Abstract

Background: The Internet use according to Indonesian Internet Services Provider Association (APJII) can be an indicator for parents and educators to monitor students’ mental development and learning behaviors.Objective: This study aims to analyze trends and patterns of the Internet use among students during the school holidays.Methods: This study uses data from XYZ operator, one of the most affordable mobile service providers in Indonesia in 2019. The data was analyzed by using Online Analytical Processing (OLAP).Result: The results shows that the use of 3G and 4G data increased significantly during the school holidays, compared to school days. The highest increase of the Internet traffic is during the semester break, occurred at the rate of 22 to 24 hours a day, with the peak reaching 20.87% at 10:00.Conclusion: The research findings can inform relevant parties, both parents and school teachers in guiding their children to use the Internet.

Abstract

A business process is a structured collection of interrelated activities or work within an organization to produce a product or service. For the quality of products and services, of course, an effective and efficient business process is needed. So far, many business processes are still depicted in the form of still images in the form of flowcharts, because they do not know the notation called BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) which can create images of business processes as well as model them in a simulation. By using BPMN, the most effective and efficient business processes can be simulated to produce organizational products or services. This research implements BPI (Business Process Improvement) with lean management method, and DMAIC framework (Define, Measure, Analysis, Improve, Control). DMAIC is used for gradual improvement of business processes. The tools used to assist DMAIC in this research include the SIPOC diagram (Supplier, Input, Process, Output, Customer), identification of CTQ (Critical to Quality), measuring process capability using DPMO (Defects Per Million Opportunities), root cause analysis, then simulated using the Bizagi Modeler tool. From research on STAI Attanwir's business processes, it was found that out of 46 business processes there were 15 that experienced waste. Of the 7 types of waste, at STAI Attanwir there are 2 wastes that occur, namely waiting waste and movement waste. Of the 15 As-Is and To-Be business processes that experienced waste, after a simulation using BPI, the results showed that 12 business processes experienced significant changes in terms of time and resources. However, there are 3 business processes whose utilization level remains abnormal even though improvements have been made.

Abstract

Pusat Teknologi Informasi dan Pangkalan Data atau PUSTIPD merupakan unit kerja yang menangani tentang Teknologi Informasi di UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. Namun setiap pekerjaan yang dilakukan oleh unit kerja tersebut belum diatur dalam Standar Operasional Prosedur atau yang dikenal dengan SOP. Untuk itu, makalah ini dibuat untuk membuat desain tata kelola teknologi informasi berdasarkan standart ITIL Versi 3 dengan membahas lebih lanjut tentang domain service operation dengan mengambil konsep ramah lingkungan. Hasil yang didapat dari perhitungan domain service operation yaitu: sembilan sub proses dengan bobot 12 dan, satu sub proses dengan bobot 16. Satu sub proses dengan bobot tertinggi tersebut yaitu facilities and data centre management. Pembuatan desain tata kelola yang sudah sesuai dengan domain Service Operation memiliki sub proses facilities and data centre management yang didalamnya menyebutkan 9 komponen utama facilities management dan 7 faktor kunci data centre management yang 6 diantaranya diambil karena memiliki konsep green.

Abstract

State Islamic University of Sunan Ampel Surabaya (UINSA) implements integrated twin-towers learning model that combines Islamic scholarship with science, technology, social, and humanities. Through this learning model, the students of UINSA get courses on strengthening Islamic values regardless of their study program. Students are required to be independent in learning, including getting religious learning resources that can be accessed via the internet. However, religious information circulating on the internet is not always true and valid, so it affects on student behavior in accessing religious literacy in the digital world. This article aims to describe the level of religious digital literacy behavior on the students of UINSA and is observed based on demographic elements (gender, faculty and education background). The research method was carried out with quantitative approach where data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires referring to the UNESCO Media and Information Literacy Assessment Framework via online. The results of this research indicate that the level of student religious digital literacy behavior is on a advance level. However, in demographic element, it shows various digital literacy levels, there are those who get advanced and intermediate levels. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for university to develop digital religious literacy competencies among their students in the future.

Abstract

Dengan adanya kelalaian saat menggunakan fasilitas peralatan di dalamnya, menyebabkan Laboratorium Terintegrasi UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya berisiko kerusakan alat yang berakibat kerugian material atau kecelakaan, ditambah dengan kurang sigapnya pengurus dalam menangani risiko yang terjadi atau menyusun langkah pencegahan. Laboratorium Terintegrasi. Sehingga, adanya penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis manajemen risiko dengan berbasis ISO 31000 dengan harapan pihak pengurus Laboratorium Terintegrasi UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya dapat mempertimbangkan untuk menerapkan ISO 31000 demi meminimalisir resiko yang terjadi maupun mencegah risiko lain terjadi. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini sesuai pada ISO 31000, yaitu Identifikasi Risiko, Analalisis Risiko, Prioritas Risiko, dan Evaluasi Risiko. ISO 31000 sendiri yaitu framework yang diterbitkan International Organization for Standarization yang berisi pedoman untuk menerapkan manajemen risiko. Berdasaran hasil penelitian ini, ditemukan 12 jenis risiko yang 8 diantaranya tergolong risiko level tinggi (High), 3 level Sedang (Moderate), dan 1 level Rendah (Low). Kemudian dilakukan Pengurangan Risiko (Risk Reduction) sesuai dengan level, dimana semakin tinggi level risiko maka semakin kompleks dan rinci langkah penanganan yang diambil, dengan harapan risiko yang telah terjadi bisa diminimalisir.

Abstract

Online learning methods can indeed be an alternative solution to the pandemic situation, but that doesn't mean it's without risks. Cyber ​​risks can vary widely, ranging from cyberbullying, victimization, game addiction, privacy concerns, harmful content, and also eye health problems. These risks can cause serious problems, especially for children aged 5 to 12 years. One of the guidelines for the parental involvement model to assist the healthy use of information technology is ABC's. ABC is an acronym for Age-Appropriate Access, Balance, and Content Restricted. In the ABC's model, specific recommendations and examples are given on how to set boundaries so that the use of technology remains healthy and useful. On the other hand, the Digital Quotient (DQ) Institute provides a micro-certification system called the DQ Micro-Badge (DQ MB) which is listed in the IEEE 3527.1-2020 standard. DQ MB is used to assist in the assessment of a person's digital skills according to the Global Standards. This study measures the relationship between ABC's parenting method and the achievement of DQ MB Balanced Use of Technology. Respondents used are parents who have children aged kindergarten - elementary school in the city of Surabaya. From 379 respondents' data, it was analyzed and obtained the fact that parenting using ABC's approach is proven to affect the level of digital intelligence based on the DQ MB Balanced

Abstract

The implementation of e-government in Indonesia in 2018 changed its name to the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) in accordance with the PERPRES No. 95 of 2018. The implementation of SPBE in Indonesia in 2019 an evaluation was held in each region to find out the extent of the implementation of SPBE in each region in Indonesia. The SPBE evaluation produces an SPBE index which is used as a reference in knowing how far the implementation of the existing SPBE in the area. The high and low value of the SPBE index can be caused by various factors, in this study will discuss the comparison of factors and model factors that affect the performance of the SPBE application in the City of Surabaya and Mojokerto Regency. This study uses EFA analysis to determine the performance factor model in the application of SPBE. For the variables in this study using the results of mapping the Digital Service Provision System of System Framework by Samantha Papavasilou with PERMENPAN No. 59 of 2020 which resulted in 17 indicators. The results of this study Surabaya City and Mojokerto Regency have similarities in performance factors but the two regions have differences in performance factor characteristics where there are several performance factors that are superior to Surabaya City than Mojokerto Regency and vice versa. For the performance factor model, the EFA analysis produces 5 performance factors, namely SPBE regulation, digital literacy, IT infrastructure management, Human Resources and system location.

Abstract

Information technology (IT) is crucial for organizations to gain profits, maximize time and minimize costs. Dinas XYZ is a government agency located in East Java, aware of this and implementing IT in their daily operations. Because of this, measurement of IT governance is needed to determine the extent to which IT supports the operational activities of the XYZ Agency. There are 9 domains selected to determine the level of capability. The result is that seven domains are at level 2 namely lAPO01, lAPO02, lAPO04, lAPO08, lAPO10, lBAI02, and lDSS02. While the two domains, namely BAI01 and EDM02, are at level 1. The capability value obtained is 1.7, while the desired level is level 3. Therefore, there is a gap of 1.3. The XYZ Service can improve the level obtained to the desired level by implementing the recommendations provided.

Abstract

Iklim penelitian tentang tata kelola maupun audit teknologi informasi di Indonesia sejak lima tahun terakhir ini mulai marak. Sebut saja kerangka kerja Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies (COBIT), dan Capability Maturity Model Integration for Services (CMMI-SVC) yang dinyatakan sebagai kerangka kerja teknologi informasi (IT framework) yang paling banyak digunakan dan diterima di seluruh dunia, dan kini juga mulai banyak digunakan di Indonesia. Sekalipun pada kondisi lapangan hal ini terlihat nyata, namun hingga saat ini belum pernah ada analisa tentang statistika serta pebandingan data tentang penggunaan kerangka kerja teknologi informasi di Indonesia. Untuk itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tren pengguna framework TI meliputi: ITIL, COBIT, dan ISO 27001 di Indonesia pada rentang waktu tahun 2014-2018. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dari Google Scholar dengan menggunakan software web scraping bernama publish or perish. Dari hasil pengolahan data diperoleh informasi bahwa 79,54% penelitian tentang kerangka kerja teknologi informasi COBIT, ITIL, dan ISO 27001 dipublikasikan pada domain dalam negeri, sedangkan sisanya (20,46%) dipublikasikan pada domain luar negeri. Dan selama 2014 - 2018 penelitian tentang kerangka kerja COBIT sebanyak 67.19%, ITIL sebanyak 15.72%, dan ISO 27001 17.09%. Sedangkan secara tren, selama lima tahun terlihat bahwa COBIT memiliki tren jumlah penelitian yang naik, sedangkan ITIL dan ISO 27001 memiliki tren menurun.

Abstract

Sejak bertahun lalu, hasil tes IQ menjadi patokan untuk mengukur kecerdasan seseorang. IQ (Intellectual Quotient) sering diartikan sebagai kemampuan kognitif, bakat, intelektual, kemampuan berpikir, dan kemampuan menggunakan logika secara umum. Namun seiring perkembangan jaman, penelitian mengatakan bahwa EQ (Emotional Quotient) atau juga disebut dengan Emotional Intelligence lebih berpengaruh pada etos kerja dan kemampuan seseorang berbaur dengan tim. Sehingga istilah ini menjadi sangat populer dalam dunia kerja. Baik IQ maupun EQ memililki tool/alat ukurnya masing-masing. Sehingga seseorang dapat dikategorikan ke dalam rentang kurang, rata-rata, atau superior. Belakangan ini, dengan adanya disrupsi teknologi, muncul lagi istilah kecerdasan baru yang disebut dengan Digital Quotient (DQ) yang menunjukkan sebuah set kompetensi manusia terkait dunia digital. Menurut Digital Institute, DQ memiliki 8 variabel inti yaitu; Digital Identity, Digital Use, Digital Safety, Digital Security, Digital Emotional Intelligence, Digital Communication, Digital Literacy, dan Digital Right. Jika dahulu dunia digital hanya milik mereka yang berkecimpung di dunia teknologi dan informasi (segmented) maka saat ini tidak lagi. Semua orang mesti cerdas digital, karena jika tidak cerdas memahami situasi, bisa jadi diri mereka sendiri yang terugikan, misalkan terkait dengan keamanan data pribadi atau bahkan pencurian uang di rekening bank. Untuk itu perlu untuk membuat alat ukur guna mengetahui tingkat kecerdasan digital sebuah individu. Dalam penelitian ini alat ukur tersebut diberi nama DQ tool. Harapannya DQ tool yang dihasilkan mampu menggambarkan skor DQ yang seseorang saat tes dilakukan. Dari hasil pengujian terhadap 72 indikator dalam DQ tool, semua indikator dinyatakan valid. Namun ketika dilakukan uji reliabilitas, ada 6 area yang masih belum reliabel dan memerlukan penelitian lebih lanjut.
