Abstract

This study aims to determine consumer perceptions of interest in buying rice at the Maros Modern Traditional Market (Tramo) in Turikale District, Maros Regency. The population in this study are all consumers who have shopped for rice at the Maros Modern Traditional Market (Tramo). The number of sources is 30 respondents using an accidental sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative. Data analysis uses the method of calculating percentages and intervals. The results showed that consumers' perceptions of interest in buying rice regarding the price variable were in the good perception category, this was due to the fact that the selling price was still within normal limits besides that there were also differences in characteristics between consumers on their buying interest. And regarding consumer perceptions of buying interest regarding the rice quality variable, it is in the good perception category. Because consumers feel that the rice being sold meets the requirements for good quality rice. As for consumer perceptions of buying interest regarding the variable infrastructure of Tramo Market, it is in the very good category. In general, rice consumers show a positive perception of infrastructure. This is reinforced by the large number of consumers who come from various places. And for consumer perceptions of interest in buying rice regarding market location it is in the good category because it is supported by a strategic location and is easily accessible to the public.

Abstract

The objectives to be achieved in this study are (1) To find out the income of feed corn farming to the income of farmer households in Sambueja Village, Maros Regency (2) To find out the contribution of feed corn farming to the income of farmer households in Sambueja Village, Simbang District, Maros Regency. This research was carried out in Sambueja Village, Simbang District, Maros Regency for 2 months, namely from May to June 2024. Based on data collected from the results of the survey with the help of questionnaires with field observations/observations. The data that has been collected is then tabulated to obtain data that can be used for analysis purposes. This study uses quantitative descriptive analysis to determine the income and contribution of feed corn farmers to the household income of farmers in Sambueja Village, Simbang District, Maros Regency. Research results. This can be known through data analysis using descriptive analysis with the formula of total cost, revenue, income, and contribution so that the study results were obtained, namely the average income of feed corn farmers in Sambueja Village, Simbang District is Rp. 25,208,000/family and feed corn farmers' income contribution to farmer households in Sambueja Village, Simbang District, Maros Regency is 90.24%.

Abstract

The The agricultural production risk is greater than non-agriculture risk because agriculture strongly affected by nature such as weather, pest, diseases, temperature, drought, and flooding. The increasing of production through technical efficiency is important to do. The technical efficiency of rice farming can be improved the support or efforts of efficient use of inputs technological innovation. The aim of this study is to analyze the risk of rice farming production in rainfed rice fields. Production risk is analyzed by determining the coefficient of variation. Production risk can be measured by the amount of variance and deviation standard. Technical efficiency is used to analyze the level of technical efficiency. The results showed that rice production risk in rainfed lowland rice in Allepolea Village was greater than the production risk in Bontoa Village and Mattirotasi Village. While for technical efficiency in Mattirotasi Village, it’s more technically efficient for rainfed lowland rice farming than in Bontoa Village and Allepolea Village, Maros Regency.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the added value of processed cocoa bean products in chocolate bars and powder at CV. Putra Mataram, Poolewali Mandar Regency. This research was conducted at CV. Putra Mataram, Polewali Mandar Regency in July to August 2022. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The data were analyzed by the Hayami method. The results showed the added value obtained by CV. Putra Mataram from processing cocoa beans into chocolate bars and cocoa powder for one production, which is IDR. 527,640, with details for chocolate bars of IDR. 406,640 and cocoa powder for IDR. 121,000. The added value and benefits obtained by CV. Putra Mataram from the processing of cocoa beans is larger than chocolate bars compared to cocoa powder. Therefore chocolate bars need to be prioritized to produce larger quantities to increase profits.
