Abstract

This study aims to develop teaching materials in the form of Student Worksheets (LKPD) based on Problem-Based Learning (PBL). To support its development, an initial review was conducted in several ways, namely literature review, observation and field research. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. Data collection instruments include teacher needs analysis interviews, which include curriculum and learning resources, and student needs analysis questionnaires. The results of this study will be used to design learning media in the form of PBL-based Indonesian Language LKPD. Analysis of needs is carried out to identify teaching materials used by teachers, obstacles that arise during the learning process, and materials needed by students. After the researcher conducted a needs analysis, of the 32 students in grade XI of SMA Negeri 8 Lubuk Linggau, 87.50% had a study guidebook. The reality in the field, as many as 90.63% of students stated that the material on the elements of poetry contained in the guidebook was often concise and did not cover more complex aspects. As many as 74.07% of the available textbooks are still incomplete to be used as learning resources. As many as 87.50% of students need learning media in the hope of supporting learning activities and 93.75% of students need other learning media that can increase interest and learning outcomes. This shows that the development of teaching materials in the form of PBL-based LKPD is very much needed to support a more effective learning process and improve students' understanding of the elements of poetry.

Abstract

Flooding is a natural phenomenon that frequently occurs in Indonesia, especially during the rainy season. In Sungai Penuh City, drainage blockage due to poor maintenance is also one of the causes of flooding. Drainage systems are often not well-maintained due to the government's budget constraints. Community participation in drainage maintenance activities is expected to serve as an alternative solution to minimize flood risks. Therefore, this study was conducted to examine the drainage management and maintenance system, the level of community participation in drainage maintenance activities, and recommended solutions to optimize community involvement in drainage maintenance. The study was conducted on JL. M. H. Thamrin, Simpang Tiga Rawang Village. The assessment indicators for community participation levels were based on the Indonesian Ministry of Public Works Regulation No. 12/Prt/M/2014 concerning the Implementation of Urban Drainage Systems. This research employed a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods. The qualitative method involved interviews with informants, while the quantitative method utilized a Likert-scale questionnaire assessment for 90 households. The results indicate that out of six assessment indicators, four show that community participation in drainage maintenance remains low (below 40%). However, two indicators demonstrate active community participation, namely the prevention of building construction over drainage channels (76.67%) and reporting information to the government (57.70%). The recommended alternative solutions to enhance community participation include increasing public education through socialization, enforcing regulations and sanctions, and encouraging local communities to actively mobilize residents in self-sustained drainage maintenance efforts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the need for digital comic teaching materials for Limatara folklore in an effort to increase reading interest in grade 7.6 students of SMPN 1 Sidoharjo. Generation Z, as today's students, requires learning media that suits their characteristics and learning styles. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant need for the development of teaching materials that are interesting, interactive, and relevant to the digital world. Digital comics are seen as effective media because they can be presented online via devices such as mobile phones, making them more practical and easier to access compared to printed teaching materials. By utilizing available technology, digital comics can increase students' motivation and interest in reading folklore materials, especially Limatara folklore. Therefore, the development of teaching materials in the form of digital comics is highly recommended as an innovative alternative in learning Indonesian.

Abstract

Penelusuran minat karier merupakan salah satu kegiatan yang dapat dilakukan untuk membantu siswa memahami potensi diri dan menentukan arah jalur pendidikan serta kariernya. Di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) “A”, banyak siswa menghadapi tantangan dalam memilih pendidikan atau karier yang sejalan dengan minat intrinsic. Tujuan Pengabdian ini untuk menganalisis implementasi tes RIASEC dalam mengidentifikasi minat karier siswa di sekolah menengah kejuruan. Desain Pengabdian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitaitf. Subjek Pengabdian sebanyak 40 siswa SMK yang terlibat dalam kegiatan dipilih melalui teknik convenience sampling dan diberikan tes RIASEC secara klasikal. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk mengidentifikasi pola minat karir. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa tipe Enterprising (E) merupakan yang paling dominan (32.5%), diikuti tipe Social (S) sebesar 25% dan Realistik (R) sebanyak 22.5%. Terdapat 29 kombinasi tipe minat yang dikategorikan dalam 14 kelompok berdasarkan interpretasi tes. Bidang kejuruan yang saat ini ditempuh siswa umumnya sesuai dengan tipe R. Siswa dengan tipe minat utama yang kurang sesuai dengan tuntutan teknis kejuruan saat ini perlu mendapat perhatian pihak sekolah dengan melakukan optimalisasi untuk bidang yang memerlukan pengelolaan tim atau pekerjaan terkait. Simpulan Pengabdian menunjukkan pelaksanaan tes minat RIASEC bagi siswa SMK “A” telah berjalan sesuai dengan tujuan.

Abstract

The heroism of Lembak ethnic folklore characters is a means of delivering effective character education because the values contained in folklore are very closely aligned with the norms that exist in society. This research aims to describe the perception of character education through the heroism of Lembak ethnic folklore characters in the form of the values of willingness to sacrifice (RB), never give up (PM), love of the homeland (CTA), and solidarity (KK). This study used a descriptive qualitative method. The data collection technique was carried out by carefully reading the entire Lembak ethnic folklore, understanding the sample on the research object, coding the data, compiling the results of the analysis, and making conclusions. Based on the results of the analysis, researchers found that the value of heroism, being willing to sacrifice, the value of never giving up, the value of love for one's country, and value of solidarity arises because of the feeling of affection towards someone by protecting, loyalty, working together and caring for friends, family, lovers, and other people to make it happen. strong solidarity. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the heroism of the characters in Lembak ethnic folklore, it will provide an overview of character education which can be used as a means of education in society.
