoring activities are carried out by delivering material, discussion and practice. Result: all activities run well. Every teacher can create e-learning media for their learning. Conclusion: as many as 100% of participants stated that PPM activities were very useful, and 93% of participants were committed to implementing the e-learning media developed in their learning process.

Abstract

Pembelajaran kolaboratif merupakan salah satu pendekatan yang sejalan dengan tuntutan Kurikulum Merdeka dalam  mengembangkan keterampilan kerja sama peserta didik. Namun, keberhasilan penerapannya dipengaruhi oleh kondisi awal dan preferensi peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran kolaboratif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kondisi awal pembelajaran kolaboratif sebagai dasar kajian preferensi peserta didik pada pembelajaran Biologi kelas X di SMA Negeri 3 Kota Jambi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi pendahuluan dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif melalui wawancara dengan guru Biologi kelas X dan observasi proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran kolaboratif telah diterapkan, namun pelaksanaannya belum berjalan optimal. Partisipasi peserta didik masih bervariasi, sebagian peserta didik aktif bekerja sama, sementara sebagian lainnya cenderung pasif, kurang percaya diri, dan bergantung pada teman yang lebih dominan. Kondisi ini menunjukkan perlunya kajian lebih lanjut mengenai preferensi peserta didik sebagai dasar perancangan strategi pembelajaran kolaboratif yang lebih adaptif.

Abstract

Education plays an important role in developing students’ thinking abilities as reflected in their learning outcomes. This research aims to examine the effect of the contextual teaching and learning (CTL) model on the students’ cognitive learning outcomes, which refer to conceptual understanding and cognitive thinking skills across Bloom’s taxonomy levels. This research employed a quasi-experimental design using a non-randomized control group pretest–posttest design. We involved two groups of senior high school students, each consisted of 30 students. The experiment group was taught using the CTL model, while the control group was taught using the problem-based learning (PBL) model. Data were collected through pretest and posttest instruments. The results showed that the experimental class achieved a higher mean posttest score (55.24) than the control class (36.27). One-Way ANCOVA analysis indicated that the CTL model had a significant effect in improving the students’ cognitive learning outcomes in Biology.

Abstract

This study aims to test the feasibility of a case study-oriented textbook in the course of educational digital psychology. This research is an R&D study using the ADDIE development model. The study was conducted on 2nd semester biology students in the Biology Education Study Program, University of Jambi. The instruments used were expert validation questionnaires, lecturer and student response questionnaires on the quality of the book. The data analysis techniques used were expert validity score tests and student response questionnaire scores. In the validity test, the results of the study showed that the developed textbook was very feasible to be used in learning activities with a percentage score of 95% in terms of material feasibility, and 90% in terms of media feasibility. So, from the results of the expert assessment, it can be concluded that the case study-oriented textbook in the Educational Digital Psychology course is very feasible to be used in learning activities.
