Abstract

The condition in which the mother works is one of the conditions that inhibits breastfeeding. In order for women to work, they can still provide breast milk, so milking and storage are needed. The storage process can preserve breast milk for some time. The existence of a long treatment of breast milk storage is suspected to cause physical changes and chemical composition. Based on several research results, it can be concluded that the duration of breast milk storage both in the refrigerator and freezer will affect the amount of fat and protein content in breast milk. The cause of fat damage is divided into three groups, namely damage due to oxidation, the presence of enzymes, and fat hydrolysis reaction. Changes in protein levels of breast milk during storage may be caused by the process of proteolysis and protein denaturation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to research pregnant woman research on anemia with pregnant women using substance tablets at the Sengkol Health Center, Central Lombok District. This research method is an observational study using a cross sectional study, using a questionnaire conducted in March-April 2019 as pregnant women with anemia, samples taken with simple random sampling from 30 respondents, data analysis using univariate analysis, bivariate analysis using chi square. The results of this study were obtained by respondents who had the highest knowledge from mothers who knew about anemia, 27 respondents (90%), and those who did not know about anemia were 3 respondents (10%). Respondents who used tablets using substances were 23 respondents (76.7%), and those who used iron were 7 respondents (23.3%). the results of the analysis using chi-square obtained a relationship associated with the level of knowledge of pregnant women in consuming p-value tablets <? (0.05). Where the value of p = 0.009 because the value of p < ? (0.05). The conclusion is the relationship between the level of knowledge of pregnant women about anemia with the contribution of pregnant substance tablets at the Sengkol Health Center.

Abstract

The problem that can arise in the puerperium and lactation is breast swelling. The impact of breast swelling is a feeling of discomfort in the breast-shaped mother, hardened breasts, fever, the baby is difficult to suck the breasts, mastitis, and breast abscesses. Breast is needed. Some non-pharmacological treatments can be done, one of which is by giving a cabbage leaf compress. This study is a comparative literature that attempts to discuss the comparison of cabbage leaf compresses against breast swelling in postpartum mothers. The results of a review of 6 studies prove that cabbage leaf compresses are effective in reducing breast swelling. This is caused by cabbage leaves containing the amino acid methionine which functions as an antibiotic and other ingredients such as sinigrin (Allylisothiocyanate), mustard oil, magnesium, sulfur heteroside oxides which can help widen the body to absorb the fluid that is blocked in the breast can reduce breast swelling.

Abstract

Persentase wanita usia 30-49 tahun di Indonesia yang mengalami menopause sebesar 16,1%. Wanita menopause akan mengalami penurunan jumlah estrogen yang disebabkan atropi ovarium sehingga menyebabkan berbagai gejala. Pemanfaatan bahan-bahan alami sangat diperlukan sebagai salah satu alternatif pengganti TSH. Salah satu tanaman yang mengandung isoflavon yang tinggi adalah kedelai. Beberapa hasil penlitian menunjukkan produk olahan kedelai mampu mengurangi gejala pada wanita menopause, diantaranya mengurangi gejala hot flashes, gejala somatic, dan psikologikal. Hal ini disebabkan isoflavon pada kedelai mampu berikatan dengan reseptor estrogen.

Abstract

The puerperal period is the return of the reproductive organs as before pregnancy within six weeks after giving birth. The puerperal infection is a problem that often occurs during the puerperium, one of which is caused by a birth canal injury. Wound healing can be done conventionally or with complementary therapy. Complementary therapy is also known as traditional medicine or herbal medicine for health and effectiveness. This study is a discussion that attempts to complete the use of herbs in healing perineal wounds. The literary method in this article is to collect journals related to plants used to heal perineal wounds. The results of a review of 5 studies show that some plants such as aloe vera, cinnamon, red betel leaf, gotu kola leaf, and green tea leaves can be used as an alternative to healing perineal wounds.

Abstract

ABSTRAK : ANALISIS PROKSIMAT DAN FITOKIMIA TEPUNG DAUN KELOR SEBAGAI UPAYA MEMPERBANYAK ASI Latar belakang: Angka Kematian Bayi (AKB) di Indonesia masih tinggi, dimana sebagian besar disebabkan oleh faktor nutrisi. Beberapa penyakit yang timbul akibat malnutrisi antara lain pneumonia, diare, dan perinatal. Pemberian Air Susu Ibu (ASI) eksklusif mampu menurunkan angka kesakitan dan kematian bayi. Alasan yang paling sering ditemukan pada ibu menyusui yang menghentikan pemberian ASI yaitu karena produksi ASI yang kurang. Pemanfaatan tanaman/sayuran yang berfungsi sebagai  galaktogogue dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif untuk meningkatkan  produksi  ASI. Daun kelor merupakan salah satu tanaman yang sering digunakan masyarakat untuk meningkatkan produksi ASI. Pemanfaatan tepung daun kelor dalam bentuk puding dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif untuk mengatasi permasalahan ketidakseimbangan nutrisi yang dihadapi oleh sebagian besar ibu menyusui untuk meningkatkan produksi ASI.Tujuan:Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengidentifikasi kandungan kadar air, kadar abu, protein, lemak, dan karbohidrat. Melakukan skrinng fitokimia pada tepung daun kelor.Metode: Metode dalam penelitian ini yaitumelakukan uji laboratorium  pada tepung daun kelor sebanyak 100 gram. Melakukan analisis proksimat pada tepung daun kelor meliputi kadar air, kadar abu, protein, lemak, dan karbohidrat. Melakukan skrining fitokimia pada tepung daun kelor untuk mengetahui kadar alkaloid dan steroid pada tepung daun kelorHasil: Hasil analisis kandungan proksimat diperoleh hasil kadar protein 22,08%, kadar lemak 5,90%, kadar air 1,11%,kadar abu 9,78%, kadar karbohidrat 61,13%. Hasil skrining fitokimia didapatkan tepung daun kelor memiliki kandungan alkaloid, steroid, dan terpenoid.Simpulan:Pemanfaatan tepung daun kelor merupakan salah satu alternatif yang dapat digunakan sebagai bahan dasar puding untuk mengatasi masalah produksi ASI yang kurang.Saran:Peneliti selanjutnya disarankan dapat melakukan penelitian terkait inovasi pengembangan pengolahan daun kelor terhadap kelancaran ASI yang langsung diaplikasikan pada ibu-ibu menyusui untuk mencegah kegagalan pemberian ASI eksklusif karena produksi ASI kurang. Kata Kunci: Analisis proksimat dan fitokimia, Tepung Daun kelor, Produksi ASI ABSTRACT Background: The Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) in Indonesia is still high, most of which is caused by nutritional factors. Some diseases that arise due to malnutrition include pneumonia, diarrhea and perinatal. Providing exclusive breast milk (ASI) can reduce infant morbidity and mortality. The most common reason found in breastfeeding mothers who stop breastfeeding is due to insufficient milk production. The use of plants/vegetables that function as galactogogues can be used as an alternative to increase breast milk production. Moringa leaves are one of the plants that people often use to increase breast milk production. Utilizing Moringa leaf flour in the form of pudding can be an alternative to overcome the problem of nutritional imbalance faced by most breastfeeding mothers to increase breast milk production.Objective: The aim of this research is to identify the water content, ash content, protein, fat and carbohydrates. Carrying out phytochemical screening on Moringa leaf flour.Method: The method in this research is to carry out laboratory tests on 100 grams of Moringa leaf flour. Carrying out proximate analysis of Moringa leaf flour includes water content, ash content, protein, fat and carbohydrates. Carry out phytochemical screening on Moringa leaf flour to determine the levels of alkaloids and steroids in Moringa leaf flour.Results: The results of the proximate content analysis showed that the protein content was 22.08%, the fat content was 5.90%, the water content was 1.11%, the ash content was 9.78%, and the carbohydrate content was 61.13%. The results of phytochemical screening showed that Moringa leaf flour contains alkaloids, steroids and terpenoids.Conclusion: The use of Moringa leaf flour is an alternative that can be used as a base for pudding to overcome the problem of insufficient breast milk production.Suggestion : Further researchers are advised to carry out research related to innovations in developing Moringa leaf processing for smooth breastfeeding which can be directly applied to breastfeeding mothers to prevent failure in exclusive breastfeeding due to insufficient breast milk production. Keywords: Breast Milk Production, Moringa Leaf Flour , Proximate and phytochemical analysis

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Jumlah wanita di dunia yang memasuki klimakteium diperkirakan mengalami peningkatan. Wanita menopause akan mengalami penurunan jumlah estrogen sehingga menimbulkan berbagai ketidaknyamanan. Salah satu solusi untuk mengatasi keluhan tersebut adalah TSH, tetapi memiliki kontraindikasi absolut. Oleh karena itu, perlu ada alternatif lain, yaitu dengan pemanfaatan kedelai dan produk olahannyaTujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang pemanfaatan kedelai dan produk olahannya sebagai upaya mengurangi ketidaknyaman pada wanita perimenopause.Metode:  Metode penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif (deskriprif). Sampel yang digunakan adalah semua wanita yang memasuki masa perimenopause di Kelurahan Jempong Baru sebanyak 123 orang. Data dianalisis secara univariat.Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar (80,5%) wanita perimenopause tidak memanfaatkan kedelai sebagai upaya mengurangi ketidaknyamanan pada masa perimenopause dan mayoritas responden (39,1%) menyukai biskuit selama masa perimenopauseKesimpulan: Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah kebanyakan wanita perimenopause tidak menggunakan kedelai dan produk olahannya sebagai tata laksana keluhan masa perimenopause. Saran: Disarankan kepada wanita yang memasuki usia perimenopause untuk mengonsumsi kedelai dan produk olahannya seperti susu kedelai, tahu, dan tempe sebagai upaya mengurangi ketidaknyamanan pada masa perimenopause. Kata Kunci : Kedelai, Ketidaknyamanan, Perimenopause ABSTRACT Background:  The number of women in the world entering the climax is expected to increase. Menopausal women will experience a decrease in the amount of estrogen, causing various discomforts. One solution to overcome these complaints is TSH, but it has absolute contraindications. Therefore, there needs to be another alternative, namely the use of soybeans and their processed products.Purpose:  The purpose of this study was to obtain an overview of the use of soy and its processed products as an effort to reduce discomfort in perimenopausal womenMethods:  The sample used was all women who entered the perimenopause period in Jempong Baru Village as many as 123 people. Data were analyzed univariately.Results: The results showed that most (80.5%) perimenopausal women did not use soy as an effort to reduce discomfort during perimenopause and the majority of respondents (39.1%) liked biscuits during perimenopause. Conclusion: The conclusion in this study is that most perimenopausal women do not use soy and its processed products as a treatment for perimenopausal complaints.Suggestions: It is recommended to women who enter the age of perimenopause to consume soy and its processed products such as soy milk, tofu, and tempeh as an effort to reduce discomfort during perimenopause. Keywords: Soy, Discomfort, Perimenopause
