Abstract

Tujuan dari Pengabdian Masyarakat adalah merupakan kewajiban sebagai seorang dosen selain Penelitian dan Pendidikan. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran di Lembaga PAUD sangat diperlukan melalui permainan dan media yang menyenangkan dan yang sesuai dengan usia anak. Oleh sebab itu peraga sangat diperlukan dalam pembelajaran Anak Usia Dini. Media sangat diperlukan agar dapat menarik minat Anak Usia Dini. Pengadaan alat peraga sangat dibutukan, tidak harus beli dalam membuat permainan yang menyenangkan untuk Anak Usia Dini, bahkan bisa memakai dari bahan daur ulang atau bahan bekas yang masih bisa terpakai. Berdasarkan keadaan di lapangan seperti di atas maka kami mengadakan kegiatan berupa pengabdian masyarakat. Pengabdian Masyarakat yang akan dilakukan adalah pendampingan kepada orang tua untuk menumbuhkan karakter Anak Usia Dini melalui kegiatan permainan yang menyenangkan dengan menggunakan media bahan daur ulang atau bahan bekas yang masih bisa terpakai dan yang dikenal oleh anak. Pelaksanaan akan dilakukan di TK Kreatif Cendekia Surabaya dengan alasan FKIP UNUSA pada tahun-tahun sebelumnya telah menjalin kerjasama (MoU) dengan lembaga tersebut melalui Tri Dharma. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan tujuan meningkatkan kreativitas orang tua dan menambah semangat dan antuasias anak usia dini selam SFH (School From Home).Abstact: The objective of Community Service is to fulfill an obligation as a faculty member, in addition to Research and Education. The implementation of learning in Early Childhood Education Institutions is essential through enjoyable games and media that are age-appropriate for the children. Therefore, instructional aids are crucial in the learning process of Early Childhood. Media is necessary to attract the interest of Early Childhood. The provision of teaching aids is imperative, and it is not necessary to purchase new items for creating enjoyable games for Early Childhood. Instead, recycled materials or reusable waste materials can be used. Based on the field conditions as described, we have organized community service activities. The Community Service to be undertaken involves assisting parents in nurturing the character of Early Childhood through enjoyable gaming activities using recycled materials or reusable waste materials familiar to the children. The implementation will take place at TK Kreatif Cendekia Surabaya, chosen because FKIP UNUSA had previously established a partnership (MoU) with this institution through Tri Dharma. This activity aims to enhance the creativity of parents and boost the enthusiasm and eagerness of early childhood children during SFH (School from Home).

Abstract

This research investigates the relevance of development in the city and town of Probolinggo through a quantitative and qualitative approach using development risk analysis. Development risk analysis is used to prove the assumption that the level of social development risk in an area can reflect the level of sustainable development. This research was conducted in Probolinggo City, East Java as one of the areas where development in the fields of tourism, business, and economy is being promoted. The data collection method is carried out by conducting a survey whose results are analyzed to produce the level of development and risk in the development and risk index measure. The research results show that the lower the risk of developing a city in Probolinggo City, the greater the sustainable development achievements in Probolinggo City. These findings can make a significant contribution to the development of regional development policies. The implications of this research can be the basis for developing more effective development strategies by considering social risk factors as the main indicators. This research concludes that the level of economic, social, and ecological risk from the implementation of development in the city of Probolinggo is very low.

Abstract

Pada era digital, kemajuan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi memberikan tantangan sekaligus peluang dalam dunia pendidikan. Anak-anak kini memiliki akses luas ke berbagai sumber belajar digital, yang menuntut peran aktif orang tua dalam mengawasi dan mendampingi proses pendidikan mereka. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan orang tua agar dapat mendukung pendidikan anak secara efektif di era digital. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR), yang melibatkan partisipasi aktif orang tua dalam setiap tahap kegiatan, mulai dari identifikasi kebutuhan hingga evaluasi hasil. Program pengabdian ini mencakup pelatihan dan workshop yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan orang tua dalam memanfaatkan teknologi digital untuk pendidikan anak. Hasil dari pengabdian ini menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan kemampuan orang tua dalam mengelola penggunaan teknologi oleh anak-anak mereka. Selain itu, terjadi perubahan sikap yang lebih positif terhadap penggunaan teknologi digital dalam pendidikan, serta peningkatan keterlibatan orang tua dalam proses pembelajaran anak. Pembentukan komunitas belajar orang tua juga menjadi salah satu hasil yang signifikan, yang memberikan dukungan berkelanjutan dan pertukaran informasi di antara para orang tua. Kesimpulannya, pengabdian ini berhasil memberdayakan orang tua untuk menjadi pendamping yang lebih kompeten dan percaya diri dalam mendukung pendidikan anak di era digital. Namun, untuk menjaga keberlanjutan dampak positif ini, diperlukan dukungan berkelanjutan dan program lanjutan yang lebih komprehensif.

Abstract

The pandemic period impacts every sector, including the education sector, which applies online learning. Right in 2021, the government will implement innovations in the teaching and learning system. Renewal of learning with Flipped Classroom Techniques at Face-to-Face Meetings in Turns. Of course, this renewal makes optimal use of the use of technology. The school that applies this technique is the Taman Dewasa Junior High School in Probolinggo City. This learning program is fairly new to be implemented in schools and is only known by students. So that its implementation needs to be monitored and assessed to improve the quality of services in the field of education, especially the Flipped Classroom program. The researcher conducted SKM research within the scope of the Taman Dewasa Junior High School in Probolinggo City. The method used is descriptive quantitative. Orientation of the instrument with observations and interviews in the form of a questionnaire via google form which was distributed to students of SMP Taman Dewasa Probolinggo City. There are 43 questions that describe 9 elements of public service. So that it can be seen the assessment of the SKM by students on the implementation of education services at the Taman Dewasa Junior High School in Probolinggo City. The results of the assessment indicate student satisfaction with the status of "agree" to good grades at school. In general, the level of student satisfaction related to learning with the flipped classroom technique at face-to-face meetings in rotation at the Taman Dewasa Junior High School in Probolinggo City is 75.55175. The quality of service is good by showing the SKM status in the "Agree" statement.

Abstract

Kluwih vegetable floss is a local plant-based culinary innovation that is currently developing in Indonesia. As an alternative to meat floss, this product offers unique flavor, value, and nutritional content consisting of high carbohydrates, dietary fiber, and protein, as well as a very large and broad national market potential. Kluwih vegetable floss is a processed product in the form of fine fibers that resemble meat floss, but is made from plants found in the Pajarakan area of Probolinggo owned by the target partner. The purpose of this production is to provide a high-fiber and low-cholesterol food alternative that is very suitable for vegetarians and vegans. This potential is not wasted by the target partner to process kluwih fruit into kluwih vegetable floss with a very high selling value. Various problems arose in the production process caused by very limited resources and capital, such as in the production function of the frying process stage which still uses conventional tools (large pans). The existence of PKM grant assistance from the Directorate of Research and Community Service of the Ministry of Education and Culture in the manufacture of an automatic frying machine according to the target partner's needs was able to simplify the production process effectively and efficiently. By using this automatic frying machine, the Kluwih Vegetable Floss SME produces high-quality products packaged using a continuous band sealer. The automatic frying machine is able to cut down on time and reduce human resources so that employee energy can be diverted to other production functions at other stages and the frying stage no longer uses traditional tools. This automatic frying machine has undergone a trial process in Jember before being handed over to target partners in Probolinggo. The results of the field trial showed the effectiveness of the kluwih vegetable floss production process by properly regulating the temperature, machine pressure and machine maintenance procedures. The results obtained are that the machine produces very quickly, efficiently and produces very satisfactory results for target partners.

Abstract

In this paper, we will examine if the trickle-down effect has ever taken in rural Indonesia. One of the cases draws attention in economic development study is poverty and income gap from wealthiest people to the less fortunate larger group of people. The argument goes as trickle-down effect appears to be the best solution to eradicate poverty as well as to solve the income gap. Tourism has become a strategy targeted by the government to spread the trickle-down effect to the less fortunate larger group of people. The government believes by sustaining the growth in tourism would accelerate the trickle-down effect and brings a less fortunate group of people to better living. In its fundamental theory, the trickle-down effect has offered delusion where jobs would be created as the conditions are met. However, this paper argues that even in tourism the trickle-down effect strategy has served less for what it has promised. Through qualitative research in Ngadisari Village, a remote area, where Mount Bromo has been a tourism landmark globally, this paper finds that trickle-down effect has come with little benefit to uplift the living standard of the poor. Thus, the trickle-down effect has served only as delusions of growth government has ever aspired.Keywords: humanism, Mount Bromo, tourism economics, tourist destination, trickle-down economics.

Abstract

Individual Level Analysis of France President Emmanuel Macron. This paper is the result of an individual level analysis study conducted to explain qualitatively the personality, motivation and beliefs of French President Emmanuel Macron. This study employs qualitative data consisting of event data collected from various news sources with exclusionof exclusive interviews and state speeches and studied since Emmanuel Macron was inaugurated as President of France on May 17, 2017. Explanations regarding personality, motivation and beliefs assist to compile the rationality built on the record of educational background, family background, personality also helps to identify the relationship between leadership styles, motivation for decisions and actions that reflect the direction of French foreign policy. While beliefs are recognized through statements and answers given by for questions raised by journalists or foreign journalists in certain situations. This paper using a framework of individual analysis studies by Valerie Hudson, Jerrold Post and Margaret Hermann, it is concluded that Emmanuelle Macron is classified as a type of leader who is inconsistent with the characteristics of expansionist ambitions, high information complexity, good level of diplomatic knowledge  or training and always had a consideration to invite other countries to establish harmonious and strategic relations with France.Keywords:   individual level analysis, leadership type, conciliatory leadership type, foreign policy analysis

Abstract

The transformation of the agricultural sector in rural areas is increasingly confronted with structural pressures arising from climate change, resource constraints, and the declining participation of younger generations in agricultural activities. These conditions necessitate the development of adaptive and sustainable agricultural innovations, one of which is the implementation of greenhouse systems. This study aims to analyze the role of village government in the implementation of the Greenhouse Program in Klasemen Village, Probolinggo Regency, employing Sondang P. Siagian’s theory of governmental roles, which encompasses the functions of facilitator, regulator, motivator, and dynamizer. A descriptive qualitative approach was adopted, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using an interactive analysis technique. The findings indicate that the village government performs an integrated and strategic role in supporting the success of the program. As a facilitator, the village government provides infrastructure, administrative support, and access to external networks. As a regulator, it establishes rules and management mechanisms that ensure orderly program implementation. As a motivator, it fosters changes in community mindset and enhances farmers’ participation in adopting agricultural innovations. Meanwhile, as a dynamizer, it sustains program continuity through active involvement, strengthened collaboration, and the maintenance of group dynamics among farmers. These findings demonstrate that the success of the Greenhouse Program is not solely determined by technical aspects but is also significantly influenced by the institutional capacity of the village government in integrating administrative and social functions simultaneously. This study contributes to the enrichment of public administration literature, particularly in the context of village governance in implementing community-based agricultural innovations. Furthermore, the findings offer practical insights for the formulation of village-level policies aimed at strengthening food security and promoting sustainable development at the local level.
