Abstract

When a person's income is so low that it cannot cover even the most basic living expenses, they are said to be poor. Data on poverty levels and hypothesized causes are used in this study. If the data pattern forms clusters, one of the regression analyses that can be used is Clusterwise Linear Regression (CLR). Therefore, this study aimed to determine the poverty rate modeling in Indonesia with the CLR method. The results showed that the best model is with 3 clusters, that for cluster 1, the factors that significantly affect the percentage of poverty are the percentage of electricity users , the number of small and micro industries and the number of tourist villages n cluster 2, the amount of village tours . In cluster 3, the percentage of users of electricity and the percentage of villages that have mining and quarrying .

Abstract

The percentage of poor people in Bengkulu Province is high from year to year. The poverty rate in Bengkulu Province also tends to fluctuate. If there is a decrease in the poverty rate, the decrease is relatively small. Poverty in the regions of Bengkulu Province also varies from district to district, subdistrict, and village to village, because poverty data is spatial data that varies regionally. The diversity of poverty data in Bengkulu Province is influenced by spatial effects, namely spatial dependency and spatial heterogeneity. Spatial dependency occurs due to spatial error correlation in cross section data, while spatial heterogeneity occurs due to random area effects, which is the difference between one region and another. Therefore, classical methods are not qualified enough to analyze the resulting diversity. This research will model the poverty of each district/city in Bengkulu Province using Mixed Geographically Weighted Regression (MGWR), because this method is quite complex in modeling data that contains spatial heterogeneity and variations in geospatial data. This modeling aims to identify and analyze poverty indicators in Bengkulu Province spatially, namely based on poverty data in each district/city in Bengkulu Province. The results showed that by using the MGWR method, the variables that locally influence the percentage of extreme poor people in each district/city in Bengkulu Province are Female Household Head Gender and not having a waterheater . Meanwhile, the variable that has a global effect on the percentage of the extreme poor in each district/city in Bengkulu Province is not having a flat screen television ().

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat baca dan literasi anak-anak di Desa Rindu Hati dengan memanfaatkan platform BUDI (Buku Digital) Kemdikbud. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendampingan untuk membentuk komunitas literasi di desa tersebut, dengan tahapan kegiatan meliputi persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa anak-anak Desa Rindu Hati mampu memahami dan menjawab pertanyaan dari cerita yang diambil dari platform BUDI, menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan literasi dan berpikir kritis. Kegiatan ini mendapat dukungan positif dari perangkat desa dan antusiasme tinggi dari anak-anak, yang sangat terlibat dalam setiap sesi. Warga desa juga berharap kegiatan serupa dapat sering dilakukan di masa mendatang untuk terus mendorong minat baca dan meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia di desa. Kesimpulannya, pemanfaatan platform BUDI Kemdikbud berhasil meningkatkan literasi anak-anak Desa Rindu Hati dan memberikan dampak positif jangka panjang. Disarankan untuk meningkatkan frekuensi kegiatan, melibatkan lebih banyak pihak, mengembangkan konten yang lebih bervariasi, dan meningkatkan aksesibilitas terhadap teknologi untuk memperkuat gerakan literasi di masa mendatang.

Abstract

Earthquakes are natural events whose time and place cannot be predicted. Ambon is the largest city in the Maluku Islands region and is the center of development and the capital of Maluku Province. This research will group earthquake events, analyze the characteristics of earthquake events, create earthquake zones and map them using CLARA cluster analysis, and create modeling that will look at the risk of earthquake events in a location based on distance to faults and subduction zones using the Inhomogeneous Neyman-Scott Cox Process. The data used is data on earthquake events in the Ambon region obtained from the United States Geological Survey (USGS) catalog from January 1926 to December 2022, with a depth of ≤360.1 Km and a magnitude of ≥4 Mw. Grouping earthquake events in the Ambon area using CLARA cluster analysis obtained 2 groups of earthquake clusters with an optimal silhouette score of 0.7430. The model obtained in this earthquake research is not good because it is based on the K-function value plot of the original data which is far from the modeling K-function value plot.

Abstract

Dalam pembangunan desa tentunya diperlukan pengetahuan terkait dengan potensi desa yang dimiliki. Pengembangan potensi desa dapat dilakukan dengan penggalian data awal serta pengumpulan data untuk pemetaan potensi desa. Sayangnya, sering kali terdapat desa yang memiliki sumber daya dengan kompetensi yang masih belum memadai sehingga di perlukannya peningkatan kompetensi perangkat desa tentang pengumpulan dan pemanfaatan data. Program studi S1 Statistika dan Pojok Statistik Universitas Bengkulu bermitra bersama BPS melakukan pengembangan peningkatan kompetensi terhadap perangkat desa dengan melakukan pengabdian Desa Cantik yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan perangkat desa dalam memanfaatkan data. Pengabdian ini dilakukan pada Kelurahan Tanah Panah Kota Bengkulu. Melalui pengabdian ini, diharapkan pihak terkait dapat memanfaatkan data yang ada. Hasil dari pengabdian ini mampu memberikan pemahaman terkait dengan pemanfaatan data desa serta pengolahan data Microsoft excel dan Canva. Dimana perangkat desa mengetahui tipe-tipe data dan pengaplikasiannya dalam memvisualisasi data pada Microsoft Excel, mengetahui fitur-fitur pada canva yang dapat digunakan pada elemen-elemen infografis. Sebagai rekomendasi bentuk kegiatan pengabdian Desa Cantik patut dilakukan untuk desa-desa yang lain untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dalam memanfaatkan data-data desa.

Abstract

Exports are the delivery of goods and services sold by residents of one country to residents of another country to obtain foreign currency from the purchasing country. TThe aim of the research is to find out the best model produced and compare the ARIMA Box-Jenskins method with the ARIMA Ensemble for forecasting monthly export value (millions of $) in Bengkulu province from January 2010 – December 2021. The data was analyzed using the ARIMA Box-Jenskins method with ARIMA Ensemble. The ARIMA method is a time series forecasting technique, using past values ​​of the dependent variable to make accurate short-term forecasts. ARIMA ensemble is a combination of forecast results from several ARIMA models which can be used to combine the output of different forecast results from ensemble members, namely ensemble averaging and ensemble stacking. From data processing, it was obtained that the best model used to predict the export value of Bengkulu province for the period January 2021 to December 2021 is the ARIMA(3,1,1) model because it has the smallest RMSE value, namely 6.242145 with the predicted value results for the next 12 periods.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menyoroti rendahnya pemahaman dalam pengolahan data di kelas 12 jurusan PPLG SMKN 1 Kota Bengkulu, yang menjadi hambatan dalam pengembangan perangkat lunak dan gim. Dengan tujuan meningkatkan keseimbangan dalam pengembangan tersebut, penelitian dilakukan melalui pengenalan statistika menggunakan program R. Metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas diterapkan dalam satu hari pada 12 September 2023, dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner dan tes. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa 97,1% siswa menganggap program R mudah dimengerti, 100% merasa mudah digunakan untuk perhitungan statistik, 94,3% menyatakan output mudah dipahami, dan 100% siswa mampu memahami materi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik kuantitatif, dengan uji t berpasangan menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan (). Dengan demikian, Upaya Pemanfaatan Teknologi (Program R) dalam Pengenalan Statistika di SMK Negeri 1 Kota Bengkulu memberikan manfaat dan peningkatan pengetahuan pada taraf signifikansi 0,05.

Abstract

Permasalahan sampah di Kota Bengkulu merupakan masalah klasik dan krusial yang belum ada solusinya. Padahal, masalah ini sudah berimbas pada berbagai aspek kehidupan seperti kesehatan, ekonomi, pariwisata, kebencanaan dan lain sebagainya. Salah satu penyebab belum teratasinya masalah sampah ini berkaitan dengan budaya dan karakter masyarakat yang belum peduli terhadap sampah dan efeknya terhadap lingkungan. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk menumbuhkan budaya dan karakter peduli lingkungan adalah melalui pemberian dan peningkatan literasi lingkungan sejak dini. Pemahaman tentang pengelolaan sampah sudah mulai dilakukan di SD Negeri 02 Kota Bengkulu, namun pandemi Covid-19 yang melanda 2 tahun terakhir telah merubah tatanan dalam penerapan program pengelolaan sampah. Saat ini, untuk melakukan penerapan terkait pemahaman peduli lingkungan, pihak sekolah memiliki keterbatasan pada belum terintegrasinya tema khusus literasi lingkungan pada kurikulum. Disamping itu, terdapat tiga angkatan yang belum mendapatkan pemahaman terkait peduli lingkungan. Berdasarkan permasalahan ada, dua masalah utama yang ditemukan, yaitu (1) metode penyampaian dan penerapan materi peduli lingkungan yang aktif, interaktif, menarik serta mudah dipahami oleh siswa kelas III SD, (2) kekurangan fasilitas bank sampah dengan pemisah jenis serta pengelolaan sampah menjadi barang yang bernilai guna. Kedua permasalahan ini dapat diselesaikan dengan menerapkan sains teknologi masyarakat melalui penyediaan media pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif menggunakan video animasi edukasi, poster-poster dengan ilustrasi yang menarik, penyediaan bank sampah, dan pendampingan pemanfaatan sampah.

Abstract

As the capital of Bengkulu Province, Bengkulu City is located not far from the coast, so most community activities are also located around the coastal area, including schools, both elementary and high schools. Bengkulu City is prone to earthquakes and tsunamis, so disaster preparedness is very needed from an early age through earthquake and tsunami disaster literacy training in order to reduce the impact of these disasters. This community service activity carries the theme of disaster literacy using the application of science and technology, including the creation of interesting animated videos, the use of drones for making evacuation route maps, and pocketbooks that are easily understood by students of SD Negeri 2 Bengkulu City. Based on the results of the paired data t-test for evaluation used to pretest and posttest scores, it was found that the earthquake and tsunami disaster literacy training had a significant effect on the knowledge and understanding of third-grade students of SDN 2 Bengkulu City.

Abstract

A method that can be used if there is a spatial factor and if overdispersion happens in a count data is Geographically Weighted Zero-Inflated Poisson Regression (GWZIPR). This research aimed to analyze the number of malaria cases in every regency/city of Sumatra Land using the GWZIPR method and distribution mapping of factors affecting the number of malaria cases in Sumatra Land. Data involved in this research was the number of malaria cases as the response variable and the predictor variable as a percentage of households that have access to proper sanitation, a percentage of households that have access to proper water resources, and a percentage of the number of public health centers. The results were for each area which had distinctive models based on significant variables. The distribution mapping of factors affecting the number of malaria cases in every regency/city was commonly divided into three groups based on significant variables on ln and logit models. The mapping did not shape a spreading pattern or each regency/city in that group because the geographical locations were close to each other. GWZIPR method in this research was better than the ZIP Regression method because it produced the least AIC value.
