Abstract

This study aims to find, to describe, and to inform about the management of teachers at SDIT Iqra 1 Bengkulu. This research used a qualitative approach by using a case study method. The data was  collected by observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The data analysis used interactive analysis start from: data collection, data presentation, data reduction, and collection conclusion. The results of this study contain patterns of teacher training and development at SDIT Iqra 1 Bengkulu which are different from commonly schools. The differences are in:The difference are selection of applicants written and unwritten, and interviews In addition, the differences in training and development include two the main aspects are aspects of training and development of education and religious knowledge which is carried out continuously for all teachers ranging from school principals to ordinary teachers with the pattern of forming training and development groups.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis implementasi kebijakan pendidikan dan menelaah peran, fungsi, dan tugas komite sekolah terhadap komponen input, proses, dan output pada SMK di Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei dengan populasi SMK di Jakarta dan sampel diambil secara purposive stratified. Pengumpulan data dilakukan lewat studi dokumen dan wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan secara dekriptif dan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan peran komite sekolah masih cukup tinggi, kecuali peran pengawasan (controlling) dan mediasi antara sekolah dengan dunia kerja dan industri (mediating) yang relatif rendah. Padahal, peran mediating justru sangat dibutuhkan oleh SMK sebagai institusi pendidikan yang memiliki karakteristik khusus, yakni menyiapkan peserta didik terjun ke lapangan kerja.Untuk itu, perlu dilakukan upaya mendorong agar komite sekolah SMK memiliki kapasitas untuk menjadi mediator yang baik antara sekolah dengan dunia kerja dan industri agar SMK dapat menyiapkan lulusan yang berkualitas sesuai dengan tuntutan lapangan kerja yang senantiasa berubah dinamis. Kata Kunci: implementasi, kebijakan pendidikan, komite sekolah, sekolah menengah kejuruan AN ANALYSIS OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE EDUCATIONAL POLICY: ROLE OF THE SCHOOL COMMITTEE IN THE VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOLS Abstrak: The study was aimed to analyze the implementation of the educational policy and to examine the role, functions and duties of the School Committee to the input, process and output components in the vocational high schools in Jakarta. This study used a survey method with the population of all vocational high schools in Jakarta and the sample was taken using the purposive stratified sampling technique. The data were collected using documents and interviews. All the data were analyzed descriptively. The findings showed that as a whole the school committee has high roles, except in the controlling role. The school committee had a low role in mediating the schools and industries. Yet, the mediating role was very much needed by vocational high schools which had specific characteristics, that is, preparing students to work. Therefore, the school committee should be encouraged to have the capacity to mediate the schools and the industries so that the schools could produce high quality graduates in response to the dynamic demand of the industries. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan wind tunnel berbasis digital sebagai media perbelajaran untuk mendukung kegiatan praktikum mata kuliah aerodinamika. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model penelitian pengembangan Dick and Carey. Media pembelajaran berbasis digital ini telah melalui tahap uji validasi dengan rata-rata persentase secara keseluruhan tingkat validasi materi pada media pembelajaran adalah 87.96%. Dari perolehan tiga aspek yang dinilai secara keseluruhan tingkat validasi ahli media sebagai media pembelajaran pada ekstrakurikuler aerodinamika adalah 85.79 %. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis digital ini memenuhi persyaratan dengan kualitas sangat baik untuk digunakan sebagai media penunjang dalam kegiatan pembelajaran ekstrakurikuler aerodinamika.

Abstract

Critical thinking as a component in the high-level thinking process uses the basis of analyzing arguments and generating insight into each meaning and interpretation to develop cohesive and logical reasoning patterns. This research used quantitative research methods and aimed to determine the metacognitive abilities, critical thinking abilities, and learning outcomes of students before and after being treated through posttest pretest with control class and experimental class, so the research method used by researchers is quasi experimental. The research design used is Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The results of the pre-test statistical hypothesis test show that the significance value obtained in the independent sample t-test shows a significance value of 0.767 or in other words the significance value is greater than the alpha degree of 5% ( 0.767 > 0.05) so it can be said that there is no real difference in the average value of learning outcomes of XI SMK Telkom Jakarta between the experimental group and the control group.

Abstract

Pembelajaran kolaboratif (collaborative learning) sangat dibutuhkan dalam proses pembelajaran untuk memacu motivasi belajar peserta didik. Collaborative learning merupakan model pembelajaran yang mengutamakan kerja sama dan interaksi antarpeserta didik. Selain itu, menumbuhkan keterampilan berpikir kritis saat peserta didik mengeksplorasi pengetahuan dan menemukan solusi suatu masalah dalam kelompok belajar. Pada penerapan collaborative learning sering menemui beberapa kendala yakni kesulitan pengelompokkan peserta didik yang memiliki kebutuhan belajar berbeda-beda. Pendidik masih kesulitan dalam memberikan tugas sesuai kemampuan dengan mempertimbangkan gaya belajar dan minat peserta didik.Kecerdasan buatan (AI) merupakan salah satu alternatif yang memiliki potensi mengatasi kesulitan pendidik untuk mempersonalisasi pembelajaran. Pada penelitian ini akan menemukan paparan pemanfaatan AI bagi pendidik agar lebih mudah membuat program pembelajaran dan peta kompetensi peserta didik. Hal ini akan membantu pendidik menyusun materi pembelajaran yang lebih menarik dan interaktif sesuai kebutuan peserta didik. Pada penelitian literatur review ini akan menunjukkan bahwa Integrasi AI dalam Collaborative learning sangat efektif untuk meningkatkan motivasi peserta didik dalam memahami materi yang dipelajari.

Abstract

The The increasing availability of electric cars in recent years is one of the impacts of shrinking energy sources. This development is a challenge for automotive training institutions. Even though the government has issued regulations regarding converting cars to electric car, automotive training institutions dedicated to electric vehicle conversion training still need to be established. Based on the data collected, the target is 1.000 conversion workshops certified by the end of 2023; however, until this article was written, only 24 conversion workshops had received certification. A preliminary study analysis of mechanical training needs in electric car conversion workshops is presented in this paper. The goal is to improve teaching and maximize areas of mechanical proficiency. Interviewing various people related to the automotive industry and potential buyers of electric cars is a qualitative research method. Research findings regarding sustainable professional growth's current and future conditions assist competency improvement and development. The interviewee assessed the importance of providing effective and efficient electric car conversion training, assisted by digital technology, as part of the educational process and chose the flipped classroom model.

Abstract

The selection process of a coaching model should be an initial consideration before conducting training activities. However, the limited availability of coaching models hinders the delivery of quality training programs. Therefore, it is necessary to have options for coaching models. This research aims to develop a goal, actual, alternative, plan, action, monitoring, and reflection based on blended learning (GAARANTUNG) a coaching model rooted in goal, reality, option, will (GROW) with the addition of action, monitoring, and reflection elements based on blended learning. The development of this coaching model is conducted by adopting the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE) research and development concept, which involves three main steps: analysis, design, and development. The results of this research include the availability of a coaching model that meets the needs, including the incorporation of technological elements within GAARANTUNG. The GAARANTUNG coaching model is the improved version of the GROW coaching model, which only focuses on action planning, and the goal, reality, option, will-monitoring, evaluation (GROW-ME) coaching model, which lacks a description of coaching during action and does not include digital technology elements. The refinement of the syntax in GROW and GROW-ME to form GAARANTUNG is a crucial step in providing a coaching model that aligns with the needs and facilitates the implementation of training programs, specifically targeting the main needs of participants, including teachers and school principals.

Abstract

Kegiatan pembelajaran Kebinekaan Modul Nusantara adalah salah satu bentuk implementasi dari kurikulum Merdeka Belajar – Kampus Merdeka pada program Pertukaran Mahasiswa Merdeka. Kegiatan tersebut memberi kesempatan untuk mahasiswa dalam mengeksplorasi bentuk keragaman budaya setempat dan menerapkan makna toleransi di dalamnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis keberhasilan dari kegiatan pembelajaran tersebut pada mahasiswa inbound Universitas Negeri Jakarta Angkatan II. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Komponen dan aspek yang digunakan adalah model pengajaran QAIT dan subjek penelitian berfokus pada mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwasanya kegiatan pembelajaran Kebinekaan Modul Nusantara telah mencapai keberhasilan dalam penerapan kurikulum Merdeka Belajar – Kampus Merdeka. Hal tersebut didukung pada kualitas materi dan kegiatan pembelajaran yang telah memenuhi tujuan pembelajaran, kemampuan mahasiswa yang baik dan siap untuk mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran, pemberian dorongan berupa motivasi untuk mahasiswa, serta waktu yang dialokasikan dan dimaksimalkan telah diberikan dan dimanfaatkan dengan baik.

Abstract

Muara Gembong is the most remote coastal area in Bekasi Regency, West Java. This location causes the learning process carried out by teachers to be conventional, both in the use of learning media, methods, and presentation of modules as teaching materials.  The purpose of this community service (PkM) is to increase participants' knowledge and skills in designing learning tools using Gemini AI, Canva, and Quizziz applications. The training method used is a training method with lecture, participatory and simulation learning techniques. After the training activities, participants filled out an evaluation questionnaire to assess the implementation of training activities. The results of the PkM achieved were an increase in the aspects of (1) the knowledge of teachers at Madinatul Ilmi Islamic Junior High School in making learning tools increased, indicated by a gain value of 0.32 with a percentage of 55% obtained from the pre-test and post-test results (2) The training activities of mentoring the development of technology-based learning tools for teachers at Madinatul Ilmi Muara Gembong Junior High School have a positive effect as evidenced by the teachers being able to understand how to develop more interesting and creative learning tools. The long-term target is to provide convenience for the development of teaching materials and support the improvement of the quality of education in Muara Gembong District. Keywords: learning tools, technology media, application Abstrak Muara Gembong merupakan wilayah pesisir paling ujung di Kabupaten Bekasi, Jawab Barat. Lokasi ini menyebabkan proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan guru-guru masih konvensional, baik dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran, metode, dan penyajian modul sebagai bahan ajar.  Tujuan pengabdian pada masyarakat (PkM) ini adalah peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam mendesain perangkat pembelajaran menggunakan aplikasi Gemini AI, Canva, dan Quizziz. Metode pelatihan yang digunakan adalah metode pelatihan dengan teknik pembelajaran ceramah, partisipatif dan simulasi. Setelah kegiatan pelatihan peserta mengisi kuesioner evaluasi untuk menilai penyelenggaraan kegiatan pelatihan. Hasil PkM yang dicapai adalah peningkatan dalam aspek (1) pengetahuan para guru di SMP Islam Madinatul Ilmi dalam membuat perangkat pembelajaran meningkat, ditunjukkan nilai gain 0,32 dengan persentase 55% yang diperoleh dari hasil pre test dan post test (2) Kegiatan pelatihan pendampingan pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis media teknologi pada guru di SMP Madinatul Ilmi Muara Gembong berpengaruh positif dibuktikan dengan para guru bisa memahami cara mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran yang lebih menarik dan kreatif. Target jangka panjang adalah memberikan kemudahan untuk pengembangan bahan ajar dan mendukung peningkatan mutu pendidikan di Kecamatan Muara Gembong. Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of transformational leadership on teacher compensation and performance in Private Schools in Tambora District, West Jakarta. Compensation in this study includes financial rewards, such as salaries and benefits, as well as non-financial, such as work facilities, training, and appreciation. The correlational research method is used in a quantitative approach, with the location of the research in private schools in the sub-district. The results of the double correlation coefficient significance test showed significant differences in the regression model that explained the variability of teacher performance (F = 8.067, p = .001). In particular, Transformational Compensation and Leadership, as predictors, make a significant contribution in explaining variations in teacher performance. The Coefficients analysis highlights the positive and significant impact of Transformational Leadership (p = .008) and Compensation (p = .022) on teacher performance. These findings support the hypothesis that improved Transformational Leadership and Compensation can improve teacher performance. The implications of this study show the importance of implementing transformational leadership and an adequate compensation system in improving the quality of education in private schools in Tambora District, West Jakarta. Transformational leadership can drive teacher and staff motivation, innovation, and performance, while a decent compensation system can increase job motivation and retain qualified educators.
