Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis strategi pendidikan dasar di Bengkayang serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penerapan strategi pembelajaran pendidikan dasar. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode studi kasus. Pengumpulan data yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan wawacara, studi literatur, observasi dan angket. Subjek penelitian adalah guru SD di sekolah dasar dengan tingkat akreditasi yang berbeda di wilayah Bengkayang, yakni SDN 2 Sungai Betung, SDN 2 Bengkayang, SDN 12 Sengkabang dan SDN 11 Kelampe. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ke 4 SD tersebut belum dapat menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi, selain itu juga diperoleh data bahwa pengenalan dan penggunaan model pembelajaran masih sangat minim. Melalui hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa ada 3 faktor yang menyebabkan rendahnya penggunaan teknologi dan model dalam proses belajar yakni kompetensi guru, iklim sekolah, dan fasilitas di mana ke tiga faktor tersebut saling berkaitan satu sengan yang lain. Sedangkan tingkat akreditasi sekolah pada kenyataannya tidak menjadi faktor pendorong penerapan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi

Abstract

The selection process of a coaching model should be an initial consideration before conducting training activities. However, the limited availability of coaching models hinders the delivery of quality training programs. Therefore, it is necessary to have options for coaching models. This research aims to develop a goal, actual, alternative, plan, action, monitoring, and reflection based on blended learning (GAARANTUNG) a coaching model rooted in goal, reality, option, will (GROW) with the addition of action, monitoring, and reflection elements based on blended learning. The development of this coaching model is conducted by adopting the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE) research and development concept, which involves three main steps: analysis, design, and development. The results of this research include the availability of a coaching model that meets the needs, including the incorporation of technological elements within GAARANTUNG. The GAARANTUNG coaching model is the improved version of the GROW coaching model, which only focuses on action planning, and the goal, reality, option, will-monitoring, evaluation (GROW-ME) coaching model, which lacks a description of coaching during action and does not include digital technology elements. The refinement of the syntax in GROW and GROW-ME to form GAARANTUNG is a crucial step in providing a coaching model that aligns with the needs and facilitates the implementation of training programs, specifically targeting the main needs of participants, including teachers and school principals.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemahaman konsep dasar matematika mahasiswa di wilayah perbatasan Indonesia – Malaysia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini merupakan 64 mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar pada perguruan tinggi swasta yang berada di Kabupaten Bengkayang, Kalimantan Barat, Indonesia, tepatnya di wilayah perbatasan Indonesia – Malaysia. Tahapan penelitian ini meliputi 1) penyiapan instrumen penelitian; 2) validasi instrumen penelitian; 3) pembelajaran di kelas; 4) pengambilan data penelitian; dan 5) analisis data. Data dikumpulkan melalui instrumen tes yang berkaitan dengan kemampuan pemahaman konsep dasar matematika mahasiswa sebanyak 5 butir soal yang berbentuk esai. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistika yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini memuat 3 aspek yang terdiri dari 1) pemahaman Konsep dasar matematika mahasiswa dikaji dari pengetahuan faktual, pengetahuan konseptual, dan pengetahuan prosedural; 2) kesulitan mahasiswa dalam memahami Konsep dasar matematika yang memuat proses memahami permasalahan, menggunakan bilangan matematika, mengimplementasikan strategi penyelesaian masalah, dan menginterpretasikan hasil pemecahan masalah; dan 3) kesiapan dan tantangan sebagai calon guru sekolah dasar dalam memberikan pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Di wilayah perbatasan Indonesia-Malaysia, khususnya di Kabupaten Bengkayang, Kalimantan Barat, terdapat berbagai tantangan dalam mengimplementasikan pembelajaran STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) di sekolah dasar. Tantangan tersebut meliputi keterbatasan dalam penguasaan teknologi serta kurangnya pengalaman dalam menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis praktik. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan kepada 60 guru sekolah dasar dalam memahami dan mengimplementasikan pembelajaran STEM berbasis robotic yang berfokus pada pelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar. Metode pendampingan yang digunakan adalah GAARANTUNG Coaching Model, yang mencakup tujuh tahap utama: Goal (penetapan tujuan), Aktual (analisis kondisi saat ini), Alternatif (pengembangan opsi tindakan), Rencana (perumusan rencana), Aksi (implementasi), Monitoring (pemantauan), dan Tindak Lanjut (evaluasi dan perbaikan). Hasil pendampingan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan guru terkait implementasi STEM di sekolah dasar serta kemampuan mereka untuk melakukan praktik langsung pembelajaran berbasis robotik. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran di wilayah perbatasan, dengan memanfaatkan teknologi robotik untuk mengembangkan keterampilan STEM siswa secara lebih efektif.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the "Merdeka Belajar, Kampus Merdeka" (MBKM) policy for students in border areas. The problems that exist in border areas are analyzed through descriptive qualitative case studies. The main data sources for this research were obtained through surveys and interviews. Questionnaires and instructions for surveys were given to respondents, namely students. Data were collected through interviews and documentation; triangulation to ensure data validity; and data were analyzed through reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study revealed that the target of the MBKM policy for 36 students is the effectiveness of the MBKM policy in border areas is considered not entirely appropriate.  The results obtained are not the right policy, not the right implementation, not the right target, and not the right environment.  With the existence of the MBKM policy, students have not received and understood the benefits, namely the MBKM policy has been socialized but students have not understood it well, not yet appropriate implementation, that the government has established the MBKM policy, but it is not in accordance with the conditions of universities in border areas. Not yet on target, that education equity has not yet reached the target. Not yet appropriate environment, that the MBKM policy has not provided information related to educational development in border areas.

Abstract

This research explores how Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) has been applied within the Indonesian context. Employing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, the study involves identifying, examining, critically evaluating, and interpreting scholarly articles from multiple perspectives. The data set comprises 15 peer-reviewed international publications from the Scopus database through the Publish or Perish tool, covering 2005 to 2022. These articles originate from various countries, including Indonesia, the Netherlands, Vietnam, Turkey, Greece, Norway, the United States, and Italy. The study examines the application of RME across different nations, focusing on Indonesia, and identifies the key elements that facilitate its implementation. Findings indicate that the integration of RME in Indonesia contributes to improving students’ conceptual understanding.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to further examine the strategies used by primary schools in Bengkayang, a border area, in developing the concept of digital economy through the Pelajar Pancasila Profile in the dimension of critical reasoning. This research is an exploratory study with a qualitative approach. The research subjects consist of three primary schools in the border area with different accreditation levels: A, B, and C accreditation. Four teachers were selected from each school, making a total of 12 teacher respondents in this study. The data collection includes interviews, open questionnaires, observations, and literature review. The results of this study show that the concept of digital economy is still unstructured, which can be seen from the fact that the teaching materials used have not been constructed comprehensively. The limitations of understanding related to the concept of the digital economy in elementary schools have not been fully mastered by teachers, so it also has an impact on student understanding. Such conditions encourage the need for training, especially in designing teaching materials and assessments that can accommodate this need. In addition, schools also need to support the improvisation of teaching materials so that they do not depend on the textbooks.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan kedisiplinan guru SDN Wulungsari melalui pemberian penghargaan dalam mengerjakan administrasi kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru kelas I s/d VI di SDN Wulungsari Kec. Selomerto Kab. Wonosobo. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah (PTS). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan dokumentasi. Selanjutnya data yang telah diperoleh dianalis dengan teknik analisis interaktif dari model Miles dan Huberman, yakni pengumpulan data, reduksi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa data awal kegiatan penilaian pengerjaan administrasi guru kelas I s/d VI mencapai skor rata-rata 29,33 dengan kategori gagal. Setelah dilaksanakan pembinaan dan program pemberian penghargaan untuk mengerjakan administrasi kelas tahap berikutnya diperoleh hasil skor rata-rata 74 dengan kategori baik. Kondisi tersebut menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan yang signifikan dalam hal kedisplinan, terbukti pada kondisi awal banyak guru yang lalai atau malas mengerjakan administrasi kelas sehingga hasilnya termasuk ke dalam kategori gagal. Setelah diberikan perlakuan yakni pembinaan dan program pemberian penghargaan pada guru yang dapat menyelesaikan administrasi kelas dengan baik, maka guru yang lainpun mulai disiplin dalam mengerjakan administrasi kelas. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian penghargaan mampu meningkatkan kedisiplinan guru dalam mengerjakan administrasi kelas.

Abstract

Teknologi berkembang pesat dan diantaranya diterapkan di bidang pendidikan. Namun, faktanya masih banyak guru yang belum mampu mengimplementasikan teknologi dan media pembelajaran digital dalam pembelajaran di kelas. Augmented reality menjadi salah satu alternatif media pembelajaran untuk diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pemanfaatan augmented reality dalam pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar. Analisis dilakukan dengan pendekatan penelitian scoping review dengan batasan pada hasil artikel yang dipublikasikan selama 3 tahun terakhir. Tahap scoping review menggunakan kerangka Aksey dan O'Malley. Artikel diambil dari hasil publikasi artikel pada Jurnal Terindeks SINTA dengan kata kunci “Augmented Reality” ATAU “Pembelajaran Matematika” ATAU “Sekolah Dasar”. Hasil eksplorasi dianalisis menggunakan kerangka Preferred for Reporting of Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA). Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa augmented reality dapat diimplementasikan untuk pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar mengacu pada karakteristik augmented reality yang diadaptasi pada gaya belajar siswa sekolah dasar, tantangan penerapan augmented reality, dan dampak belajar siswa. Technology is developing rapidly and some of it is being applied in the field of education. However, the fact is that there are still many teachers who are not able to implement digital learning technology and media in classroom learning. Augmented reality is then an alternative learning media that can be implemented in learning mathematics in elementary schools. This study aims to analyze the use of augmented reality in learning mathematics in elementary schools. The analysis was carried out using a scoping review research approach with limitations on the results of published articles for the last 3 years. The scoping review stage used Aksey and O'Malley's framework. The articles were taken from the results of article publication in the National Science and Technology Index Indexed Journal (SINTA) using the keywords "Augmented Reality" OR "Mathematics Learning" OR "Elementary School". The outcomes of this exploration were then analyzed using the Preferred for Reporting of Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) framework. The result of this study stated that augmented reality can be implemented for mathematics learning in elementary schools referring to the characteristics of adapted augmented reality on the learning styles of elementary school students, the challenges of implementing augmented reality, and the students' learning impacts.

Abstract

The Internal Quality Assurance System is a reference for universities to better manage and organize higher education, prepare students to compete at the global level, and make a greater contribution to the local community. Bumi Sebalo Management Academy Bengkayang faces challenges in implementing the Internal Quality Assurance System, such as a lack of understanding of the Internal Quality Assurance System concept, limited human resources and infrastructure, low commitment to quality culture, and not yet having a certified internal auditor. The purpose of this community service assistance is to support the implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System through the second cycle of Internal Quality Audit using a Participatory Action Research approach consisting of the identification/assessment stage, planning, program design, implementation, and monitoring, and evaluation. As a result, Bumi Sebalo Management Academy Bengkayang successfully implemented the control cycle and can continue to the Internal Quality Assurance System improvement cycle. This is evidenced by the support of the Organizing Board, college management, the involvement of the entire academic community, and the preparation of the second cycle Internal Quality Audit report. Internal Quality Audit assistance is very useful in realizing a sustainable Internal Quality Assurance System at Bumi Sebalo Management Academy Bengkayang.
